The stores themselves are all well run and have good service. The outdoor areas were also well prepared. Parking fees are also moderate.

Very successful assembly from a listed former machine factory, the contours of which are partly preserved from the steel structure of the building. In the remaining part of the building there is, among other things, a Rewemarkt and various shops. Above a large meadow with a beautiful playground (also "water features" in summer) you can see architecturally very successful residential buildings. A real asset to the city.

There is a REWE market in the Roland Passage, which is OK. A small shop for newspapers, cigarettes, lottery and DHL, they are always very friendly. A Tedi market, sometimes very useful for all sorts of little things. And I've never been to a fast food restaurant there. The Roland Passage itself is a model of dreariness inside and, unfortunately, often dirty.
