The unique name of Changa Manga comes from the tale of two robbers who used to loot in the woodly village in old times. It is the largest forest that was planted by hand. Now the village has become a small town with the tourist attraction of wild life park. Its a drive of around 1.5 hour from Lahore and is about 10 km off the main GT road. The route to the park passes through the woods. Park has dozens of lush green spacious grounds where you can play different sports. There are multiple small trenches of water throughout the park where you can have a dip and beat the heat. There is also a crescent shaped lake called the "Mehtabi Jheel" (crescent lake) where you can paddle boat or enjoy motor boat. This lake has surrounded an island which is accessable by the famous suspension bridge. A tram Safari is also available here. The traditional light eatables like gol gappas, chana chart, dahi bhallay etc and the snacks, burgers and cold drinks can be found here. Families usually prefer to bring thier food with them or prepare BBQ in any of the dozens of the grounds. Its an amazing place for picnic with family or friends !!

The government needs to spend funds for the development of this wildlife park to earn revenue from tourism. This park has not been developed for the last 15-20 years. The government needs to add more animals to the zoo. Also need to mention the description of each animal in its cage.

A very good natural visiting point with the world's second largest hand grown forest Of Changa Manga by the British India Government in District Kasur, Punjab Pakistan. It has a lake view and a tram service to visit the forest and a family park.

Just a park with a few swings, an relatively expensive cafeteria, a lake with very dirty water and a train ride of about 5 minutes( max) , which moves only in park but not in the jungle( our main cause for going there) !! And also a jhoola ( moving) bridge which vibrates while walking

This is very important and peaceful place for visitors. Many people are visiting here from different places. This is very old place. Visitors feel better here. The environment is very secure peaceful and quiet. Trips and groups were visiting here for entertainment and refreshments. This is very old place in the history of Pakistan. I love this place

The zoo 🐈🐇🐊🐍🐃🐜🐓🐢🐬🐴🐶🐺 is situated in the center of a very big man made forest 🌲🌲🌳🌳🎋🏡🌳🌴at Changa Manga. In fact the zoo is an added festive source of joy for people who visit the famous lush green forest so close to nature. Mostly people, from nearby cities including Lahore the big cosmopolitan provincial capital of Punjab, tired ☺️ of busy industrial life 😅 flock towards the place for soothing revival of their soul, mind and body through interaction with natural beauty of this tourist place.

I love to visit changa manga

Changa manga is a vast a forest and although the management regarding environmental cleanliness is poor , yet it's a beautiful place to relax and provides a perfect getaway to seclude yourself from the busy city life.

I'm Native of this area (Chhanga Manga). It's a Good area for family picnic , celebrations and entertainment. Its free from all dirty boys and people. City area is away near about 4 KM and health center 3 Aprox. All facilities are available here. If u wants Fast Food there u can also contact them but they charge 200-250 per delivery near the city of Chunian.

Well. The Zoo at Changa Manga Forest Park has not been upgraded or updated with new animals. A few birds and some deer roam in vast cages. The Forest department is just getting paid for doing nothing there.

Y-yeah , if you are expecting high tech rides and a roller coaster then forget it .But if you are looking for a place to enjoy the natural Atmosphere with friends then this is the place for you . It's quite and spacious with greenery all around . Come here with family sit on the green grounds ,cook something with the family, enjoy the boats,have a steam engine ride(which you can also get on and off while it's running ,to run with it and see which of you is faster) and enjoy the old school swings .you won't know what it is untill you see it ,so I would say come and have a look . The foreginers will enjoy this also .

A lovely weekend with the kids in densely planned forest with steam engine train ride and a lovely lake

I have not been to this place yet but I like this largest man-made forest of 19th century which is after the name of two famous bandit brothers Changa and Manga..This forest used to be the world's largest hand-made forest by now it is being sabotaged by the land-grabbing mafias and till now its 60% has been snatched by land mafias. The authorities must take the action at the earliest to preserve the forest as the country is already facing issues like climate change and biodiversity. I will visit this place of Lahore and Kasur districts one-day Inshallah to have a look of nature and will Enjoy this tourist resort of many species and timber......
