I decided to give this place a try for the second time because I thought maybe it's just that day and I also wanted to try a dish that looked very good in their menu. However this was not the case. I asked for ribs, instead I got beef slices. But had the beef slices been actually beef I'd be okay. But they were slices of fat!! This is very frustrating. As I paid $12.99 per dish and with tax around $30 something and I essentially got rice and fat slices. The noodles weren't better as there were glossy pieces of fat. The tiny sections of beef you'd needed to chew for hours to be able to swallow. Imagine an udon soup where you cannot chew and swallow the beef. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This is not okay. The images I've shared they're supposedly the same dish lmao. I don't recommend the beef options. I know I won't be coming here anymore. Plus, the photos look nothing like the actual dish.

A fly in the dish:黄焖排骨. Before this happened, Mizu is my favorite. After this happened, I won’t go here anymore. So disgusting. There was no charge for this dish, but the remaining two dishes still cost more than 37 Canadian dollars after discounts. And today I was invited friend, just so embarrassed about Chinese restaurant 🙃. Canadian friend said he feel so uncomfortable too. Maybe I shouldn’t take out the other two dishes back, even I pay for it, but I don’t think I will eat them. Maybe I should throw them directly. If you still want to go, hope this bugs can help you figure out go or not.

Ordered braised pork knuckle. It smelled like rotten eggs. Must have gone bad already. Do not go to this place!!!!!!

Absolutely not worth it. I ordered medium spice, but the flavor is so off and the spice just seems to be synthesized. PS, It is now 3am and I am having a stomachache.

Food was pretty good for the price. The place itself wasn’t as well decorated as its neighbours. Also there was only one waitress handling everything: all the tables, online orders, etc.

Their pickle fish noodle is rlly delicious. They totally nailed the tofu and their portions r huge. My sis doesn’t like how they cook the intestines, its just still a bit smelly to her. Anw she is one the most picky eater I’ve met in my life.

Food was ok. Portion size were pretty big and prices were fair.

Cannot go wrong with any dish. Don't know why the reviews are so low. This is the best place in Waterloo hands down and we keep coming back. Sizzling teppan is amazeballs. Service is great too, yeah. Just good food man.
