⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for providing cold face clothes with essential oils after class - wow what an incredible touch! Very large change room with lockers, incredible showers with very good pressure. Dyson hair dryers, beautifully smelling lotions, etc. The space is amazing - it’s clean, well designed and the upstairs lounge area was beautiful. Took the ride class super loud, very helpful staff, great workout, cool lights only thing I thought was odd that the instructor called out a few peoples names - this is my first spin class so maybe that’s normal? Were they people she knew ? I don’t know caught me off guard and was distracting. Overall I would recommend and I’m excited to take some of their other classes! Also loved nutbar!

After consistently trying this place 3 months in a row 5 days a week here’s my take on it. Pros: there are a variety of classes for everyone, the front staff is friendly, the workout rooms are cleaned after every class, you can grab snacks just downstairs, all equipment and even towels are provided Cons: most of the classes in the evening are booked up so you better plan your workouts a week in advance, the hot yoga classes are claustrophobic and tend to smell a little because of the sheer amount of people in there, the popular HITT classes have very little space on the floor so they are cramped, the prices for drinks and snacks are astronomical, the change room and showers downstairs are dirty most of the time simple because of the amount of people they are accommodating, there’s only a very few instructors that actually “instruct” Conclusion: This place used to be ‘worth it’ last year. Early this year, I took a class with Dustin Pym where I could see the benefits of doing class based workouts where I could improve my form and technique because he went around correcting people. However most of my recent workout in the yoga and HITT studio feel a waste of money since the trainers seem to be performing from a script. They no longer correct anyone or even demonstrate the exercise properly. Honestly, Youtube videos can do better since I can rewind them. Save your $282 (unlimited membership) or $186 (9-5 membership) because there are boutique gyms in Toronto are way cheaper. Honestly regret paying for this month…

I've only done 5 classes at the studio. The wins: - The facility is really nice. - The music is fun to workout too - Coffee and Nut Bar are great The cons: - They have a very strict late policy. Even if you show up EXACTLY for your class you will be denied entry. So if there is traffic or anything else. Expect to be denied. - When we arrived to our outdoor class they had cancelled it only 20 minutes before for weather. We live a half hour away so we didn't know until we arrived. We wasted one and a half hours of our day. Overall the gym does not feel inclusive or worth the money. We stopped going after one month of bad experiences and rude attitude from customer service.

I was injured at a HIIT class today and I am still in shock about my experience, the class was supposed to be recovery based and like all the HIIT classes I’ve had there, there was none to minimal explanation of the machines and their functionalities. Normally this is okay, I try to figure out my way through but the instructor came to adjust my posture while I was mid-movement and I fell off and injured my knee. At no point was I asked whether I was okay to continue with the class, I was actually told that I needed to adjust my speed (I was in the ‘inaccurate’ posture because I didn’t have the control yet to do that in the right pose and I was trying to communicate that to the instructor, but she may not have heard me). Imagine this: the music is loud and disorienting, the lights are dimmed so it is impossible to see the injury to see if there are any lacerations/blood, the immediate response from the instructor is that somehow I did something wrong so I felt pressured to continue and work through the rest of the class with my injured knee. I was also in panic mode and froze up trying to not hyperventilate and cry in front of everyone. Combined with the quick pace of the class (the instructor did not pause after my fall) I wasn’t in a situation to seek help and overall I feel that the gym was a hazardous environment. When things go okay sweat and tonic is fine, I’ve been going there with friends for weekend gym binges because the spaces are pretty and the location is central, but after this experience I will never be able to go back.

Great gym but cancellation policy is ridiculous and designed for people who never face an inconvenience before class. My dog was taken to emergency the morning of my ride class and I showed proof , even then they refused a refund and showed zero compassion. I was also paying unlimited membership and was planning to continue for the rest of the year , but this was quite an unpleasant experience to say the least.

Top of the line equipments, friendly staff and an extremely clean fitness studio! I come here for spinning classes and I’m never disappointed. The instructors here are so energetic and the staff are always so helpful. During my first time here, the front receptionist brought me around and showed me a mini tour of the facilities. There’s also a NutBar at Sweat & Tonic so, if you’re ever in need of a drink after a good workout, there’s that. I wouldn’t trust all the reviews shown here, customer service is a hit and miss at times everywhere. I highly encourage you to come see for yourself. I can only speak about my own experience and I had a great time! Would definitely be back for more rides. The only constructive feedback I would give is to suggest the studio to NOT place bikes beside speakers. I was placed in Bike 1 last week and let me tell you, the ride was not exactly pleasant and half the time, I could not hear what the instructor had to say because it was so loud to a point that the words coming out of their mouth sounded muffled. I also had some difficulty clicking in my shoes but the instructor spotted me and quickly helped :) Thanks Steve! FYI- at the moment, S&T takes Classpass credits.

This place is gorgeous and super clean but we had a terrible and humiliating first time Yoga experience. I took two of their classes and they were good so I decided to bring my bf with me. He's been wanting to try yoga his whole life so I thought this would be a perfect place for him to try it out. He was already nervous and shy to try the class since he has never done yoga before. At the end of the class the manager told us that we were being too loud and to keep it down next time because other people "complained" about us. Now keep in mind this was during a Hip Hop Yoga class where they blast Hip Hop and then she tells us we were being too loud??? We were all the way in the back of the room and there were no one beside us and the only reason why we even whispered to each other is because the instructor did not come up to us at any point and help. When I called and inquired about the class, she told me it was a great class for beginners !. The instructor did not introduce himself to us or ask us if we are new and instead of helping us while watching us struggle to keep up, he gave us dirty looks for whispering to each other. I had to help my bf out since the teacher didn't and then we get told that we shouldn't talk. Any other human being would be able to tell that two new students are confused and need a little assistance. Unless you are a pro yogi I would avoid their classes because you will be embarrassed and will get no help. When we left we thanked the teacher for the "awesome class" (because we are polite and respectful) even though he was ZERO help and gave us dirty looks. I called the manager back after she humiliated us at the front desk because we felt very offended and I didn't want other people to hear any of this BS. The manager told me to pease breathe and stay calm ( even though I didn't raise my voice at any point, I was simply hurt) and when I explained to her that the only reason why I even exchanged any words with my BF during class is because NO ONE WAS HELPING HIM. She literally didn't want to do anything about it or hear us out so when I said i will leave a bad review she told me that its not fair to their business. Then when I told her how could we possibly offend anyone by whispering to each other in the back of the empty class while Drake is rapping could offend anyone, she laughed. She literally laughed out loud!!! It was the teacher that complained about us. Completely ridiculous! We are two adults that have respect for others and would never be loud and obnoxious in a class and ruin the experience for others. I gave then a full month to call us back and try to make us feel a little better about this incident but nothing happened. Not a call or an e-mail so I am now writing this bad review which I would typically never do. We are business owners and feel terrible for doing this BUT clearly no one cares about us. No one even called back and offered to refund us or let us try another class for free with a teacher that would actually HELP us and not judge us. Thanks for ruining my boyfriends first yoga experience!

I visited with a 3-class pass (3 passes for $45 introductory offer) to check out the facilities and the classes. I decided to go to the 3D HIIT class on a Sunday afternoon. Before you read on, I wanted to mention I'm a fitness instructor of 10 years and have multiple certifications in several types of classes. I realize the gym is still new and I'll alter my feedback and rating as I see fit in the next 2 classes I do. TL;DR - gorgeous space, great staff but HIIT classes had zero safety cues nor proper form correction in a dark space that didn't allow for the most ideal workout. FACILITIES: facilities are gorgeous, the space is clean and they have a 'VIP' lounge for what in the future will be a coworking space (I think... As front desk wasn't sure how that was going to work) with a key tag access. Washrooms were large with lots of free day lockers. Check in was easy and we were greeted at the door, nice touch! CLASSES: The variety of classes is significant and the class schedule, even on weekends, well into the late afternoon / evenings. I went to the 3D HIIT class with Al. There were 10 people in class total with 3 stations (boxing, treadmill and resistance). You had to chose a spot in any part of the studio when you sign-up. With only 10 people, there was more than enough space for everyone to start at the same station to allow for the instructor to coach with better precision. However, because there was so much going on (albiet the class was small), the coaching was very poor. There were *zero* form corrections and some participants has really dangerous form in class. Also, for anyone with injuries, the treadmill is the only option for the running portion (and yes, of course you can walk but there is no bike option for ACL/MCL issues). Boxing was fun with the aqua bags but the MMA gloves they gave us tore my knuckles apart. I highly suggest bringing a pair of handwraps / inner gloves for this portion of class. The resistance portion was fine, chest presses with a leg raise, elevated lunges with a knee raise, Bulgarian lunges split squats, bicep curls, shoulder presses, renegade rows on the bench... The dumbbells go up to 25 lbs. Finally, the lights were so dark, I had nearly tripped on the step and putting the weights away were difficult. The lighting was inadequate for the class. At the end of class, we got a chilled towel which was a nice finish. Overall, while I think this gym has potential, it's currently in need of better standardization and procedures in class and focus on technique.

This business does not follow Covid health mandates (overly crowded studio, instructor not wearing masks, no mask enforcement during class in between stations). I was never contacted about a covid outbreak in one of their classes and heard that multiple instructors tested positive for covid. I've since tested positive for covid in the week or so after the class. Highly irresponsible business that should not be supported.

There are many things that I appreciate about Sweat & Tonic. The facilities are well-maintained and the class instructors are outstanding. However, for busy professionals that work in unpredictable settings, the late/no-show policy in place will cause you significant stress. Sweat & Tonic has implemented an inflexible late/no-show policy that financially penalizes those (including Unlimited members) that cannot foresee a potential absence 12-hours in advance. Recently, I was detained at my place of work due to extraordinary circumstances. When it became apparent that I would not be able to make my scheduled class (over 1 hour before the scheduled start time), I called Sweat & Tonic and attempted to re-schedule my class. I explained the nature of my work and tried to clarify why my current circumstances could not have been anticipated. The individual that I spoke to indicated that they would discuss the case with their management. Two days later, I received an e-mail, declining my request not to be charged the no-show fee. As such, as I am currently an unlimited member, I was charged $15. I am struggling to envision remaining with Sweat & Tonic for any extended period of time, given the current late/no-show policy in place.

Took two classes while in Toronto, one w/ Jules and the other with Samantha. Both high energy, just enough instruction/encouragement and both provided a great workout. Can't wait to visit again!

Luxurious gym with so much under one roof! I’ve been a member for 2.5 years now, and can say that S&T offers the best group fitness classes. With just 1 membership, I can access all 3 studios - Ride, HIIT and Yoga - and book private infrared sauna/Somadome sessions. They’ve recently added cryotherapy to their wellness offerings, and I’m in love! Tonic House is great for lounging or using as a workspace. Tonic Bar has amazing food and drink offerings for pre-workout energy, or post-workout fuel. Speaking to the complaints from late guests, just to give you a different perspective… it completely disrupts the instructor’s flow/cueing, and myself and other guests in motion. Frankly, it’s quite disrespectful to everyone who was punctual.

The sweat family were filled with love at Pride. We marched together and had the time of our life! Positive energy! This team is incredible and goes above and beyond. They organized an amazing float with the best DJ music, drag Queen and an incredible electric violinist! The vibe was over the top! Because I have been going to 2-3 classes a week I was primed to dance for 3-4 hours!

Trying this place out through class pass. This was my first cycling class experience. Cycling class- 5/5. It felt like you are in a nightclub, the music, the vibes = perfection. I had a blast Aesthetic 5/5 - love the shower rooms, the getting ready section is to die for (dyson hairdryers. Beautiful mirrors. The work out room has led lights. Things to improve on: the shower/lotion could be better. A changing area design between the showers and lockers can have a bench or a smoother transition zone

The Ride classes are amazing - great instructors, great facility, and cool vibe overall. Love the lights and playlist. Really inspires a good workout. The change room facility is also great - super clean, plenty of lockers available, nice big showers. Feels like you're at a spa. Will go back for the boxing class.

Showed up at the front desk at 1:14 for my class that started at 1:15 I wasn't told about a two minute grace period to get to your class on time, I drove from North York so I wasn't too familiar with the traffic situation, my intention of course was to show up early enough. With that being said for the first time entering the building and first time getting greeted from front desk was poor and they have terrible attitude so I went ahead and cancelled my "the well unlimited" membership I just bought that I was actually interested in upgrading to the VIP exclusive one, I'm actually shocked at this place and how staff treat clients that are showing up for the first time ever. We come here to have a good time and the first staff members we are greeted by are just incredible vibe killers with attitudes that you can see before they even speak. Just get a job you like!

The staff are friendly and supportive. The facility is beautifully designed and clean. The classes are fun and challenging. I love everything about this place! I took Frances' Booty HIIT class yesterday and I left dripping in sweat!! She was super motivating throughout the class and demonstrated/ emphasized the correct form for each exercise which was very helpful. My favourite class so far, can't wait until next week!

A horrible place where the staff do not know anything about customer service. You will not get friendly greetings from the front desk and god forbid you take too long in the washroom, you will not be let into the class (and not refunded- I was offered to wait 45 more min for the next class instead (this is a so called complementary class, even though I checked in in advance and was just using the washroom downstairs )!I did contact class pass after and they did refund me because they also were in disbelief this happened (so they made an exemption for me because this is what good customer service does, something S+T should learn). So yes, hold it all in for the duration of the class or you will lose your money (and if you have occasional stomach problems, that’s too bad!). Being a busy Bay Street finance professional I felt like I wasted time (because I planned my work and lunch break around the class I wasn’t allowed to attend even though I came on time) and was treated like a high schooler (and I’ve been coming to this gym regularly for 4 months since reopening). I’ve been going to gyms for 20 years and this is the first time in my life I could not believe the treatment received. Avoid at all costs. Do not believe all those positive reviews - they probably work there/paid. A gym that treats customers as a zero doesn’t deserve customers. Luckily, lots of gyms in downtown core to chose from. Too bad you lost a loyal customer and all I can do is tell everyone I know and work with how terrible customers are treated there.

Took a 6:00am HIIT class in Sweat and Tonic from the Class pass free credits my friend gave. It’s really a great place for a workout since everything is under one roof. HIIT, Boxing, Pilates and Hot or Warm Yoga. Plus they have really great staffs and amazing ambience inside!

I was really, really excited to try a class and was on a car ride for an hour to get there; that's how excited I was about Sweat and Tonic. I arrived at 10:25, and my class was at 10:30. If I had only received a proper guide to where the change room is, how the lockers work, or where my class is, I could have easily made it to my yoga class. Nobody helped or cared to answer any questions. Fast forward, I got rushed to a cycling class, which was the total opposite of what I had in mind (yoga class). One of the staff members told me I couldn't make it to the class due to their two-minute policy, which is absolutely understandable. However, I think it would definitely be better to focus on the quality of your service rather than the quantity of your clients. Although the cycling instructor was amazing, it was not something I was looking for!

Located at the corner of shuter and Young Street, sweat and tonic is a beautiful environment in which to work out. The crowd is young (20s and 30s) and Mostly in excellent shape to begin with! I’m not in excellent shape But decided to try it anyway. Sweat And tonic offers spinning (stationary bikes), high intensity interval training (boxing, running and weights/stretching) as well as yoga. As a novice to high intensity interval training I found my class to be a little overwhelming. However the instructors were nice and came by to try to show me proper technique and help me make it through to the end of class without dying. At the end of the class, one of them approached me and told me how I should stretch before going to bed that night – if only I had listened. Four days later, I am still sore, however I have been motivated to go again and do better next time. The staff are very nice and were willing to give me a tour before I signed up for a class. I recommend going in and taking a tour and giving it a try. They do offer a 3 class trial package at a very reasonable price. They also have a clubhouse in which to do work either before or after the class and a coffee/juice bar.

Went to the vinyasa flow with Vanessa through ClassPass, the class was amazing! It was the perfect amount of sweat, mindfulness, and difficultly. The check-in experience and sweat and tonic as a whole has me feeling a bit disappointed. The establishment itself has a clean “expensive” vibe which you’d expect given the cost, but it lacks customer experience. The team member that checked us in made it seem like we were inconveniencing them and provided zero guidance as to where the class was or the amenities we could access. For instance, the change room is downstairs but there are lockers are outside the class as well so it was extremely confusing trying to figure out where to go. I also don’t love that you have to use their mats, I left with black dirt/dust on my palms and back that I can only assume is from the mat itself. That material is difficult to clean from experience so I know even if they are “sanitized” they likely aren’t a being replaced or properly cleaned regularly. I was considering buying more credits because I enjoy the community aspect that comes with having a spot for fitness/yoga, but will look elsewhere after this

Great place for a workout, enjoy the amenities, exercises and the workout facilitators. However, they need to do a MUCH better job at selecting censored music. As a person of colour it is INCREDIBLY uncomfortable and alienating hearing the n-word in the check-in lobby and workout spaces; most recently from a Drake song on this Wednesday. I've attended classes for a few months now and they are consistently bad at this. Just choose censored music for your lobby and make it a policy requirement for your workout facilitators who make their own playlists and my 3-stars becomes 5-stars.

Great first experience at Sweat and Tonic! The online booking system is easy to use. I booked the Rejuvenate and Glow facial with Zoe. I don't often do facials but this experience exceeded my expectations. The price is reasonable for what is included (back and hand scrub, weighted blanket in addition to the facial). Overall the experience was very relaxing and I can't wait to return! I'm also loving the way the consonant products made my skin feel. They kindly provided samples of the products that were used which was really nice! The 3D express class with Nate was a great 30 minute workout over the lunch hour. I also tried the slow burn with Odeta and loved it! The locker room/shower facilities are well maintained and clean.

Had a 'Rejuvenate and Glow' facial with Zoë and it was well worth it. The 'back cleanse' is an extra bonus and let's be honest - you can't do it properly yourself. The offer of a weighted blanket was a nice addition and I actually dozed off for a few minutes it was so relaxing. Really like the Consonant products that are used during this treatment and at S&T. Had a couple of friends compliment me on how well I looked later on for which I will give credit to both Zoe and Consonant products . This facial is an excellent value for what you get. I plan to be nice to myself by going again soon.

SINCE YOU DECIDED TO WRITE MY PERSONAL MEDICAL INFORMATION IN YOUR RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW - I only commented to the review at your request - not bc I wanted to spend even a second on a place i’m letting all my BARRYS friends know to never attend. I have deleted and reposted. Just incase you are not aware: 1) you have no right to expose anyone’s personal medical information on a public Google review if shared in private 2) while you may not have kept the emails that passive aggressive MACKENZIE/thief wrote to me I do. Not once did she ask for documentation. As a doctor, it is very easy for me to provide you with any medical documentation at a simple request. So at your request for me to give a written review to ur one star… here it is. hi: i won’t be emailing bc Mackenzie’s extremely discourteous and condescending responses will no longer be tolerated by me. While I loved my experience with the OG instructors (Sheldon, Odetta, Francis), the wonderful front desk staff… Mackenzie’s unprofessionalism is the reason I would score S&T a negative 5 stars if I could. Mackenzie attempts to increase revenue by stealing from my account. You send silly emails to us about how our safety is paramount and to “bubble” during the holidays and yet Mackenzie ENCOURAGES SYMPTOMATIC people to come to hot yoga. Are you KIDDING ME!?! She said I would have to attend a hot yoga session or lose my credit. She can eat it. She has also refused to hold my credits that were purchased so I could attend the events that used to go on in the TONIC house. I had an unlimited pass but purchased class pack for those events. NO EVENTS have happened since February of 2020 (these were frozen in March 2020 bc of Covid) bc of the pandemic but again to create FAKE REVENUE Mackenzie had refused to put my passes on hold again when I purchased to S&T sweat on the roof unlimited membership so that she can show revenue. I’m not the only one who has had credits stolen by Mackenzie. I had seen her speak extremely rude and condescendingly to instructors in front of patrons but I never bothered to complain bc she was not being rude to patrons. But bc she thinks it’s ok to be curt, passive aggressive and not follow Public Health guidelines I will never attend s&t ever again. Just like mackenize is NOT allowed to go into our bags in the locker and steal, let her know she’s not allowed take credits from our accounts. Thank you to the front desk staff, the instructors… the beautiful space… but management just ruined it. DO NOT RESPOND TO ME AS I WILL NEVER EVER ATTEND.

There's a great variety of classes - you're bound to find a class type(s)/instructor(s) you mesh well with. A few reviews complain about their late/cancellation policy - but I think it's quite fair - you'll find it's really distracting when people burst into class late (although this doesn't happen often). They also communicate the policy very clearly beforehand. The staff are good at fixing technical errors. My membership accidentally deactivated my guest passes - and they reactivated it same day. Memberships are very convenient - you can subscript month by month, without being required to make a longer commitment like some gyms require. Studio is clean, with good amenities. Tonic House is an added plus

It’s always a joy to drop in and grab a beverage or bite to eat!! There’s a variety of options with clean ingredients to get you through the day. Everyone who works here has great energy and provide a high level of attention to detail. Kavaine was such a delight in assisting me with my order, it’s greatly appreciated!! Definitely recommend trying everything on the menu and all things Sweat and Tonic have to offer!!

I can’t say enough about this fitness space. It is an oasis in the center of our city. The facilities are stunning, the classes are intense & rewarding, and everyone that works here from instructors to members of the cleaning team, to management are top notch. I especially want to highlight and thank Rachael Fallon and her yoga, breath work, and meditation practice that she leads at S&T Rachael, Thank you for leading with love and vulnerability. Your teaching has opened my world inward and continues to provide me with the tools and focus to heal, grow, and love. You taught me that my breath is my medicine and your work has helped me through recovery, the pandemic, and integrating back into the day to day of life. You are a rare gift and our world needs so much more of you. Thank you for all that you bring to every class and every interaction. James

Sweat and tonic is my second home! My favourite yoga teacher here is Rachael. I’ve been attending her classes for the past year and I can confidently say she has changed the way I think about life. I’ve been to her yoga classes and her woman’s circles. Both which challenge your body and your mind. She makes you feel comfortable, refreshed and exhilarated to attend the next class. She helps you realize how to push your own limits and you leave with something special after each class. Sister, thank you for sharing your love, your story and your energy.

Want a great Spin class when in Toronto, this is a fantastic option. 2nd trip to Toronto and I got an early flight in just to make a class! Instructor Rachel rocked it and then had a great smoothie and the Nut Bar(nice healthy eats). Staff helpful and studio clean. I've only taken spin classes, but I'd imagine the other classes are great as well.

The attitude at the front desk is horrible. I went for my first class with my partner and we were on time. I asked where we should be when class began and the lady told me “if youre in the lobby you wont miss the start of your class”. I then asked her where I can get water. She pointed me out to another spot in the lobby to buy water. I return a minute later to locked doors to my class with my partner inside. They would not let me in or notify my partner that I’ve now technically missed class time. The lady working there was very rude dismissive and unsympathetic. I literally had to go all white lady and ask to speak to a manager in order to get any resemblance of help. Very disappointing first visit. Gym looks beautiful tho.

Excellent studio!!! The best studio I believe in North America especially for the price! It’s clean, BEAUTIFUL, ALL classes and Trainers are exceptional and staff is so nice and helpful, makes going there a treat to your day! A special bonus is the Tonic house which is one of a kind and supports work-life balance. Unlimited membership is the only way to go and well worth the money!! S&T has changed my life!

I have never tried the Sweat and Tonic workout classes before. But I did visit their cafe twice now for the iced vanilla latte, and the hot matcha. Between the two, I recommend the matcha, the vanilla iced latee was a little unique to the taste. The atmosphere was clean, smelled like aromatherapy and essential oils, and had birght windows. I am looking forward to trying out one of their classes come the summer time.

Spin classes with Josh are fantastic! His playlists are fun and the workouts are both engaging and challenging. His classes are well suited for everyone— whether you’re a beginner or advanced rider. Josh always brings great energy and you can tell he pays attention to the details. Love his classes and have suggested it to several friends! Highly recommend :)

I have a attended a number of classes at Sweat and Tonic and have loved it. The spin classes are AMAZING. Cassandra’s Beat class is my favourite, she is super friendly and her positive energy rubs off on the class - it’s the perfect mix of a really fun, energetic vibe and also a KILLER workout. The perfect way to blow off steam and just switch off and lose yourself in a workout before or after work. The music is awsome too! I’m addicted to this class and couldn’t recommend highly enough! Facility is amazing and changing facilities are the best I’ve experienced. Would also highly recommend the ultimate recovery smoothie, so good!

Great experience going to Sweat and Tonic for the first time post pandemic. They took precautions seriously and as someone reluctant to return to indoor fitness I felt as safe as I could. Instructors were great and the environment is welcoming. Edit Aug 3: I’m not changing the rating because I do think Sweat and Tonic is doing a great job but I took one of the circuit classes today and while the instruction was great, I am a bit concerned about safety in those classes given that you are rotating from station to station and have to rely on the person before you to have cleaned it / clean it yourself. There was also confusion during rotating from station to station as well and people did not always put masks on between rotations. I know it’s hard because gyms want to maintain as much capacity as possible while maintaining safety measures but I wonder if there are any other creative solutions to this. From my understanding other similar HIIT workouts are maintaining one station and one treadmill per person. I will go back to Sweat and Tonic but might stay away from the HIIT classes there until there is a vaccine. I am a bit disappointed because I was really looking forward to trying the Triple Sweat class but I have to say I’m a little uncertain as to if it’s safe enough.

Took the triple sweat class on Sunday and was one of the best workouts I have had in Toronto. The space is absolutely beautiful, the treadmills and spin bikes are incredible and the staff was so welcoming. I will 100% be back to check out all of their other classes, sauna and treatments. Raised the bar for all Toronto studios to up their game.

Recently restarted at Sweat & Tonic and for the month of March there was a Fitness Class Challenge to get everyone motivated upon the reopening due to Covid. The Challenge was so much fun! It was great to see so many inspiring achievements by not only those at top of the leaderboard but also by those who began their fitness journey this past month! The winner completed over 180 classes during the month! E you were awesome!💪💪💪 I especially wanted to thank the Instructors who were always so encouraging! So far I’ve had the pleasure of the guidance and knowledge of: Rory, Phoenix, Maddy, Megan, Steve, Noriko, Sean, Rachel, Frances, Claudia and George! And finally the front Desk Staff and Cleaning crew! Always love to see their smiling faces! I truly appreciate all of your efforts at making S & T feel like home!!! Tim

Nice studio with a lot of amenities such as: 1) Dyson hair dryer, consonant shampoo/conditioner/ body soap 2) Towels 3) Lockers with locks and usb plugs that you can charge if you bring your cable 4) Smoothies on main floor 5) Lounge open after 5 pm - Daily specials Just note it gets really busy after work hours. Probably at 5-6 pm. Sometimes lockers in women’s room gets too crowded.

Writing this review for Rachael Fallon's Reiki & Restore class! <3 I'm a huge Sweat & Tonic fan, with over 300 classes completed since joining as a member. Rachael is the top of many many reasons I have dedicated this studio to be my home gym, rather than competitors and as an instructor and yogi is the heart of the studio's community. She provides a safe, loving environment for healing, strength and growth (both mental and active) and is one of the kindest, warm, genuine and knowledgeable souls in the wellness industry. Her teaching style is so unique - movement for inner strength, mental health and emphasis on calming the nervous system. Her Reiki & Restore class carries the calming, restorative spirit, and allows healing on a even deeper level. If you have never practiced restorative yoga, or experienced reiki healing you will find this environment very very welcoming and loving! I have brought guests who have never practiced yoga due to injuries join and relax. Consent comes first in this class and the cushions, blankets and other props all allow you to be comfortable and in control as the healers come around the room. The consent cards allow the healers to know if you would like a gentle touch as they balance the chakras (energy centers) or a hands off approach. You can stay cozy under a blanket, lie on your back with props, or follow the gentle poses Rachael guides you through. This was my first experience with Reiki and I left with a very open heart, a sense of safety and calm and found that a weight of darker energy was lifted. If you are a HSP (highly sensitive person) I truly suggest giving Reiki a try! Thank you Rachael for sharing this gift with us!!!! <3 <3 <3

I've found the S&T classes to be rather hit or miss but after taking 40+ classes with 15+ different instructors I have to recommend three standouts who teach incredible classes and bring the best energy. Rachel Schick is the queen of the HIIT studio for several reasons. First, she leads thoughtful warmups that include moves that are part of the upcoming workout. Second, she instructs all three stations more clearly than I've seen any other instructor manage. Third, her routines are challenging and lead to results. Finally, she emits such 'best friend' vibes, always bringing a good mood and encouraging the class. Rachael Fallon is our yoga goddess. I've only ever taken her 'Candlelit Flow & Restore, Hot' class, but I've taken it several times and never been disappointed. Rachael manages to make her classes physically challenging while also being incredibly relaxing. Truly, her classes feel like therapy. She also seems like a wonderful human being, and gives off a commanding yet nurturing energy. Odetta is top tier for pilates. She can make me feel a burn with no props at all, and she brings such a genuine, sweet, and fun energy to her classes. Would highly recommend trying a class with any of these 3 instructors.

Love the space, variety of classes (Rachael Fallon’s yoga classes are the reason I stay a member), and the bookable saunas/somadome. Their app definitely has room for improvement. I’ve used this app for other studios with no problems, but with S&T there have been multiple times when I or my partner check in for a class but still get a no-show fee and have to wait for them to check the camera footage to prove it. And anytime I’ve used their app to have a smoothie ready after class, they never make it and I have to have an awkward convo with someone looking at me like I’m lying or trying to scam them. But if you wait in line and order or check-in you’re golden so just skip the app for anything other than reserving classes is my recommendation.

Can't be even more then 2 minute late for a $35 dollar class they won't let you in Because due to " safety issues " You lose your money/credit if you don't wait for another class later on Never had this issue at equinox which has a better policy and facilities ie gym, steam room etc....

I’ve taken several dozens of classes in each of the 3 rooms (Ride, HIIT, Yoga) available at S&T with a variety of instructors. I always get a great workout here and the instructors are amazing! Personally, I’ve spent the most time taking classes in the Yoga room as a complement to my marathon training to work on releasing tension, mobility (my hips, hamstrings and back are always so so tight!!) and mindful breathing when moving. P.S. The S&T Recovery smoothie definitely hits the spot after class! I always look forward to grabbing one.

I regularly attend Hot Shadow Box HIIT with Claudia and always have an incredible experience! Claudia's sense of humor adds a fun element to a challenging workout. She dedicates the time to correct your form, ensuring a safe and effective session. Despite the intensity of the class, she encourages you to give your all, making the class both tough and rewarding. Highly recommend Claudia's class for a great workout with a supportive instructor!

Have been loving this new Facility in Downtown Toronto. Have been taking advantage of the January unlimited classes, and taking classes I never would have thought to take before. The energy in the place is great motivation to do better.. Between Spin, HIIT and Yoga there is so much variety in the classes and high energy instructors. Have to pluck up the courage to actually do the triple sweat!!

Review based on Covid-19 Impact: I have been going to S&T for almost a year. The facilities are beautiful, modern, and extremely clean. The nicest gym I have been to by a landslide. S&T has adapted very positively despite the new regulations and restrictions. I applaud S&T for going above and beyond on all the sanitation practices. They take your temperature when you walk in and you are required to wear a mask until you get to your station inside the studio (cycling, HIIT, or Yoga). All the lockers have a "clean" or "clean me" sign which is very smart. You can easily tell which lockers are safe to use. Inside the studio, they minimize movement and have plexiglass between each station. There are disinfectant wipes throughout the facility. Every studio is cleaned after each use and they also use hospital grade air filters. This facility was very clean prior to COVID-19 and I am now even more comfortable to continue participating in workout classes at S&T.

Sweat and Tonic is GORGEOUS. I had a wonderful first experience there attending Paulina's 12pm Burn class. She is one of my favourite instructors in the city and it was a wonderful place to take her class. The studios are stunning and clean, I received a tour upon arrival and the entire facility is spotless. I will definitely make time to stay longer after my next class to take advantage of their nutbar cafe. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I had credits at a couple of gyms in Toronto when COVID began, and Sweat & Tonic has done far and away the best job of communicating with clients about safety and new procedures, upgrading their space with safety features, and they were the first I saw to pivot and offer online and outdoor classes which were all excellent. You can tell all the staff genuinely care about fitness and making sure everyone has a safe and fun time. Not to mention their facilities are absolutely beautiful - hope to be back in person soon!

First time visiting both Sweat + Tonic, and a spin class. I was truly shocked how engaged the staff are and focused on everyone’s well being. Loved that the lockers have charging ports—now that’s details. As well as offering sanitizer, shoes on site, towels, and their drink bar looked excellent too. 👌 Also, Megan their new spin instructor is exceptional. Her energy is infectious, obsessed with her love for Brittany—and the choreo she comes up with for her classes. Can’t wait to be back! 😅

S&T is a beautiful gym – its new, has a nice layout, in a great location, and Nutbar has a lot of healthy options for pre and post workouts. The staff has been great as well and have been helpful if I have any questions. I decided to try S&T because I heard Al was teaching the 3D-HIIT class. I knew Al when he was an instructor at Equinox – Yorkville. Al is a great instructor!!! He makes a workout that may be intimidating - doable, fun, and addicting with his music (which is on point) and his energy – he’s motivating. He’s focused on running his classes smoothly as 3D-HIIT can be confusing if you’re new because you move in 3 different stations (treadmill, weights, and boxing). It was helpful when Al walked through the process, showed us how to use the treadmill, and he walked around to make sure the class had the right form. Did I say that the class is a lot of fun? Al’s 3D-HIIT class is my fav class at S&T – I’ve gotten leaner, stronger, and wanting more of the class!

This place is phenomenal! I did Sheldon's Hip Hop Flow hot yoga class this morning and it was probably one of the most energetic and fun yoga classes I have ever done. The studio is beautiful with giant windows. And I particularly love that all you have to do is show up - every spot had a mat, towel, straps and blocks. This is definitely the place to be!

The space is really beautiful and clean. There are a lot of amenities offered and the change rooms are very spacious. My main complaint with S&T is the online booking system. I often have issues booking classes because the system says I don’t have credits available when I do, or credits not being refunded when I cancel a class, or classes not being available for booking at the time they should be released. I have had to contact customer service multiple times to resolve these issues. They have always been helpful, but it’s annoying to have to constantly send emails to customer service just to book classes. I find the spin classes are not as good as SpinCo or SoulCycle. The instructors are not as energetic and motivating and there’s not a lot of direction to encourage riding to the beat of the music. There is also less variety of moves so the classes can feel a bit basic/boring. The 3D HIIT class can be confusing as the instructor has to yell out directions for 3 different stations at once so you have to listen very carefully in order to not miss what move you are supposed to do. However I enjoy the class; it is similar to Barry’s Bootcamp but with the addition of boxing. I love all the yoga classes I’ve tried here! The studio is beautiful and the essential oil massages at the end are a nice touch. Hopefully they work out these issues so the experience can be more positive!

Sweat and Tonic has it all that you're looking for --- HIIT bootcamp trend with that nightclub light vibes and crazy bumping music to amp up your workout, sick space for cycling and beautiful zen room for yoga. The amenities are gorgeous, aesthetics can do a lot for your mind and your workout, and this space is so beautifully designed from the food/lounge area, to showers, and classes. In terms of classes, I took a 3-D HIIT class with David, and I swear it was the best workout experience I've ever had in all my years of taking classes. I've never sweat so much in my entire life...but I guess that's why Sweat and Tonic is such a fitting name haha. I loved his enthusiasm, high energy, and I love the combo of strength, boxing and treadmill. Truly a space that has it all, no regrets if you sign up and you want to live the luxurious workout life

I was down in Toronto for work and stayed for a couple days near the Eaton Centre. As I don't like to miss my workouts while travelling, I spotted the Sweat & Tonic. The unique exterior first caught my eye walking by. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and went out of their way to assist me. No membership required here. Buy credits for the classes you want to do!! Great concept. I recieved a tour and was meserized by the decor, the buildings history and amazing layout of the studios. I booked in for a 45 min beat spin class the following morning with Instructor Steve. No worries if you have no equipment! They give you spin shoes to use! The bikes are high quality and easy to adjust and Steve was so helpful and made sure we were all good to go. The music was great and the class was amazing and challenging. I was a sweaty mess in a good way! Upon finishing class and walking out of the studio you are greeted with a cold lemony facecloth!!! I could have hugged that staff member!!! What a nice touch and man... it felt good. Showers and Change rooms are very clean and spacious. I used the hair/skin products which were very high quality. It was truly an amazing experience and to top it off the nutbar has amazing smoothies to get you on your way. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend the Sweat & Tonic for your fitness needs and I proudly wear my new S & T swag!! Thanks to all the staff for making my Toronto visit memorable and for keeping me on my fitness track!!

The studio is stunning and so well thought out! Every detail has been taken care of from spin shoes to equipment to toiletries in the change rooms. Cleaning staff are at the ready and the place is impeccable. I've had the opportunity now to try out each studio with a handful of instructors. Rachelle & Sheldon's classes in the Chi Junky studio are amazing. I love how there is no setup or takedown to worry about as the team does it all. The HIIT classes have absolutely kicked my butt (and hopefully toned/tightened it, too!). Slow Burn with Tiana was great. Brian's spin classes are fire! Great music & excellent instruction leave me in a puddle every time. Can't wait to watch this studio evolve!

I was able to experience both a class and a service at S&T. Space: beautiful, clean and spacious. Alot of kinks to still work out construction-wise but that can be understood given I was there during their Beta weekend. Staff: friendly but not so knowledgable with processes/general information. Again, understanding that it was their first weekend I was able to roll with it. I had to follow-up regarding my RMT receipt after my massage and then again a few days after for it to be emailed to me. Yoga Classes: great instructors and space. I love the pre-setup of mats/equipment! This is a nice added touch along with the massage at the end. Service: I had a massage and while the actual massage was okay, it was interrupted twice due to the light switching off fully. I wasn't there for a free class during their Beta weekend, this was a service I paid for in FULL. My expectation was that I will receive an exceptional experience and if they were not ready to offer that calibre of service, they shouldn't have opened it up for booking that early. Again, with understanding that it was their first weekend I followed up with feedback to management. My feedback was met with a generic response of appreciation but nothing was actually done. For me, this type of customer service does not yield a returning customer. Yoga: great instructor and space. I loved the pre-setup of mats/equipment.

Being a bodybuilder, is not just about physical strength. Once you manage to achieve that goal, which might be either bulking up, losing weight or building strength, you unlock a level of mental power which your mind is stronger than your muscles. This place is a great choice to test or develop both your body and mind strength. Coaches at SWEAT AND TONIC are both Educated and dedicated and they kinda love what they do I can tell. At the end of the day, It is not about how good or fancy this place is, it is all about how far are you willing to go.

Such an amazing place. Total quality in all regards - the finish of the interior, quality of machines and the little touches like a cold towel after the classes. Only improvements would be being able to hear the instructors in the spin classes (easy enough to just copy them though) and more savoury food on the menu. Great place to work out or hang out!

for this gym be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before class starts to register and sign in as I was turned away from my class tonight when arriving on time for the class. The staff were kind and offered to reimburse me for my class and explained they can't allow anyone in after the class starts however I was unaware of this late policy and it made for a frustrating evening when I was looking forward to enjoying a class. Thus from my experience I want to make sure that everyone is aware of the late policy to avoid future frustrations.

If you love EDM you need to go to a spin class with Rebecca. I used to love her classes at spinco because the music and her energy are A+++ and her classes here are even better. Super fun and motivating!

This studio is simply outstanding: extremely friendly staff, super motivating trainers and a great variety of courses. You’ll want to keep coming back after trying it for the first time… All you could ask for in a fitness studio!

The atmosphere at this fitness studio is unmatched to any others I've tried! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The instructor Emma was amazing and kept everybody moving and sweating, definitely recommend their classes!

Amazing experience! This was my first time there, all the staff were super helpful, the workout was very well lead and tons of fun. It is a beautiful studio definitely going back.

Great gym with one of the best trainers in the city! Been doing Al's classes from the beginning and he's been such a inspiration. Very professional and motivating, his workouts are an art, and always get a good sweat in. Thanks for everything Al! Hope to see more of you in the studio! You guys truly have a superstar!

I’ve been attending the 745am Sunday Core class for about a month. The trainer is enthusiastic, friendly, patient, and always goes the extra mile to ensure each participant is performing the exercises properly. I am thoroughly impressed and I will continue to be a regular attendee.

Top of a notch facilities. Friendly staff. Ins-style decor. It feels like the birth place of influencers. I tried one yoga class through class pass. It was a good experience but different than I expected. I really appreciate the mindfulness in yoga, which I feel the class here is in lack of. Instructor had mic on, and there was pop/upbeat music in the background. It can get distractive. Other than that it was a great experience.

Went to my first class here: boxing workout with Dustin. By far the best workout class experience I’ve had. From the facility to the instructor, it was all very well done. Looking forward to trying out some more classes. Saw some comments on the strict late policy, which does seem challenging, but it also helps you be accountable to be present for the entire class. Only cons from my end were that the class was a bit too packed and the music was a bit too loud.

Shout out to all the people who work at nutbar (located within S&T) always pleasant and giving great recommendations. Classes are always great and high energy, all instructors are 10/10 so far. Would definitely recommend to others. (Which I have) If you have the flexibility to work from anywhere, they have a great area you can do some work and take some mid day classes.

Aesthetically pleasing environment. VERY strict late policy. If you are someone who is early to being early this a great studio for you. Staff were friendly and helpful. I attended as a guest and was treated as if I was a member. Membership prices are $$$$. Due to the high cost I will only be able to drop into this studio one a month.

I went for my 1st class (The Blend by Dee), It was amazingly challenging but also relaxing. It's name truly fits. The staff were really nice. The facility was well kept and included everything one needs, you only need to bring yourself truly. You will have to look for parking if you drive. I'll definitely be back, I can still feel the burn a day later!

I love this place. I look forward to each class I go to, it is my favourite gym in Toronto. All instructors are really nice and helpful. I specifically really enjoy the boxing HIIT classes and Tuesday’s The Beat classes with the instructor Nariko :)

I've been going to Sweat and Tonic for the last three months after knee surgery, and it's been incredible for my recovery; I find great value in my 9-5 membership and go to 1-2 classes a day, Monday - Friday. I love the variety of classes available - from pilates, HIIT, yoga, and spin, but it can get busy/full. The facility is clean and very welcoming; it's nice to disconnect in the middle of a work day. Overall, I've been delighted with my experience, except for when my friend and I got sick from a buck and shuck night.

This place had a lot of hype so I was a bit disappointed when I went in with high expectations. I did the sound bath and yoga class which was actually very nice the room was dimly lit and they had a nice assortment of props for us to use + the instructor was very nice as well! However the yoga room was pretty crowded and it felt like we were invading each others space. The shower rooms were messy as well and the space seemed small and underwhelming for the price they charge! The classes seem to be mostly HIIT or cardio focused with the occasional yoga as well with no real strength training classes or proper gym equipment. For the premium price you’d expect a little more - they don’t have reformer Pilates either just mat Pilates small things like that. Overall I think you could find better places for a more reasonable price

Classes are overcrowded and they keep adding more spaces to the classes. The yoga mats are less than a foot apart and you keep touching other people while doing the poses. Bathrooms and facilities are dirty. Expect more for such a premium price. Equinox is cheaper, cleaner and nicer facilities. Better customer service too.

I’ve done 7 classes now and have been loving it!! At first I was nervous about going into things, as I was new to group workouts - however the instructors and fantastic and I find a lot of other class participants are so nice and energetic, so the overall vibe is immaculate! The facilities are really clean, and I really like how organized and punctual everything is - the classes run ontime and the instructors do a good job demonstrating or explaining the moves. Also the cold towel at the end of each workout is truly amazing. I’ve noticed a few reviews talking about how it’s a busy place - and that’s true. So I would personally recommend not being in a rush to go somewhere after class and it’s total good!! You really will sweat it out at these classes! Shoutout to Rachel Crumb, Javier Sanchez and Bianca Celotti for being fantastic instructors and making me fall in love with fitness ❤️ I would 100% suggest their classes to anyone reading this!!! My only suggestion would be to get some of the other staff names tags such as those at the front desk, the cleaners etc. They all work hard so it would be nice to know their names as well! 😀😀😀

I finally bought a monthly pass! This was ever since the studio added Rachael Fallon’s class Flow and restore! The best class in this city! I was so excited to finally find a studio that teaches breath work in the most comfortable setting. The candlelit dark room is what we all need, along with more attention to breath. Which is what Rachael provides. Love her therapeutic classes, which is all of them! Please add more flow and restore!

Classes are incredibly crowded. The yoga mats are so close together to the point you couldn’t fully do the workouts without getting someone’s feet in your face. The instructor weren’t great either. Spin classes are boring. Don’t let their beautiful space fool you!

Today I did my first Hot yoga in my life. And that was an excellent experience.. never had sweated so much and the feeling was out of trh world after the workout. Felt so relaxed and whole body was lighter. Awesome ambience very friendly staff. Totally loved it amazing experience

I honestly love this gym and have been coming here for over year- remaining my identity anonymous . Front desk staff are not friendly, just a huge vibe kill after a long day at work. Love the classes however the music needs to meet different demographics and not just Taylor swift and throwbacks that includes songs from ten years ago- way to make a certain crowd feel old when we are not. Javier. Is. The. Best. He needs a raise or teach more classes because he books up quick af.

Rachel Fallon is the most incredible yoga teacher. I have been going to her classes at the Yonge & shutter location for over a year now and so excited about this new location at the well! If you are looking to try yoga, go to Rachel’s class. Rachel is incredibly consistent in maintaining your autonomy in the space and sets clear expectations for sequences. She never uses any language that is gendered and always uses very neutral & clear language throughout the class that makes it easy to follow along even if you are upside down looking at the mat! My favourite thing about Rachel’s class is she will use super specific details to help you get into a shape (where your hands should be, where your feet should be, etc) and THEN she tells you what the shape is called. I’ve been in classes before where they call out the shape first and then start to explain what it looks like and that is hard if you don’t know all your yoga poses in and out. That always makes me feel like I don’t know what I’m doing because I see other people know the pose right away, and others don’t. I never feel that way in Rachel’s class because she walks you through first moving your body, and then discusses what the pose is called, making it way easier to follow along. Thank you Rachel for almost 2 years of yoga! Try her class you will not be disappointed.

I've been attending Sweat and Tonic Yoga classes for the past two years and have consistently had positive experiences. However, recent interactions with the studio's staff have significantly diminished my overall enjoyment and left me feeling anxious, to the point where I find it difficult to relax during my visits. 1. I typically purchase a single pass for each class due to my unpredictable schedule, opting for this flexibility over a membership. On one occasion, my boyfriend and I registered for a riding class, costing us 70 CAD in total. Unfortunately, we arrived two minutes late. Although I was fully aware of and respected the studio's late entry policy, I hoped for a possible exception and approached a staff member for assistance. Regrettably, the interaction was far from pleasant; the staff member's behaviour was unwelcoming and harsh, which led to an upsetting experience. I found myself deeply affected by this conversation, spending the next 15 minutes crying outside the studio. 2. Yesterday, I decided to give the yoga class another shot, just by myself this time. I was on the second floor trying to check in with the studio's app, but it kept saying I wasn't in the studio even though I was. In my attempt to check in, I accidentally hit the cancel button, and just like that, my class got canceled two minutes before it was supposed to start. I quickly found a staff member on the same floor and explained that I accidentally canceled my class and asked if I could still join. Unfortunately, her response was far from kind. She questioned how I managed to cancel and asked if I could sign up again. I explained that I couldn't because I needed to buy a new pass—I don't have a membership, I buy passes for each class. She then asked to see the app on my phone. In my panic, I started showing her my Gmail instead, trying to find my registration confirmation. She got more frustrated, insisting on seeing the app, not my emails. When I finally showed her the app, she struggled to use it and couldn't find my canceled reservation, which only made her more mad. Eventually, she told me to go downstairs and sort it out with someone else cause she already was annoyed. But the class had already started, and I didn't want to miss any more of it so I said I am not going downstairs.. She was adamant about not letting me in until another staff member with ginger hair showed up and told her to let me in. But the whole ordeal left me feeling so anxious that I couldn't relax at all during the class, constantly worried I might be asked to leave. I am not sure if I would continue going there.

Initially got the 3 for $55 Beginner’s Offer to dip my toes in Pilates. Absolutely loved my first workout with Viola. I had a great experience with S&T in general so I decided to get the Unlimited Membership this month: continued classes with Viola (love her!) and Rory (had my second class with her today and loved her class too!). Happy that S&T made working out fun. I look forward to every class!!

Rachael Fallon's yoga classes have truly changed my life. Struggling with anxiety for years, her classes are my weekly go-to to wind down and let go. She has a super special, magical style of teaching that is unlike any other teacher I've taken that will leave you feeling light, empowered and in touch with yourself. She does an amazing job of creating a community and a centre for healing. I recommend her classes to everyone :)

Love the energy, knowledge and human-centred approach that most instructors at this studio have! I have been taking yoga classes with Rachael Fallon here for a couple of months and have been surprised by how much more flexibility and balance I feel in my body just from those classes! Rachael is a very thoughtful teacher and she makes yoga accessible to those who are new to the practice. She centres the therapeutic values of yoga, which I really appreciate. I also love Dustin’s classes. Dustin really pays attention to form and building strength and has great playlists. His lift classes always feel like a safe space to try heavier weights and push myself. My only complaint is that since they opened the new location at The Well, the original location feels a bit neglected.

The best gym I've ever attended - love the variety, the amenities are generally great, and the instructors teach the absolute sweatiest/best/hardest classes I've ever attended. Favourite instructors (alphabetically): Bianca, Blair, Megan, Nariko, Rory, Tiana, & Viola. There's only 1 instructor I had truly negative experiences with (singles people out, feels like a HIIT class when it isn't... etc.), so I simply avoid her classes.
