My room was disgusting when I checked in. Hair in the shower and even in the cupboards. Cups had old coffee in them. Was then “upgraded” to a larger room (because no others were available). Upon settling into this room, I helped myself to a nice cup of brown water out of the tap. The baseboards were covered in stains, hair stuck to the mirror. The manager was extremely rude and accused me of lying. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The quality of house keeping is less than desirable to put it nicely . There was also mold around the windows, some of which didn’t close. Better off to blow your cash on beer and sleep on the sidewalk , you’d wake up just as clean with a better story.

This was my best accommodation in Toronto ever thus far. I give them 6 out of 5 stars. For starters, location is perfect with a walking distance to the University of Toronto, countless restaurants, stores and a metro station. They offer corporate rates, so this was the cheapest reasonable place l could find within the walking distance of the University. Better still, at this price, I had a fully equipped and extremely functional large (ca. 70 square metres) one-bedroom apartment with a very nice view from the 22 floor 😍

Good rooms. Couple of small niggles that, if fixed, would really improve the standard of the rooms. But the one we had was perfectly adequate for us. Probably the thing we would have liked most was a second bathroom or a bathroom in a public space that we could access as, with five of us, we were often fighting over the bathroom!! Other small things were hanging racks in the mud/store room and a second luggage rack for the second room. Don’t pay for breakfast if you have the option. It is offered in a space as big as one of the bedrooms for the entire hotel, meaning it feels very crowded and rushed. We went once, it was not an enjoyable experience. There isn’t a great variety either. There is a cafe nearby that offers good coffee and food. Parking underneath is good, at a price. But beware, there are steps between the garage and the lifts, so drop off heavy things at the front of the hotel before parking. Public transport is close by - about a ten minute walk. There is a good selection of restaurants and cafes in a ten to fifteen minute walk.

We booked at the town inn suites in November through a third party site, which I am keeping in mind while writing this review. First of all, the location was fantastic. walable to downtown and some amazing restaurants as well as close to the subway and bus stations. The location is definitely the biggest selling point to the Town Inn. When we first arrived, we were very impressed with our room given it had a full kitchen, living space and cups/bowls/plates/utensils etc however we were disappointed we were on the third floor as there was construction dust and noise very close to the bedroom window. The bed itself was comfortable, no complaints there. However some of the issues we had included: no house keeping services except for our last day (4th night), garbage bags in the hallway left by the cleaners, a bag of cleaner supplies left in the living space with dirty linens and towels (from another room?). Additionally we purchased breakfast for $11 extra a day and it was really not worth it. Premade pastries and Keurig coffee, both with long lines. Just go to one of the many restaurants nearby for the same/cheaper price. All in all we enjoyed the stay at town inn due to the location. The staff were very friendly as well. We aren't sure if our concerns were because we booked through a third party (although we did phone and ask if they could match the price and book directly with them, and they said "If that's a real price you're seeing online, book it because I'm not matching that.") And whether things like being very low to the ground and not getting room cleanings would have improved. We recognize that these units are also built for long term stay thus it can be rowdy at times and we completely understand that. If I could choose a 3.5 star option, I would. We give the town inn suites another shot if 1) we recieved regular cleaning next time 2) the cost is reasonable (we paid about $250 a night)

I probably should have read the reviews thoroughly prior to booking however I went based off of the photos and the price was fairly right! After reading the reviews I called to ensure that I’d be getting the same room feature in the photos and I was told that would be the case. Upon arriving for check-in the first red flag was not having my room ready. They then gave me the option of two other rooms, one was newly renovated but did not have the kitchenette I initially opted for so without checking the second room I decided to go with it. The room looked nothing like the photos. The only highlight of the room was the bedroom. The tub in the bathroom had a big chip in the bottom, I made sure to take pictures. The walls in the kitchen had sticky residue. The counters were old and had chips all over the finish as well. I was just not impressed. You have to pay additional for the wifi which they’re aware is very slow because they do offer a higher speed for yet another additional cost! I’ve stayed at my fair share of hotels and this is one I’d never recommend.

I spent 3 nights here while visiting friends in Toronto. The location is excellent. Staff/housekeeping were super friendly, helpful, and attentive, even though the hotel was fully booked and very busy. I booked through Expedia, and my check in/check out were a breeze. I cannot speak as to the updated suites because I ended up in an older one (again, hotel was fully booked), but it was totally clean, very spacious, and charming. Also, this place is HUGE and definitely not a cookie-cutter hotel, which added to the charm. I have to admit I had read a couple of the negative reviews and had some trepidations but I really enjoyed my stay, had everything I needed and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a great experience, Town Inn!

Cannot understand how this considered only a 3.6 hotel! BOTH of our rooms were pristine and fresh. Staff were so pleasant, available and accommodating. Location is perfect. Would HIGHLY Recommend staying here AND would definitely stay here again given the opportunity. Thank you for making this stay so perfect for our friends and family. YOU ROCK!!!💜🥰

I am going to say I was very very surprised. The name doesn't do justice but once I can say the elevators are small but the room was fabulous. The inside look like a 1 bedroom apartment. A full kitchen modern appliances, the dining and living room in one was really go. The bathroom was lovely, clean with a rainy shower, the bedroom set was perfect and big to hold 2 full size bed. Let me tell you why I put 4 stars. There is this beautiful balcony that I could not go on because it was close and secondly the empty room behind the door could be used as a powder room just a toilet and face basin with mirror. Please look into Town Inn, your guest who have visit can have them use that powder instead of the maintain bathroom. Overall my stay was great and looking forward for another stay soon. Thank you.

Nice place to stay when you are in Downtown, Toronto. They have different types of rooms and the building is newly renovated(At least the two of the floors I visited). The staffs and inn-keepers are kind and helpful. Covid19 notes: The inn-keepers do not sanitize the hands or the materials in between cleaning the rooms.

The concierge was clearly prejudice, used threatening language and raised his voice at us (four women). Without a doubt -- racist. We checked in, dropped our bags off and left for dinner. As we left the concierge pointed to us and said "that's them". We hadn't even been in the hotel for a half hour. When we returned from dinner, they called and said there had been a multitude of noise complaints and if they had to call again they would tell us to leave. We turned off the tv and whispered to each other but they called again trying to kick us out without real cause. When I challenged them, he raised his voice at me. They had no hand soap or any kind of paper towels in the kitchen. No ice machine or pool access (we chose the hotel partially for access to the pool). Balconies are not weight bearing. Gave us ripped towels. Blood on bedsheets. Smelly bedsheets. Would never come back and would discourage anyone from coming here. Waste of money, the complete lack of hospitality ruined our trip.

They need to put on their website no facilities are available and no ice due to Covid. We were looking forward to the pool and sauna after a long day as it's listed on the website. They need to let people know all the things that are not available that are promised on their web site. Room was very nice and clean. No food or drinks available on-site either.

3/5 is the best possible rating for this place. My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks. It is situated at a good location but the room and the amenities in the room are just average. The room that was given to us had broken/ non functioning appliances, burnt marks and issues with bathroom fixtures. Overall it did not give a very hotel vibe it was more of a budget accommodation vibe. Breakfast is a big disappointment as well- they give croissant and muffins which are mostly stale. They also give fruits and yogurt which is what we had. Would recommend only for very short stays and if you want to be around downtown area.

We stayed here last summer in July for 3 nights. Pros: It was only 2 blocks from subway station and bus stations which was very convenient since we chose public transport to get around Toronto. The price for the location was not bad compared to how expensive actual hotels cost in the area. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to hang clothes in the closet or put suitcases in the corner or in the living room. The front desk was able to exchange our currency when needed for US to CAN. The staff were super friendly for the most part and easily accommodated us with extra towels when asked and room service cleaning was wonderful. We received free slippers (cheap but useful). The room had a balcony view even though the door was locked for safety reasons. The AC worked really well and they had a vent through the wall into the bedroom. The kitchen had a dishwasher, full fridge and dishes/cutlery available. The TV was very large and couch was comfortable, but we couldn’t figure out the channels with the remote. Cons: The bathroom was very small, the shower did not drain fully because the tiles were not level so you showered in a puddle, there was no vent for the condensation in the bathroom so it got steamy very fast. The breakfast was in a tiny room and there were more people than seats, they ran out of food quickly and it was just cold croissants mostly or a place to toast some bread. Don't count on the breakfast, find somewhere local nearby to eat instead. The kitchen island literally moved on us when my husband went to lean on it, the whole mini apartment is like a bad “flipped house” in that way. The shade in the bedroom window did little to block the sunshine in the morning or the city lights at night, bring a sleeping mask if you’re sensitive to light. The laundry room is not ADA accessible at all, you have to take the tiny elevator down and then walk down a couple of steep stairs to a small room with two washers and two dryers. There was no pool available but we passed a pool entrance door, which was odd. The elevators were tiny, maybe 4-5 people could fit without luggage. One was out of order most of the time and wait time was long in mornings to get downstairs between the two.

Stayed in the hotel while on a business/pleasure trip to Toronto. The hotel facilities were well maintained and hygienic. The hotel’s location was excellent. Rajvee at the reception was extremely helpful & polite , going out of her way to guide us. The only shortcoming was the minimalist breakfast spread. The upside to that was the pantry’s cleanliness. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Location, PERFECT! Close to restaurants, pubs, shopping and subway. As for the hotel, they’ve tried for update it but still needs a lot of work. They have updated the kitchen space, bathroom vanity, and bedroom side tables but the rest is dated. They’ve locked the doors for the patios as they aren’t safe to use (that’s what they advised me). The main hotel room door slams when you shut it. The bathroom receptacle was black so looks like it was unsafe to use but was advised it was. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could feel the springs and a bar. The hotel did offer to have us try another room but we had a busy schedule so didn’t have time during the day to change it. They were accommodating and brought extra blankets and duvets to try to make it more comfortable. The cleaning and maintenance staff were friendly and lovely however it was hard to crack a smile with the front reception and were rude when they answered my first request for a baking sheet as our room didn’t have one. They didn’t bring one but waited till the next day to request one again. There’s great reviews for this hotel and I understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For the price in Toronto, it’s a decent place but if you’re more particular about a more modern space, pay extra somewhere else.

Very good location in downtown Toronto. We were convenient to the Port of Ontario for our cruise. Eateries were within walking distance. Seating for breakfast was not good. Room was spacious with a kitchen area. Would recommend!

We stayed at the Town Inn while needing to attend medical appointments downtown. The kindness of all the staff from the person who initially took my reservation, to every person I encountered at the front desk and housekeeping staff have shown kindness above and beyond what I have ever experienced at a hotel. This is made a very difficult time for us much less stressful. Additionally, the room we are staying in is beautiful, so calming and peaceful in the chosen decor. I will definitely stay here again when we have future appointments and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Book your stay here now!! Thank you so much to Rajvee and Nikki for making me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and throughout my stay. Rajvee even upgraded my room to a beautiful suite on a high floor with a full kitchen. I am so grateful and would stay again and again. This hotel maintains a class and charm in its customer service that I did not feel even in the 4-5 star Hyatt Place in Montreal, for example. My stay was flawless and affordable despite it being high season and Pride week (great accessibility to the gay area of town with great bars and restaurants). They even allowed me a late check out. This hotel is just a rare hidden gem nowadays with so many chains forgetting their kindness— this hotel was the exception. Looking for a central location with kind staff and a beautiful room? Look no further. Stay here. Thank you to all the staff!

3-3.5 stars. the hotel itself is well located and renovated, but breakfast is poor Pros +location: just next to subway (6min on foot) and many bars/restaurants. +Secured area +soundproofing: could be better, we did hear other guests coming and leaving because doors clacked loudly +staff: very friendly, eager to help. +bed and pillows: very comfortable! +shower: very spacious, toiletries provided. +hairdryer: not that powerful, was ok +own kitchen: we did not use it, all basic cutlery and pans are there, but no oils or salt, bar to cook, needed to buy all this Cons - Breakfast: small space with very limited places for the number of guests..oh have to take your breakfast to the room..breakfast options every day are the same (croissants, small muffins, butter, jam, banana, apple, coffee, tea (from machine, not any boiled water), orange juice. - Dirty floor…everywhere in the room..you can’t walk a few steps in white socks - they’ve become completely grey..

The rooms are spacious, clean and well sanitized. We travelled with our dog and had no issues, we found many places that he could do he business outside. Staff are very nice and are always available to help no matter the time of day. Valet parking was well worth the price for the convenience.

We have just returned to the UK after spending the last 2 nights of our holiday. This hotel is a great find. Our apartment was spacious, clean and modern. Compared to prices further downtown, this was great value, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Whilst the breakfast had little choice, it was what we had expected, and was fresh and plentiful. The breakfast room ia really too small, but ion the second morning, I took things up to our apartment which worked out well. My only small criticism of the room was the walk in shower. You cannot turn the shower on without getting in, and getting a blast of cold water until it warms up. The location is probably not the best in Toronto, but it was easy to get to, and we had good meals close by. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel met my expectations and more! Admittedly, I was a bit concerned after reading recent reviews but was thrilled to see that most of them were way off in terms of what I was excepting. Check in was super fast! The front desk came right up to me as I was standing in line and took me over to the reservations desk and was checked in with minutes! Such wonderful wonderful service! Parking is right on site and very cost effective for right downtown Toronto. 35$ a night. Once we got to our room, that was it for me! The room was gorgeous! Exactly like the photos on the site! Exceeded all my expectations -100%. All in all, the staff were amazing and rooms were exceptional!!! I'll definitely be back!!!!

The place is poor and run down. Peeling wallpaper, leaking toilet that didn't flush properly. Floor was uneven. The entire room was so slapdash in construction. Whomever did the construction did a poor job. It's only saving grace is the staff. There was no real view from the room even on higher floor. Not a good stay. Update: Stef at hotel said I didn't bring these problems to attention of staff, peeling wallpaper is very noticeable, a floor that is warped is very noticeable, and yes I told staff about the leaking toilet. Maintenance came and said, I can't do anything about it, I am off duty in 5 minutes. He returned with a towel to soak up the puddle and said someone will return in the morning to fix. No one came in the morning.

Our room was nice, kitchen bathroom bedroom and towels are clean and kitchen utensils were there as well. Sometimes we have to ask to clean our room or ask for blankets or get from reception extra dish washer capsules, because cleaning lady forgot, but except of that our stay here was very pleasant. We had everything we need, and location is rocket, all supermarkets and restaurants are very near. Price / quality = nice! Thank you :) we will definitely visit again.

Unfortunately we were given a room that someone was already staying in. Staff were good and rectified this quickly. Through no fault of their own they are doing construction around the hotel so very annoying loud noise till 6pm and started again at 7am the next morning. We did not sleep well as you cannot regulate your own heat in the room and we were in the top floor. We were way too hot despite windows being opened. The room is okay but lots of poor quality fix it jobs quite noticeable. It’s amazing that $250.00/ night doesn’t get you much in Toronto anymore. Next time we will she’ll out more so we can get a good night sleep. At least parking was included and we declined the complimentary breakfast.

At first sight the room was fine and what we expected. Then I noticed the pillow cases were soiled which through us off. They brought us clean ones immediately but that made me question the cleanliness of the room. The bed skirt also needs a good wash. Furthermore there are some very outdated factors such as not having any usb plug ins anywhere in the room. Breakfast (included) came along (one of the reasons I chose this hotel over a 40$ more expensive one) and it was the saddest continental breakfast I have ever seen. They ran out of croissants and whatever bread they had (8:30am) and only had 2 muffins left and bananas and apples. I complaint to the staff and they mentioned there was no more. The location and view were fine but I would absolutely not recommend anyone to stay here unless it’s for an extended stay where you plan to make use of the kitchenette and washer/dryer.

The hotel is centrally located. It is pretty easily accessible from the nearby subway station. It is located in Toronto’s hipster area full of nice bars and restaurants. A huge supermarket is situated within a walking distance from it too. Since it has suites in its offer, the space one pays for is quite impressive. I had a fully equipped kitchen and a living room at my disposal. Interestingly, there was also quite a big balcony, yet its door was locked. I stayed in the room no. 1201, and what struck me in it was its cleanliness. I loved the huge and clean bed I had. The bathroom too was spotless. The amenities were just about enough for my two nights stay. If returning to Toronto for a weekend, I would stay there again without hesitation esp. given the fact that this hotel has been one of the less expensive options.

Decent service, comfortable bed and good price for the location, but the room we were in (and surely many of not all others) was quite run down (flooring, paint job, cabinetry sagging). The hallways and elevators are also claustrophobic, and that's a feature that won't be fixed through room updates.

The AC keeps shutting down and makes the heat unbearable. The rooms and space is good. The suite i was in is almost like a one bedroom apartment. They keep balconies locked so u will suffocate half the time because no matter how many times u complain and however many times they send people over to check the ac will shutdown every hour or so

Check in was an absolute nightmare. The guest service agent that checked me in took one phone call and made two others during the check in. Parking was an underground lot that was under construction, so there was one lane in and out, and the vehicles parked down there were covered in dirt and dust when we pulled in. We then had to haul our wheeled luggage up two flights of stairs to get to the elevators (good luck to anyone with a handicap). After waiting several minutes for the elevator, which fit 2 staff and two guests, we arrived at a room that was not as described when booked. I will never stay at this hotel again. If I hadn't prepaid, I would leave and find something else immediately. 0/10. Do not stay here.

The hotel apartment is in a fantastic location and close to everything you need. Staff are amazing. I want to say Thank You to all the staff to make my stay a welcome one. Sincerely. SIR ROBERT PERE NOEL ROBERTSON.

Well where to start. First off the room I booked was not the room they gave us.. It was the 21 floor which is stupid. The room was too small and not begin enough for to pp... So they fixed the problem and gave another room which was great. The parking garage was dangerous for it was under construction and I didn't feel safe driving under the door also my card never worked to go into the garage and when I got locked out of it after last night from returning for a play the door was locked and I had to wait 15 minutes for the door to be opened. The locatuon was not a friendly place. Unless u know the city u need to drive everywhere. It had been 20 years since I have stayed in the city and I was excited and the hotel looked like it would be perfect well I was wrong it looked like a dump. I wouldn't stay here. They don't even offer good breakfast and they also like to. Lose reservations... Don't stay here. It's not safe

Check-in was quick. 100 dollar deposit. The room was enormous and had a nice living area. The hotel is pretty strict on not having any parties and quiet time after 9pm. Bathroom and bedroom felt clean. Front desk was quick to help us with additional toilet paper and blankets.

Very reasonable hotel. The location is pretty much central. We felt very safe staying here. The room was huge with 2 bedrooms and full kitchen/ dining area. Very modern finishes. You can tell it's an older building, but it's very well kept and clean. Don't desk staff were very friendly. The breakfast wasn't the best and it ends abruptly at 9am. Should be a little later on the weekends. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a queen bedroom that we found then booked on Expedia. We chose to stay here to celebrate downtown for a birthday with a couple friends that also stayed in this Inn as well. The photos look the same as advertised. The staff especially the front desk and the concierge throughout my check-in and check out experience were friendly, kind and helpful. Especially, when we had called them up to our floor to assist us because something had happened with another guest from another room. The concierge on that night were understanding about the issue and thankfully did address our issue, in addition to encourage us if it happens again to let them know. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend stay or a short trip.

Pros: good sized suites and good location. Cons: the included breakfast was pretty basic. There were few fruits out and the bananas were all unripe. The room was fine in terms of cleanliness, but the walls and bathroom floors weren't very clean. Parking was $36+ tax which was a bit steep when there was nearby cheaper parking. It was annoying because the clearance was low and I had to remove my roof rack to be able to park. You would think that for hotel suites in a city like Toronto, you would expect that they would get tourists with car racks on the top. Please consider this, Town Inn.

We paid for a suite with a queen . It says newly rennovated. No idea where! Poorly kept. No coverings for the duvet,See pictures. Will not be back. Breakfast room is tiny so couldn't get the complimentary continental that is thrown in. Our room was in the penthouse( joke!l next to the weight room!! All we heard whilst in the room was the banging and clanging from weights being dropped. Also they do not mention is that around 5.30 am they have a building site right over the road. Don't expect to sleep! Don't expect much from this place. HOWEVER. The area is pleasant and friendly!1st holiday in a long time. Glad we spent minimal time in the room.

The staff were friendly. We had an issue with no water in our shower. Maintenance was unable to fix so they very quickly switched our room which was greatly appreciated. I have no issue with the staff. I enjoyed the amenities of the suite as it included a kitchen. I was disappointed that there weren't any curtains, only blinds that didn't keep the sun out in the morning. The mattress was also uncomfortable. The location was great.

It's been a few years since I've stayed here and they have done some pretty impressive updates to rooms. Rooms are very modern but the sound on the TV seemed a little off. Whenever the A/C or the heat came on, it kind of drowned out the TV sound a bit. One of my issues with the hotel in the past was elevator wait times and it seems to have continued to be slow at peak times. I can imagine that Pride weekend would be an absolute nightmare for elevator waits. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Windows would not open to allow fresh air in which ended up being ok since the weather did turn chilly while there. Overall, some great updates to this place.

Booked online as well as called in to confirm. Only until my party arrived were we informed that people under 21, although over 18, could not check-in and were only able to book a reservation. This needs to be shown on a website or represented somewhere so that people aren't left without a place to stay on their trip. They were also no help with this issue and offered no solution.

Caution to the wind, you may have some form of skin disease after using the bathrooms and sleeping in the beds but the location is great! This was quite the experience and after two different rooms in similar states, I do not think worth nearly $300 a night. The bathroom ceiling was literally dripping on us, after seeing they were beautifully painted by other guests bodily fluids, it was even more welcoming. The shower heads were infected with a lovely pink bacteria that I could only imagine would be a wondrous time later. The setting is a mini apartment and comes with appliances, I unfortunately did not get photos of the state however you will not be enticed to use them for your personal meals. There is a restaurant located somewhere in the building, unsure of the connection or condition as I did not stay long enough to find out and there are cheaper food options with again, a great location!

Had a great stay here. Staff always helpful and responsive. The room has everything you need and the bed is super comfy. Only challenge was breakfast which is in the smallest room for the capacity of the hotel. Food ran out on 2 occasions.

Catfish hotel. Pictures are a lie. This place is absolutely disgusting and filthy. Mold on the walls, floors leave your feet black with dirt, you could leave your hand print in the dust on the counters, balcony door wouldn’t open, windows couldn’t open, the air stopped work, the hot water didn’t work- they did fix this but the bath was so disgusting that we couldn’t bathe the 4 month old either way. We didn’t want to complain but the BUGS on the bed was the limit. When we did complain and show pictures of this they refused to offer any compensation. Learn from us don’t stay here.

Rooms on this hotels are simply wonderful. Some comments, hotel should set front door control at night. many construction on the area but not impacting hotel. I strongly reccomend and sponsor it if I ever go back Toronto

I think there was a big sport games on as we found it hard to book anywhere at a reasonable price so, as our time was very limited we paid the price for a suite, the only room left. There was ample parking in the underground garage for which you pay 35 dollars plus tax a night. continental breakfast was chaos both mornings with seating for about 15-20 person's. I think the fact that the time of breakfast was 7:30 to 9 meant that so many of the hotel guests turned up at the last minute. Most of us were on holiday, not needing to rush off for work

We booked this hotel through a Travelzoo deal, for a rate that included breakfast and parking. From what I could tell, it was fairly close to the regular direct rate, but parking was included. The hotel is conveniently located by the Subway, but is a little far if you plan to do a lot on foot in the area around Union station/theatres/etc. The folks at the check-in were very nice, they checked us in when we arrived late. They require a credit card for an additional deposit upon arrival. I had guaranteed with a credit card before checkin, but they would not allow me to change the card for payment which was odd, but it may have been due to the fact we checked in after midnight. Our room was fairly basic, we were in a one bedroom suite 1103. It's not luxurious by any means, you can clearly tell that it was once apartments that were converted into hotel rooms. Our suite had two double beds, a bathroom, a living area with a kitchen table (the table was old and worn, I would suggest replacing), and a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. There's no hooks in the bathroom at all. No where to hang your towels. Please install hooks!! The breakfast area is quite small and crowded. The croissants were good, but trying to get coffee could be a little harrowing, as the place to get cream and milk was quite small and people were jostling and trying to fill their own cups. There is a keurig and some coffee pods up in the room, so we were just taking our breakfast and some milk or cream to go and heading back up to the room to eat there. All in all this is a good price and an ok value. I would consider staying here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

A tree fell on my house and the most stressful part of the experience was getting into this hotel that my friend booked me. I had the same experience as Brendan Green. Nowhere on the site that we booked on or on their site lead to me to expect to have the credit card on hand - we entered all the details online. It was one mishap after the next and checking in took TWO HOURS. I had a panic attack and was outside sobbing. The whole experience was absolutely horrendous staff was completely unhelpful, uninterested, and cold - including the manager. I wanted to walk away while the staff were all over the place - one picking up my task and then leaving it with another, misplacing ID etc. When I finally got into the room I didn’t even want to stay, it was absolutely ridiculous. Every single sheet of contact paper was peeling off the walls, cracks and water damage. The duvet was stained and ripped and WITHOUT EVEN A COVER. I know this was booked last minute - for an emergency - but it was no where CLOSE to the 500$ a night price tag. Absolutely abysmal experience I would never stay here again and never recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly, very clean and covid safe. We had a great suite. Fantastic location for Toronto exploring. Super eating places near by.

Really nice rooms. Felt like a Toronto condo. Can’t go out onto the balcony though

Racist night time concierge. Most morning and night staff I met are all friendly. Today I met a concierge I have never seen and was treated with racist reponse. He was not wearing an uniform so maybe he is the night shift manager.

Do not stay here! They case their guests. Some balconies are allowed and some are not. That’s how they get you! Stay at the holiday inn, it’s just down the street!

After reading all those negative reviews, I was quite anxious about this hotel because I had already booked and it was non refundable . But after I actually saw the hotel I was so surprised of why some people rated this hotel so low. I found it very convenient, clean, fully renovated and nice. See my photos!

Good value for money. Central. Very spacious, comfortable bed. Staff very friendly, efficient and attentive. I'll definitely use it again. Practic and convenientl. Not for someone seeking luxury. 4 stars because the place still need some maintenance here and there, but nothing that would make the stay unpleasant.

Very fun spot in the city (a little gritty, but that’s part of the charm). Beds were comfy, kitchen was modern and well stocked. Elevators and hallways could do with an update but the rooms are above average. The bathroom is quite small for the number of people that can be accommodated and there could be more seating in the living areas but we were comfortable. Parking is expensive but I have no idea how it compares to other parking options in the area as we were able to walk everywhere we needed to from this location. I would stay again :)

Another great stay ! Clean rooms and friendly staff. My room didn't have any towel racks but that is my only issue. Great view from room 2405. I definitely will be staying again. The room had a kitchen which was convenient for snacks and cold drinks

Location and service were top notch. The room however was nothing like the picture. Kitchen was nice but the windows didn't open, the balcony door was locked, the bathroom was awful and the AC wasn't blowing cold at all.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you definitely won't regret it. AC in the rooms, complimentary shower slippers, free morning breakfast (the room does get very crowded but has great orange juice). Suites could be better if they added more towels because more people tend to book the suites which means more people showering... great experience overall

I get we were staying in an older suite. Maybe it was noted when I booked it? Not sure. It wouldn't have been terrible if the heating was better. It kept going from freezing to scorching. I didn't bring it to the attention of the front desk however. Also parts of the room you could tell haven't been cleaned in quite a long time. Pros: Staff & Security Neutral: -continental breakfast was exactly what one should expect but mornings were awkward squeezing by other guests. -location was decently close to the subway -construction sounds were noticeable but not terrible Cons: -dirty-ish room. Main areas were clean but there was mold behind the toilet and on ceiling and dirty floors underneath some areas in the kitchen. Bathtubs were not spotless -1 bed good enough to sleep on one felt like a boxed spring. -heat was all or nothing the difference between 69 and 70 degrees were astounding. A roomy place to stay and a great value

Very nice room and house keeping comes every day for cleaning and the lady is very helpful. The executives on the reception are also knowledgeable and supportive. They even guide you if you face trouble going around the city. Breakfast is good but lacks variety. Overall a good stay definitely recommended.

(We’re not from Canada) We arrived early morning but they were kind enough to provide us a clean and comfortable room hours before our check in. The room was technically a one bedroom apartment with a balcony BUT balconies are closed during winter so it was unfortunate we did not get to try the balcony. The room also came with a full kitchen, stove, microwave, oven, sink, utensils, cooking pans, etc. The hotel also offered pastries and drinks (coffee, juice) for breakfast. The location is close to downtown and public transportation. This hotel is family-friendly, I consider booking with them again.

Being here I completely forgot it was a hotel. I felt like I was in a one bedroom condo. It was very spacious and clean. The front desk people were super lovely and answered all of our questions. A really great place to host for a birthday or special get together. It's downtown and close to many things. The only thing that would have been better is access to the balcony, it was locked.

My daughter stayed here as it was close to an event she was attending plus it was advertised as newly renovated suites. The pictures online show newly decorated modern rooms. This was definitely not the case. The advertising is misleading. Perhaps there may be some modern renovated rooms but this old parquet room was more like a bachelor pad with basic furniture with a updated kitchen , the unit was not cleaned properly. The air conditioner was not working either. At night the area was kind of sketchy . The price you pay doesn't match up for the quality you get.

Great location (short walking distance to Yonge and Blood subway) with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Continental breakfast(croissants, muffins, yogurt, some fruit, coffee, tea) is adequate. Breakfast area is clean with comfortable seating. I think this hotel used to be an apartment building, now renovated with individual suites. The suites are well equipped, even with washer and dryer! The main reason why I can't give it five stars is : there is no business centre (no computer or printer for guest use) Although the front desk says I can send them a link for documents to be printed, I ended up going to the Toronto Public Library in the neighborhood for my needs. It would also be helpful to provide guests with a brief note explaining what services are available(such as, where the gym is located, is there a pool? ) and some local info for visitors to the city. Just a final note: some minor renovations might still be needed. I have posted a picture of part of the ceiling. All in all, it has been a pleasant stay.

For the price, you get what you get and it's pretty good. The rooms will be a little outdated - looks well used, kitchen sink doesn't exactly stay on, the lights flicker - but the main thing like the bed and washroom are clean. The service surprised me as everyone there was welcoming and willing to help with any questions you may have. They seem to enjoy doing their job. The location is perfect as well, with easy access to the subway. There are many restaurants within walking distance as well. Would recommend staying at this hotel!

INCREDIBLE. Stayed here for 5 nights. Staff are LOVELY and useful. Room is apartment-sized. 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Beds comfy and always clean and everything smelt nice. Only downsides are you cannot go onto the balcony (which is understandable) and the small breakfast options. (However it is okay as you can bring back to your room) Staff always happy to help, book cabs. Close to food hotspots and the subway. Easy to get to from the airport.
