A hidden gem, away from hot touristic spots, this place is great for authentic and fresh food. We tried the Fish & Conch and the Mahi Mahi a l'orange. Absolutely delicious. The pricing is decent - around $25/$30 per dish - The views from the terrace are breathtaking.

Where do I start. Absolutely gorgeous place and a lovely staff. The views are absolutely stunning and the food is even better. My waitress Sheila R. was funny, lighthearted and had no problem going through the menu with me and my friends with suggestions and explanations. The food was fresh and tasty. I tried escargot for the first time here and love it. I went for lunch around noon on a Friday and it was not busy at all. Lovely place. And I will definitely be back when I visit Aruba again!

Definitely a most place that you need to go when you’re in Aruba. I enjoyed one of the best seafood that I ever try with an amazing sunset view and friendly attention by it’s owner Ricky and staff. Thank you so much!

You would be hard pressed to find a more hospitable family owned restaurant than Marina Pirata. My wife had the seafood sampler and I the fresh Red Snapper. The seafood was cooked to perfection. Shelia and Sofie were absolute gold.

Wonderful place for a true Arabian meal. Barracuda was excellent, cheesy chicken was dry and replaced by Caesar chicken salad which was great. Love the ambiance and lighted waters at night.

We are staying at an Air Bnb not too far and our host made us reservations and it was perfect. A very relaxed but romantic evening watching the sunset. The food was fantastic and their drinks were pretty great too! We also made reservations again in two days!

It was our last night in Aruba and we took a chance on recommendation based on local people. This is the best food we have eaten all vacation. The staff is amazing and the owner came and greeted each table. The best service and food around.

Odd experience. Staff was friendly and the views were gorgeous, but the food was really mediocre unfortunately, we got the barracuda and Mahi Mahi, the virgin strawberry daiquiri was overwhelmingly sweet, just syrup and water, no seltzer/tonic water was used. The prices didn't match up to the quality or experience in comparison to similar options. YMMV, the wait for food for two entrees with only one other party dining at the time was around 30 minutes after ordering. Not saying it's fast or slow for the area, just throwing that out there if you have other plans scheduled.

I hadn't been there for a while, and (re)discovered what I had missed all that time. The whole dining room of this restaurant is built on a pier. If you're as lucky as we were and you get a table at the edge, you can see the fis swimming around and gobbling up everything edible thrown for them. The food was very good; I had the Fish (daily catch - barracuda) and Shrimp. It is served with rice, pan bati (e local "pancake" made of maize flour), deep fried funchi sticks (Polenta( and some vegetables. Very worthwhile, for visitors and locals alike. Great Job, Mr Doncker (the owner, who greets every guest personally) and team.

Excellent and fresh seafood. Delicious dishes and awesome view. Make sure to get a reservation for 30 minutes before sunset. Kids also loved feeding the fish.

We were very early for our reservation (5:45 for 6:30. my bad) but they gladly seated us at a great tale right on the water. The waitress (Sheila i think) could not have been sweeter and took great care of us. Unfortunately a storm rolled in during dinner and we had to move under cover but still on the water. For an app we had calamari that was ok, though the breading did not have much flavor. For entrees we had the Chefs special which was fish and shrimp in creole sauce with cheese. My wife removed the cheese and loved the rest of the dish. I had the whole fried red snapper. I thought the presentation was great and Sheila helped with the spine removal. The fish was tasty and tender, Sheila brought a pickled onion hot sauce and it really made the dish. We enjoyed all the sides that came with the entrees as well. The ambiance and service were excellent, I can only imagine taking in a sunset.

Best restaurant in Aruba! Great location, reasonable prices, and extremely fresh!!! Staff is friendly, Shelia was our server both times we visited, she was so sweet, and provided exceptional service. Restaurant is on the water with beautiful views. You have to try if your in the area!

Four of us went for "happy hour" one evening..and enjoyed it enough to make dinner reservations several days later ( for Table #1) A portion of the dining area is open and over the water. It's covered for sun protection. It's a relaxed atmosphere. The food was mostly seafood options. I had the shore platter. Clams, mussels, fish and a small lobster tail in a red , watery broth. It was tasty..but nothing special. The staff was extremely friendly and genuinely happy to serve us..it was disappointing however that a 10% gratuity was added to our bill and we weren't told beforehand. Fortunately we noticed. Since the bill was difficult to read at night..we could have easily added additional gratuity on a fairly sizable bill. I'm not a fan of this "stealthy" business practice.

This is the best seafood we had during our stay in Aruba, and not only that, but the staff and ambiance are nothing short of amazing. Make sure you add this to your Aruba bucket list!

Great food, great hospitality! While there I enjoyed the fish and conch dish and the fish soup, I really enjoyed the spicy onion toppings that added an extra kick to a great meal. I witnessed several schools of fish in the water and even caught a school jump out right in front of me... oh and the sea turtle was an added bonus.

As a sea food lover, you'll enjoy this place. Fresh fish all day long. Service was wonderful. And the fish frenzy in the water was fun to watch while eating

Great service, beautiful sunset, and good food - what's not to enjoy? The restaurant is a short walk from the apartment we had rented. Not crowded the evening we ate there, the seafood was fresh and excellent (and the beer ice cold). Service was great, prices reasonable, and how can you go wrong sitting over the water watching the fish below the lights?

This place ROCKS!! Right on the water and WAY better than Flying Fishbone. Food was excellent and service was even better. Our new favorite place

This was an excellent restaurant. From the moment we were welcomed until we left it was a great experience. We had fish and non-fish eaters in our group and everyone had an excellent meal. The staff were FANTASTIC. We will come back next time we are on the Happy Island

Super cool spot with locals and tourists alike. Quiet area with a great view of the sunset, and any bread you don't eat gets fed to the fish who are certainly nice for entertainment! I had the barracuda and it was delicious!
