I ordered the jerk burger which came out about 24mins after been ordered. The waitress was not pleasant by any means. She didn't even bring any ketchup to the table nor asked if I wanted any. I had to ask one of the ladies in the bar for ketchup. I went to wash my hands and there was no water in the bathroom. With soap already covering my hands, I asked one of the employee at the cash register if there was no water here and she started laughing, which turned out to be my waitress. One of her coworkers had to advise me that there was no water. I'm nothing looking any apologies but not even the courtesy to say we don't have any water and we are sorry. They had to call someone else to get some water for me. She came with water in a cup and poured on my hands so I could wash them. The bathroom condition is terrible. The smell of pee was unbearable. I will never come back here and would not recommend. The attention given to locals was evidently different from that of the tourists in a bad way.

They had the best chicken I tasted on all week. Definitely would eat there when im in Jamaica.

Okay so I’ve always wanted to try this place. We got there in the night and place our order. However it was a busy night so a staff member took our receipts to speed up the waiting. There’s a lot of seating plus a sports bar you sit around. There is enough food to choose from and a lot of combo of deals with beer parings. The food for me wasn’t good. The chicken was basic and dry 😭 and my friends had the same review.

Great place to stop by to try some traditional jerk chicken when in the area. However, I must say, after spending 3 weeks in Jamaica it is definitely a pricey place for what they have to offer. We had the jerk chicken, jerk pork, and jerk burger during our visits and to be honest everything was just okay and the burger was terrible. Almost as if they put no effort on it at all. I give it a four star because the staff was lovely and we have definitely had worse this trip. So stop by when in Ocho Rios, but if you have more then a day, try the local jerk chicken on the street and that will blow you away!

Our family always eats at Ocho Rios Jerk Center when we're in Ochi. This is after driving through the town looking for a nice place to eat with great food. They never let us down. We'll make a another trip here just to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and maybe stay over at a hotel.

The experience was lovely. The wait was not too long and the food was delicious. Our server Leighton was pleasant and attentive.

It’s a decent place, frequented by a lot of people, just that it didn’t live up to my expectations. The jerk pork was tough and dry and didn’t come with any sides for a dish at 1500 Jmd. The food quantity was comparatively less. I have had jerk port at other places including at a famous restaurant and they gave a good platter at the same price. The service is slow and only a few seating has fan and it was a hot day. Could have been better & had a lot of expectations from this place.

Lovely setting/location with car park. The menu is large in a positive way. Plenty of options for seating, an amazing feeling of calmness and relaxation seated outside while we waited for the food to arrive. It has a larger seating area with a sports bar, very lively. The food was super tasty, jerk chicken is so good - the best I have had, jerk pork, roast fish etc all delicious. The staff are very professional and courteous. I most definitely will be going there on every visit to Ochi and I highly recommend you do so too.

Ocho Rios Jerk Center is an ideally located Jamaican style restaurant in Ocho Rios. It’s a bit pricey for locals who desire to dine in, so it seems like they cater for cash-laden tourists. The food is really very tasty although the wait to be served is VERY looonng! It’s a very busy establishment. The premises are kept clean and the music is. It too loud. I found the waiters to be very friendly and engaging. They make you feel at home. There is a wide variety on the menu so it’s worth the visit.

We had a fantastic experience here! The food was delicious- have to try the festival bread. The open air dining is fantastic for being in Jamaica and the service was great. We got here before 12 and it wasn’t crowded but started to fill up. Try the red stripe with lemonade!

This is a great place, wonderful customer service, great ambiance and the food is properly done. Food comes hot as if it was prepared upon on order, yet you get your order very quickly

Cons: The quality of food at Jerk Center is trashy if it is not jerk chicken! I have tried various items on the menu such as the veggie wrap, curry goat (pictured above), chicken panini, salad, jerk chicken, jerk burger. So, I feel I can say I have given Jerk Center a fair many chances to demonstrate that they can serve good food. The only thing I have found to be palatable is the jerk chicken. The cost of the food given the quality is not worth it. Today, I got the veggie wrap and literally the wrap was only lettuce and a few diced (less than 10) tomatoes in a tortilla wrap. Some of the lettuce was clearly old and brown. Beyond disappointing. I ordered a margarita with sugar on the rim and was brought a margarita with salt and was told they didn't have sugar, so they used salt. Sent the drink back because if you can't meet the request, then come back and say so, don't make the drink I specifically said I didn't want. They have 1 cashier to take the order of over a dozen people, which took at least 20 minutes and then another 20 minuted waiting for the order from the takeout window. I had planned to eat some of my meal there, but after having to wait so long, I had to go. The curried goat is dry and I can get almost double the portion size elsewhere for the less than what Jerk Center charged. Service quality needs significant improvement. Parking can get easily congested. Pros: There is usually a nice ambiance and music playing. There is a decent sized seating area for those that want to dine in. The sides (fries, bammy, rice and peas) are generally ok. Sometimes you do have to specify fresh fries. Servers are generally pleasant.

$3US Or 450 Jamaican for this half of a potatoe that was undercooked also Ordered 1/2 lb jerk pork and 1/4 lb of that was pure fat and bones. Which was also under seasoned...definitely not worth the experience don't waste your time going here

This place needs allot of work. There is no clear direction on what do, should I wait to be seated or take a seat. They take forever to take your order, to cook the food, to give food to you. Fries were cold. Nobody on the line with me seemed satisfied, we were all complaining to each other.

Delicious food, pretty quick service and fair prices. I'd recommend and return. I got jerk chicken and pork, bammy, roti, and festival.

I enjoyed my meal. Festival was soft and tasty. Chicken was great. The atmosphere was laid back, nice music, cool breeze blowing through. Smiling, pleasant staff. When in Ochi make this a must stop. You will enjoy it!

The staff are Pleasant but slow, the over head fan near the cash till should have been on. I requested it but nothing happened. The staff need to talk up and present the menu options. The food is good. The tables are clean. The service needs addressing

I'm 56 years old and have eaten a lot of chicken. With that being said, my family and I got a half pound of pork trimmed and half pound of untrimmed. That was nothing to brag about the sauces that made it good. We also got a whole chicken, and it was the best I have ever had. I didn't even try the sauces on the chicken. Can't wait to go back to have the chicken again, oh, and to see the rest of the island.

Great food & service. I ordered the jerk burger, fried plantain and festival. We also had goat curry, rice and peas and jerk chicken wraps. Loved the spicy sauce here in the yellow bottles.

I had a chance to dine at Ocho Rios Jerk Centre during my vacation in Jamaica, and I was looking forward to tasting their famous jerk pork. However, I was let down by the dish that I received. It was mostly fat and very little meat, and it did not have the spicy and smoky flavor that I expected from jerk pork. It was also tough and dry, and I could not finish it. The only good thing about the place was the atmosphere. It was lively and cozy, and the staff were courteous and attentive. Maybe I should have ordered the chicken instead, as I saw other customers enjoying it. Maybe next time I will give it another try.

Honestly, I came to Jamaica expecting to eat "authentic" Jamaican food, I had better Jerk chicken & rice in Florida! I also ordered a jerk burger & fries, the patty was very thin, and the burger was small for what they charged. Maybe they gave me the tourist portion & price. Wouldn't recommend it.

I'm not capable of selling this place caz there are no words. The ambiance is perfect for a date or group. I sat to the back of the restaurant with a tiny stream in the background, and the Ochie breeze kept me planted in that spot, lol.

The music was great! The atmosphere felt welcoming! Family friendly too. The food, was delicious! And that jerk sauce, oh my goodness yum! The staff were kind and efficient. We enjoyed ourselves!

Food was not bad. A little pricey but everything in Jamaica is now days. Service was very short staffed when we came. We were told even though we wanted to dine in, to wait in the line at the register and order our food carryout, and that we had to find our own table. This was because they were short staffed. The restaurant was kind of busy but mainly due to the fact the service was so slow, not because there was too many people.

Great food here, eventhough we were rushing to the airport I had to stop and grab some chicken from here. This is a must stop when in the area.

This place can be much better if they get it right I purchase 1/4 lbs chicken and a 1/4 lbs pork when I get to the hotel I found two 1/4 lbs chicken there was no pork I turn to the recipe and call the phone number and I am still calling with no answer to the phone I was so disappointed knowing it is a business. No answer from the phone so I will not give this place a 5 star the staff look like they are over work so they do not have that intrest anymore. Bad business. For me a dissatisfied customer. Coming here for the very first time.

Ocho Rios Jerk Centre is one of those places that has become somewhat of a landmark. If you don't really want to deal with the hustle and bustle of main street, you can have a meal or drink in the easy going environment that the location offers. The staff is really courteous, prices are fair and service is generally very good.

Had Jerked Chicken and fried breadfruit and I must say with the added hot sauce it was quite delicious. Be prepared to wait a till especially when crowded for your order to arrive but it will be worth the wait, IMHO. Pricing is not bad considering the location.

Took one hour to Purchase 12 thousand dollars worth of food and after waiting 30 mins they tell us they only have a 1/4 chicken and a half chicken and we ordered 2 and a half whole chicken And they said they don't have the rice and peas!!! What is 10 people doing with 3/4 chicken??

The service is very poor,the chicken is too dry and needs more seasonings,the pork is not tasty either. I would not recommend this place to anyone.There is no one to tell you what to do. Tables are there ,you sit down expecting a waitress to come over,not knowing that you have to go pay for your food first and then give the receipt to the waitress. The whole service need to redo. Definitely not good service.
