Came here on Saturday to see the salmon runs and they were quite active on the first dam. (Is that what they’re called). We hiked north on the path to the next dam and we didn’t see any fishes at all. Thank you to the other reviewer that mentioned the construction - everything was quite muddy especially given all the rain we’ve had. And parking was completely closed and we had to find parking in the neighborhood - which really wasn’t that bad. Another thing to note is that the washrooms are closed. The ravine is also fenced off, so we didn’t see any fly fishers like we did in past years.

This is a beautiful park to walk through and enjoy in the city. The Humber river runs through it and you can observe the salmon migration here during the fall. I love that there are parks like this in our city.

What a lovely trail, with separate section for bikes, and for pedestrians. Follows the Humber River North from the parking lot. Lots of vantage points to watch the river, or in the fall, view the salmon heading up river to spawn.

Had a family morning at Etienne Brulé Park and very impressed with everything. Large parking lot and free. It was quite full but as someone came in someone was leaving and the fact that Blog TO wrote an article on the salmon run it has brought in more people during the week. Couple dozen people standing on waters edge at the first water falls most photographers. The park is very colorful right now and fall has been great to us this year in Toronto. The washrooms have been closed for winter according to the signage. But they have brought in a porta potty. Got many great images of salmon and the amazing fall colors.

Went to see the salmon run again this year, too bad the parking was under construction. You can park across the river in the paid lot. There is a nice area you can get to at the end of that lot to get close to the river for some nice pictures.

Quite and peaceful park. The trail alongside flowing water, lush green park. Lots of benches to sit down and relax.

A beautiful and peaceful place to get away from the city while still being in the city. This is a great place to spend a peaceful day besides the Humber River. You can come with a picnick and spend the day or go on a walk for a few hours following the river. Also this is a very quiet place so it's a great to get away from everything.

October is a perfect time to visit the park, enjoy the fall colors while having a nice walk. If you are planing your visit ariynd this time it's good to know that begging of October is a peak season for salmon migration in the Greater Toronto Area. People will line up along riverbanks to watch salmon swim and jump out of water. They are very close, you can almost touch them.

Fun to walk around or fish for trout. Great little park. Right now there is a lot of construction on east side and no sidewalk on the bridge but overall nice little place

You can observe various birds and salmon jumping up the river, and it is a park with a good natural environment. It is relatively convenient to visit by public transportation near Old Mill subway station, and you can see wonderful scenery.

It is one of the nicest parks for cycling, jogging, fishing, walking, and even sleeping. You will see a lot of people respecting each individual, whether by water or land. I have not seen enough negative things about this park, maybe some rotten fruits that fell down from the tree.

Etienne Brule is a very scenic, well maintained park with jogging and cycling trails, on the banks of the Humber River . Went there for watching the salmon swim upstream to spawn, but there were not any to be seen. I was told that the temperature might be too warm and we might need to wait for it to get a little cooler. Will definitely head back to take another look.

highlights: - beautiful location & landscaping - centrally located - free parking available - humber river bank throughout makes it even better I drove here by chance driving to the tennis courts and this was indeed a beautiful find. I loved the area & location nearby. Its best when its sunny and green here. I couldn't do the trail walk but it appeared a worthy one. You can bring your cycles or just walk|run, fish, play, relax here. Its a good one for a family day out. will be visiting again for a walk. Recommended. Enjoy!

We visited this park today and witnessed some amazing Salmon runs trough Humber river. A lot of salmon fishes were migrating upstream and we were lucky to see them. It’s a nice and clean park. Parking is there but I won’t say it’s sufficient on weekends. Washrooms are available near parking. A must visit place near downtown Toronto.

This is a very beautiful park well-maintained. Quiet people, pleasant, amazing walk by the water it’s calming. It is just peaceful walking through this park. There’s just the right amount of trees and paved walkway for people and bike lane for the bikers and you can walk endless around this park and I really thoroughly enjoyed my time here when I walk.

The best time to visit this park is during Salmon Run. Mid October when the temperature falls below 15.

It is a particularly beautiful park where you can see many birds and salmon. The only drawback is the lack of parking spaces.

This is a beautiful park to walk through and enjoy nature in the middle of the city. The Humber river runs through it and you can observe the salmon migration here during the fall. This place is habitat for special kinds of birds. Long trail for walk and bike ride. A lot of benches near the water.

Amazing place to spend the day! Bike path and walking path, lots of vegetation and wildlife. Very quiet and serene, especially on weekdays and farther down the paths on weekends.

It was my first time visiting Etienne Brule Park ever. I went with my husband and son on a Friday afternoon and it was just spectacular and beautiful. On the Saturday, we returned with my brother, his kids and more family. We brought food, had an evening picnic and enjoyed a fire, told stories and sang. We had so much fun, a little boy asked his mom if he could come over and join us... I think it was the fire that was most appealing to him. We got there around 6:30 pm and stayed until 8:30 pm. Everybody would have stayed longer. There's something special about telling stories around a fire. It was such a fun experience. I look forward to visiting this park when I next return to Toronto.

One of the beast options along the Humber trail. Trail is wide and there is enough green space to satisfy most people, even during the peak times. Humber trail is gorgeous around the park and don't need to cover a lot of distance. Parking is usually great but on peak time hours, it could be impossible to find and the paid parking lot is not that large. Great time to visit is autumn when leaves colour changes.

Near Old Mill subway station, great spot to hangout and chill...small trails to explore and have a good time...great biking tracks too...amazing place to go fishing as well.

Well maintained trail that has two separate paths for pedestrian and bikers. No water fountain can be found throughout the track. Placing a drinking fountain 2 km apart from each other would really help everyone to stay hydrated.

A wonderful park that makes you feel like you are away from the city. A winding river that often flows fast. A great place to see salmon jumping the small damns, beautiful trees and trails! A must place to visit and take pictures in the fall as the leaves change colour

The beauty of this park is truly captivating. Its stunning scenery, combined with the bustling energy of the city, creates an awe-inspiring ambiance that is simply amazing. Whether you prefer a peaceful stroll or an invigorating bike ride, this park offers an incredible experience that is hard to match. Amidst its breathtaking landscapes, the park offers numerous idyllic spots where one can sit and contemplate the serene Humber River. It's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a great way to rejuvenate one's mind and soul. Overall, I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience. Its natural beauty and serene atmosphere provide a perfect backdrop for a tranquil and reflective retreat.

Whether it's for the salmon run, or bonfires, or just a quiet walk beside the water, this is a park you'll want to keep coming back to. This park is one of many to explore along the Humber River, and the area on the other side of the river near Old Mill station is very scenic and worth exploring as well.
