The restaurant's design is undoubtedly beautiful, but the culinary experience didn't quite match our expectations for a fine dining establishment. While the dishes were good, we anticipated something more extraordinary given the prices. Our overall experience was just okay. On a positive note, the staff acknowledged our anniversary with a complimentary dessert, a gesture we truly appreciated.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience here. I called ahead to ask about allergies and they made a completely separate menu for me! The manager was SUPER nice, as were all the waitresses on Friday night. We had a group of 17, and while the food took a while, it was well worth the wait. They even had the kitchen staff clean the area so there would be no contamination for my meal and I did not mind waiting a few extra minutes for my meal at all. It was absolutely delicious! I do not think I have been to a restaurant that was so helpful and accommodating for allergies. Thank you so much!

Great restaurant with a beautiful interior. Service was good. The food took some time to come but it was yummy. Only thing I didn't like was that my fries were a little too salty but the steaks were perfectly cooked and the cheese dip was delicious.

We had a friends lunch in a relaxing atmosphere. The staff did not rush us and they looked after our needs. Excellent service. They have a great menus and divided the regular menu into what could be included on the plant menu, a gluten free menu. Well done! We were all happy with our selections. Portions were just right. Not too much or too skinny. I will be a return customer.

The best way to describe this restaurant is that it is an upscale version of a moxies/earls. They got a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Personally, I ordered the VENISON BURGER, THURSTON HOWELL steak, LUG TREAD beer, a coke, and PHYLLO BAKED WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE. I found the venison burger to be tasty. The buns were soft, the ingredients were fresh, and they gave a good amount of fries with the dish. The steak itself was a big flavorless to me however; the sides (especially the mash potatoes), were amazing. The lug tread beer is something I really recommend at this place. Their coke was really water down and had no carbonation. The cheesecake was creamy and not too sweet. The service here was top-notch. They were extremely friendly. They made great recommendations and continuously checked up on us to see how our meals were. I have to give a shout out to our server Nikki. Once I told her my coke was water down and lacked carbonation, she got me a new coke and put soda water to help with the lack of carbonation. I appreciate her effort to help deal with the carbonation issue. They got lots of TVs. The bathrooms are clean. Lots of space to entertain your guest. The ambiance here is great. This is a good spot to bring your friends or your date for a first date or for the big game. I gave this 4 stars only because the steak wasn't that great for the price they charged, and their water down coke. I recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I found this restaurant is better than a lot of big-name restaurants in GTA. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Seating is spacious. Everywhere is clean. The menu has many fusion dishes, which is one of the characters of this restaurant. Staff is very professional and super friendly. They always have a smile on their faces. Food and drink serving in a reasonable time. Food I'd yummy and cooked with quality. The restaurant has a high ceiling and is spacious enough that you do not feel noisy even if it is almost full in the section we were.

Disappointed. My pregnant wife and I decided to go out for a late Sunday night dinner and decided to give wildcraft a try. Staff were very friendly. Our booth table was clean but the floor under was dirty with food pieces We ordered the small duck tacos and the cheese dip. The duck tacos were really awful. Meat didn't taste fresh, too many peanuts that were too strong tasting and and unappealing grilled slices of lemon which was a first for me. For the mains, we order the lamb burger, which apparently the kitchen ran out of; So we instead opted for the regular burger which was ok for a pub quality. The seared scallops risotto pasta was very plain and didn't really go well together. We were debating between the Keg and Wildcraft, but Wildcraft is now more of a pub food and atmosphere rather than upscale restaurant.

Wildcraft has THE BEST TRUFFLE MASHED POTATOES! These mashed potatoes are to die for! I keep coming back to this place for the mashed potatoes. However I wish that they have more options for Mains in Chicken. This place is high-end but it definitely justifies the quality & experience for the place. The staff is very welcoming and the place is spacious. The Restaurant is located in a plaza so there is lots of parking. Definitely try this place out and do try their truffle mashed potatoes!

We had an amazing time at Wildcraft! It was our anniversary and the dessert we got was amazing!! Our server was Taylor and he was awesome, super friendly and gave great service. The drinks were incredible, the strawberry fields cocktail is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had! The food came quick and was amazing, the portions are great. We also tried the plant based chicken wings and they were sooo good!! 10/10 definitely check this place out, great for special occasions or just a fancy date night!

First day with an open patio, how could we resist?! Our server Ben was incredibly attentive and his recommendations absolutely set the tone for our wonderful lunch! From helping navigate the extensive drink menu, his personal recommendations on the apps and mains- we ABSOLUTELY chose those! The food was incredible, we both chose bowls - and we'll definitely be back to try his other enticing suggestions! Thanks again Ben, I hope your managers see this- you were fantastic!

Beef dip and venison burger were top of the line. The venison was infused with herbs (rosemary I think) which combined with the quality toppings was just amazing. And also the kids meals were a hidden gem: veggie starter, practically adult-sized portion of actually tasty food, and a sundae desert for $11! We were actually shocked by how good it was considering it is not aimed to accommodate children, but it sure kept them happy. We were very well looked after as well. Our lunch really went beyond our expectations.

All I have to say is wow. The steak was very juicy, the server was very nice, and the ambience was really nice. The restaurant is gorgeous. I had a great meal, it’s a great spot for a date or to treat yourself with friends or family! Would highly recommend. If you have space for dessert, definitely try the phyllo baked cheesecake. It was scrumptious and unique!

What a great restaurant! The atmosphere and overall look of the place is very welcoming. The staff were super professional and nice! One of the sauces for the wings tasted a little funny to our palate and our server was very accommodating, she gave us a new order of wings with a new sauce that tasted fantastic! And didn't charge us for the other. I also ordered a few drinks and they tasted amazing. Just enough sweet, tart, and booze. Everything food wise tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor! There's a lot of items on the menu I'd like to try so I'll definitely be back. Thanks Wildcraft Grill!

We had a lovely dinner at this gorgeous restaurant. So chill and relaxing. Feel so warm and comfortable with the decors. Staff are so friendly and professional. Foods are super yummy and beautiful. I had mistakenly ordered a wrong dish and the waitress just offered to replaced a right one for free. Price are so reasonable with such high standard of food, services and decorations. Highly recommended for anyone.

Came here for a patio in October with a group of 5 and the service was extremely friendly and on point. The service alone is enough to return but the large portions of food and care for each dish is another big reason to come back. All appetizers (tuscan kale salad, pork belly bao, and artichoke bruschetta) were delicious and had very unique flavours. The 14oz round eye steak was extremely tender and well presented. The steak sandwich dip was a massive portion and I could only finish half after the share of appetizers. I would very much recommend Wildcraft for a casual dining and drinks atmosphere with high-quality food and service. They also have a large drink selection for beers and cocktails and ample patio space with an abundance of heated areas for cooler weather.

Fantastic food and terrific atmosphere. Steaks are always perfectly cooked and appetizers are extremely delicious. I have been coming here for over 10 years and I will keep on returning.

We wanted to go out for Thanksgivings since we were out of town. This was the perfect place. Wide selection of items and menu options for different dietary preferences and they had a special Thanksgivings menu (with turkey and stuffings). The lounge area is great for conversations, wide seating - no loud music.

I came for lunch the other day and enjoyed it. There were no more seats inside when we arrived at around 1PM, so we had the option of sitting in the patio or the bar. We chose the patio, but it wasn’t very enjoyable due to all the bugs, which is not the fault of the restaurant. However, as a result, it was difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. The waitress was very welcoming, but the food did take awhile to come out. I shared the duck tacos with my friend and ordered the chicken supreme, both of which were delicious. The presentation was quite nice as well, and the portion size was even a little too much for me. The total came out to around $45 for me, which was quite pricy in my opinion. Overall, I would recommend.

Everything tasted great, but my mind keeps coming back to the the Beef Carpaccio - raw beef isn't something I get often, and I was enamored by the flavors and textures. The Goat Cheese + Roasted Garlic Dip was awesome and I especially loved the breads that it came with. I also had zero complaints about my Thurston Howell steak. Our only issue was that the risotto in the Seared Sea Scallop + Prawn Risotto was undercooked...twice! The second time much less so than the first, but we were too sheepish to send it back again, so we took it home with us to reheat later. Overall, our servers were very gracious and we had an lovely experience!

I've always has excellent service here! Love the beer choices, too. The food is good--always good--but I feel they do not have many selection on their menu. A bit of a boring menu. Still, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was amazing. Service and food and drinks is outstanding. This was our get together for Moms celebration of life and they treated using we were the only people there. No deta left out, it was beautiful and perfect. Ambiance, parking and accessibility is all top notch as well. The perfect spot.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and we had a lovely experience. Service: Our host Ben was amazing and he made sure we had a memorable night,he also gave us a complimentary anniversary cake. Food: We had the steak au poivre, braised boneless short rib with mashed potatoes and crispy fried calamari, all our meals were very tasty. This is a 10/10 for me. Drinks: I had the wild berry lemonade and i wasn't so thrilled about my drink I'll give it a 6.5/10. Atmosphere: The ambiance was a 10/10 we sat not too far from the fire place Price: The price is also very reasonable

We arrived and there were not many people there. This was our first time. They explained they had all the tables reserved until 845pm. We were offered the patio which looked lovely or the bar which we chose. The bartender that waited on us talked about the three dips for our fries. I have never eaten ketchup in my life but they have their own homemade which I tried and loved. The chipotle was good also. The lady that served us dessert explained that during the weekend a reservation is a good idea. We felt a little underdressed but everyone was super friendly and the food was very tasty.

*Edit* Since my original review we've been back a couple of times and found that some of the portions are pretty small for the price. The beef dip also has a very thick au jus that tastes like strong bullion and isn't very nice. What a lovely experience! Service was quick and friendly. The patio was well shaded and not too noisy (unusual mix of music, though). Everything we had was good. Would recommend the chicken Thai bowl, and the lemon cake parfait. Their cocktails also had nicely balanced flavours. Will definitely go back!

It's the first time visit. The food is above my expectation as these are tasty and well presented. Calamari is so crispy outside but soft inside which my daughter really enjoys. Risotto has very buttery rice. Salmon and pasta are so delicious. I definitely visit again.

This restaurant is really beautiful on the inside! The staff were very nice and the menu looks delicious. Seating was nice as well and the food we ordered was yummy. We were given a complementary dessert for celebrating our anniversary which was very sweet :) Our server was beinf trained but she did a great job!

The burger with cheddar and bacon was good, but extremely dry. I think the main problem was the bun: it was massive, and toasted until it was practically crispy. It really overwhelmed the rest of the ingredients. The fries were great, no issue there. Service was okay; we constantly had water and drink refills, but the food took a long time to come out. Close to a half hour, around lunchtime.

Had a girls' night out to celebrate our friendship of 30 years. Our server was wonderful and had some great energy. She had product knowledge. Great service, and the food was really good with fair price points. My friend is celiac and was confident that the dietary restrictions would not be an issue. The only downfall was it was not as busy as we hoped it would be. But cottage season is in full swing. Thank you for a great experience!!

Had not been here for quite a few years. It was as good as I remembered it to be! The restaurant is chic, dark, and cozy all at the same time. Out waitress was training someone which was great to see. Both young ladies offered suggestions which was great. Our meal was delicious. We tried the plant base burger which was great. The poke was fresh and those chips were very tasty. The desserts were sublime! I recommend making reservations if you go on a weekend evening as it can get busy.

This place has the best food for the price I have possibly ever had. Leaps and bounds above for example The Keg. Everyone I was with thoroughly enjoyed their steaks. Also we got a pita bread with goat cheese dip appetizer which was amazing. (Coming from someone who doesn't even usually like goat cheese). The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere was not at all a problem either. Highly recommend coming here for any special occasion if you're in Waterloo.

Amazing staff. The truffle mashed potatoes were incredible, possibly the best I’ve ever had. The steak wasn’t the best, I got medium and it was well done and dry. Overall would recommend and is a top pick for the KW area.

Excellent. The food quality was exceptional. Sydney did a great job by offering wine tasting before serving wine. Their fries were seasoned well. The sandwich was good. My husband ordered pistachio rigatoni with chicken and he loved it as well. They have an open bar. Very warm feeling. Definitely going back again

Had a great time here once again, probably our tenth time here and maybe best to date. Specific shout out to Justin the GM who gave us some great service and made sure my wife had a great birthday. Great cocktails, great steaks, highly recommend the rib eye. We'll be back for sure.

Food was excellent, really good vegetarian burger which is hard to come by! Our server was so personable and polite and funny, we didnt wait too long for any of the food, and the prices were good. Only thing I can add to improve, the dehydrated garnish on food doesnt add anything to the experience because its not candied so I cant eat it, and the shirley temple just tastes like orange juice, so you need to ask for a little extra of everything to compensate.

*Ordered exclusively off the plant-based menu, dessert was vegetarian* The plant-based menu is defs done well, the nacho cheese chips taste fantastic! We also ordered the bao (wish the bun was a bit more soft and squishy). The dessert was the veg brownie and hazelnut ice cream. Overall, delicious af dinner (and filling!) The staff here is quick to bring our food, accommodating to requests and special occasions, I would come again :)

Fantastic experience. Food was great. The server was amazing and very friendly and super attentive. We ended up sitting in the bar area only because we felt the dining room was a bit crowded in the table for two a bit snug. Other than that everything was outstanding.
