We loved our stay here. My inlaws have a timeshare and have been coming here since the late 80s. Very Clean, accommodating. The timeshare is huge with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, large kitchen, dining room and living room. We couldn't have asked for a better view overlooking the Caribbean. Great place!!!

This is an older time share. The units are renovated and in good condition. Nice beach location on eagle beach. This is not a luxurious property but has everything you might need. If you are used to five star resorts this is not for you. I would stay here again.

Very clean an lots of space these pics are of the room an balcony. The gecko was are friend! I did add some of the view as well from the ambassador suite! Hope u enjoy as much as we did...

There are some issues with the AC and elevators but they're working them out and have been helpful in doing what they can. Staff is amazing. UPDATE: Everything is now fixed. We can't wait until we come back this summer!

Got to the Resort at 1130am Hotel room wasn't Ready and they Knew we have Been Here since 1130am. Why would you have us Wait until 3:45pm for Our Rooms! that is So Rude! if you know we are onsite you should tell house keeping to Clean the People Rooms Who arrived onsite first. Other than That The Room is Nice, Pool area is Nice and the Beach and Food is Nice.

What a great resort! Access to so many attractions, restaurants, stores, casinos and the beach is literally steps away from your room! Very nice and accommodating staff as well!

My wife and I have been going to the Casa Del Mar since 1992. We fell in love with the Casa the minute we arrived! The folks at the front desk of the Presidential Suites were so friendly and welcoming! We love the large two bedroom suites, as well as the beautiful pool and all of the shops and other amenities that the Casa has to offer. Since our first visit, we have acquired four consecutive weeks at the Presidential and the Casa is truly our “home away from home”! Over the years we have met and made friends with many wonderful people whom we look forward to seeing each year. The restaurant at the Casa Del Mar is “Matthew’s Restaurant”. Matthew’s offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner 7 days a week and the food is both excellent and reasonable. Transportation is readily available. All that is necessary is to step out the lobby front door and wave to a taxi to drive up and pick you up. The Casa Del Mar is the best little secret on the island of Aruba.

No AC it did not work the whole week I was there. Terrible staff rude people . I will not be back and this place is a disgrace!!! They rooms smell horrible I could not even put my head on my pillow without smelling mold. The rent a car battery died and they people at the rent a car place told me I would have to get a jump then drive to another location on my vacation to get a battery replaced … They were so inconsiderate. Please do not stay here .

First time in Aruba 🇦🇼 The hotel was great and all the staff were very friendly and inviting. Relatively close to the downtown area. The gym was one of the bigger ones I've seen on a vacation, but still your classic hotel gym. Nice store in the lobby if you don't want to make the trip to the grocery store to stock the fridge. Will certainly be back.

Stayed here the week of June 11-18 2022 The place is dated and the A/C not working but we were compensated the energy charges. One of the elevators was also down. The restaurant Matthew's was great place to eat. The casino across the street made it nice. Over all I would probuably stay somewhere else next time.

This review is written by a non owner who paid full price to rent the unit through the hotel, which in my opinion is overpriced. Lesson learned. Always try to rent from the owners. I will try to include as many details as possible in this review for those that do not own here and are looking to rent. We had arguably one of the best views in the resort with unit 1323. Third floor ocean view. Gorgeous. If we did not have this view I would likely be disappointed. The unit itself is very clean but old. The bathrooms showing the most wear. Master shower had patches everywhere, the fixtures are old and worn. The bathtub drain is broken, we needed to use a knife to pop out the drain as it was stuck. We had maintenance come for the small bathroom because we couldn’t shut the hot water off and my husband actually had to shut the main valve off so the sink wouldn’t overflow. Cracked tiles throughout the unit. The kitchen was clean but toaster should be replaced. The air needs to be adjusted. The master bedroom was always warm but the second bedroom was freezing. The fan in the master made a clicking sound but after a few days we got used to being hot when we slept. We didn’t spend much time in the unit so overall it was good for us and glad we had a lovely view. The overall resort is dated. The pool is old but very clean. inside is dark and had a dank smell. We used the stairs outside our unit all the time. It was frustrating that I had to pay additional to get Wifi, especially considering they are charging $450 a night! I found that the majority of guests are owners. We noticed that by 7am all the palapa’s were taken every morning, even chairs with umbrellas. Sometimes we went to the beach at 2-3 after our excursions and found everything taken but maybe 20% of people actually sitting in the chairs they reserved. We would walk to get coffee every morning and noticed that many pool side tables were taken early too. Had we spent more time at the resort this would be infuriating. There were guests with babies and kids (like us) that never could sit on the beach under the umbrella or palapas. I asked an owner what the procedure was to get a palapa and she said that most of them are out there at 430-500am putting their towels down to get the one they want. That’s not enjoyable or something I’m going to participate in.The beach is lovely and my kids had fun in the waves, which make this location very appealing. Matthews restaurant is great. All the staff are very friendly and service is good. Overall, location is 4.5 stars. Resort 3.5 stars. Room 3 stars. service/Staff 5 stars. It was a “good” stay but charging $450 a night, plus taxes and fees is excessive. I’d likely stay at Costa Linda next time as this resort seemed to be mostly for owners and not really for new renting guests.

You can't beat this gem! Resort is amazing, service is topnotch, food... well that you have to make it yourself :) there are restaurants around, but you go broke in 2 days if you dine there 3 times a day. The bar makes absolutely glorious coktails and yhey have 3 happy hous a day. The casino next door is so much fun too! So many shops around and if you need some additional groceries you can ask for the delivery. Will come back 1000%!!

I grew up coming to Casa Del Mar as my parents are share owners however coming back almost 15 years later the resort is the exact same needing major upgrades and renovations. There is a moldy stale scent that lingers throughout the room on your sheets, kitchenware and couch. The convenience store in the lobby is only open 10-6 so if you need something early in the morning or after dinner you’re out of luck. Some of the staff are extremely unfriendly and Matthew’s is convenient but does not have good service or food. I will say the view and beach are breathtaking and it’s in a good location right on the beach and near many restaurants. Also, santos coffee across the street is so good. They have old coffee makers in the room and it’s hard to find instant coffee. Like I said, major upgrades needed!

My wife and I have an ocean front walk out from there only small tower. It is the true definition of ocean front with only a small path between us and the beach. The ocean and sand was great there. Normally my wife wants to be by the pool but the water was so clear we never used the pool. I used the spa to get my hair cut, they used a straight razor to clean up the edges. Friends of ours got massages 80 minutes long that they said we're some of the beast. There was a small market on sight for essentials. The staff was friendly and kept the place clean. It also walking distance to some small shops and casino. It may not be the newest hotel but my wife and I agree that we would be back.

You really can't beat the location, that's why I'm giving 5 stars, the rooms really.need to be updated and Matthew's was hit or miss with the food (tuna tataki salad was consistently good.) But honestly, I go for the beach and location, plenty of restaurants nearby to walk to and one of the prettiest beaches you will ever see!

By far my favorite beach in the world. Although the resort has been around for a long time, it does a great job for it's clients. Amenities within walking distance are good. On site restaurant is excellent. Glad we came. Will be back

This is my home away from home! For the first time I enjoyed 2 weeks in my favorite vacation spot. The staff are amazing and Matthew's is a must for visitors even if you are not staying at the Casa Del Mar. Next year can't come soon enough. My sincere thanks to all that made this another memorable visit.

My parents owned two weeks at the Casa del Mar Resort for 20+ years and we have gone many times ourselves. We love it. The Resort is great and the beach is world class.

I've stayed here a few times but to spend all that money and have no AC in July can ruin a trip and they didn't care gave us no compensation This will be my last at this hotel

The BEST resort in ARUBA,!!! Excellent service from ALL STAFF!! Everthing you need on or very nest the premises! Restaurants, store, spa, gym, casino, shopping, 32 flavors, Walk from resort to resort, bustline close to take you just about everywhere on island! There is cab service....plenty friendly people from all over & lot tours, sites, & physical activities...e.g. dune buggies, partyfun bus, dinner cruises, snorkeling, scuba diving, see caves....much more! You can just relax in the beautiful beach!!! I highly recommend "Casa Del Mar!!!

NO AC!! BROKEN ELEVATOR!! FOR YEARS!!!!! Every year we come they say they are "fixing it"....it all boils down to mismanaged membership funds and probably someone embezzling $ from the hotel. I came here ready to buy by fathers timeshare from him, to continue the casa del mar tradition, but that is 100% not happening after I see how downhill this place has gone.

We have been going there since it opened. The apartment is spacious and well laid out. The pool is very nice in the ocean ocean fantastic. The dues have gone up quite a bit. However, it is still worth it..

Sprawling resort. Presidential suite with two bedrooms are perfect for families. The beach right outside the resort is somewhat rough, but waters calm down just 100 of so feet away.

Well maintained rooms and buildings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of activities during the week. Has a Thrifty car rental desk and Pelican Adventure desk in lobby area. They have their own minimart in the lobby as well. The only downfall I noticed in the upper floor rooms is the lack of water pressure in the spare shower.

Comes with coffee maker ( bring your own coffee) toaster, all kitchen utinsels included. Bring salt pepper and baggies haha. Grocery prices are high compared to USA. Casino 3min walk away with many outdoor shops along the way. Within the outdoor shops stop and see the coupon lady sitting outside. Ask how to get $100 in free casino cash. We did and all had a blast!! Fun games of Bingo at the pool with prizes.

This is a timeshare so it's more like an Air B&B or VRBO rental without the free internet. After paying over 500.00 for two nights, you'd think they could give you internet access but no... They charge for that even in 2021. They got my 12.00 but they will never get my business again. The staff at the desk act like they hate their jobs and could care less if you feel welcomed. Extreme disappointment! Oh and NO coffee in the room either but you can feel free to leave your room and go downstairs to pay for some. Horrible experience for those who like to wake up to a fresh cup.

Can't imagine nicer place, great resort. Would give five stars, it just happens that you can not access your room that you paid for unless you fork over $5 for a key, otherwise you will sleep in the hallway.

We've been coming for over 5 years now...every year...and we absolutely love this place. Nice staff. Safe area. Directly on the beach. Tiki huts for those of us who don't need to tan. Nice pool. Not the best gym by far ( you guys do need to renovate this ASAP...the weights are literally falling apart )...but it's something.

Room was great but very limited space on the beach. Only about 20 palapas for all of their rooms which is not even close to enough. Had to be up and out by 0700 to claim a spot at pool or beach!

Gorgeous views right on the beach. I like there is a separate kids pool and adults can be in the big pool. There are plenty of beach lounge chairs available, rooms that walk right out to the beach. Shaded grass umbrella tables. Walking distance to Alhambra Casino and lots of little shops and restaurants. The beach is very clean and water is crystal clear.
