The bedroom is small, the shared bathroom is small (for 4 rooms!) in a ceiling, but most notably it's VERY noisy. Our room was next to the bathroom and sound insulation is close to non existent. The bed was bad (small, noisy and uncomfortable). The hosts did their best to provide clear instructions for check in, keep the place clean and provide a decent (self service) breakfast but it's just too small, crowded, etc. Wouldn't recommend unless it's really cheaper than a decent hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay! I appreciated all of the attention to detail in making me feel comfortable and welcome! The communication with Dinh was fast and detailed. The room was warm, cozy and clean. The bed and bed linens were clean and warm. There was a little bowl of treats that I enjoyed. The bathroom was clean and the water was very warm. The noise level was respectful and it was easy to park my car on the street. I would definitely recommend staying here! It is also very accessible without a car. I will definitely reserve a room again!

We’re currently staying at this place and all I can say is that is completely worth it! The rooms have smart TVs, a desk with mirror (prefect for makeup) and the kitchen have stuff and food for the guests to use. I’m definitely coming back when it comes to travel to Toronto.

I want to give this place more than 2 stars as the communication and service in the beginning was great. The room was as expected and they were kind enough to let me arrive early to drop off my things. The room was neat and the space appeared clean. Unfortunately it wasn't until after I arrived back after a concert that I found 5-7 very small bugs on two of the pillows. Having never seen bed bugs before I googled it to confirm and it was definitely them. I emailed the host but didn't get a response. I tried to take a photo of one of the bugs but they were so small my camera wouldn't focus. Because it was 1am, I removed the pillows, inspected the rest of the bedding (which appeared all good and the mattress had a casing) and passed out. A day later, I'm covered in welts and so itchy! Again, a quick Google search shows a typical bed bug pattern. I followed all instructions on washing when I got home but I'm terrified I brought them back home with me 😭 Hosts, please do a deep clean of your place! EDIT: I'm not lying and I actually enjoyed your place aside from the bugs. I thought it was a cute room, house, and neighbourhood. I emailed you when I first found the bugs before posting this review and never got a response privately, which is why I then publicly reviewed. Your house is NOT dirty. It just probably gets lots of travellers and these things happen. I'm not mad! In my email I said I'd leave one of the bugs I found on the desk for inspection since they are too small to photograph well. I hope you took a look. I do have photos of all the bug bites I got on my neck and arms though where I reacted horribly. I'm still itchy this week! I can privately send you those photos (time-stamped) if you don't believe me.

Beautiful accommodation with super helpful hosts. 🥰 Their breakfast was absolutely lovely! We were a bit worried about where to park our car, but it turned out we could just park it right in front of the house, no charge. It was a peaceful neighborhood with a big park nearby. We had a great time here!

Very nice place! Clean and cozy, the hosts are quick to respond to any issues, and the amenities are pretty good too. Definitely earned my 5 stars. Also, if you're a commuter public transit is an easy 5-10min walk away.

Love this place! I figured out that it’s much cheaper when you call them directly to book the room. As I compared with the price in Bookings or Airbnb, it’s like 30% cheaper. Lucky! And they had free breakfast! There’re plenty on the shelves, you just have to choose and make the meal by yourself. Comfy bed, peaceful neighborhood. I couldn’t ask for more.

This is my third time coming back to this oasis, beautiful, and the most peaceful BnB place in Toronto. - The check-in and out was very smooth, quick and reliable. Especially very competitive prices in comparison with other providers. I Called & Booked directly with 50% cheaper in prices. On-line book on their website, 30% cheaper vs Booking or Airbnb app. - The services are the best in class, very clean, fresh and tidy room , the beds are so comfy. I also could cook my own breakfast there with provided food such as eggs, breads, butters, jams, instant noodles, coffee and so on in a very well-equipped kitchen. - The special thing I like the most every time staying here is parking, very convenient and hassle-free with free on-street parking in front of the house on very quite and safe roads. - The neighbourhood is friendly and calm, close to so many amenities including library, trails, and park, and public transits. - I highly recommend this peaceful place to whoever looking for a nice stay during your trip in Toronto. - Thanks again, Julia, for providing high quality accommodations, you're a super host I could say. Good location and price but rooms are in below average condition, washroom is very small and showing its age, bed was less than comfortable and you could hear the owner upstairs and other guests way too easily. Also no real breakfast, some bread and eggs that you could cook yourself and then clean up after yourself. Area rug was not vacuumed before we arrived and the bed had sesame seeds and dried rice in it.

Very friendly welcoming host with great location, secured community, various parking lots on the street, and very good value. Very quiet and well equipped. Will recommend to friends and revisit.

Very nice bedroom in the basement of a house. Everything was very clean and I found the bed to be very comfortable. Host was very responsive and you can tell the family who runs this place takes great pride in what they do. Would highly recommend this place!

The rooms are in a basement very close to each other and you can always hear others around you as well as upstairs where the owner lives. The washroom is really small especially as it is shared by 4 rooms. Even before going here I tried to contact the owner for a refund after reading the rightfully bad reviews and my messages were left on read until we had to check in and then they would only offer 50% even after ignoring my messages and calls. Otherwise the room was cozy, a little small but you’re better off staying at a hotel closer to the city as there’s not much around and transit is quite hard.

This place was lovely! The hosts were very gracious and there for anything we needed. The place was clean and the location was close to the city and in a safe neighborhood. Would absolutely stay there again.

It's a low ceiling basement, but not disclosed. Its AirBNB, but not disclosed. 4 bedrooms shared with one bathroom. The toilet space is even small for legs. Priced similar with a 3-star hotel, but way far from it. No breakfast. Maximum one star.
