Came here twice with my partner, each for the late Saturday night show. There is ample seating, but it does get busy so be sure to get there at least half hour before the show starts. Paid street parking is available, but it's also easily accessible by TTC (Eglinton station). The stand-up comedians are generally pretty good, good amount of crowd work. They serve your typical bar food and drinks here, nothing special. The drinks took a long time to arrive, at least 10-15 minutes. This is mainly due to the fact that they only had 3 servers for an audience of roughly 100 people. At our last visit I ordered two glasses of hot water (I was having an upset stomach and didn't want to make it worse), which we were charged $7.50 for! When I brought it up to our waitress, she said it was customary to charge for water with a garnish. I was not aware of this, and wished that she had let us know when we ordered our drinks.

This is a gym in Toronto. Show was so much fun, comedians although they change, we had so much fun. Food was good too.

The show was hilarious, food was actually surprisingly good. Staff were really nice! Didn’t expect to have such a great night but highly recommend :)

We went for date night and they sat us right up front! It was great, we got to interact with the comics, laughed our pants off and really had a great night. The staff are friendly and do a great job of making the show run smoothly. Tickets were $20 each, which was basically nothing compared to the quality of comedy. We'll be back and we'll bring friends!

Always a great time at Absolute Comedy. Went here with a group of 16 for my 30th birthday and everyone loved it. Seems like it'll be a birthday tradition to come here every year. They are cash only for the tickets but the bar takes visa!

Went here on Sunday evening which is usually a dead/slow night. The headliner absolutely killed it and the other comedians (inc. host) were also funny. I think they were thinking they bombed... but we had a blast. The wait staff was also fantastic. Food was nothing to write home about, but we enjoyed some sweet potato fries as a good little evening/beer snack. However, the tea/coffee options and other non-alcoholic beverage options needs a refresh. My partner (who doesn't really drink) ended up ordering some tea and it was a really bad red tea bag (I forget the brand). Can't expect much from a comedy bar I guess. Beers for me were alright. Standard 9 bucks per pint affair. Overall, it helped me remember how much I missed live entertainment. Highly recommend this place.

Always a great experience! Highly recommend getting there at least a half hour before show time to order food and drinks. Service is great, top notch comedians, super affordable & always an awesome laugh with friends or a date. My Husband and I love it so much we ended the night of our engagement party here ! Great memories.

Quality of the show can depend on the performer, but even if a particular comic isn't your cup of tea, it's still a really enjoyable time with friends. The menu's pretty decent as well!

Not our first time and definitely won't be our last. We saw Andrew Packer again who we love. Good selection of comedians overall. Different MC compared to last time but just as great.

They refused to serve tap water, claiming that as ‘an entertainment establishment’, they didn’t have to. Every reputable entertainment establishment I’ve ever been to treats their paying customers better than this. Do better Absolute Comedy, don’t force your customers to pay for plastic bottles just to make an extra buck.
