There are not enough words to describe this place. The location is fantastic. This hotel has warmth and great character! Room was excellent, bed very comfy. The staff are the absolute best. Everyone is do helpful, sweet and kind. They are so helpful with whatever you need. Emily, the manager was out of this world. From the moment we arrived she made sure we had everything we needed. She sat with us to outline where we were on the Amsterdam city map, offered good recommendations, showed us points of interest and the different ways to navigate around the city. Best of all she had a sweet smile and great personality. Everyone made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in to the early morning we left. It was the best. It is no wonder why this is one of the most popular hotels in Amsterdam. We will definitely be back. Thank you Emily and thank you to your entire staff!!

We are here for a 4-night stay over the new year. Set in a canal house, this hotel is well located and the interior design is charming. The reception and communal areas are very welcoming, with water and hot drinks, pastries and sweet treats available to guests throughout the day. We booked a double room for 2 and whilst there is sufficient room for us to open up 2 suitcases, I should have booked a twin for more individual comfort. Housekeeping services are good and the amenities are adequate, with shampoo and body wash provided. The pillows take a bit of getting used to. The bathroom could have been better designed to limit shower spray to the shower area. Those sensitive to noise should also note that floorboards are very creaky. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

This hotel made me wish I had a longer stay in Amsterdam. The front desk was incredibly helpful and kind and booked a taxi for me to get to the airport a day in advance. It is a short walk from many of the major attractions. The pastries and free coffee were both lovely, as was the breakfast. They upgraded my room at no charge, so I had a roomy double with a canal view. My only complaint is that the toilet, sink, and shower were practically on top of one another, though that did not impact my rating. Finally, upon check-out, they gave me a bag filled with snacks and lotion for my travels, which was much appreciated. Overall, Mr. Jordaan is an excellent value and a place I would certainly stay again should I find myself in Amsterdam.

Perfect location. All major sites are within walking distance. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Special shout out to Quincy!!! Rooms were small but that's Europe for you so no complaints there.

The hotel's location in Jordaan is beautiful, quiet and very charming. The hotel was very welcoming and comfortable as well as clean and tidy. The hotel is close enough to the centre of Amsterdam and easily accessible by tram, but also far away enough that the area felt authentic and not too touristy. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in an authentic-feeling Dutch home!

Cute hotel in one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Amsterdam Although rooms and bathroom are very small, there are well equipped. Our room was near the stairs and we heard people late at night or early morning going up and down since everything is made of wood. Nonetheless, the hotel is pretty charming, service is very kind also and once you are out and about you realize its location is exceptional

This is a hotel with lovely touches. Free coffee, free sweets, pastries at 4pm, fantastic staff and quite quirky. The location was great. We had a triple room and was let down by a number of things - very small - no light by mirror area and only a tiny window so hard to get ready - poor shower design which meant water leaked everywhere I noted that originally they had us listed as room 65 but changed to 64 so perhaps 65 would have been better. The staff and quirkiness of the hotel pushed it up to a 4/5 as based on room alone it would be 3/5. There was an issue with overcharge on city tax but the manager assisted by contacting booking.com for us. The other rooms look better than ours, felt ours was a bit run down. My friends had a small double and that looked nicer.

We loved staying at Mr Jordaan. Great location, staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is decorated beautifully with cute little details all over. Our room was on the fourth floor - be prepared to climb lots of stairs during your stay! Although there is actually a lift, but it is very slow so we only used this when checking in and out with our luggage. Room was small (as expected for a city centre room!) but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the coffee machine in the reception area… free for guests and actually pretty decent coffee! We hope to visit again!

We stayed here for two days on our trip to Amsterdam. The staff was extremely helpful with everything we needed help with. The hotel is very nice and very clean. Make sure if you stay here you get a room with a canal view, it’s just lovely opening the window and looking out. I would 150% stay here again during my next visit to Amsterdam.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The Staff were so welcoming and helpful. We immediately got a run down of the hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location. So charming. We have become addicted to the Dutch candy they have out. The rooms were perfect and comfy. They offer one free soda a day per guest. Which is so nice after a long day. The hotel water bottle to refill is so lovely. Our last day we checked out but was still welcome to use the restrooms and gave them hold our luggage. AND I cannot believe the little Goody bag they provided with dutch snacks. So sweet. I won't stay anywhere else now.

This hotel is awesome. Beautifully decorated on the inside but maintains it's historical character. The staff is even better. Everyone is welcoming, helpful and nice. Loved the fresh water with fruit/mint on self serve daily in the common area. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Loved this boutique hotel!!!

A beautiful hotel. The staff were very helpful, and couldn’t recommend this hotel more. The rooms had A/C, very accessible location with the trams in Amsterdam. Will definitely stay here again next time.

This hotel is amazing! Very clean and organized . The location is the best area of Amsterdam. Super cute neighborhood on the canal. The employees are friendly, helpful and professional. I will never stay anywhere else when I go to Amsterdam.

I loved this hotel a lot. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The area is close to everything. We stayed one night and then I was looking for another hotel but comparing the other ones we decided to extend our stay here instead.

Cute little hotel with lovely canal views. The breakfast nor coffee were not the best and the rooms were super small but overall clean and the place had a nice historic vibe

This place is perfect! The staff is helpful and very attentive, and the rooms are cozy and simple. The location is ideal since it's very close to the center of the city while being just a bit out of the way so it's still quiet. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Mr. Jordaan was excellent. The front desk are responsive and answer all your requests. The room we had was amazing, overlooking the canal at the attic The breakfast was good too My only negative comment might be the cleaning policy in the hotel, the cleaning employees mentioned that they only clean the bathroom and change the towels on daily basis but not the bedsheets, they only change the bedsheets every three days which i think should be daily. But this is not a big negative, its just my opinion! overall its a lovely place to stay in, gives you real Amsterdam-ish Vibes!

Fantastic hotel. It is on a quiet street but still walking distance to all center places. Amazing stuff and a lot of amenities. Umbrellas to borrow, plastic bottles provided in the room so you can take some water with you and other. The rooms are nice and cozy.

I had a last minute stay at Mr Jordaan after my flight was cancelled. It really exceeded expectations. The service was so amazing. The staff go above and beyond. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are nice. The location is perfect. You can walk to really great restaurants. I am definitely coming back for my next visit to Amsterdam.

This place is great. Simple but well done. Staff is amazing and attentive. Very well decorated and comfy feel. Breakfast is great. I would highly recommend. Small suggestions would be pillows are small and the bed is a bit firm. They supplied a fan as our room didn’t have A/C.

We had a great stay here. The room was clean an the bed is very comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful (shout-out to Sing!). The rooms are a bit small but considering the size of the building (and all buildings on the canal) it's totally understandable. Would highly recommend!

Cute, clean, classy, comfortable small hotel with fantastic decorations that combine old and modern. Free coffee and tea all day and excellent staff. We also got a free gift on our check out which was a big and pleasant surprise.

Very cosy, cute Boutique Style Hotel! Great stay, really can recommend. Very friendly staff. Our room was on the fifth floor, so it was a great experience to have an open window, chill & spend some time in Amsterdam. We Would come back

Excellent hotel. Comfortable and clean, with dedicated and helpful service, free hot drinks all day, nice decorations and in a quiet neighborhood - but also a few minutes' walk to the center.

Small but lovely hotel! Rooms are not spacious but well organized and have everything that needed. Decor is amazing! I just love the art on the wall. Atmosphere is good, relaxing and positive, service is excellent and staffs are very polite and helpful. I just feel that service has given value to my spend.

My partner booked our stay at the Mr Jordaan Hotel and I am delighted she did! We got upgraded to one of the larger rooms which was very comfortable and clean. They have a lovely communal seating area by the lobby where you can help yourself to free tea & coffee whilst you plan your day ahead. The breakfast was perfect. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is great. And when we checked out, they gave us a complimentary goodie bag! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Centrally located, clean, functional rooms, great breakfast area, with good space. The staff are *very* welcoming. The rooms are *tiny* bathrooms are even smaller. We had the upgraded queen double, which was larger than some other rooms. But, for an overnight trip it was fine, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms are cutely decorated.

I stayed here for 4nights. It was one of the best Hotel I experienced. It was cheap for staying but all service was very nice. 1. Staffs are so friendly. 2. Lobby is so clean 3. Everyone can use kitchen or microwave and eat some food here. 4. Coffee, Hot water, tea, jelly is free 5. Room is warm The only thing I feel uncomfortable was the elevator. One guy which is the staff told me it was out of working, but it was just slow. I used every time only stairs while a huge carrier belongs to me. Also, There was a room contruction every morning. The noisy sound made me bit annoying.

The rooms are smallish but quite nice. The staff and location were excellent. Convient walking distance to restaurant, museums, tours shopping...everything. The staff was excellent. Each person we dealt with courteous, kind, knowledgeable and helpful.

Mr Jordaan is in the perfect location! We were walkable to everything we ever needed. The staff were great and stored our luggage for us when we arrived early and we were luckily able to get an early check-in. They were super accommodating and even arranged a taxi for us. The room was cute and clean, we overlooked the canals. So nice!

Stayed here for two nights, with my toddler and husband. The rooms were cozy, well decorated, but best of all the staff were fantastic and very attentive. It was wonderful to have a common area, so you’re not stuck in your room.

WOW Beautifully designed, spotlessly cleaned, great location and nice staff Coffee, tea and fresh water are available all day and for free. The dinning is comfortable and you can bring take away and eat inside. Very very recommended

The most welcoming hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The little touches make all the difference, such as the refreshments available in reception, luggage storage, the tray left in the room for my birthday, the goody bag when leaving and the staff! Hotel is in an excellent location, right by the canal, close to Anne Frank house and walking distance to the centre! Only comment would be the creaky floors so it is easy to get woken by people coming back in the early morning/late at night, but I suppose this can’t be helped.
