Hands down the best hotel experience I’ve had. Vacations are for relaxing, not joining lines and rushing for lounge spots. Jamaica Inn is beautifully designed and well maintained. The water at the beach is crystal clear and the sand is immaculate. The service is top notch from checking in to checking out. The room overlooking the water is a must… Relaxation at its highest. Book early… book often!

This is a beautiful property with excellent, friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect. This is not a trendy, loud, typical resort. This property is very laid back and upscale with the best beach I've seen thus far. The food and drinks were delicious, especially the outdoor fire roasted pizza during lunch. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay. We plan to come back next year.

Just perfect- lovely staff who make you feel very welcome, very good food with a nice variety of changing menus, and relaxed, refined vibe. The beach is beautiful, and our cottage was amazing for a family of five. Thank you for a wonderful and very relaxing stay.

My first time to Jamaica and I did my research and found this paradise of a place! I chose it because of the History and great reviews and just took a chance. It was the best decision and I fell in Love with this place. It was everything and more then I had hoped. One of the highlights was the turtle release on May 2nd, 2022. We enjoyed the spa, playing croquet, the beach was very private, rooms very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It's definitely not a party place like so many I had researched, but plenty of entertainment to be had. The grounds were absolutely breathtaking! Loved having Shadow the lab visiting us on our private veranda! Thank you for making our stay so special!

All I can say is that it's a very quiet place which is good for the ones who want or need peace and quiet. The bed in our room very soft so if you have a back problems might want to check with front desk first, then you don't want to take a shower at the same time as others due to very low water pressure. Other then that food is really good and the movie outside on the beach very nice including the service as well.

We had an amazing too-brief stay here as a last-minute escape from our busy lives. It was a taste of old world luxury; early morning swims, breakfast served to us on our private veranda, drinks all day on the beach, formal cocktails followed by dinners on the terrace, and amazing spa services. The entire staff- from concierge/ food service/ spa/ housekeeping/ grounds crew- was friendly and helpful. So happy we found this spot and will be sure to return! (And shout out to Oscar the friendly driver who drove and entertained us from airport to resort and back!)

If you're looking to disconnect from the world and connect with what's important to you, this is the place to come. Beautiful, welcoming, luxurious service. Beautiful grounds with a lot of beautiful history along with plants and trees. The beach is beautiful and relaxing. We actually had the opportunity of watching newly hatched baby turtles make their way to the ocean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Truly incredible experience! Jamaica Inn is serene, relaxing and old school in the best way. The staff was so attentive, the food delicious and varied and the beach was so gorgeous. This place really feels like home and as though it could only exist in Jamaica. My husband and I cannot wait to return. We feel lucky to have stayed here.

Incredible experience. Every aspect of this hotel is top-notch. I felt like we were transported back in time to a James Bond movie set from the 1960’s. The staff went above and beyond every day. The atmosphere was sophisticated and elegant yet approachable and super laid back. The beach was exceptional. Water activities galore, and we had multiple once-in-a-lifetime experiences with wildlife - baby sea turtle release + witnessing a beautiful spotted eagle ray gliding by right before us in the bay. Cannot wait to get back there…

How this beautiful hotel provides such consistently excellent service is a wonder. I can't wait to go back. I'd say that for the money, this is the best Caribbean hotel I've ever stayed at. Such a pleasure.

having a very busy life I was looking for a place to truly disconnect and enjoy doing nothing. This was the place. From stepping out of the room and into the sand, to the staff being so attentive, the Jamaica Inn was everything I could have asked for. I can't count how many times I heard "we will get it for you, your are on vacation. Just relax". From the time I arrived until the very end, each staff member treated you as you were their own individual guest. Amazing!. If you are looking for night life and clubs, this place is not for you. If you are looking to enjoy peace with someone special and to disconnect from reality, this is it! The stay was so excellent, another week was booked for next year and I can't wait!

The Jamaica Inn exceded our expectations. We felt like we were guests in a friends home, not hotel guests. You feel like you have walked into an elegant time capsule. Everything was perfect. We look forward to returning.

Our stay at Jamaica Inn was amazing. The staff and accommodations are wonderful, all designed to provide a pleasant and diverse experience for guests. There are plenty of beach activities available, and they take great care with towel availability and assistance. The location is beautiful, secluded yet close to the attractions and conveniences of the area. However, two things were disappointing: 1. If you're over 1.70m tall, the shower will be too low. 2. You can't see the sea from inside the room with the AC on because the window is wooden louvered, and if you stay on the balcony, it's scorching hot without a fan or AC.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Jamaica Inn and I loved it. It is a boutique style hotel and very different than a resort. The customer service is unmatched. We were welcomed with a candle and a bottle of rum! The restaurants served fresh and delicuous food.Everyone was so kind and thoughtful. I enjoyed our time there and hope to visit again!

We needed an anniversary weekend getaway and Jamaica Inn was the ideal spot. The hotel is designed for relaxation, reconnection, rejuvenation, and all the other beautiful Rs. It just offers the serenity to bring you back to appreciate nature and to observe God's wonderful creation. The beach is just pristine, the Sea Spa is just devine, the staff is courteous and friendly and they go out of their way to call your room to ensure that you are comfortable...I can't wait to return to this home away from home. 👏👏🥳🥳

Exceptional. I stopped by for breakfast with some friends and had the waffle and eggs with bacon, sausages, and ham. It was inexpensive and a lot more than I imagined in terms of portion. When next I visit, I'm staying in the rooms. Service was top tier, too.

There is no better place on earth for a luxurious relaxed beach vacation. Excellent food and drink always served by friendly professionals who truly seem to enjoy their jobs. Calm and warm ocean water suitable for even the most timid swimmers. Thanks to all at the Inn for another perfect vacation.

I recently had the most incredible stay at Jamaica Inn and I can't say enough about the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, to the daily breakfast service that left us feeling pampered, every interaction was filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. The housekeeping team ensured our room was spotless and comfortable throughout our stay, and the property itself was a lush and beautiful oasis where we could truly enjoy a private beach experience without any chaos. The highlight for me was the authentic Jamaican meal options, especially the vegetarian dishes, which were absolutely delicious and a delightful surprise. I highly recommend Jamaica Inn for an unforgettable vacation where you can indulge in luxury, tranquility, and incredible culinary experiences. My wife is already planning our next trip there. - M.J.

Such an amazing place! This place offers 1st class service all the way around. If you want ultra sleek and modern, this place isn't for you. It's classic, which makes it all the more charming. Loved everything about this place. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the food is excellent, and the drinks are even better (you must have the Planter's Punch).

We stayed in one of the cottages and I can honestly say that it was the best hotel experience I’ve had. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous view of the beach, cute plungepool. Immaculately clean. The staff is wonderful. The snorkeling is fantastic and there are plentiful kayaks to take a row on the bay. Perfection

We are a few days back from Jamaican Inn. 😢 Oh how much my heart and mind are still there. We loved every minute of it. We had room #41. It was an end unit with the verandah on the beach. It literally was a little slice of heaven. Every day, we took breakfast on our verandah. One evening, we took dinner on the verandah. It was stunning. In the morning, the beach attendants would cme to the verandah and ask if we wanted them to prepare the beach chairs for us(mere steps from the verandah). They also came around every morning around 11 to see if wanted some rum punch (or the nonalcoholic version). The first day, within minutes of our unpacking - there was a turtle release! It was so very cool! We went in the water every day. The snorkeling right off the beach was just awesome. We saw starfish, a spotted eagle ray (!), tons of fish, and beautiful coral! They have a ton of watersport equipment included. You just speak with the ever present beach attendants. There’s also a gentleman who takes you on boat rides. Really awesome guy. Infectious personality… Gary. He’ll take you deep fishing, snorkeling, to the waterfalls, etc. We had him take us for a scenic boat ride down the coast and then snorkeling on the reef. Just awesome! What else can I say? We didn’t originally sign up for it, but did end up doing all- inclusive. It was just nice not to think of costs of anything. We did tea time once, but it was so very warm and humid outside that it made it a bit unpleasant. It may have been better if they had teatime in an air-conditioned space! We didn’t do teatime again for that reason. The Terrace restaurant was where we had dinner most nights. It was lovely with a really great band playing. The only issue was really that it was really warm and humid and my husband didn’t necessarily want to wear long pants for dinner. So, we took 2 nights dinner away from the Terrace (one at the beach grill, which was awesome as well) and one on our verandah.) I will be remiss if I do not mention service. We received absolutely outstanding service on all accounts! You will be catered to! This was our first….of many trips to Jamaica Inn, that we can be sure.

This is one of my favourite places to stay on earth! There is no place that offers this level of impeccable service with traditional Jamaican charm. Waking up and walking out of our room on to the beach is such an experience. There is a reason why their spa has on so many world awards. Kenneth was able to work knots out of muscles which I thought was impossible—all from a table over looking the ocean

Most relaxing boutique hotel!!!! No tv’s in the room but that’s not a problem because you will actually be relaxing on the beach.

HEAVEN ON EARTH A stay at Jamaica Inn never disappoints. The hotel is a little piece of paradise nestled in a beautiful cove on the north coast of Jamaica. The staff are like friends who become family. No request is too difficult nor too much of a task for their well trained, pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. Our bungalow was spacious, private and equipped with everything you need to forget where you came from and immerse yourself in luxury. I have to make special mention of our driver Carlos who took great care of us whenever we needed to go into town or on an excursion. I also can’t leave out sweet shadow, the hotel’s permanent resident canine. Playing with her and getting afternoon visits from her was a daily treat and reminded me of my laborer retriever back home. All I can say is until next time Jamaica Inn, soon come back!

I am excited but also hesitant to write this review for Jamaica Inn because on one hand, they are AMAZING and deserve this review, but on the other hand, I wish I could keep this place secret for myself! If you are looking for a beautiful, luxurious resort that is private and quiet but also treats you like royalty and family at the same time, this place is it. My two sisters and I stayed for a sisters vacation for a week and it felt like it was our own private resort. We stayed in Cottage 6, and we had our own private entrance into the ocean through a stairway, and our own private little pool overlooking the ocean. The ocean entrance was AMAZING for us snorkelers and we spent almost 30 hours in total snorkeling straight off our balcony, where we saw rays, puffer fish, eels, conches, crabs, and assorted other tropical fish. The pool was plenty big enough for us three to chill after swimming in the ocean, and our cottage was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable with AC in the bedrooms. Heads up that there is no AC in the main living areas, though! Just ceiling fans, though we spent our days outside mostly anyway, so it didn't bother us. Even the resort beach felt mostly empty and very quiet. The resort is very eco conscious, which we love, and on one day, we even got to witness them transporting some sea turtle eggs to their private beach to keep them safe so they could hatch safely. They welcomed us guests to watch and educated us about how they protect the sea turtles, and we even got to hold an egg! (Thank you so much, Ovan!)They also hold hatchings/releases for the guests, though we weren't lucky enough to be there during one. On to the service: in a word, perfection. It's a small, friendly staff at this resort, where they all learn who your names and you will learn theirs. Kinsley at the front desk helped us book all the excursions we wanted. No one ever told us no, just helped us figure out how to get there. We had private transportation everywhere we went and were almost always the first ones to a place so we had the place to ourselves (Dunn's falls, Blue hole, shopping at the marketplace, etc.). They even have their own private boat that can take you out to snorkel at the fish sanctuary nearby, and Captains Tony and Gary were wonderful! The housekeeping and pool staff is always conscientious, friendly, and detail oriented (Thank you, KK, Beverly, and Marvin!). The food and bar service is just as exceptional (thanks to Stretch, Jason, and David!), and I highly recommend their pina coladas. And the food itself? DELICIOUS, and a mix of options we are used to and some local delicacies!!! We did not do the all inclusive option because we found in our first couple days that we weren't spending enough to make it worth it. We loved how much space and privacy we had, unlike the more crowded resorts in the area. We were so devastated when we had to go at the end of our trip, and we totally understand why every other guest we talked to had already stayed there several times. What a retreat!

I visited the property on a site inspection for a project and was amazed by the consistently high quality once you arrive at the property. The old world charm, the peace and tranquility in an amazingly beautiful setting is always unforgettable.

Our second stop on our honeymoon - and it was beyond beautiful! We had the best room, with a private terrace overlooking the ocean. We spent most of our time on the terrace and didn’t want to leave the property. It is a rather quiet part of Jamaica (I guess), the beach has clear waters and no rocks. The restaurant, however, could do with a little upgrade to its breakfast menu. The quality isn’t the best, perhaps limit the menu and offer more Jamaican delicacies. Especially on a long stay (we stayed for 8 days), couple of different menus would be a nice surprise as we got bored of breakfast on the third day. Definitely a relaxing place to be in! Oh and such wonderful and cheerful staff members. Thank you to the entire crew at Jamaica Inn for making our honeymoon so special.

I stayed a few nights in this paradise back in February on my honeymoon. The building, an old colonial mansion, it is just gorgeous. The couple that runs the hotel are incredible lovely. The whole staff make you fell you are in paradise. There are daily activities for the guests. I loved the one they taught us to play crocquet (very british aristocratic game), followed by wine. Every evening the hotel restaurant has live music what makes even more incredible the experience. By the way the food it is so fresh and Well prepared. A beautiful dining experience. We also had the dining under stars experience. A table in the sand by torches. Just perfect. We regretted to not had stayed longer. Before departing we were even blessed with baby turtles being read to get back to water, as the hotel works as a natural reserve.

This is truly one of the most relaxing and beautiful places in the world. I hesitated to write this review as, selfishly, I would like to keep this hidden gem for myself ;) The hotel, full of history, beauty, great service, wonderful food and drinks, and a place to recharge. The highlight of the rooms – these are simple, beautiful, with huge open, amazingly furnished and comfortable verandas, perfect for chilling, reading and relaxing. The room is something out of the history books or movies that you never want to end. But when you finally do leave the room and veranda and head to the beach – you can do many more slow pace activities like kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling, sailing, floats, etc. Shadow IV, the local celebrity dog, come and visit you from time to time which made my wife very happy :) Just enough shaded huts and trees. Don't need to rush ;) just relax! Teddy’s bar, on the beach, thanks so much for the complimentary daily Planter’s Punch - we have become a big fan of it :) The restaurant is a very special experience. My wife's absolute favourite was the catch of the day. The service is terrific and friendly, and everyone makes you feel special. We loved to dress up each night and enjoy the soft music. I hope it remains essentially unchanged for as long as can be. It is everything you want when you stay at a small, family-run, historic property that is built and maintained with true love! We hope we will return more frequently. PS.: thanks so much Owen (the turtle whisperer) for allowing me to be the latest a best midwife/midhusband! I will always be grateful for being a part that amazing experience. Please keep up the good work!

This was my first trip to Jamaica, but definitely not my last! I’ve never stayed in a hotel that could leave me room with my doors a jar and no one would bother my things! During my trip I got any opportunity to visit Dunn's River Falls and the Blue Hole. The rooms are very tastefully decorated with a big nod to traditional, but still managed to feel modern and fresh. Do as much or as little as you want, but at the Jamaica Inn you’ll be completely relaxed. Warm, attentive staff, beautiful rooms, exclusive beach, quiet, and and safe. Loved my stay!

Recently returned from a week at Jamaica Inn and it was an excellent experience! From the owners to the team, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Beach, facilities and accommodation were spot on! I can’t name everyone, but Patrick, Maurice and Carter were all very friendly. I look forward to revisiting in the future

We had a fabulous time staying at the Jamaica Inn. The rooms were gorgeous with beautiful water views and a balcony for us to enjoy the endless sunrises and sunsets. The service was impeccable and everyone was so warm and welcoming. We cannot wait to return!

The Jamaica Inn is a really nice hotel... But it's not for everyone. There is a dress code to have dinner at night, and there is croquet on the lawn... If you're into that type of thing and you like classical jamaican decor (not hyper modern) then the Jamaican inn is the place for you. That's not really my thing, so I probably wouldn't go back but the hotel is excellent. Service is amazing, grounds are splendid, real good chef at the restaurant, nice beach, but just not my crowd.

Business trip. Spent 2 nights. Lots of charm and the trappings of a fast-fading era when hotels were peaceful, quiet places to rest and absorb nature's gifts. You pay for quality, but the discerning minority know what's really valuable and value for money. Hope to return for 7 nights.

A Vacation spot that feels like home. This hotel to is one of Jamaica best kept secret. My stay was amazing 👏. The staffs really go the distance for you, they make you feel like you're the only guest even though they is a lot more people on the property. The Tranquility is amazing. My next Vacation will be At Jamaica Inn. Wow I can't wait 😍

Before getting into how absolutely marvelous this resort is, we want to first say that the greatest attribute of this place is the amazing staff. Each and every person we encountered made our visit even better, with great conversation or going above and beyond the call of duty, including (in alphabetical order): Adrian, Carter, Jacqueline, Jayson, Kingsley, Marie, Palmer, Patrice, Richard, Sherlene, & Stretch. (I know I missed a few names and I am so very sorry). Marie and Sherlene, an extra special ‘thank you’ to you both for your incredible kindness and help when we needed it. So, we have been on quite a few vacations over the years, and our stay at the Jamaica Inn was truly second to none, and, the most romantic. The rooms are immaculate, which is a major thing for me since I’m a clean freak. They are exactly as they appear on the website, with beautiful furnishings and spectacular views. The food is fantastic. The menus offer many choices and we enjoyed each and every meal. Even lunch on the beach and room service were as good, and presented as nicely, as dining on the Terrace. The servers and chefs were very accommodating and patient with my husband’s specific food requests. The nightly entertainment was so enjoyable and the band members were a lot of fun, especially during the Christmas holiday. The grounds and beach are pristine. It’s obvious why we kept reading and hearing that the beach here is the best in Jamaica. If we had to give one piece of constructive criticism it is that the Red Stripe is insanely priced for a locally brewed beer :-) Thank you all for such a wonderful and memorable vacation – we can’t wait to come back. ONE LOVE
