We decided to eat here for our first evening out on the island. Everyone was very nice but unfortunately the food was just okay. My husband and older daughter enjoyed theirs but my younger daughter and I didn’t like ours at all (fish & chips and chicken tenders and fries). The breading was the problem; just wasn’t appetizing (to us) and we’re usually easy to please. I ended up eating half of my husband’s steak and it was delicious! There was live music which we really enjoyed and two for one drink specials! Overall not a bad experience.

Water's Edge was the first dinner in Aruba and we selected here to go to celebrate the first night of our honeymoon. We choose one of the tables in the sand and it was truly awesome taking off our flip-flops and digging our feet in the sand as we had happy hour priced drinks and appetizers to start. The drinks were delicious and less than 6 bucks each. The Cesar salad was very crisp and fresh and the escargot was awesome. We both loved the Ahi Tuna and Island Apricot glazed chicken. We thought the coconut flan was the best ever (including nice custom warm caramel message to us written in the dessert). Our server Shaira was so friendly and attentive. She was always nearby without hovering. She checked back several times during each course and made the first night of our honeymoon extremely special. At the end, the Owner, Roy personally came out to congratulate us and gave us a bottle of champagne to take home with us. Truly a memorable first night of great food watching the sunset. The live saxophone serenade was great too.

Beautiful restaurant literally right on the waters edge! Everything was absolutely wonderful from the food, to the live entertainment and most of all the service! The owner and manager stopped by our table to greet us and make sure everything was perfect! They even gifted us a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary! Thank you for making this trip and experience memorable!

Live music playing in the background, what a vibe! I had such a good time. This restaurant is nestled behind the hotel on the main drag, but it’s always good to make reservations. As I got there, I was greeted by friendly hostesses. The waitress was amazing, offered me the bread and brought me my drink quickly. The appetizer was something with shrimp, so tasty. Dinner was amazing too, salmon with mashed and asparagus. Sooo good. Can’t wait to go again! Next time, I will make reservations for 6pm because by the time I got there, the sun had gone down and I didn’t get to see the sunset. I have to plan better

Took a stroll down the beach and stopped in for lunch, turned out to be a great lunch spot. Service was good and the food was on point. Have to add this to my visit spots when in Aruba. Will come by again try them for dinner or perhaps breakfast.

Nice beachside upscale restraunt. Reservations needed for sure. They do have alot of outdoor seating to watch the sunset. Shrimp platter and seasoned fries were pretty good.

The food, service and atmosphere was great! We all enjoyed our food. It tasted great and the cost was not bad at all. We had hamburgers and wraps. Everyone in our group of 6 were happy with the lunch choices. Iguanas were running around and were very entertaining. A great place to grab some food.

Good, but not worth a second visit. Water’s Edge provides a nice venue outside for a pleasant dinner, but . . . There are so many Palapa’s you can barely see the water. This make sunset viewing not the best. While other ratings provide a sense of “very good”, this reviewer didn’t find the same experience. The restaurant is part of a hotel complex which is a bit dated. There is a large bar as you walk in which is more of a local watering hole than something inviting for a nice dinner. Our sever was very nice but unfortunately too helpful, showing up to the table every 5 minutes to ask if our food was OK, or we needed anything. A bit over the top. For dinner we stated with salads which were nice but standard far. No imagination and noting that would stand out in a conversation. We both had grouper which was prepared quite well, served with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Portions were plentiful but not supersized. Overall the experience was underwhelming. We had never been here before and the rating projected something it isn’t. Be wary of reviews from early bird dinners. If you have a choice there are much better restaurants to enjoy while visiting Aruba.

We had a lovely dinner on our first night in Aruba. We have been to Aruba 4 times and wanted to so somewhere different. This restaurant is inside the Costa Linda hotel and we are so happy we found it. Food was amazing! The four of us had four different fish meals and they were all terrific. Choose any and you will be happy. You have to arrive before 6 if you want to see the sunset off the beach area. Beautiful night #1. Thank you!!!!

Beautiful views, friendly staff, and delicious food. Highly recommend the ahi tuna. We absolutely will come back! Update 2022: The food and service were phenomenal yet again! Hands down the best meal and best service we had on the island. Tried the grouper this time and it was cooked to perfection!

Meh! There are better places. The food was acceptable but when I made the reservation I told them I wanted to be inside for the AC. We .were seated in the dining room but they had the doors open so no AC. Tuesday night is Movie night at the resort so the theater is on top or very close and we had to listen to the rumblings from that, not very pleasant, and we were over charges on our bill. Will not be back.

We had a really great time celebrating our Birthday's. Food was great. Customer Service was excellent. Our Server knew her menu and executed it all on memory. Definitely a go to place in Aruba with live entertainment and Beautiful Atmosphere. We went back on our last night and the owner personally greets you. Awsome place🙌🏼💕

Nathaly was an amazing server who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience on my birthday. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. Our dinner, drinks, and dessert were all delicious! She was not only attentive but also paid attention to the details. She told the violinist performing that night to walk over and play “Happy Birthday” for me, the dessert had a personalized “Happy Birthday” on the plate, and she gifted us with a complimentary wine. I was overwhelmed with such a beautiful dinner and am so grateful for all she did to make sure I had an amazing night!

Very nice atmosphere with live music the 2 times we ate dinner here. The food is really tasteful, a wide selection of both meat and fish gives you plenty of choice. As the name suggests it's located close to the beach but at night there's not much to see because the beach isn't illuminated. The overall price of the food is pretty good. We had to pay around $40 on average per person. The only downside we spotted was those big tv screens above the bar showing sports. It just didn't fit the theme of the restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere with pleasant staff. Food was wonderful. Red Snapper was amazing, shrimp scampi was excellent. Coconut Flan was out of this world. If staying at Costa Linda or close by, best place in my mind. Fish and Chips with a beer at lunch happy hour cannot be beat.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday on our last night and Roy made it extra special. From the exquisite food, live music, beautiful outdoor beachy setting, our super nice server Liliana, and so much more! This is what Aruba dining is all about! I can’t wait to go back!

Great food and atmosphere but needs a Manager to see that people are treated better as customers. Slow service and not seated for dinner with several open tables. Was told reservations were needed and watched others turned away with plenty of tables open. Not a good business model turning away money.

Water's Edge Restaurant & Bar is a wonderful restaurant located at the Costa Linda Beach Resort, on Eagle Beach in Aruba. You can choose from outdoor or indoor seating. For a Sunday morning breakfast, we sat outside under a palapa and enjoyed a delicious meal. The atmosphere is everything you’d expect when sitting beachside. Nice breeze, warm sun, and several iguanas roaming around. I can’t think of a more perfect way to start the day! Besides the beautiful setting, the restaurant staff is the best on the island. Will definitely come back on our next trip!

We had a great experience here on February 14. Our servers were amazing and the food delicious! I had the mahi-mahi and my husband spicy seafood pasta (not sure the exact name). The location is great to catch the sunset, perfect ending to our evening with a walk along the beach. We will be come back. Loved this place!

So happy we decided to try this restaurant! From the great (and speedy!) communication with Roy the owner while initially making and having to modify our reservations, to the wonderful and attentive service from Nicole our waitress, to the delicious meal, we could not be happier! The menu has a great selection, from apps, to entrees, cocktails to dessert! Highly recommend for a night out or a family dinner. It was delicious, portions were generous, and the staff really goes above and beyond to make it feel special for you. We will certainly be returning!

Food was excellent, we went there for drinks special 2 for 1, however we were charged a full drink when I sent it back, it was a watered downmargarita. I asked for another in its place. I was charged full priced for both when I only had one. The waiter did not want to adjust the bill. Gratuity was automatically added to the bill. The waitor did not deserve 15%, he was hard to find and was difficult to talk to. There was another nonlocal family waiting for a table and were bypassed by another local family. They are money orientated. We left before the sunset.

I am not posting about the food because I did not eat at this place. But the options looked amazing The drinks and service are great! Both of the bar tenders were extremely friendly. Must try the mama Juana (Dominican in Aruba is a plus).

I would highly recommend having lunch here. We had lunch at The Water's Edge. It was relaxing and the server's were very nice. The prices were very good also. Happy hour was half price or two for one. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw the portions. See pictures.

  • 3/5 Natalia S. 7 months ago on Google
There are much better places to eat nearby. Size of the dishes is good, however cannot say the same about the quality. Poor service and there is a mandatory service charge of 15%.

  • 4/5 Laraib M. 10 months ago on Google
Very nice place with a live violinist. The waitress was fast and made sure our cups were always full with water. I was kind of bummed out that we weren’t able to watch the sunset since this place is advertised as being on the “water’s edge.” We were blocked from seeing the water because of all the palapas. The food also came in really really small portions. I ordered the most expensive dish that was advertised as “a rack of lamb” but it was really very small. The chocolate brownie dessert was also not very good. The brownie at Applebees tastes much much better.

We had a great experience at the restaurant. The view is fantastic, the ambiance very comfortable but upscale. We had the lobster bisque, escargot, pork chop and steak. All were delicious. The tiramisu for dessert was some of the best we’ve had. The service was excellent. They even presented us with a bottle of champagne since we were there for an anniversary celebration! Would definitely go back.

Waters edge is a great place to eat while in Aruba. You don't have to be staying at the resort to eat here. Dinning with great views of the beach. Service was good and they had live music.

We came for a nice meal out. The appetizer was really good and we ordered the $40 ribeye to share. We had been eating fish the whole trip and were looking for a change. It was extremely tough and had very little flavor. People were really nice and service was good. Lesson learned…..don’t eat the beef here!

Food was good wish she brought us the thing we ordered. I was sharing with my friend and ordered the seafood pasta and I asked for a side of Alfredo cause I can’t eat marinara and we were very specific! Then we get the Alfredo dish, not seafood and she didn’t even bring the spicy marinara it was just regular. Drinks were a bit bland. It was not a good experience!

We came here for drinks and lunch. We had a burger and fries. It was tasty and what we wanted. The location is really nice. There are a lot of good swimming spots near by. It's a quick 15 min walk from the busier part of Eagle Beach. Would recommend!

I had lunch here. The setting is really nice with a view of the ocean. The menu is pretty international that has something for everybody. Service was good and pretty friendly. I think it's hard to be disappointed with restaurants in Aruba but that also means that there is a lot of competition but I wouldn't mind coming back here again.

Food quality is the best we have had in Aruba. So good, we went back a second night for dinner. Starting with appetizers, the escargot is fantastic. We also tried the garlic tarragon shrimp. Excellent! The entree we shared was Spicy Caribbean seafood pasta. Soooooo good. Lots of scallops and a good number of jumbo shrimp. See picture. Nice spicy red sauce but not too hot.

I felt that the pricing and set up of the dishes was dumb. I went for breakfast here and every time I asked for something the didn’t have it or if they did they had one thing and not the other. The food was ok but nothing to rave about. I could make what I paid for myself at home and get the same taste and quality. Look at you options before you choose to eat here.

One of our least favorite meals of our holiday. Staff and location were lovely but food was sub par throughout. My grouper was lacking in seasoning and was wet and jello like in texture. Fries were cold, a little soggy and had the taste of old oil. My wife had ahi that came out like carpaccio which would have been nice but for the fact it was slapped into the side of a tower of mash potato. Sorry to rate so low but there really are so many better options in the island and for the price you can go pretty much anywhere so would be inclined to avoid.
