Lovely bar with great cosy vibes, trees and fairy lights, live music sometimes, very friendly barman and excellent cocktails. We didn't tried the food but were tempted by their good menu and reasonable prices!

Peter & his wife (and staff) are welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is fantastic, I've had the steak with their red (slightly spicy) sauce. Make sure you have bread or fries left over to dip into that sauce!! I've also had the Shoarma for the first time and it was full of flavor. If you're unsure what you want for a drink, tell Peter what alcohol you like and I bet you'll like what he brings out to you :) I can't brag enough! One of our favorite places. Can't wait to go back next year

WOW! A hidden gem. Dutch/Aruban fare, great atmosphere. They accommodated one of our Gluten-free guests. Lots of locals enjoying themselves. Walked in with 6 hungry people and the staff was supper friendly and welcoming. They explained the menu as many of us didn't recognize the entrée names. We had mostly Steak and shrimp plates, but they have many other local plates that I would love to try. Table service was fantastic, Pete(r) was our waiter, but all the staff worked well together. One of the best meals this visit.

Prices were reasonable and was frequented by mostly locals, I think we were the only Americans at the place. After dinner check out the jazz bar next door.

Absolutely the best food and drink with a unique Aruban ambiance which is fun yet calm and relaxing. Best steak in town and masterfully crafted cocktails! Located right around the corner from the cruise ship terminal. Flor De Oriente is an all around great experience.

The waitress was awesome, very friendly and funny. We had to wait a while for our food but didnt complain, they were busy and they still gave us a free drink each for our wait. We stumbled upon this place last November in the dark on a night in which the entire Island lost power. A very rare occurrence for Aruba. While other establishments were closing, we were able to sit at the bar and enjoy some beers and great conversation with the one of the nicest bartenders we have ever came across. I plan to visit again this year and just looked up their website. I didn't realize until today that the bartender we were chatting with is actually the owner Peter van Slooten. The hospitality was genuine. We are looking forward to our next visit and will do a more thorough review.
