Came here as part of a large group party that rented out the venue. Facility is large with 2 floors, and lots of mixed seating from tables to booths to bar chairs. There is no parking available at the building, but there's parking available at the adjacent Scotiabank Theatre. Food was average quality, but we got to build our own burgers, hot dogs and tacos.

This bar/bowling alley is a dangerous place to be. Their security staff actively harass customers and are creating situations rather then diffusing them. I caution anyone who is considering visiting to look elsewhere. My group witnessed security staff ask another patron repeatedly to hit them. This type of intimidation of customers has no place at bars. In what world is it acceptable for a bouncer to ask a patron to hit them. This type of behavior is ridiculous and a serious safety concern. Additionally, their food is not good at all and their drinks are very overpriced. The Nachos we ordered came with limited condiments and tasted like something that was prepared by a child. I can get over this however as it is hard to please all patrons but what I can't get over is how hostile of an environment the security at this bar creates. I urge you to look at the previous reviews and you will see countless similar incidents of security guards picking fights with customers and acting extremely unprofessionally. My experience certainly corroborated the other reviews.

The best and first class experience we had, our group had a fun time and to see them all relaxing and having fun, especially having to deal with covid working from home and being overworked. I went to the ballroom bowl because it’s was a venue for a conference hang out. I loved the venue on the second floor as it’s spacious and the service provided by the staff was great. There are ping pong tables to play there. Fun!

I am not too sure how this place has reopened. When my group arrived at 4pm Sunday, we were placed in a booth that was clearly not cleaned from the night before as there was food and napkins on the floor as well as under the table. We had ordered nachos (Which are $19) and they came in a takeout container with the least amount of toppings and no cheese? As well as maybe being 10-12 chips. Not worth the amount of money paid to bowl and very disappointed as I used to be a regular customer.

Came here with a few friends to grab a bite to eat. We didn’t reserve a lane in time, so we couldn’t bowl. Instead, we went up stairs after dinner to play some ping pong. Overall, we had a really fun time. Service was attentive and friendly.. the food wasn’t the greatest. The calamari arrived at our table cold and the bruschetta was on this flatbread that wasn’t that tasty. The tacos I got were ok, but I probably wouldn’t get them again. My friends daughter got the steak and it actually looked pretty good.. she really enjoyed it. I definitely return to go bowling.

My friend and I sat at the bar, we ordered drinks and food. Chicken wings is cold, the cocktails does not taste good. The atmosphere is off, doesn’t feel like a bar. More like a restaurant that plays club music. But the waitress is kind and checks on us a couple of times.

Visited here as part of a works doo and we organised a 10 pin bowling session. The ballroom looks great inside, the food was very good and the service from the staff was excellent. There are a number of bowling lanes, pool tables and other amenities. We all had a fantastic time and will definitely come back.

I went in this place 5 times. It usually a nice place, actually O reviewed it before with 5 stars. But these two last times were not this pleasantreally. The waiting list for bowling take more then 3hours, and they said that should be 1,5h. The waitresses are really good. This plate huge plate on my pictures, doesn't exist anymore, sad, it was good for sharable, cames with everything, really good. And up stairs was really empty.

Bowling + dinner for a work party. We ordered Nachos that arrived 40 min into our game and they were cold and cheese was dry. Afterwords we asked for a table for dinner. No menus came and we were not being served. I requested menus. No one came to serve for 20 min. After ordering we waited close to an hour for food to arrive. Some of us needed to wait longer because they forgot some orders. Food quality was poor. I will not be going back here again!

Great place! Ordered Nachos and burger, where both very tasty and great positions. They also had a great Iron Maiden tribute band playing that night which was a nice touch. The atmosphere and energy was great! We will definitely be going back.

Went recently and saw a FANTASTIC band that had the entire club singing along. Decently priced drinks and cool vibe. The band definitely made my experience. There are some cool games to play in the back as well, like air hockey, ping pong, fuseball etc I’ve heard that it takes a while to get into the queue for bowling, so keep that in mind!

Interesting place! I frequent this area often and never knew this was a bowling alley. Came here with colleagues, and had a great time. The service was friendly. Washrooms could have been a bit cleaner. Overall, had a really great time with great people. The cauliflower bites were really good!

I went here with a friend after doing some work in the Toronto area. I really enjoyed it, i had not heard of this place before, but it was neat. Bowling, pool tables, sports bar... good atmosphere. The food was really good, prices weren't too bad, it wasn't too busy while we were there mind you it was very late. The waitress Kate was fantastic, very friendly, never forgot about it us, always made sure we had drinks, you can have a great conversation with her also.

Ballroom is a great concept and makes for a fun afternoon or evening, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. It might be better to narrow the menu and make the dishes high quality than try to offer everything. The poke bowl pictured was super vinegary and mushy. I still recommend it for something different to do indoors but wouldn’t recommend going there super hungry. The booking system could also benefit from an upgrade!

The experience was great! The staff was very supportive and tried to accommodate all the members in the event. The food and drinks were good and so was the bowling.

Great bowling area, great drinks, very friendly service staff but EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional front desk staff (the ones who manage the lane reservations). They kept us waiting almost 90 minutes for a lane for no reason and only when we went and complained to a manager were we immediately provided a lane without any issue. I'm honestly shocked at how bad their front desk staff for lane reservations are. But I'm extremely grateful to the lady manager who listened to us after we were made to wait more than an hour for our lane and who immediately corrected the situation. Apart from the front desk staff, all the service staff and the managers are wonderful, the place is very neat, great crowd, comfortable seating area where they bring the drinks to you and very clean and well managed facilities and bathrooms etc. Would recommend this place BUT just be wary of the front desk staff and if you feel like you are being mistreated, immediately go and talk to the lady manager on the floor and she is extremely nice and professional and will fix the issue ASAP.

We did wait over an hour but the team was on it! our bartender Julio personally checked on our wait times and made us the best margaritas! Ask for anyone from this team and you’ll be treated well! Friendly staff! Came here just for the food and it didn’t disappoint. Whatever you expected of bowling alley bar food, here it is. Fries were okay, mac and cheese was as expected, but the burger was great! Such a cute experience, thinking about coming back for the full experience with bowling and everything!

The place has very good atmosphere and bowling adds to it but the food was mediocre overall. I tried the smash burger and it was very average and my friend tried the chicken nachos and the chicken was very dry. But we enjoyed the game and we had a great time overall.

Tiffany exhibits behavior that raises concerns related to racism and prejudice within the workplace. Experience with her has left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, as she seemed to hold biased beliefs about us having a drink in hand, even when we did not. It raises questions about the appropriateness of her employment in an environment where open and honest communication should prevail. I kindly urge management to address this issue and consider implementing measures to ensure a more inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all community members.

Great atmosphere. The food is subpar. Fun to spend a night there. The bowling is a little overpriced but it's a prime location.

Ballroom has extended their patio into the parking lot and it's awesome! It works on a token system - you buy tokens for $10.50 (inclusive of tax and tip) then use them to buy food and drink. 1 token per drink 2 for food. 4 of us went and 2 ordered food from ballroom themselves which came out quickly and was delicious. Myself and the 4th ordered from their pasta partner SOS. You can order directly from the table and the idea is they deliver it to your table at ballroom. An hour after we ordered our pasta we approached ballroom staff to ask the status, turns out the SOS POS system wasn't working and they hadn't even received our order yet :| I was starving and pretty upset, it would have been nice if there was a way to track the status of orders from SOS or communicate directly with their staff. Anyways ballroom staff were amazing, they apologized and got us free drinks! They definitely turned the night around - thanks to the staff for being awesome :) Ps this patio closes at 11pm but they have partnerships with adjacent restaurants that are open until 2am

I was at the bar for New Year's Eve 2023. The ambiance was not that great. The servers and the mangers who went around were okay but the problem was with some weird bar tenders at the bar. One of them clearly charged 50% more than the menu price. I ordered from him a glass of wine and a Seltzer and he charged me way more than the price which is on their online menu. I had a suspicion and ordered a beer with another lady bar tender but she charged what was on the menu price list. So I would say at the bar some petty theft was going on. Another bar tender who all the time made crazy movements of shaking the cocktails, made a cocktail for some customer, when I ordered the same cocktail he rudely told me that he can't as the cocktail was not on the menu. I assume he wanted me to offer him extra cash on the side, that I didn't. I assume the owner of the facility is not aware of these, as this is bad business. Well, the bar not being crowded means that others already may have had the bad experience there before. I will never go back there again.

I recently had a fantastic time at The Ballroom Bowl! The salmon dish from the chef was absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. The vibe of the place is super chill and laid-back, making it a great spot to unwind and relax on a Friday night. Overall, I highly recommend The Ballroom Bowl for anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable night out in downtown Toronto.

We had our team engagement event recently and it was amazing. Lots of options, pool tables and plenty lanes for bowling, the service was amazing too. Fun times.

A group of us went to ballroom bowl for a work meal recently, I didn’t have super high expectations but actually it was a lot of fun, everything went smoothly, enjoyed the food, the bar has a great vibe and the service was fantastic! …I don’t usually bother with reviews but our server (Chili) was unbelievable, the most friendly and polite server you can imagine. Nothing was too much to ask for and her attitude was so positive, non-stop smiling and a wonderful conversationalist! It may sound cheesy, but she made our afternoon feel really special :) I have already recommended this place to friends and family based on our wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s never been and is considering it as well!

I recently hosted a corporate party (25 guests) at Ballroom. Overall, it was a great success! Everything went smoothly and all guests had a fantastic time. Bowling: A very fun corporate party activity! Very nostalgic and approachable. I was concerned about having 7-8 people per lane (we had 2 lanes) but it actually made it more fun. The pace was roughly one game (10 frames) per hour. Drinks: Can't give a 5 star rating because they were out of Heineken, Guinness (we had a few Guinness-lovers and they were upset), and Creemore Springs. Those are staples and should be stocked for a Friday evening. Food: Pleasantly surprised overall. There were also a number of guests that complemented how the food tasted. The selection is what you would expect at a bar but were done quite well. The chicken/pork sliders were quite tasted. The hummus dip too. Pizzas were underwhelming. Service: Pleasantly surprised as well. We had a private dining space along the last bowling lane which was a fantastic setup. We definitely had our server, Gabbie, on a constant trip to/from the bar, but she more than up for the task. Shout out to the bus boys who delivered the food and kept the area clean throughout the night. Overall, I would host another party here :)

A decent place to party on the weekend. Highly recommend booking bowling a couple of days before you plan to go here. Food is average. Drinks are a tad bit over priced but compensates for the over ambience of this place.

Went on a Friday evening and the place was about to get busy. The bowling was fun. We ordered tap beer and I personally am not a fan. The prices also abit high for me.

So, I was there on Tuesday i guess. it was my first time visiting the restaurant, my friend booked the table for us and i gotta it was one of the best dining experience. Ray was our server and he was super polite, yet confident he knew what he was talking about. He guided us through the entire menu i got a baccon triple cheese which was amazing and got a strawberry hibiscus which was again suggested by Ray himself. In word amazing will definitely be back again. Bowling was fun too. Overall it was super fun.

Had a great time. The place is really cute, has a great vibe and the staff were amazing and friendly (thanks Mariana!). Had the buffalo chicken bites, which were delicious, and we never had to ask for refills. The shoes were clean and the lanes were well maintained. Had a blast - will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Poutine fries with gravy was good. Jerky Mac n cheese has good taste and flavor. Good place to hang out with friends.

Had a great time at the ballroom for a birthday Saturday night! Loved the nachos and drinks. We had two lanes next to each other which was perfect for socializing and a little friendly competition. The service was excellent. My only qualm was that they don’t take evening reservations on the weekend, but Johanna made sure to let us know we could come and put our names on the waitlist and then leave and they would call us.

Walked in on a Friday night and got on the waitlist, but there’s a bar and restaurant upstairs that was a great vibe for drinks and apps before bowling! It didn’t take too long before we got to bowl, and the service from the woman Chili was the best. Super friendly and beyond customer service. Such a fun night out and would love to come back!

Had a work outing there last week, everything was great until we got our food bill - they'd put a bunch of things we did not order that added up to over $750. The server first insisted this is correct, and we had to sit down with her for 15 minutes trying to explain how that didn't add up with what we had ordered. She made a comment at one point that "well one of the tequilas you ordered was a double"... right, that's what drove the bill to that amount... After finally going through every item we ordered with her, and being delayed from our restaurant reservation, the bill turned out to be just over 200$. And even after all that, we were charged "mandatory gratuities". Really unimpressed with the experience

I came here with my mate the other day, just for a beer, ended up buying more rounds and snacks because we were enjoying it so much. Food was fine, drinks good, we liked the music. And big shout out to our amazing waitress Chilly who was super friendly and chatty! We was shocked that she just started, we’ll be back with the boys soon and fingers crossed she’s on duty again. Thanks ballroom! I’d defo recommend:)

First time bowling in years, and we made a good call choosing The Ballroom. The centralized location helped, but the experience was a genuinely good time. Sure, they could have used a better beer selection, but what stood out was the service. Everyone we encountered was courteous, friendly, and fun. They even gave us some additional time for free when we were running low with a few frames left to play on our second game. Particular kudos goes out to Gabby and Anastasia who, although it's all part of the job, did give us the VIP treatment, and made us feel very welcome. It was the sort of good vibe that makes you want to come back to a place, and I would certainly be glad to come back again here.

Loved the ambience and especially the signing :) Food was just fine, due to the busy day I couldn't say much about the service, kudos to the staff for the hardwork and giving us the excellent service :) It was an amazing night spent at The Ballroom

Bowling and billiards.....staff was pleasant in the front but then once we were situated our server disappeared, the whole night. Lol Tables everywhere we went were not clean, drinks n food spills. The plump blond Bartender was kinda rude, all night. She kept giving me my drinks is the smallest glass possible even though I asked for in a tall glass and then filled it with ice 😆 🤣 Hardly any alcohol. Crowd was early to mid 20's crowd, music was subpar, seemed like satellite radio or something. Could just phase it out. Went outside and heard people saying they would never come in. Was strange to hear. Place is Mehhhh....hence the 3 stars.

Love this place! Came here with my friends and I actually felt like our safety was priority to the staff that work here. There was some people that started bothering us and security took care of it a professional manner. The staff and management were very helpful and friendly as well. Highly recommend this place!

The ballroom is great. Bowling, pool tables other games and beer! Fun spot, great vibe and lots to do everyday. It's a playground for adults downtown. Great place to hang after seeing a movie. Recommended when there is live music. I saw Images in Vogue there, and it was like a private concert for me and my friends.

Amazing vibes, great chicken tenders and fries, great prices on drinks considering the area. No cover. Our server V was amazing she really took care of us even though we were a big group of 8. We will definitely be back to have a good time here. Didn’t have time to bowl so we spent most of our time upstairs by the sing along bar and ping pong table. If you’re looking for a cool spot to chill with your friends look no further.

We recently visited as a group, the place provides a good atmosphere for bowling, servers are fantastic and they spend time making sure to get everything right considering the load environment due to people playing the game and such. Food quality was ok, good portions, they didn’t had a couple of drinks on the menu. Will visit again.

It’s an excellent place for company events. I’ve been here several times and the staff always provides great customer service. The food and drinks are excellent too. Will always visit this place for fun.

Have been to this place a couple of times. Great option for group activity or corporate team event. The drinks options were all nice. Foods were good. Convenient location but better dont drive.

We ended up being in town due to a cancelled concert and ended up finding this place. The customer service was amazing and the food was more than we would have expected. Our server Chris/ Curtis was super fun. Highly recommend!

Had a great time here. Went earlier in the afternoon for some bowling with a friend and had a blast. Will Bowl here again. Price is great and glad its so close. I use to have to go 2 hours to Niagara fall to bowl. This is so much better. Nice couches and nice setup. Highly recommend.

Great experience! My friends & I came by on a busy Friday night. Micheline (superstar manager on site) was very accomodating and took care of us. She made sure we were enjoying ourselves from our drinks/ food/ checking out the live band upstairs. She is amazing & would come back for Micheline :)

We just experienced dinning and it was so good. All food items were incredibly delicious and the portion sizes were so good. We were a large group of 20 so we ordered platters and sharable plates and they were so good. That Mac n Cheese is 😘👌

Tuesday night bowling with my group of friends was the best time I've had in a long time. Thank you to our server Karly for being so friendly and attentive. She made our night so fun. Thanks to all staff at Ballroom for being so awesome!! We will be back very soon!
