Incredible venue for food. Location is super central, the food is really good, particularly the hamburger, the falafel, and risotto, and the portions are very filling. The waiters (Tibbe in our case) are all extremely friendly and considerate and the chef (Spanish speaking) was so accommodating with respect to allergies and dietary restrictions In fact he stated that it was a challenge to design a dish that is delicious, nutritious and allergen free. Highly recommended, by far my favorite spot in Nijmegen!!

Cafe Opera is the place to be. The definition of a good bar. Really good quality when it comes to food and drinks and also, really warm, welcoming and helpful staff. The prices are where they should be and everything is topped with good music.

Located right next to beautiful plaza with other bars and restaurants next to it. On the high end of the price spectrum, but then that's expected in the Netherlands

Very slow service. Didn't even get my coffee.

Although the service was good, the beef burgers were not great. I expect a beef patty to be made up of minced beef and almost be crumbly when you cut into it. This beef patty was compressed and firm and not particularly tasty.

Asked about one of the drinks. The server didn’t know what it was and didn’t offer to find out. Service was really slow. One server was just walking around eating a sandwich. Toastie tasted okay (came before the drinks). The toilets in the cellar smell soooo strongly of pee they made my eyes water! Must be a leak or lack of cleaning. I don’t know.

Awesome people with awesome beers, the staff knows what to get you once you have told them what you like! Go there for the atmosphere (really relaxed), good beers, and nice people!

They are the best in terms of accommodating for your special requests. The quality and the price is unmatchable to the other cafes in Nijmegen.

Great place to grab some drinks outside when the weather is nice. There’s a good crowd there on weekend nights. The service is good as well.

Awesome place! The selection of both local and foreign beers is great and the staff is very friendly and taking time for you if you are in for a conversation. The outdoor seating are is very nice! Strongly recommended!
