Stick with the pastas … those are the best things on the menu and the octopus was really good. Drinks - 9 Pastas -10 Ambiance- 7 need updating (love the rustic feel needs lighting and remodeling) Service - 9.6 I was eating clean and ordered the fish (it was just ok) so I wouldn’t score them down as an Italian restaurant. I also tried the pastas and they were really good.

Food was great and the customer service was great. We opted for the pasta dishes and we were quite pleased. Serving size is perfect (not too little, not too much) and we got our money's worth. My drawback of this restaurant is that the seatings are too close for comfort. It's obvious there is a need for renovations and improvents. If the business does that, please keep the rustic, homey feeling as that's what makes the restaurant stands out. Overall great experience.

Great place about 5 minutes walk outside of the port area. The jamican- Italian take on the dishes was amazing and delicious, not just your typical Italian restaurant. We even got to meet THE Evita! The food was great and the view of Ocho Rios was breathtaking. Absolutely worth it!!

Would give zero if I could. Went there to celebrate my birthday. The night started out amazingly. We had a difficulty finding the place and a memeber of staff offered to walk to us. She was friendly and kind. But then...They didn't visit our table while basically fawning over another table of more touristy looking ppl. We asked for a drink menu. While we waited we ordered the entre. We confirmed the order several times. We took pictures as no one came to our table, the difference to another table behind us was noticeable. They were visited and chatted with by several staff. They had drinks flowing to their table. 20mins, we beckoned to another server again asked for a drink menu. More waiting (I don't mind waiting as we were quietly chatting and enjoying each other's company). The entres were brought out and two orders were wrong. We asked to have them corrected and I told the waiter we really wanted to have some drinks as well. He said "I was gonna bring some menus soon". When he returned with one of the "corrected order" it was still wrong. He had told us there was rice &peas but brought pumpkin rice. We called him over to let him know. He said "I would never tell you about rice and peas cause we don't serve that". We all heard him and I confirmed the rice and peas with him. He gave us 1 drink menu for 5 ppl and stormed off and we could hear him saying "mi did know dah table did ago be trouble from dem cum in". We kind of laughed it off and started eating cause, if you make 2 mistakes, why are you so certain you didn't make a 3rd? I was half was done with my entre when someone else asked another again to order drinks. By this time I was entirely put off and just wanted to get the meal over with and leave. They explained to this other server the issues we were having, she very lightly apologized and took the drink order. I didn't bother ordered anything as I was over it. While putting in the order the lady can be seen telling the gentleman that we complained, and of course he is cursing and visibly upset WHILE MAKING THE DRINKS FOR OUR TABLE. He was arguing to the point of the (I assume owner or manager went over). The lady explained and they were pointing at our table. I felt uncomfortable and actually a little afraid as other staff members were peeping out the kitchen at us. The manager came over and asked what the issue was. She was apologetic in words but extremely condescending. It was clear that her aim was to pacify rather than to correct. There was an air of "what freeness will make you shut up". Bare in mind, we were not speaking loudly nor being rude. I asked her if outside of the mistakes if she thought service standards were met? Being my birthday and I wasn't even given the opportunity to have a drink. She agreed that the wait for food can sometimes be long but that it was counter intuitive to not offer drinks. She talks to the waiter, IN FRONT OF Our line of sight. He is defensive and looks very angry. She came back over and this time seemed more genuine and apologized. She offered to com my meals since it was my birthday and said she hopes the place is given another chance to make a good impression. She tried to convince me to take the birthday desert. I told her 1. I wanted nothing else to eat from clearly angry staff and 2. I don't want everyone singing happy birthday to me when they are the reason my birthday isn't happy. I just want to pay and leave. She said okay she gets it. WE WAIT ANOTHER 20 MINS before the waiter came with the bill and said "the discounted was added to your bill" and left. We searched for where to pay. The "manager" saw this was came running up to us. I guess at this point she could see the lack of service. Honestly I don't know if I can give an unbiased review of the food since the overall experience was so terrible. I would never go back because the way everything was handled. Local guests received a very different standard of service. And the fact that gratuity is already included, doesn't help

Love love love Evita’s. By far my best restaurant to go. I’ve been going for all my birthdays for the past 4years. Recently took my brother there for his birthdays. He loved the lasagna. L

The service here was great! The food was delicious (ready to go back and try more). The view of Ocho Rios was lovely. Thanks to the bartender for a spot-on rum punch! Also we had live entertainment on the night that we went. Good vibes

I loved the view from this place. The service was great and the ambiance was fantastic. They had live music. We had the pasta with sauge and it was very tasty. The desserts were delicious, as well as the cocktails.

It was a wonderful experience. Food was good, staff and live music was great as well. We even got a visit from Evita herself. The place wasn't full and she still met with my family. Shows that she doesn't go around just when the place is full. It's a genuine trait of hers to show love to her guests. I would go back.

This was really a five star dining experience. Evitas is fine dining. The service was impeccable. Let's talk about the view my best friend took me here for my 35th birthday and I missed my husband the entire time. The live music in the background was just nice. If I have to say my old negative was that some of the trees were blocking my view.

Absolutely amazing place! If you are in the Ocho Rios area this is a must visit place. Service is incredible! And the food to die for. Tasteful, the portions are huge so we all got to go boxes.

Well I must say that the quality of food was SoSo the service was really good & the Views were lovely. Personally I won't come back because I just didn't enjoy the meal, it didn't blow my mind. Also I feel like they can upgrade or do a mini Reno because the place feels kinda vintage. Plus I was charged 6,000 just for chicken Alfredo with shrimp & a bottle of wata. O the utensils weren't squeaky clean I had to clean it myself.

I used to adore this place for its exceptional, authentic Italian charm and the flawless execution of their dishes. However, I must admit, it seems to have lost some of its previous allure. The Bolognese used to be a delightful blend of beefiness, richness, and just the right amount of fatty goodness, but it now feels more commercialized in taste, missing the unique character and appeal it once had. Additionally, the organization and variety of dishes on the menu leave something to be desired. 🙁 Praying they can restore it to its former glory one day. Our waiter was amazing tho despite.

The service was good and it had a nice rustic vibe but the food was average. I ordered the chicken spaghetti and it was just ok.

Best food we found in Ocho Rios. Views. Fancy, but not too expensive. $3 mocktails. Really liked spicy lobster “suprema”. Did not like tiramisu. Risotto was overcooked, but I still liked it.

Was surprised the view wasnt as good as people said .. The service was great . However the appetizer we ordered was mozzarella carrozza was ok. Needed more tomato sauce for dipping & wasnt done well. My wife had the tortellini which was fantastic . I had the the fettuccine with seafood which was also very good . Our friends had the lasagna which was ok . Other friend had chicken parm .That was not very good . Looked like a frozen premade breaded chicken breast. Had barely any sauce on it . Compared to all the other great food in Jamaica. This Italian food was very disappointing.

Evita’s is a must if you’re in the Ocho Rios area. It was nice to get away for a night from the typical resort food and have a real meal. This place is a very well known restaurant and has pictures of all the celebrities on the wall who have visited. While it’s a nicer restaurant, it still has a very casual feel to it. It has a beautiful view of Ocho Rios. We were there on a Wednesday night and they had live music by an amazing musician. The food was phenomenal. My friend has a gluten/dairy allergy and has been here several times with no issues at all, so I was excited to try it out as I also have a gluten allergy. They have gluten free pasta and we’re able to make modifications for some of the dairy sauces using coconut milk. I got the Papa’s favorite (gluten free) which came with GF spaghetti, a tomato sauce, Italian sausage and cheese. My friend got a similar dish with shrimp, with no cheese. I also started out with the caprese which was delicious. We did not need a reservation. We also called the restaurant and they provided a free driver to pick us up from our resort and take us to the restaurant and then back home to the resort afterwards.

Disappointed. The pasta was blah (my friend described it as tasting old). The presentation was unbearable, brown pasta with greens all over and way too much sauce. Cheese was served from something- a pan that's more of a corner shop vibe. Literally stray dogs greeted us on the way in, staff said the owner likes them there but how do you allow dogs with flies and balls out to be what greets someone who has come to eat....🤔 Bewildered. It's literally a tiny verandah with a wall filled with pictures of famous people the owner met. The balcony roof needs serious attention, I could throw up looking around, felt like an old house with zinc roof and green yuck. The cheese cake for my birthday was a nightmare. I could not swallow; overly sweet, the wrong base ingredients and a so called strawberry topping that seemed to want to run off the plate. Both food and drink options were unexpectedly limited. The drink was somehow virgin though the menu indicated otherwise and I didn't request no alcohol in it. (Im not a frequent drinker either so I can quickly tell if there is alcohol). The utensils were chipped, off color, and olden in a not good or retro kinda vibe. I'm absolutely grateful that I have experienced Bettino restaurant before this otherwise I would have been turned off pasta and Italian food for life. They didn't even off pizza as a so called famous Italian restaurant, many Jamaican meals with fancy-ish names. Grateful the musician sang me happy birthday and they gave me three scoops of ice cream (kremi brand 😒) and they had a yummy fritters which I ended up eating two servings; one appetizer and one to rid the pasta taste 😩. The view is not a 'view' in my opinion. I was looking out but mostly saw the farm that they were creating nothing spectacular about the business roofs in Ochi town. I am not being harsh, I write reviews rarely but they are for awesome service. This one is just as it is stated, a disappointment
