I am only giving a 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. This hotel was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Scam artists, liars, disrespectful, and thieves. We walk into the parking lot and the music from inside the hotel was so loud filled with multiple people standing outside the hotel that we weren’t even sure what we were walking into. When approaching the desk the staff was very rude. We accidentally booked a smoking room versus nonsmoking which cost an extra $10 to switch to nonsmoking. We politely said okay no worries we will pay the extra $10. Once paying that amount with our debit card, we were told there was a $40 deposit. No problem, just charge our card, but they only accepted cash and refused to take our card. We thought okay this sketchy, but it was late and I had surgery the next morning. We get to our room and it was absolutely disgusting. The air conditioner vents were not in the unit, the comforter had stains all over, it smelled like onions, the outlets wouldn’t hold our chargers because they were so worn out, and holes in the walls. We called and said we would like a refund which they refused to give. I felt incredibly unsafe, the hall we were placed on was right next to the hall door and it had a hole through it in which anyone could come in and out of the hotel. Then we came back to rest after my surgery and we’re woken up to the housekeeping multiple times even after placing the privacy please sign. Then once falling asleep maintenance knocked on the door and we said we were good. Then we received a call saying we needed to vacate the room while they clean carpets. We left for the time and returned the rugs were soaking wet. We checked out and asked for our deposit in which they refused to give us because “the towels were damaged”. We had spilt tea and cleaned it up with one of the towels and put it in the bathtub. Absolutely the worst place. I WILL never return and this hotel should be considered a motel and shut down. Do not waste your time. I would not doubt how much illegal stuff they have going on behind closed doors.

I set a reservation for 3 nights and the hotel canceled it after 2 and then proceeded to try to charge us a late check-out fee and tried to claim it was MY fault, even though I showed them the Hotels.com reservation AND told them at check-in the exact date we were checking out... They have no cable and horrible antenna signal. The bathroom was small, with very little water pressure in the shower. There were soft spots in our floor (second floor room) which made us weary of walking on them for fear of falling through. Bed was atrocious, it had stains on the blankets and sheets, and was absolutely uncomfortable. We came back to our room on the second day, after fighting with the front desk about letting us back in our room, to find that the ceiling was falling. There was also a spot in the bathroom ceiling that looked like it is about to cave in, and the toilet seat was not properly connected... so you feel like you're going to fall off anytime you use it. The ice machines were ripped out on every floor but the ground floor, but the signs are still up, giving false hope for ice without having to go back downstairs. Their "continental breakfast" and coffee was a joke! Only upside was being able to smoke my medication in my room. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME! I would much rather stay at a place that cares about it's guests and the maintenance of their facility, and smoke my medication outside, then to go through this hell again!

TL:DR Don't make a reservation, you'll lose your money, they don't accept. Not entirely clean and weed smell in smoking and non smoking so if that bugs you, avoid staying here. I would AVOID staying here. The idea is nice for 420 friendly people. My boyfriend made a reservation not thinking anything of it, because online reservations tend to be normal right? Turns out the online reservation site is not even connected to the hotel itself. Upon arriving we were told the reservation wasn't accepted and we had to pay again for a room we didn't even want! And we're now out of luck for a refund. Weed smell doesn't bother me but the rooms were what you'd expect for the location and price, not entirely dirty but not very clean, didn't even wanna sleep in the sheets.

Rooms were spacious and clean, furniture intact. Great water pressure, ac and heat unit worked fine. Beds weren’t the best, but weren’t rock hard. Staff were accommodating, breakfast was hot and fresh which included sausage, toast, and eggs. They make you a plate in a to go box. Grounds were quiet. There is a bar on grounds which plays loud music but the sound is contained to the front area and does not disturb your activity in your room. Not all rooms are smoking. Confirm that prior to accepting the room whether you’d like to smoke or not.

Management is absolutely horrible and rude. The hotel is in horrible shape and is very old, the beds are hard as a rock. We didn't feel safe here but they will NOT ISSUE ANY SORT OF REFUND. 40$ deposit they won't give back they claimed we damaged the air conditioner IT WAS ALREADY BROKEN WHEN WE CAME IN. THERE IS A REASON THIS HOTEL WAS 40$. CAUSE ITS A DUMP AND RAN BY CROOKS. Don't stay here just cause you want to smoke weed. It's totally not worth it at all. The best part was when we saw this place in our rear view mirror.

DO NOT BOOK HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS. If I could give them zero stars I would. Booked this place to sleep after a 15 hour drive and when we showed up we were told there were no rooms available and any reservations made online were void because their “system was down” and I should contact the third party vendor I booked through to get a refund. Currently on the phone with this vendor and they will not answer, so I will not get my refund/be able to book elsewhere.

You get what you pay for. Rented this room for a friend in need he didn't mind the horrible odor of weed but i got migraine just doing the check in. The TV remote never had batteries but housekeeping blame us of stealing them. Breakfast was awful. Oh and deposit is only cash they do not take cards their atm charge and my bank charged fees. Just an awful place

I tried to give this place a chance even tho it had bad ratings. First they gave me a room that was already taken, people's stuff was in there.. then they gave me a room with a broken lock. I was just hoping that wouldn't happen to me. They have a washing machine that takes quarters but they don't give you quarters -__- the pool was closed which was the main reason I booked this hotel. $50 deposit and you can't get that back until 8:30 am so if you like leaving early you can't. The breakfast is small no choices just eggs and sausage and toast. Just book at comfort inn..

The front desk lady was very rude. The toilet was backed up and it took forever to find a plunger. very disappointed in all of the staff the cleaning ladies, the front desk worker and the total overall cleanliness of this hotel. It reeked of marijuana.

Did not get my deposit back over a towel that had make up on it literally could have just threw it in the washer and it would have been white again . I left Highly upset and will be taking legal Action cops were called for no reason but the police officer recommend me to file a lawsuit against the hotel. lady at the desk kept saying talk to the cleaning lady ? I’m confused on why I needed to pursue that if my complaints are with the lady at the front desk honestly feels like a scam and a law suit will be filed . Worst hotel to stay in okc don’t book if you don’t want to be scam people around we’re coming up to me saying they do this all the time there at the hemp hotel .

Stayed here in 2021 during a work trip with my trimming team and it was wonderful. It is VERY difficult to find affordable hotels in OK city that are not infested with cockroaches so this place was an absolute MIRACLE. Their prices are affordable, their rooms are very clean and comfortable, and they have a beautiful smoke lounge/bar right off the lobby. We met the owners when we were there and they're also amazing people and we're incredibly kind, they sell cannabis products such as salves and lipbalms and I will definitely be coming back to try them one day. All in all this was a great experience and I highly recommend the Hemp Hotel

Okay room, picked the hotel because it was cannabis and pet friendly. Left a cash $50 deposit and an extra 60 on the card because we had a cat, when we check out, they refuse to give the deposit back over a small hand towel with a soda stain on it.. meanwhile the room had chipped walls, holes in the blankets and rusty nails used to hold the carpet. Not worth

The king size room had a full size bed. Most things are broken in room or don't work at all. 2nd floor room. Felt like walking down the hallway was even bad week stops in the floor sink in when you do. Place has potential need way more work to get it there.

Don't recommend. They gave away my reservation away and told me that. It's first come first served we I went through a lot for it. I was very upset. The manager said he don't care and anything I'm saying and told me to find another hotel. Not respectful, not caring and not understanding of your needs in any way. I will never trying getting another hotel like this.

Trashy. Place looks like its in disrepair. Room smelled like mold, lots of water damage on the ceiling. One chair had a broken arm, the other had holes in it. No blanket for the bed. Bed hard as a rock. I ended up just driving home instead of staying the night here. Trading all those things just to be able to smoke in the room isn't worth it. Get a nicer hotel and go for a walk to smoke.

Went last weekend for and found blood & urine stains in one of the queen beds. The cleaners tried to say we did it. The desk clerk asked me to email the company with my video, still no reply

I called the company after reading MANY awful reviews. I wanted an assurance that they were clean, courteous and I could use a microwave without losing power, that the light fixtures infact did work... so on, so on.... whomever this Hispanic lady was(didn't even give me the courtesy of her name) informed me I can call one of the many hotels around there location. I said I'm only calling to get reassurance that the previous reviews were taken care of. She insisted they were old and told me to contact a different hotel!!!!! Seriously???!!!. I mean WOWZERSSSS.... I guess she was honest! We are janky and ghetto.... call someone else bc we can't provide decent customer service. Thanks for being KINDA honest.

They are complete liars. Totally just make up rules and policy on the fly. Lie to their customers on the phone and then don't honor the word. Clerk acts like he so much better or higher class then hotel guests. A man you who does not keep is word is the lowest class person possible. That snobby clerk who was a jerk just made a complete full of himself acting as if I some kind of second class citizen

No bed bugs, rooms aren't the nicest, but it's fairly inexpensive

I do not recommend this place at all! They do not have a working restaurant 😒 the rooms stink the bathrooms are gross the floors and walls in the bathroom have holes in them. Not to mention they have roaches the gym is a room with a broken treadmill. They DO NOT have a room with a hot tub and the rooms smell like urine. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and their tv reception is horrible unless you love watching pixalated TV shows. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Love this place said to see that the lounge was closed and the price increase was an unpleasant surprise and not being able to book on line was a little less convenient but over all we love staying when we are in OKC y'all should think about offering a snack bar for those late night munchies

  • 2/5 Patrick B. 1 year ago on Google
All pictures online are extremely misleading. There is no bar, it's been closed down, no Lounge, closed down, no dining anymore. It's exactly what you would expect from a rundown hotel, chipped paint cracked drywall, smelly rooms, noisy neighbors. At least the bed and sheets were clean, no bugs. Being cannabis friendly is not much of a draw for this place.

For anyone who may be confused the hotel that is at this location is no longer named sure stay but instead HEMP hotel. i made the reservation at the last minute under the assumption that this hotel was apart of the best western franchise. Listen to the reviews, the quality is not up to par and i felt uncomfortable the entire time i was here. As a smoker the cannabis friendly aspect of the hotel isn't problematic but the kind of people this hotel will attract may not be the kind of people you'll want to be around. The staff don't seem to care and gave off a weird vibe too. please be careful while deciding where you would like to stay.

I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but decided to take a chance I ended up staying two nights. I myself enjoyed my stay. My room was great clean and everything in it was good. There was a small lamp on the table that I couldn't get to work but that didn't stop a thing. All the staff was nice and friendly. Thanks again Hemp Hotel keep up the good work.I will return...

Room was priced great, friendly staff. We came to OKC to venture out and only needed a place to sleep. Was a little worried after reading previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised. My only issue was not being able to use the pool.

They've got great digs and a fantastic bar scene. Smoke all you want while enjoying their weekly events, game nights, open mics, etc. The staff at the bar was excellent and Sheila was the mvp of friendliness. Will definitely be coming back again and again.
