Friendly - very touristic place - one of the places that you will find it on too many advisers lists to visit in Frankfurt - presents the locals production and most of everything is processed by hands as the locals themselves

Sehr abwechslungsreich. Es war auch nicht zu voll. Man konnte sich gut bewegen. Ein ganz besonderes Flair.

Since I was a traveler having a short visit in Frankfurt, I didn't buy something here. However, the place was worth visiting just to see the stunning varieties of sausages, cheese, bread, etc. If you're a food lover and interested in visiting markets and seeing the country's unique groceries, this might be the destination you should consider. It's pretty close to the altstadt and the Frankfurt cathedral.

A place you have to visit when in Frankfurt. A great selection of fruit and vegetables, meat and fish and other specialty stores. There are also a few great restaurants and cafes to choose from.

This place is A-MA-ZING!!!! Make absolutely sure that you visit when you are in Frankfurt, especially if you enjoy good food and produce. This was my second trip, I'd not been back in years since before Covid even. I was glad that it hadn't changed too much. I was visiting with family and didn't intend to get much be got caught up in all the amazing options and stopped at the spice store to pick up a few things. The vendor was super nice and showed me his offerings by letting me taste several new things I'd not had. He even said, "I don't expect you to have to buy I just want you to taste some interesting things" Well I got what I was looking for AND bought more because it was such a fun experience. I wish more people had the same attitude about dealing with customers. The butcher meats are amazing and the produce is great too. I will be stopping by this guy's spice shop on every trip back to Frankfurt.

Definitely reccomend stopping by here for lunch or tapas, if your in the Frankfurt area. It's basically an indoor food market with restaurants upstairs, along with some cafes. Things I saw: Fresh flowers & floral arrangements Fresh produce & fruit Smoothies Espresso & coffee Fresh meats & seafood Cheeses & salamis Wines Olive oils, spices, dips Nuts, dried fruit & chocolates Fresh breads Cookies Sandwiches I ended up with some cut salami, Fresh focaccia, cinnamon roasted almonds, chocolate dipped mangoes & some German cookies.

Great food market to visit in Frankfurt! Lots of different food to explore from sausages, to curries and sushi. This combined with great cocktails and coffees and you have the perfect combination for a lunch. You can buy as well fresh meat, vegetables and bread. Recommended to visit when exploring Frankfurt.

Not a big market, can easily finish walking the entire place within 15 mins. I guess it's more for local to do their marketing, not so much for tourist. Limited ready to eat food options, can you probably have to takeout as there's limited dine in area

This market was very interesting. There are fresh, cooked and fermented food being sold here. Some sellers are great and friendly and some downright rude. I loved going to the stall that sells olives, it had a really wide range of olives and I wish I could try them all, but I didn't because I knew i wasn't gonna buy olive home to Sg so I did not want to take advantage of the sellers' generous offer. Lots of small eateries located at the perimeter of the market hall. On the 2nd level, there are a few cafes selling food which looked and smelled really good. But I had a late breakfast so couldn't try anything there. Overall, Kleinmarkthalle is vibrant and interesting.

Amazing small market, with restaurants, Cafes, snack bars. You also can eat from bakeries, butchers, selection is endless. Coffee was exceptional and fairly cheep.

Cute local market where you can have a bite. I went on a sunny day but I think this is even better when it is cold since it is covered and works both as a market and food court. Good for tourists and locals, an hour of your day will be plenty to do a round trip, get a snack or go for a glass of wine.

Nice market in downtown where I saw a lot of spices and other food to buy. I went pretty late in the afternoon and most of the stores were closed already. Maybe it will have a different vibe for the morning crowd. But food are amazing. There is a second floor of food stalls to try different food. Mainly fruits, meat and spice vendors in the afternoon.

This place is great for tourists as well. It's like a mini international market inside..sometimes the services in some stores are very stressed out😅 can't blame them when it's it too many people. We ate upstairs Italian restaurant with good wine 🍷 . There's nice food almost like street food upstairs..so it's a nice atmosphere 👌

Great market with lots of food options. I went early the first time (9 am) and lots of shops were still opening. 11am onward is best. Second time I went during lunch and it was great.

Fantastic market offering all sorts of fresh food produce and drinks etc. Has a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Great for a wander around and a spot of lunch. Prices of dining in food reflects the fact that it is quite touristy. Worth a visit.

A fun short excursion on food. 30m is probably sufficient. It’s stall after stall of discovery, from freshly baked breads to antipasto,it’s fun to see what’s around the corner. I would highly recommend the Tsironas stall. Arancini and hot focaccia sandwiches and all the antipasto bites… it’s great to grab a small bite or a massive bite whichever you want. The spinach pita - the filo wrap lends a light crunch to the creamy spinach filling, yum! The Pinocchio cheese shop just off the stairs smells amazing… olives, cheeses, salami… you would wish you had saved room to taste them all. Happy eating

Kleinmarkthalle is a large indoor marketplace that offers a diverse range of fresh ingredients. Visitors can browse through numerous stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats, as well as other specialty items. The marketplace also has a selection of butchers selling high-quality meats, making it a great place to stock up on ingredients for home cooking or to enjoy a quick meal on the go. Overall, Kleinmarkthalle is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in exploring Frankfurt's culinary scene and discovering the freshest local ingredients available.

Fresh market with meats, fish, fruits, food… reminiscent of Seattle public market. Fun. Wish we came in before grabbing lunch - there are lots of options here!

Auf jeden Fall ein besonderer Ort mit einer fantastischen Vielfalt. Schade, dass die Preise nicht unbedingt zum Kauf weiterer Produkte motivieren.

This market is amazing, they had an incredible selection of sausage and other amazing food items. It's a great place to find a quick sandwich or other food item rather than sitting down at a restaurant in the busy Romerberg area. A highlight of the city center in Frankfurt.

For me, it seemed not so klein as there were many stalls to buy all sorts of fresh produce. If you're a foodie then you may find yourself lost in here for a while...

I've been to Frankfurt a few times and I can't believe I've never been to this little slice of heaven. So many fresh vegetables, fruits breads, cheeses and meats! A wonderful market to sample local food options. I could have spent all day here shopping. Outside there was a huge party of people gathered in the square enjoying post covid life which was so great. A fun destination!

Wonderful market with high quality fruits, vegetables, meat and poultry. Several specialty shops offer spices and international food and spices. Always a joy to visit and see the very attractive displays and purchase exotic food! Try the Brats!

Similar to covered markets you’d find throughout Italy. Some of the stalls serve prepared food. The spicy frikadelle and potato salad we had were outstanding. Can easily spend an hour or two floating around this place if you like to eat and drink. Very simple to take away food and eat outside if seating or indoor restrictions are issues.

Great experience. If i lived in the area, i would probably get all my groceries here. The produce all look so big and fresh! Prices were picket friendly too. And all the stall owners were very nice. Most of them speak english.

It’s a very big indoor market that sells different types of canned, dried and prepared food to eat there, cakes, dried and fresh meat, fresh flowers and plants. It reminded me of Borough Market in London

Great little market building located in the middle of downtown Frankfurt. Fresh everything at this market from meats to produce to backed goods to chocolates. Fun. Very friendly staff and salespeople. Well laid out stalls/ Good central location. Fair pricing

A very busy market that has everything you could possibly want. The line for a famous Fleischwurst at Frau Schreiber’s was very long, so we didn’t wait. We will certain get one on our next visit!

Must visit when you're in Frankfurt. There's alot of local produce, raw and cooked. Only 4 star for me because of the cold treatment by the bread lady. I guess it because we're asian.

Price is more expensive than usual markets, but very interesting to shop. I always buy meat here cuz it’s fresh and you can find rare part of meat here (like pork tail, beef tongue etc…)

  • 5/5 Fat C. 10 months ago on Google
Located at the heart of Frankfurt city centre. It takes about 15 minutes from Frankfurt Central Station to here. Actually the size of the market is not "small". You can find different varieties of food like German, Italian, Middle East or Asian food. There are also nice restaurants on the 2nd floor. If you like authentic and nice gourmet food, you must not miss this great place!

  • 5/5 TWH F. 11 months ago on Google
An absolute foodie heaven, and a definite "must visit" if you're in Frankfurt! This covered market hall has tens of different stalls packed with fresh food options, including local and imported cheeses, fresh and dried meats, and fresh vegetables, as well as spices and other imported non-perishable groceries. You can also find cute gift ideas, such as scented soaps, loose teas, sweet treats, baked goods, flowers and house plants. And, if you've worked up a thirst shopping at the stalls, you can enjoy a drink at the many stalls inside and out the Kleinmarkthalle, as well as upstairs, in the various little restaurants, which are usually packed, so popular is this venue with Frankfurt locals!
