Great low key bar with very friendly service, exceptional cocktails, and great drunk food. The Chinese hangover is probably one of the best drinks on the menu, but all of their signature cocktails are a hit- can’t go wrong with any. The food is surprisingly good and really pairs well with their drinks. The noodles are a must order- nice rice noodles with soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, sesame oil- really hits the spot for late night munchies while drinking. The popcorn chicken is okay but nothing special unfortunately. The shrimp chips are a great order to nibble on with the drinks. Very friendly service, knowledgeable about the drinks. Small space but seats comfortably. Music is low enough volume to facilitate socializing. Will certainly recommend and will be back!

Nice spot to grab a drink. Fried chicken was crispy and delicious with a pitcher of beer! Great for sharing. Will have to go back and try their cocktails.

Worth Trying. Would come back to this place - got lucky at 10pm with a table for 6, otherwise packed. Tried their namesake drink. Comes out smoked, tastes more like a meaty meal and licorice. Slightly sweet. Low spirits. Drinks $23+ Doesn't take AMEX.

I really enjoyed the ambiance of this small and cozy bar. I ordered the MoMo cocktail which was really delicious and sweet. Only complaint is that the drink was filled with ice to the very top, so not really worth the $16. I ordered a few dishes from their small food menu. Shrimp Chips were delish, I could snack on these all night! Beef Dumplings and Noodles came out lukewarm and were just alright.

I could say this is like Big Trouble bar with diversity? Drinks were mediocre, ambiance was good. I can’t say much for the food as I haven’t tried it. The Opium bar is a decent option if you’re looking to kill time before getting into a waitlisted place..

A small, moody and cozy cocktail bar. A fun and quirky house cocktail menu that utilizes many Asian liquors, bitters and flavours. Their snack menu is perfect for grazing and lingering bites in between sips of beautifully crafted cocktails. I do feel that the cocktails are the highlight of this spot and the food is just a companion. A super chill spot for drinks!

The cocktails here are really interesting and unique and there seems to be an option for everyone's tastes. Great if you want to try something new. The snacks are also amazing and I would definitely recommend the gyoza, takoyaki, and fried chicken as well. Shrimp chips were also delicious crunchy and fresh. They keep things fresh with a rotating menu so you can also rest assured that there will always be something new here.

Small bar with asian inspired menu, had good vibes and great snacks. I was snacking all night on their shrimp chips and takoyaki, just fantastic bar food! I tried a few drinks and only really liked the house signature drink, the opium.

My friends and I had an excellent time here for a birthday on a Saturday night. We were a large group of 10 so I contacted them ahead of time to make a reservation and was able to set that up quickly and easily with Michael. The service was excellent, they were all very friendly and accommodating. The food (easy to share) and drinks were amazing, especially the fried chicken and the Honeydew and Momo cocktails. The place has a really nice, laid back atmosphere. I definitely see myself coming back here.

Great cocktails and atmosphere. Momo and Feng shui are my favourite two cocktails. Both very fruity and kinda sweet. Amazing bar for a night out to chat with friends.

The price for their food (snacks) were kind of ridiculous. The portions were extremely small, not really worth the money. The drinks were quite good but very expensive. I got the momo and it was $20. As for their service, I feel like they were extremely unorganized and not welcoming at all. I went with a large group which we called and reserved weeks in advance. They did not seem to know how to handle a big crowd, they seemed anxious and overwhelmed. However, our group filled up 2/3 of the bar but thats just how their regular busy nights would look like so it should have been familiar to them.

As someone who tried almost every drink on the menu, this place is a hidden gem. The drinks are very well thought out and are delicious, each one bringing in new and amazing flavours. The vibe of the place is extremely relaxing, perfect place to visit after work. A special shoutout to both Austin and Michael. Both are great bartenders, hold a great conversation and show great passion for their craft. Both have shown to have great knowledge of the spirits they have and are quick to come up with custom orders (although the menu is already amazing). Highly recommend visiting Opium, great vibes and delicious drinks.

Rented the Opium Bar out for a private event and it went perfectly. All the staff were organized and friendly, the cost was reasonable, the food was delicious and the drinks were on point. I had visited the bar once before with my husband on a regular day to make our decision about renting it and everything was just as good. It was impressive that they could maintain the same quality of food, drinks and service for a private event of 40+ people as a regular day with far fewer customers. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a private event.

First time at Opium bar was great. having a kitchen that is open late was wonderful. The Fried Chicken was a huge hit. The Fries were crisp and salty. The dumplings had that right amount heat and bite. Drink and beer menu was good! It would be great to have some variety in what Soju flavors were available but our party left with big smiles on our faces.

Wanting a low key vibe, we stopped for some quick cocktails and a bite. Kitchen is open to 1am which is a huge plus. Cocktails were creative and delicious. Food was a little more hit and miss.

such a cute and aesthetic place! a perfect place for photos that give the late night mystery vibes, and service there was impeccable. my friends and i had a few drinks and snacks, and though the drinks may be on the pricier side, they are for sure worth every cent with both taste and presentation. would definitely come back again if i ever get the chance!

Dined here for ‘Asialicious’ and the eats were underwhelming. The skewers were dry with a little too much cumin. The wings were small but juicy still. The drinks weren’t bad, though they did taste watered down…and speaking of the drinks- the cocktail names are kitschy and a bit on the nose. But it’s expected at place called “opium bar”.

Nice little spot with some interesting drinks and a small selection of food. Had the shrimp main course which was good but didn't come close to filling me. Great for a hangout and dinner foods if that's what you're looking for.

Went with my friends a couple weeks ago. This place is really chill. If you are hanging out with friends and wanna grab a drink in dt, I definitely recommended!! Personally, I think their lychee cocktail is the best!!! Not too sweet, not too sour. I wish I could have more fresh lychee lmao. It’s the perfect drink!!! YOU MUST TRY! My boy ordered the melon cocktail and he loves it. The drink was inspired by the Korean Melona ice cream I believe. We were quite hungry when we got there last time so we tried all the food on their menu. I would say their handmade dumplings, the opium chickens are the must-try ones. Fries good too. Anywayyy, love the decorations, the vibes. I would definitely visit again mainly for the drinks!!!! Btw, the service is awesome!! Love you Cissy >3

Cute little place with themed decor and fun cocktails. I enjoyed the beef skewers and popcorn chicken as snacks. The washrooms are also super cute for a quick selfie.

The Opium Bar is a hidden gem where cocktails are pure artistry and fried chicken is a revelation. The mixology here is unparalleled—each drink is a symphony of flavors. And don't miss the fried chicken; it's a crispy, flavorful delight. The bar's ambiance is captivating, a perfect blend of modern elegance and comfort. Whether for drinks, bites, or ambiance, The Opium Bar is an exceptional experience that lingers on the senses.

Absolutely amazing, worth every penny for this unique experience. I've gone there a few times, and every time I do, the inventive, wonderfully crafted, and wholly original cocktails blow my mind. The cocktail house had a welcoming atmosphere, with dim lighting and comfortable seating arrangements. The drinks at the cocktail house were expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of flavors and just the right amount of alcohol. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to explain the ingredients and techniques used in each cocktail. The service at the cocktail house was excellent, and the server was a key part of making my evening memorable ( Especially Annie Chen, she was the best service I've ever met). The food served was also delicious and paired well with the drinks. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the drinks and the overall experience. Overall, the cocktail house was a great spot for a night out with friends or a romantic date, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality cocktail experience.

👍 Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
