👍👍 It was very cool checking out Toronto’s oldest light house. I’ve been everywhere in this city and didn’t know this existed until I went to the Toronto island. You cannot go inside (as far as I know) but definitely cool to look at and read about. It’s a nice little historical attraction on the Toront... People often mention island,

Came here a couple years back for a wedding and fell in love with the whole venue. The staff was amazing and had everything on point. Super friendly and made everything just perfect. It's like the perfect hideaway in the middle of the city. Hope i don't need a wedding to come back to this tranquil setting. Thanks for eveything, you made it the perfect night not only for the lucky couple but everyone involved and invited

Island lifestyle is not complete without resident artists keeping said lifestyle in check - laid back, hip, artsy, colourful.

The island is amazing. This unique space is for artists to get their creative on in a natural environment. It's busy depending on the season, summer can be packed with people, but they tend to spend most of the time in the centre island and don't travel around much. The whole island experience, going slowly and taking in places like this one, will take about a day.

Wonderful retreat from the city that offers residencies at affordable prices for working and emerging artists . Right near the beach, feels like you aren't anywhere near the city. Ghostly quiet in the winter.

Lived here for a month my wife's artistic residency. This will remain as one of the memorable experience of our life. It's heart of island culture, stories of struggle and overcoming obstacles to retain its unique heritage. This is also first in Canada we felt there us community and people knows us on every corners and street. It was not typical romantic utopia people normally assume. It was real community feeling. And staffs here most frirndliest people in Toronto.

The staff at Artscape Gibraltar Point made our company event go off without a hitch! They were super attentive and accommodating. The facility itself was very comfortable for our 100+ guests. We opted for the sound system package as well as the games package which were great. Easy access to the beach. Thank you Samantha and Daniel!

Attended a wedding here recently and everything was lovely. The staff was attentive and courteous, the food was delicious, and the drinks were generous. Only thing that would have minimized a bit of uncertainty would be signs posted (or more clearly posted if there were and I just couldn’t see them) for where the restrooms are.

Applied for a residency and sent several emails and was never even acknowledged once. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

Quiet point on the island with good views of Lake Ontario. There is a small rock groyne that you can climb out on to. Not much to do here, but it's a quiet place to relax. The nearby Gibraltar Beach is secluded with nice sand.
