A stop over for passengers, cars, buses and all vehicles travelling from Lahore to Islamabad , Peshawar and all the itte the other stations on the M1 and M2 Motorways. It boosts of a few restaurants, tea stalls, BBQ grills, mosques, petrol stations, sitting terraces to the comfort of the travellers. Pakistan has some of the best natural scenery and this one among that. Modern motor way running through rugged mountains of Kallar Kahar creating wonderful natural formations which are so delightful to look at. Building the motor way through these difficult mountains is a quite an achievement itself and I take my hat off to the engineers who built it. Motor way service area provided in the top of the Kallar Kahar mountains is a wonderful retreat where travelers can take a break and refresh themselves for the journey ahead.

Stopped here early morning, place was buzzing, nice and clean and you can everything here from coffee to Zinger Burger. You can get almost everything you need in your journey like Chai, coffee, biscuits, chips and other stuff. In case you need proper meal varieties of food chains and bakery is also available. It's a nice place for outing as well, kids really enjoy this place because of its calmness and views. Surrounded by mountains this place has its own charm. So if you are at this place on your own vehicle stop for a bit look around at this beautiful place. Petrol pump and public restroom facility is available too. And they have prayer area as well nice and clean. I am well travelled and and usually service stations in UK and Europe have very limited choice where as in Kallar Kahar Motorway Service offered a wide range of choice and when I was speak to a friend of.mine last night and she recently travelled different parts of Pakistan and she spoke very highly of Motorway 🛣 Service Stations in Pakistan.

Good place to take little rest while driving on M2 motorway. Rates are high which is not a big deal as we all know that it happens at every rest center of motorway. The toilet is clean. The parking slots are also well managed. Overall good experience while traveling to stop here. A beautiful view of rocky mountains increase the dilemma.

The only positive I could find here was the fresh air and mountains around the service area. Service area isn't the best of all the service areas on Motorway, as it lacks big food brands apart from KFC, and it's design is also confusing, as the exit is from the center of the service area, which is different from every other service area design plan. You ll find rest rooms, tuck shops, Desi restaurants here with vast parking area in addition to Fuel Station

Amazing place. Overall Food court, shopping, Rahamt baker's and Mosque are beautiful addition to the spot. It's a trailer to start the Islamabad region.

The most scenic and beautiful rest area on M-2. Right after salt range, you may find Kallar Kahar Lake here. The prices are slightly high but the overall services are very good.

Good place for resting during journey on Lahore to Islamabad. About services, you can find all things here like fast food here, marts and restaurants for lunch and dinner as well. However, be aware about overcharges as here. As Motorway authority has defined the rates of all products but still some of them are overcharging. About toilets, it was also clean and tidy as always. ONE of the edge of this resting area on others that it has beautiful scene of green mountains as well which enhances its beauty and provides pleasure.

While traveling from Lahore to Islamabad dated 14th Aug 2022, I relieved myself, had ilachi tea along with cigarette, environment was good and relaxing... The green lush mountains look awesome

This service area is located in kalar kahar and is serene place for layover. Prices of edibles are always soaring to the sky on all service areas of motorway. The best thing about this one is it gives mesmerising views of lush green mountain range.

A place to stay for 2 to 3 hours. Boating is good experience. 750 for 1 boat trip having 6 persons. Parking is available but U have to leave before late at night. Museum is also a great place to watch
