Retina
Department
Prof.
Dr.
Frank
Cook
Make
an
appointment
at
9:30.
Will
be
sent
to
the
photo
lab
in
an
hour.
After
half
an
hour
they
send
me
back
to
the
retina
department
because
the
note
doesn't
say
what
should
be
photographed.
Now
you
have
to
queue
up
again
in
a
queue
of
6
to
7
newcomers
to
be
able
to
say
that
the
doctor
in
the
photo
lab
can't
do
anything
with
the
note.
Half
an
hour
later
nine
process
slips
and
back
to
the
photo
lab.

lab
There
was
a
note
on
the
wall
telling
me
to
sit
down
and
wait.
In
the
time
until
the
note
is
collected,
another
ten
fellow
patients
arrive.
The
doctor
then
collects
all
the
slips
of
paper,
but
not
according
to
the
order
in
which
the
patients
arrive,
but
randomly.
Those
who
arrive
last
are
then
treated
first.
Waiting
time
1
1/2
hours.
Back
to
the
retina
department
Back
in
line
to
hand
in
slips.
After
2
hours
of
waiting,
examination
by
the
doctor.
She
then
said
that
one
eye
had
to
be
dripped
again
and
sent
me
out
with
the
message
you
will
call
me
again.
Time
12:30
p.m
After
two
hours
of
waiting,
I
dared
to
ask
what
was
going
on
with
the
rest
of
the
examination.
Exactly
one
hour
later,
the
receptionist
tells
me
that
the
dear
professor
wants
to
take
another
look
at
my
eye.
This
was
then
done
at
3
p.m.
The
Prof.
Dr.
Frank
Koch
is
a
very
nice
guy,
but
there
is
no
organization
in
his
department
or
in
the
photo
lab.
I
was
at
the
university
hospital
from
9:00
a.m.
to
3:30
p.m.
for
a
10-minute
follow-up
examination.
Complaints
to
the
professor
were
commented
on
in
such
a
way
that
too
few
posts
were
approved.
No,
Prof.
Koch,
just
take
a
few
hours
to
analyze
the
unorganized
process
and
put
things
right
for
the
benefit
of
your
patients.
Unfortunately,
it
is
not
only
due
to
the
positions.

was
abgelichtet
werden
soll.
Nun
mus
man
sich
wieder
anstellen
in
einer
Schlange
von
6
bis
7
Neuankömmlingen,
um
mitteilen
zu
können,
das
der
Arzt
im
Fotolabor
mit
dem

nichts
anfangen
kann.
Halbe

später
neunen

Fotolabor
An
der
Wand
ein
Zettel
mit
dem
Hinweis
sich
hinzusetzten
und
zu
warten.
In
der
Zeit
bis
der
Zettel
eingesammelt
wird,
kommen
nochmals
so
an
die
Zehn
Mitpatienten.
Der
Arzt
sammelt
dann
alle
Zettel
ein,
aber
nicht
der
Reihenfolge
der
ankommenden
Patienten
entsprechend,
sondern
willkürlich.
Die
zuletzt
kommen
werden
dann
als
erste
behandelt.
Wartezeit
1
1/2
Stunde.
Zurück
zur
Netzthautabteilung
Wieder
anstellen
in
der
Schlange
um
Zettel
abgeben
zu
können.
Nach
2
Stunden
Wartezeit
Untersuchung
bei
der
Ärztin.
Die
meinte
dann
,
daß
das
eine
Auge
nochmals
getropft
werden
mus
und
schickt
mich
raus
mit
der
Mitteilung
Sie
rufe
mich
dann
nochmals
auf.
Uhrzeit

Nach
zwei
Stunden
Wartezeit
habe
ich
mal
gewagt
nachzufragen
was
den
jetzt
sei
mit
dem
Rest
der
Untersuchung.
Genau
eine
Stunde
später
teilt
mit
die
Sprechstundenhilfe
mit,
das
der
liebe
Herr
Professor
nochmals
einen
Blick
auf
meine
Auge
werden
wolle.
Das
wurde
dann
um
15
Uhr
auch
gemacht.
Der
Prof.
Dr.
Frank
Koch
ist
zwar
eine
sehr
netter
Kerl,
aber
in
seiner
Abteilung
und
auch
in
dem
Fotolabor
ist
keinerlei
Organisation
vorhanden.
Ich
war
von
9
Uhr
bis
15
Uhr
30
in
der
Uniklinik
wegen
einer
Nachfolgeuntersuchung
von
10
Minuten.
Beschwerden
beim
Prof.
wurde
so
kommentiert,
das
zu
wenig
Planstellen
genehmigt
werden.
Nein
Herr
Prof.
Koch,
sich
einmal
nur
ein
paar
Stunden
Zeit
nehmen
und
den
unorganisierten
Ablauf
zu
analysieren
und
da
zum
Wohle
Ihrer
Patienten
Abhilfe
schaffen.
Es
liegt
leider
nicht
nur
an
den
Planstellen.
