Maintain your pride in this well-attended food bank. Hampers are available to residents in the catchment area once a month, but breakfast (9:00 - 10:00) and lunch (12:00-13:00) is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Bring your identification (I used my drivers license with my old address and a PDF of my phone bill with my current address) to the super-friendly volunteers at the reception desk. They’ll issue you a member card good for the year to collect your hamper. Volunteers and staff members are sensitive to dietary restrictions and observances. Status update: 2021-09-20 the breakfast and lunch programs are on hold due to the COVID-19 protocols. Too bad - this was an awesome service for the community. Please get vaccinated so we can eradicate this virus and get back to community meals! Please note there are a number of other programs available for the community to access. These people do God's work. I was with a dozen people giving their time to prepare donated food for the next day's foodbank distribution.

The most amazing all in one community hub in the area. This is a non judgement all welcome atmosphere where people from the area can come and have a hot meal, get help with food assistance or seek guidance from one of the many helpful staff that are trying to do whatever they can to remedy a situation. This center is based primarily on kind hearted volunteers who give their all to make what could be a stressful situation a positive one while their visiting. So, whether anyone is in need of a hot meal, or an immediate shortage of food. This is the place. Yes, it is not massive, but it packs a strong foundation and offers programs that really do make a difference in someone’s everyday life. Check it out, research it online, or even volunteer a few days a week and make a difference in someone’s life.

Wonderful food bank, let's you pick from many choices...including fresh veg + meat! The free lunch is good, healthy and served you at the table, with fresh flowers and a movie! (Bring your own container!) Wonderful place with advocates to help you with almost any problem. A 10 in my book!

Extraordinary - all angels walking on this planet. I volunteer to pick up food from here for others who cannot attend, and am always treated generously, kindy, warmly. They all should receive the country's thanks for their service to humanity.

It's a Friday and The Stop closes at 3pm.. I was running 10/15 mins behind and my phone service was shut off prior that morning due to non payment.. I had taken ttc and was at Dundas West using wifi to make a phone call to The Stop.. I had started calling 250 pm. I did not get through tell 2:58 pm.. Once I got through, the frist lady tried to reach out to the foodbank for me.. I explain I am 10 mins away and am a bit behind but I was wondering if it possile to still access the foodbank.. The lady seemed to think this might be ok as she asked do I have an account with them and asked my name. She had put me on hold and spoke with the foodbank and passed me over .. Soon as I was on the phone with a lady from the foodbank states right away "food bank closed.. foodbank close at 3pm.." I try to explain that I know it is, its now 304pm and I know its closed I am 10 mins behind its 304 , you just closed as Im trying to get through on the phone..she states "come back Monday" thats all she would say to me.. I guess they dont want to give out anymore food, milk, eggs, yogurt to anyone else cause its Friday and they can take home what they please to their famies instead of taking 10 mins to help someone in need.. This food bank recently now made it so you can visit 1 time a month cause of the load of people in need.. but the staff are more concerned about leaving right at 3pm on a Friday and taking the rest of the milk, eggs, yogurt which may go bad over the weekend home for themselves and their family.. Thank you, The stop, for your support to people in need .. smh

Fully Accessible! This place saved my butt. Super friendly and RESPECTFUL staff. Tons of homegrown veggies. They offer workshops for cooking, gardening, and more. They have hot lunches for those who want it.

That amazing food bank! The people working in the is very friendly! I really liked!

Natural organically produced food is served on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week from 9 to 10 am and from 12 noon to 1pm. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff and volunteers are very helpful. The Food Bank is open during lunch from 12 noon till 3pm and fresh vegetables are given with eggs, milk and canned food.

Amazing staff, they are very kind and provide you with full information. They give you quite good food.

Great service by personnel, although today was a one off packed day. Seeing lots of hungry people in Toronto left Rosbie troubled, the engine sped off early in misery. Another problem to solve. Looking for answers. Wonderful staff at the food bank adjacent this location.
