YWCA ELM CENTRE MANAGEMENT (FOR TENANTS) AWOL AND PATRONIZING Management routinely ignores Tenants' requests for Move-In Walk-Thrus, and Maintenance Requests (even when proper forms submitted 3 or more times) and maintains only 1 Elevator (out of 2) obstructing a Service Elevator requirement for Third-Party Moving Contractors. Tenants' subsequent telephone calls to Management Administrators not returned, granting the impression that Property Management at this location is above accountability to its (Female) Tenants (within a supposed non-discriminatory environment), to the General Public, to its Individual generous Donors, to the United Way, to The City of Toronto, etc. It is unfortunate that a YWCA Building where Staff and Funding are supposedly dedicated to the "Healing and Learning" of Women ensnares any such opportunities with non-responses to basic Tenant requirements, forcing repeated (non-addressed) efforts, and recourse to The Human Rights Tribunal, and the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Rodent issue at Elm. They did not block up a giant hole in the wall which property services was informed of several times over the past year leading to mice getting into my unit. Front Desk didn't update me as promised on whether they took care of it, nor did they bother picking up the phone.

I was just there for a meeting but it was nice and modern inside the part I saw.

I was accepted into a free cybersecurity program, but I later realized that they were using me as a real-life example to demonstrate hacking techniques to students. I believe the YWCA compromised my computer and personal information. Instructors seemed to pressure me during the course. While they may have taken my hard drive, they aren't aware that I have cloud backups of all the sessions. I'm concerned that their "free" offer comes at the cost of one's personal safety and information. I had interactions with Sepideh and Barbara that raised concerns.

We booked two rooms and the rotunda. Nancy's auditorium is terrific. You could do a full stage show if you wanted. The board room is smaller, and completely adequate for what we needed. The internet service is lightning fast. the staff is friendly and helpful. It's an excellent venue at a fantastic price downtown.

Very good space for meetings. Solid sound system, acoustics, lighting. And the YWCA does terrific and important work. Looking for a place to hold your next meeting, while still getting out of the office? This is your place.

Very nice building, renovated and new inside. I was here several times for community events and networking as an employer with graduates of their IT training program, who are all eager and smart.

I was part of a group who rented conference room space. All the rooms we used (on the second and third floors) were clean, and had great projector systems. We brought outside food and the Y staff helped us dispose of the discarded trays, holders, leftover condiments etc. The restrooms were always clean. It was an overall great experience for a conference.
