Went here for breakfast. The food was tasty and the coffee was okay. Everything was decent. The pancake was pretty good. Nothing spectacular but not average neither. I would come here again.

You get the best service here the staff all make sure you are taken care of what I love. Perfect place for breakfast until 12pm or come for lunch. Prices are really good here and a nice variety of dishes to pick from. I love the wraps or the fish sandwich. I always ask for their sweet chili sauce it’s amazing with chicken or fish and it is the only place to find it. Prices are truly really good for what you get. Seating outside or inside. Great place to stop to eat. I also love all their decor of salt and pepper shakers. FYI if bring them a set you get a free glass of Sangria on the house too.

Had dinner at Salt and Pepper one night while in Aruba. Overall a pretty good experience but we felt it could have been better. Our service was just good, not great. The food was also just good and not great. We did order a lot of different items such as Loempia, Spicy Beer Battered Shrimp, Meatballs, Parmesan Mushrooms, Mango Shrimp and Mozzarella Sticks and everything we had was pretty good, we just thought it could have been slightly better. We would definitely come back and try other things since the menu is large and the atmosphere seemed nice.

I recommend this place, great service, great food, hundreds of salt & pepper shakers all over the walls ( so cool ). I ordered a steak sandwich ( medium ) with curly fries ( so good ). To drink I ordered pineapple juice ( very good ). There was a nice breeze, sunny day, perfect for outdoor seating. 👍👍👍👍👍

The food was okay but ambience was good. As the name suggest the place has variety of salt and pepper shakers from all over the world , different shapes and sizes. Our server was extremely nice and cheerful, we ordered a drink which we did not like and she immediately replaced it without any extra cost.

The restaurant was clean, nice place, got food on time. Just one problem my French toast was on the doughy side. Family enjoyed thier food. Just make sure you ask for your check when they bring your food for some reason you have to flag the server down for your check.

Perfect spot for a chill lunch in Aruba. If you want to escape your resort and come get tasty food in the AC during the day I would highly recommend this spot. Food was tasty and service was good / fast. Mozzarella sticks were really tasty as were the Cuban and chicken shawarma sandwiches. Accompanying fries were very good as well.

Dependable place if you want a mix of American and seafood. I got the grouper sandwich and it was HUGE. The lychee martini was a bit on the sweet end for me but was good overall. The cheesecake was the cherry on top but it’s big so bring someone to share it with.

We had a Ceviche as a appetizer. Which was pretty good. They have a lot of Tapas to choose from. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger as my main. The burger was average nothing good to talk about it. It did taste like it was a bit boiled. The service was great. But apart from that. I don’t think i would be going there any time soon. Nothing that would make me go back.

Salt & Pepper is one of the popular restaurants on the strip. They serve breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. They offer a free glass of their famous sangria, if you bring in a custom salt & pepper shaker. That’s just one special they have, there’s even more specials being offered that includes their tapas. I for one was disappointed with food choices I made. I felt everything was just frozen than fried, or packaged and then served. I prefer a more hands on fresh approach to preparing my food. I will say the best part of the restaurant was, the very friendly servers. Grouper Ceviche- Grouper was rubbery and not enough chips. Was not a fan of this at all. Fried Brie- To me this tapa tasted just like mozzarella sticks, but shape differently. Also the mango chutney was not even close to what I thought it would be. Normally, chutney has the texture of jam. This mango chutney was straight up regular smooth dipping sauce. Spicy beer battered shrimp- Very greasy overly breaded dish. You barely realize there’s shrimp inside. Sangria- was ok, I felt it could have a little more alcohol in it.

Amazing lunch! The Cuban sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. The tapas we ordered were very good. The service was friendly but just a tad bit slow on drink refills. But that would never keep me from coming here again!

Had a really good meal here. Got 4 small plates to share and it was perfect amount for 2 people. The grouper bites were really fluffy and awesome. The Asian spicy sauce that came with one of them (Mahi?) was really good.

The food was good and Hot. The service was good, we arrived right before the crowd and the server went from on top of things to abandoning us,but I understand that it got a little busy and took us a while to get our check after asking a couple times. If you have an appetite, order lots of food, because the portions are extremely small for the price. The omelette was delicious!

A must try place if you are in nord. We went there twice on our 5 day trip and were pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of the food. Their tapas are worth trying and even the burgers and pasta is great. The lady who served us was great, attentive and took really good care for us. Plus their theme is salt and pepper shakers, they had so many different kinds that we were amazed at the collection. Apparently if you take a unique one for their collection you can get a drink free 😀. Highly recommend giving this joint a shot.

The Sangria was good. Could use more fruit than just the pieces of oranges. But it was refreshing and delicious. I absolutely loved the ceviche. I mean it was possibly one of the best I have tasted thus far. The staff were friendly. The place was nice and comfy but a lot of knick knacks to look at.😅 ❤🇦🇼

Good food and great atmosphere. I loved that the restaurant was surrounded by decorative salt and pepper shakers, there was hundreds of them covering the walls. The tapas were a little smaller that I expected, so if you’re ordering them as a main I’d order 3-4 per person. The fried shrimp was the best of the bunch. If you go on a Thursday, they have unlimited ribs for $28.

we were walking around palm beach and looking for a good place to eat dinner. Salt & Pepper had a bit for everyone - lots of tapas and appetizers as well as main meals. we got the grouper sandwich, the bruschetta and the chicken wings. overall everything was decent in terms of quantity and quality - nothing stood out as being great though, everything was decent the service was also average - nothing to stand out but average

It was a nice atmosphere, lots going on. Little slow on service but it was really busy! The food was mediocre I had the tuna tataki, kinda tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile, I expressed that I didn't like it, but he didn't do anything about it, I didn't eat it and It was still on the bill. It wasn't terrible, I just always expect fish to be fresh on coastal towns.

WOW! One of the best meals of our trip. The grouper in creole sauce hot tapas was amazing. The grouper ceviche was wonderful. The chicken pincho is a must. The bruschetta was delicious. BBQ ribs were finger licking good. I’d say skip the mango shrimp and spicy beef. They recommend about 3 dishes to be a full meal for 1 person. We had 4 people and ordered 10 dishes and were stuffed at the end.

The inside was pretty cool with all the salt & pepper shakers, but sadly Food was just okay. Had to ask the waitress 3 times for a glass of water, finally just got up and asked the bar tender. Wouldn't add it to my list of must do's

  • 5/5 Kevin S. 2 years ago on Google
Def have to try this place...chips and spinach dip for starters. Dip was really creamy, had cream cheese in it and it was perfect. My wife and the girls had cheeseburgers, which were huge, and french fries. I went with a steak and Gouda sandwich and it was pretty good. Just a heads up, they don't do refills.

DO NOT EAT HERE When we arrived it took asking 3 times just to get water. After taking drink order it took 10 minutes to return with drinks and take order. After waiting for around an our we were brought some of the worst food I have ever had for the price point. The food wasn’t expensive, but the quality was that of fast food. Everything was bland and had at least one other issue. Finally the service was horrible. Never came back and checked on how it was, never apologized for wait, and only was friendly when bringing the check. I wish I could say we just caught them on a bad night, but this is not the case. Also, the concept for this restaurant is dreadful. The entire restaurant is littered with tacky salt and pepper shakers which are the only interesting thing about the restaurant. The ambiance is horrible, inside has bad lighting and is very outdated.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and stayed at the hotel across the street so this was a short and easy walk. The food and the service was incredible! We tried a few different tapas and loved them all! My favorite was the spicy beer batter shrimp and my husband loved the s & p dip! My blackberry strawberry mojito was also delicious! Definitely recommend! Devoured the food before I remembered to take a picture

It's such a creative idea. Salt and pepper shakers are everywhere. The food is amazing. The service was great. The escargot was beyond perfect, I had to get 2 orders. We even got 2 orders of the fried brie. Definitely recommend!

Great breakfast! I really enjoyed the Arubian breakfast and liked trying so new things like the cheese pastechi and croquette! The croissant was so good too. It is very cute that each table has unique salt and pepper shakers!

Great idea with the salt and pepper theme! I hope to come back to Aruba and bring a unique salt and pepper shaker for your shelf. The cheese sticks were awesome and so was the spinach dip! We ate outside because the weather is always great and there was live music out front. Friendly staff!

Food was delicious and came out pretty quick. Cool place to eat and check out all the different salt & pepper shakers that people have brought in over the years. (Ate half the fries before taking the picture).

We didn't even enter the restaurant since we wanted to sit outside but Gilbert helped us and did a great job checking on us and also tips on places to go and things to do on the island. I got pepper and onion scrambled eggs with the smoked salmon which tasted like it was cooked in bacon grease and it was delicious!

On vacation in Oranjestad, Aruba, we ate breakfast at Salt and Pepper. The food was great, and the overall experience was awesome. It was one of the only places we could find tasty and good American breakfasts. The shelves had decor of salt/pepper shakers from around the world that were so adorable. If you donated salt/pepper shakers to their collection, you got a free sangria drink. We didn't have any to donate, so I can't tell you how the drink tasted. The overall experience and customer service were great. Make sure you go visit, donate, and have a meal. I definitely will on my next vacation to Aruba!

  • 4/5 Laraib M. 10 months ago on Google
I would have given 5 stars because this place had great food and the restaurant was very cute! However, the waitress we had was rude and passive aggressive. I understand that we were a large group and some weren’t as coordinated as others, but she was clearly not even trying. She would come up to us one by one and just stare at us. She didn’t ask if we wanted drinks or appetizers, she just waited for us to tell her what to write down. This confused my family and that further angered the waitress. We weren’t rude at all. Anyway, I got the chicken shawarma which was actually very good, as well as the spicy teriyaki chicken. If you bring in a cute salt and pepper shaker, you will get a free drink. The restaurant was decorated with salt and pepper shakers of all shapes and sizes. So cute! I highly recommend this place.

This spot originally wasn't a must try for us but because original dinner plans fell through, we decided to come here as the menu had a variety of choices for a simple dinner . Glad we did because I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and it was absolutely delicious! Wouldn't say it was exactly shawarma but they give a very generous helping of tender chicken and it's marinated in delicious Middle Eastern / South Asian spices. My husband got the ribs which were also really good and fall-off-the-bone. Got the spicy fried shrimp tapa that was also pretty good. The food here is also reasonably priced and no mandatory gratuity but we still tipped 15% cause the waiter never let our waters go empty which was much appreciated cause it was one of the hottest nights. One of the best dinners we had in Aruba on a 10 day trip. Give this restaurant a shot when you're in the area, you won't regret it!

I love the unique salt and pepper shakers all around. It's absolutely adorable in side. I ordered rhe chicken quesdklla and compared to home, there's no other way to est one. It's so good! And their papayas hot sauce. 10/10

The staff is nice and service was fairly quick. Normal wait time for food. There are many food and drinks options on the menu. Not your traditional options from a majority of the restaurants in the area. The food arrived hot and fresh. The portions are good, especially the Tapas options. The food was very tasty and would definitely visit again. Went for dinner, they also have a breakfast menu for the morning.

The new and updated S&P looks wonderful. It’s not quite finished, but looking great so far. The indoor dining area has been brightened up and is very comfortable and enjoyable. We only had breakfast today, and all three of us were completely happy with our choices. The oatmeal, a very substantial portion, along with my bowl of fruit was great. My husband had the breakfast muffin sandwich, of which he enjoyed, even though it had to be on toast. And our dear friend, had her normal daily breakfast she enjoys there daily. The service is also very good here too. However, the only issue is the lack of attentiveness in refilling water glasses. This not only applies this establishment, but at most places we frequented on the island. If I can make one suggestion, and this applies to all restaurants on this very warm island, is please keep your customers hydrated. Water, please.

Food is great at Salt & Pepper, but waiters/garcon is something… never ask you if needed more coffee, water, ketchup or anything else. Like your presence is bothering them. You feel some kind of tension there… will skip it We tried few more times- same thing.

Whole trip here we’ve been getting over priced food. Some good some bad… but wow what a refreshing premium meal for a economic pricing. The value here blows everwhere on this island away. If your looking for American food, it should be the go to #1 spot on your list. You won’t regret it

Had a wonderful casual dinner here last evening. We had been here before for Breakfast and we knew it was good so we thought we would try a late dinner. The spicy shrimp appetizer was very good as well as the Cuban sandwich and the cheeseburger. Service was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place on your Aruba visit.

This place is always a good place to go because their food is consistent and prices are great. You can have a whole meal or go for the tapas options they offer if you feel like trying different things. I also recommend their breakfast and the Cuban sandwich! Service was good and food was great! All around definitely would recommend to everyone visiting the island.

Just ate here with my husband and I would not recommend it at all. Cheap food, cheap drinks, great if you need to eat after getting drunk, definitely not a place to expect good food. I ordered the mahi mahi tapas, ribs and beef tapas. The mahi mahi was deep fried in batter, the ribs tasted plain and the beef tapas came in a stew with no side or anything to eat it with, just disappointing overall. Overall would avoid this place.

Went for dinner and everything we had was delicious and fresh: grouper ceviche, chicken skewers, loempias with sweet chili sauce and fried brie with mango chutney. Would go back for dinner again, but would also love to try breakfast- since their menu looks divine.

Good breakfast with cool interior, walls are covered in various salt and pepper shakers of all descriptions. Only disappointment was my husband drank 3 iced tea (glass was full of ice) and we were charged $4.50 EACH. That cost more than his breakfast!

Best food on the island! We ate here almost every night during our visit to Aruba and they never disappointed. Great food, fair prices and fantastic servers! Everything on the menu is incredible. Breakfast is awesome. If you get the Dutch coffee - it is super thick and strong compared to American coffeee so just be mindful of that. For lunch or dinner - everything is fantastic and their chicken wings are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! (be sure ask for a side of the peanut sauce to dip your wings into....pure heaven🙏) They even have live music most nights. Such a nice spot! Great place to relax after a long day at the beach🌴

Food was very good once we got it. Very slow and long wait time. We kept receiving other tables foods, and once they retrieved the food they brought it back to the table sitting next to us.(during a pandemic) This cross contamination is why the number of disease continue to rise. Other than this the food was excellent.

Food is below average for this area and management is terrible. Manager with red hair and beard most disrespectful and rude person in customer service I have ever dealt with. Would not accept food voucher after accepted previous day from adjacent hotel. Screamed and used profanity when I tried to discuss. Stay away from here. Many better places nearby.

What a cute concept for a restaurant. They literally had THOUSANDS of salt and pepper shaker sets all throughout the restaurant displayed as well as themed Christmas salt and pepper shakers on each of the tables. They were extremely busy which means the food must be good. It was very delicious and reasonably priced. Had a friendly waitress and got our food quickly. They had great menu options. We enjoyed the fish sandwich, the pineapple bacon burger, and the chicken sandwich

  • 4/5 Sharon F. 3 years ago on Google
There wasn't much of what I typically think of as "tapas" here, so if you can release your expectations about that, the food is pretty good if not particularly exotic. I had a chicken sate appetizer and a prosciutto and brie salad, and they were good. They have a nice big patio out front that several restaurants share, and they have live music. The one downer about that is that some people were smoking outside. The desserts were pretty standard American so I passed.
