One of my favorite lunches of all time and an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Elements. We enjoyed an amazing buffet featuring truly authentic dishes from Aruba. This was the most beautiful and tranquil beach area we found in Aruba. The waitstaff, including Manuel, were all incredibly kind and accommodating. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Our first visit there in 2020 was enjoyable. On our second visit (in 2022) we were left extremely unimpressed. Drinks felt watered down (we felt like most drinks in Aruba were served light minus some specific locations). The sirloin steak had no sear, was overcooked and the sauce was extremely overpowering. Authentic Aruba/Caribbean buffet was not worth the price and we left feeling underwhelmed. We will not be back unless the menu is changed/upgraded. We felt like most options were banquet style meals and would not feel inspired to return.

Amazing views for a sunset dinner. Service was super friendly. Some of the best we experienced on the island. The food, just ok unfortunately. We liked the eggplant arepas but the tuna tartar was not good. Flavor was off. Red snapper entree was ok but nothing amazing. I’d say it’s worth a trip for the views and service but don’t have super high expectations for the food.

Experience review - Nov 20th, 2021 Food selection related to specialty: they don’t have a specialty. They have multiple menus, an international and a vegan one. Also offers gluten free dishes. Quality of the food: very good. We had the layers of alps, the spicy shrimp and grouper. Everything came out as expected (the menu has pictures) you get to choose your side dish between fries, mashed or risotto. Get the risotto. Would I get the same dish again? Yes! Drink selection: extensive list of wine, cocktails, mock tails, martinis… etc. delicious drinks. Main course selection: tons of options to choose from. Provides free appetizers (Amuse-bouches): yes. Service: excellent. Everyone was very attentive and accommodating. Interior design: this restaurant doesn’t have an interior. Exterior design; if you get the private dining package you get to dine in a cabana. Ambiance: chic, modern minimalist. They have planters that light up around the seating area. A cactus and tea lamp on each table. The place is very quiet and they even had someone playing a guitar. Cleanliness: clean. The restrooms were also very clean. Value for money: totally worth it for the amazing food. Reservations recommended: yes. Cool factor: the menu is on an iPad and provides nutritional information for your meal. You can also switch the language and view pictures of the dishes. Very elaborate. Would I visit this place again?: absolutely. Would I recommend this place?: totally.

Great dining experience while having dinner at Elements. We made a reservation for 6pm so we could see the sunset. It was amazing. Our service was amazing and the food was great. We started with French Onion Soup which was great. We then ordered the Pasta Alfredo with Chicken and the Barramundi. Both tasted amazing. The whole experience was awesome and we would definitely recommend Elements for an intimate dinner experience!

Incredible ambiance, views of the sunset and after sunset are beautiful. This is the place for a romantic dinner. This was our second visit to Elements. The first visit we reserved a private beachfront palapa and had a six course meal. Amazing! This trip we reserved a open terrace table (all having an umbrella) the tables are limited because Elements chose to make sure you weren’t on top of your neighboring tables. Wine selection was ok (nice but not abundant selection) dinner choices were incredible. My wife had lamb with a chimera sauce accompanied by rolled beef tenderloin with a bacon mushroom sauce. It was the first time this week we took home a “falater” (for later) :) it was perfectly prepared and enjoyed. I had a Caesar salad before my meal followed by 4 of the largest meaty shrimp I’ve ever had. They were in a spicy white wine butter sauce. I had one left for later. Veggies were perfect and the rice was served in a separate dish and perfect as well. You would think that the food and service is a reason to come back but one of our draws was the welcoming staff - even the waiters serving other tables. During our first visit (7 months ago) Tamika was a new hostess who came across as a concierge service. Her attention to guests was incredible. Greeting folks as they arrived and holding a brief conversation with each guest to start the “wind down and relax mode” Overseeing tables and taking photos for guests. Her attention allowed servers including ours (Christian) ti focus on serving food and drink. This restaurant delivers a full, romantic, dining experience. Check sunset time in book your reservation 30 to 45 minutes before sunset but if you happen to miss sunset… In the dark of night, this place is unbelievable. Lighting/ambiance is just right. As a note, unlike many restaurants in Aruba, Elements does not include a service fee or tip… You’ll find yourself over tipping for a well-deserved staff. We will return next trip. Tamika and Christian - thanks for a perfect experience.

Loved our time at the elements restaurant! We had a private romantic dinner and also a regular dinner here during our trip. The private dinner is lovely with great atmosphere and very kind waiters. The food was also great, very fresh and great selection for vegetarians — we actually enjoyed the food during our non-private dinner more because there was more selection but both were highly recommended. Only negative thing to say is definitely use bug spray before coming as the mosquitos are quite hungry in the evenings. Drinks were also great many options for cocktails and mocktails and smoothies !

Can't agree with any of the positive reviews. Our hotel made all of our dinner reservations for the week we were in Aruba. Every restaurant we went to had our reservation. When we arrived at Elements, we were told that there was no reservation for us. The receptionist was very nasty. We then spoke to her manager who was even nastier. Although there were many tables empty, they told us to wait for 2 hours if we wanted to have dinner. There was space at the bar, but we were told that only hotel guests could be served at the bar. They were totally inflexible in dealing with the situation.

Love love love this place!!! The whole experience was wonderful from being greeted at the front door to the great customer service from our server. The food was delectable!!! Vincent was our server and he was so amazing. Definitely would recommend family and friends to come here and see my friend Vincent. I will most definitely be going back when I’m in Aruba. My fiancé and I enjoyed ourselves.

Very relaxing and romantic restaurant on the beach. You are on a deck right next to the beach which is relaxing. The waves and ocean are too far away to hear the waves, but you can see the water from about 60m/200 ft away. Food was amazingly prepared and staff was extremely helpful with any dietary needs. Since my wife is lactose intolerant, they subbed ice cream for sorbet so she could still enjoy it.

This place is behind the Bacuti and Tara Beach resort. It was difficult to find but so worth the effort! Our waitress was superb; attentive, knew the menu well, and even with some complicated dietary needs she was able to deliver. Set with a beauitful view of night sky and beach, the food flavors elevated the experience. Using a tablet with pictures and ingredients of the meals was an enormous help. What was ordered: 1. Pasta bowl with salmon with olive oil (in lieu of Alfredo sauce) 2. Duck breast with wild rice and vegetables in mango sauce (sweet, tender and fresh) 3. Mini crab cakes (crunchy outside, melt in your mouth soft on the inside) 4. Avocado tartar (definitely no holding out on the avocado. There could have been more baked chips to eat the avocado with) 5. High fiber smoothie 6. Nutrient dense smoothie (Both were so refreshing and complimented the meals very well) I would return In a heartbeat!

Super romantic view of the sunset. Would definitely recommend not even considering the buffet and only do a la carte. Service was good. I really liked that there were no kids (sorry but it’s just usually more peaceful).

Loved the dinner at Elements restaurant. Booked our table for the sunset which was beautiful. All the tables are set for unobstructed breathtaking views. The dinner was great, full of flavour, and colours. Our server was extremely friendly and knowledge about the island. Elements was the best total dinning experience in Aruba. A must!

You could dine inside with air conditioning and a great view of the beach area or outside on the deck with a stunning ocean view. Our waitress Mirna was absolutely the best. She helped make the experience a special one we will treasure. The food was outstanding as well. It was casual enough I felt relaxed, however if you dressed up you would feel equally at home.

Really wanted to give it five stars. Amazing views by the beach. Perfect sunset spot. Vegan and vegetarian options with great meat / seafood options as well. But given the price (and already factoring the European portion size) came a way a bit disappointed on the management side. 1) the menu are on iPads. But yet, when we got there at 5:45pm, there weren’t enough iPads (charged?) so we had to share. So picking our drinks, apps and meals took twice as long. Also, what’s the other person supposed to do while one person is checking the menu? 2) I couldn’t count the number of tables our waitress (Janice?) had. At least 6 (maybe 7-8?) in the main dining area and another 2-3 sitting areas on the beach side. For the price and ambience, I wouldn’t expect the waitress having to run around like a fast food joint. Bottom line, I’d still come back for the beach/sunset views. But if you’re going just for the food and service, there are better places on the island.

This place eat beautiful. Seeing the sunset from the sunset dining table, with good food, awesome service was just the experience we wanted on the last few days of our trip. The staff were very accommodating too. I would recommend getting a reservation for 6pm and getting there early to score a table in one of those 4 huts. It will give the experience of a private dining.

I was seated, was ready to order, and then was asked to leave because I didn't have a reservation. This was after they sat me at a table... Embarassing and very unprofessional! The hosts name was Cesar and he was extremely rude about the matter. I've never been treated this way at a restaurant before, and I even dressed up nice. What a bummer!

Many great things to say about Elements, first, our waiter Harrison was friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, the shrimp over risotto was delicious and last the sunset set off the entire evening. Please visit this place while visiting Aruba, you will not be disappointed.

The food at this place is so freaking amazing, words won’t do it justice. The service was impeccable. The view was amazing. I love that I ordered everything through and with an iPad, which I thought was cool. It’s nice to just have some really good food in peace and quiet, if you get my drift. Well worth the price, I definitely come back here the next time I’m in Aruba.

I only have good comments about this place - especially about the size of the shrimp. Perfectly set on the beach, even at night time this is a very romantic spot. Service was impeccable, the food was awesome (crab cakes, heart of palm salad, octopus/burrata to start, spicy shrimp and skirt steak for main course). I mean it when I say these were some of the fattest shrimps I've ever eaten in my life - and the spice was just the right level. Highly recommend for celebrating any occasion. The free birthday sorbet to top off the meal was also outstanding. 6/5 stars!

Pros: The atmosphere and service are very good. Attentive staff and experience is not rushed. Outside seating, overlooking the sunset...awesome! Cons: food was a little bland and uninspired. A just okay meal for the price of a great meal.

We booked the private cabana for our last night in Aruba and it was the best dining experience we had the whole trip. Alejandro, our waiter, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing, but his service made the experience even better. I would highly recommend to anyone planning on coming to Aruba, it’s a must!

  • 2/5 Gardy B. 2 years ago on Google
The location is really nice, but golly the food isn’t worth the price. It isn’t even good and the portions are really small. The polenta bruschetta was a good appetizer. Everything else was downhill from there. The mango chicken tasted like deodorant (there’s a long winded explanation for why I know this). Crab cakes and steak skewers were forgettable. And everything came in kids sizes. Service want super impressive either. Easy pass next time.

My wife & I closed out our honeymoon trip with a private moonlit dinner at Elements. The food was amazing! Make sure you arrive hungry, it’s 6 courses. The set up was great, we just relaxed & enjoyed some good food & champagne as we listened to the ocean. Our server Manuel was also amazing, thank you for the impeccable experience my friend!

My wife and I were lucky enough to get a sunset dinner reservation at one of the romantic private palapa seatings at Elements. The setting was breathtaking and we were fortunate to have a stunning sunset. This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had in our lives and will remember the experience forever! The 6 course meal was incredible, also included a bottle of wine, and our server, Yolanda, was the BEST EVER!!! Her attention to everything was impeccable and made the experience so much more memorable!

My boyfriend and I did the romantic dinner for 2 at Sunset. It was a 6 course meal with a bottle of wine/champagne. It was clean and left hand sanitizer out for you to use if you'd like. Our waiter was Robinson, he was great! The food was delicious and had the perfect portion on each plate, leaving us full but not uncomfortably full by the time we left. The sunset view was stunning (as always in Aruba). If you're looking for something quiet, romantic, and fancy, this would be the place for you. The table etiquette was exquisite. I would definitely recommend this dinner! It it $195 +tax but a great experience if it's not something you do often!

One of the, if not the best dining experiences on the island. The entire team is genuinely kind hearted. We started with cocktails at the bar, made by Israel and they were delicious. Each cocktail is about $12-14 ea. Well worth it. Tamika and Sydney helped us to our table where we were greeted by Manuel..one of the best servers on the island. We started with a bottle of white ($45) and the Burrata (really good and reasonably priced). As we sipped our wine and watched the sunset our entrees were being prepared. We shared the duck and the three fish feature. The Mahi Mahi was to die for. We also loved the duck. So tender and paired really well with the mashed potatoes. You have to get the risotto as a side, it is earth moving. We finished off with the pistachio creme brule which was perfection. Highly recommend this treasured spot that's both romantic and intimate. Loved every minute of it.

Epic. Best restaurant on the beach hands down. Food was consistently excellent, fine dining. We ended up eating here 3 out of our 4 nights, even when we didn’t stay in the resort. Service was kind and accommodating. Yolanda is a gem and we are privileged by her presence. Their concierge team knew us by name. Harrison was an excellent waiter. 5 stars service!

Definitely a must for couples in search of a romantic evening. The cuisine is fresh and tasty, and the ambiance is relaxing and of the highest caliber. We did the Sunset Dinner and it is a 6 course dinner at the moment $195 per couple and it was well worth every dollar. The waiter Jazim(I probably miss spelled) is very polite and helpful and attended to our every request. I'm certainly headed back in the future and would recommend everyone to try it at least once!! Thanks again for the amazing experience!!

Best meal with a sunset in Aruba. Located at one of the most beautiful points of Aruba. Service is impeccable (Mirna the best!) and Galina the manager attends all your needs. I celebrated an important birthday there and was very happy to have found Elements. Adults only which is great! The food is delicious and prices aren't exaggerated. Also they have a great selection of wines and cocktails. Last but definitely not least, they offer a vast menu of VEGAN dishes! Kudos!

I can not speak for there dinner menu, only their lunch menu. Our waiter was OUT of the world fantastic. I can't give Manuel enough praise. The lunch food (ahi tuna salad, gnocchi, and bruschetta) were all fo-fancy typical resort food. Not bad, but not outstanding. I bet the dinner menu is amazing, but can't speak for it.

Elements has earned its share of praise over the years, but we found dinner a la carte to be surprisingly underwhelming. Ambience is nice, service is good and tableside interactions have been modified for COVID. I was a bit surprised to see a high-gloss iPad app reminiscent of an airport kiosk used in lieu of paper menu, but at least we got to preview the plating. Drinks are standard beach bar fare, despite a separate mocktail menu with more creativity. Our appetizers were okay; crab cakes pulled most of the weight. Beef carpaccio was undersalted (if salted at all) and paired with a stale parmesan crisp. What the entree menu lacked in inspiration, I hoped they might make up for with execution. Not so: my ginger mahi-mahi had not even a hint of ginger, and it too needed salt. (I made a rare plea for sea salt, but we were given packets of table salt.) A $38 spicy shrimp pasta earned none of its stripes. Dessert cemented the evening’s rating. Our carrot cake passed as neither carrot nor cake, instead reminiscent of a sweet bread from brunch service, strategically hydrated with scoops of stroopwafel ice cream that would have fooled me for any other flavor.

I have loved everything we have eaten here. From appetizers, to lunch and dinner; if we had never wanted to leave our hotel we would have been perfectly content. The service is OUTSTANDING! It’s ridiculous how the staff here is trained. The ambiance, view of the ocean, and food are top notch. I would say it’s one of the most romantic restaurants to watch a sunset with the one you love.

Watching the sunset from the restaurant was amazing. In terms of location, you can’t beat this place. The fish was a little overcooked and the sauce for the spicy shrimp was a bit too salty, but it may just be a cultural difference and the way they prefer it there. The staff was phenomenal at being accommodating and understanding of my needs, so just be sure to communicate any preferences beforehand. A big thank you to the hostess — I had a rather rude waiter from the start and when I brought it up she switched me over to Yolanda, another waitress. Giving five stars despite personal food preference since these two women really made sure I enjoyed my last night in Aruba. Would recommend; it’s worth the experience!

I visited Elements on Dec 26 with my husband on our wedding anniversary! I must say, it was the most amazing experience of a romantic dinner I have ever had! Jenice was our host, and she was super helpful with her suggestions regarding the food! We both are vegetarian and they had a separate menu for us! All the dish that we ordered were amazing especially the Chocolate Cake! Overall, a very memorable experience! Definitely recommended!

We stayed at Bucuti & Tara, and ended up having dinner at Elements at least 5 out of our 14 evenings. Just because it was so great, not because we had no other options. The view on the beach is spectacular (want to see the sunset? come earlier). The atmosphere and the food are great! Pina Coladas and other cocktails are amazing. The menu during COVID is shorter than normal, but every dish was fantastic. We especially loved the crab cakes and beef dishes (skirt steak etc). Thank you!
