Love this little park in the middle of a busy street

With the road construction work in full swing for a month just to the west of this parkette, this little oasis is a bit of semi peaceful solitude. Complete with a garden with Black Eyed Susan's and Russian sage, it even has a built in concrete checker/ chest board.

The redo is nice, with nice benches, but it looks pretty silly with just the one swing and nothing else

Very cool of this park to have recycling. Good place for lunch.

A pleasant surprise: several long park benches, some well shaded, and two in direct sunlight when I was there, mid-afternoon. Back part is accessed from a laneway and was recently improved, so unexpectedly quiet despite Dundas St. traffic. Will come again!
