We love Percival Landing. The park is fun for all ages and the bathrooms are well maintained. It's a great boardwalk to walk along, bring your pup for a walk as well. Many local artists have art installations to enjoy as well. Access to the water front via the marina makes for a great location for photos. We feel lucky to live in the PNW.

05/13/23: It is a nice place for walking and enjoying gorgeous views. There were some small markets opening earlier morning. I enjoyed walking around, breathing some d*** fresh air, and overseeing the Olympia horizon. I hope I could have spent time here. This is one of my go-to places in Olympia

Clean and peaceful place with fantastic views of the capitol building and the cascade mountain range. There's a publicly accessible, free, 3 story tower you can walk the stairs up for even better views, and a dock everyone can go on for a closer look at the water. Plenty of benches/seating available for rest breaks or a nice lunch.

Quaint little shelter / park close to downtown. Great place to hangout during summer nights. Pictorius views of Olympia downtown, marina, Port plaza, bay (water views)

I love walking on this boardwalk along the Sound. The marina is beautiful, there's usually some good wildlife watching, and on a clear day you can see the Olympics in the distance. There's a playground and a large lawn for running around, perfect for kids. The public restrooms have been really clean, too, the times I've used them. 2 hours of free parking in the small lot if you can find a spot. There are also some sculptures that add a touch of "artsy" to the experience, too.

We've adored this part of living here - a 10-minute drive gets us to a well-maintained boardwalk where we can smell salt in the air, watch boats glide by, and see the occasional sea critter. It's an urban shore, so is sometimes a little crowded, but sometimes just enough folks to feel connected without overwhelm. My 🐕 loves the smells and the friendly walkers.

Beautiful boardwalk with a great view of the harbor and the Capitol building. Many restaurants, shops, and parking nearby. We attended the annual Harbor Festival which I highly recommend.

Great boardwalk with nice park and playground for kids. View of the Puget Sound and mountains is so beautiful during the summer. Plenty of restaurants, cafe, ice cream place and food trucks within 5 minute walking distance. It is safe to explore with small kids and dogs on leashed. There is a water fountain for kids too across the street and Capitol Lake Park is nearby with free parking.

My family chose this park for an outing and we were not disappointed. The view was beautiful, it wasn't really busy at all, and the playground and bathrooms were clean! Walking the boardwalk was very refreshing. It's dog friendly as long as they're leashed. We also enjoyed the artwork peppered throughout our walk. I highly recommend this park.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Percival Landing Park [PLP] is a beautiful, modern, and well-endowed park that calls Olympia its home. I enjoyed my walk. The park is full of life- from folks walking their dogs, to artists playing music, to couples holding hands, to kids having a blast on the swing. I recommend this gem of a park to anyone that loves the great outdoors. Go, experience PLP yourself, and you'll see what I mean.

We walked the boardwalk because there was an extra large ship docked at the port and we wanted to check it out.

Didn’t walk the whole park, but judging by the others photos - I should have! This walk was nicer than the Heritage Park walk. Very clean and artsy. There are some restaurants along the walk and they all smelled amazing.

Nice place for a walk. There are a few restaurants to choose from. I didn't see any public bathrooms. Homeless people are around in the common areas but they weren't bothering anyone. No police or security around even though it seems to be a high end environment. 🙄 With the amount of homeless and crime in the area I would feel better with a sense on security.

Really nice place, large play area, sat and had a picnic in the shade of a beautiful tree. Watched people play frisbee with their dogs. There was a few people sleeping in the grass with there bags and blankets. Not bad like I've seen at some other places in town. Beautiful views of the water and boats. I'll be going back again soon.

Really, really cool place. If you're ever bored, walking... take some time to read the park signs. This place has some incredible history and amazing artwork!

It is not crowded and a good place to walk and sit while on a date. I only saw one homeless woman, and she wasn't bothering anyone. I had a nice walk.

It was a Monday morning. Nothing was open along the waterfront, and with the lack of people, I enjoyed walking in the light dizzle with my wife while looking at the various boats.

It's ..a marina. There's boats, a quaint little park. Transients laying about surrounded by heaps of rubbish. Nice art here and there. The water, by no major fault of the marina is foul. Not as full if garbage anymore but still can't swim there or eat anything in the water. ...I go there by coincidence, never as a thing.

Percival landing is a great walk through Olympia. Local art every year changes. The park for children and lookout over the sound allows you to see up and down the sound.

The park was beautiful and well thought out in terms of age appropriateness. The bathrooms are clean… like super clean. And the park is situated in a great location.

There's a reason this area is on the national register. Between the boardwalk, the water, the park, the public art, family friendly environment, and great shops/restaurants nearby, this park is both great for a play and a segue to more adventures. An Oly treasure!

Wonderful place for a walk. Lots of cool sculptures that get changed every year and it's always fun checking out the boats docked. Often there will be a surprising amount of wildlife, I've seen otters, herons, cranes, and jellyfish; in addition to ever present seagulls, pigeons, crows and ravens.

Nice public dock setting, great easy on easy off for most novice boaters. Nice little park near by and plenty of bars and restaurants in the downtown area. Walk a few blocks to capital campus.
