Where do I begin with my terrible review? How about literally the moment we stepped foot on the property. When we checked in, everything seemed fine. But when we got inside our rooms, everything was wrong. We went to the front desk and told them our rooms had the incorrect number of bedrooms per suite. My family and I had planned this trip months in advanced but we were told by the front desk woman (Najindra, clearly hates her job) that those rooms were not available. We requested two 2-bedroom suites but were only given 1 and the other room was a 1-bedroom suite. The front desk manager then came and suggested we share the king bed that was in the 1 bedroom amongst 3 grown adults. Unreal. The rooms were paid for so naturally we demanded exactly what we paid for! Then, WE were the ones that said we’d go eat somewhere to give them time to figure the rooms out. When the rooms were ready (hours later), they still did not give us the right rooms but we were so fed up, we took what they gave us. And what they gave us was a room infested with ants. The only person I can say something nice about was our waitress, Sylvia. She was fun, caring, and hardworking. She was very sympathetic about our ordeal. Now let’s fast forward to check out (more like us getting kicked out). Check out is 10am but our ride service wasn’t picking us up until 2pm. We asked the front desk the day before if we could extend our check out and were told yes. So now its the next day at 11am and someone’s knocking at the door. When I opened the door, Jeanette, the housekeeping manager, immediately asked why we were still in the room. I explained to her that we were told we could stay until 2 when our ride was coming. She then rudely responded, “I don’t know who told you that but my entire staff is on the same page. You need to get out the room or the next call I make is security.” I have never in my entire life been spoken to that way, especially by someone in the hospitality business. I was so shocked, I didn’t even argue back. I told her we’d start packing immediately. Not more than 5 minutes later, there’s another knock on the door. This time it was security, Walter. This man had the audacity to accuse me of disconnecting the room phone after speaking with Jeanette. WHAT. Their phone rooms were working on/off the entire stay but suddenly that’s MY fault? Between these two encounters, my anxiety was so bad. I had anxiety diarrhea, ON VACATION. That should never happen. Overall, I loved Aruba but was absolutely disgusted by Paradise Beach Villas. Seriously, save your money or free week time share. Not worth it!

Perfect location to the Eagle Beach across the street. Beach umbrella and lounge chairs are free to use! Newly renovated rooms facing the swimming pools and the beach are perfect!

Staff was very friendly. I was able to easily upgrade my room. Pool was very clean and clear. Room was spacious, and cleaned daily. Located right on Eagle Beach. Excellent location. Local bus to go downtown or the northern beaches only costs $2.60 USD. Huge grocery store within walking distance of the hotel. Casinos next door. Groceries and restaurant meals are expensive in Aruba. Had to leave my salami stick with the US Customs girl, but leaving with the Gouda!

Great location on the beach. Just down the road from the downtown shopping area. We found lots of local eats 😊. Johnny cakes are a must try. Fried bread with cheese and choice of fillings. Saco de Felipe fried chicken, ribs, platano, Johny cake and fries. All in a brown bag Open after 530 pm grab and go. Kamini's Kitchen Funchi con Keshi yummy. Check in with uncle Troy he will set you up on the beach in front of the resort. Resort staff very professional friendly. We will definitely return to explore and eat 😊.

Paradise Beach Villas is a gem located in the lowrise section. It is great for families and people looking to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The villa is located within feet of the acclaimed Eagle Beach. The white sands and beautiful water are a treat. The staff at the beach and pool area are second to none. From the time you check in, one realizes that the staff is fabulous. The safety/security, maintenance, front desk, tour guide and housekeeping all work together to offer a wonderful sense of community. While in the area be sure to check out Asi es mi Peru, an authentic Peruvian restaurant located on the grounds. Paradise Beach Villas is a small yet beautiful place to stay as you enjoy the beautiful Aruba, which is truly “One Happy Island”.

Beautiful condos. Nice pools. Beach lounge chairs need replaced though. And if you want a place on the beach under a hut, you have to get up #6 am. The beach attendant puts bags on most of them to reserve and others save for their friends, that might not even show up that day

It's been 11 years since I've last been, and I can't believe I didn't just take charge and take myself sooner! I absolutely love it here. The service, cleanliness, setting, assistance, the pools, the tiki bar restaurant, the beach...everything is perfection. Jarrick at the front desk was most helpful when booking two off-property excursions with my family. I will make a point to come back every year, if I can! 🇦🇼

Nice accommodations. Not top shelf but beyond adequate. Across the street from Eagle Beach, which is beautiful. The place seems to have mostly an older crowd of 65 plus. Which makes for quiet times. No rowdy or drunken shenangan (even on St. Paddy's Day). Many places are walkable from here, and bus service as well as taxis are available. I would definitely come back again.

Was invited to stay here with some friends who had come a couple of times before us. As we get off the plane the wife says to me "We are not buying into anything!" All I have to say, is we bought, not 1, but 3 unit weeks. Can't wait to get back.

I came to celebrate my Birthday...It was my first time here. We had a 2 bedroom Villa that was very nice (Newly renovated). I had breakfast and lunch several times at the Tiki Bar and met the most Amazing Chef (Raul) He was very Customer friendly and always made sure everyone was enjoying their meal. The Bar itself had issues. Under staffed, drinks were weak , measured to the drop and given to you in paper cups that literally start to deteriorate in your hand within minutes. The Bartender Sergio was great...friendly and did the best he could with what he had. I did have a problem with the other Bartender, who had no customer service skills what so ever, but it was addressed with the Property Manager and I was apologized to. I must say that after speaking with Igmar (The Manager) who is fairly new there ... He is definitely open and willing to make Paradise Beach Villas the place you will want to return to every year. Let's see what happens...because I am definitely coming back!

This resort was very quiet. If you’re looking for a relaxing time at Eagle Beach this is the place to stay! Check-in was easy, towel card process was easy, maid service was great and the beach is super close! Be sure to get out early so Willie or Troy can help you with your Palapa on the beach! If you get out too late there will not be enough available. Was happy to see that no locals or cruise ship travelers can occupy the Palapa’s because it then would be totally overcrowded. Front desk was always great to help with a taxi and to reconfirm dinner reservations. Clean and nice place to stay - next time we come back we will consider staying here again!

Timeshare which is sometimes hard to book. Great location, right across the street is the beach. Friendly staff, front desk needs some help. Under new management, so we'll wait and see for other improvements.

PBV was clean with friendly staff, great location also. It’s a bit more quiet than other hotels which I liked better. The rooms were nice, clean and had all the necessities. Definitely would stay here again :)

Beautiful property in Aruba just across the street from famous Eagle Beach! Two nice pools? Outside pool bar with a friendly staff and two happy hours. Only negative as that some remodeling was going on during our weeks stay (Monday to Friday) .

Very nice resort. All staff we encountered very friendly, polite and professional.

PBV is the best! The timeshare rentals are reasonably priced and the service is incredible. The pool is rarely busy, the tiki bars serve great drinks and have daily food and drink specials, and the Peruvian restaurant on site is one of the best! Also, you can’t beat the sunset views!

I used to visit Paradise Beach Villas with my family when I was a kid, and I remember having a wonderful time. I remember one waitress, named Sylvia, who used to call me her "pancake lover" every morning when we went down to the hotel's pool area for breakfast. She'd ask how I was doing, if I needed anything, if I was having fun, etc. I was shy at the time, so I never got to thank her for being so thoughtful. Little gestures like that are what make Paradise Beach Villas such a special place to visit.

Beautiful property Eagle casino but poor service. Had to wait in lobby area for 2 hours pass check in and total lied to over and over by the manager. Bad way to start a vacation after getting up at 2 a.m. to get there no sleep only junk food to eat and then being lied to about your room. Too many employees not speaking kindly to gust more like giving you orders not request. Loved Aruba but will pass on staying at Eagle casino resort on my next visit there.

CONS: Not renovated or updated, outdated furnishings. Scratchy sheets. Sheets were not cleaned the entire seven day visit. Housekeeping great, but every other day. Water pressure poor. Beach Associated with paradise Villa has very little chairs and many of them are broken. Asked for a late check out - had to do some travel rearranging as my mother passed away while here. No! Wow! Not an upper scale place. PROS: pool area nice and clean. Directly across from beautiful beach. Staff (except reception area) friendly. Economical.

Loved our stay here! The whole staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. The food at the kitchen table is incredible!! We loved being at the beach and having service from the wait staff. The pools are so clean and it's not crowded like many other resorts. Highly recommend staying here!! We visited 2/6-2/11

We were invited by our close friends that came to Aruba six months before- Will, Teresa, and little Olivia. They loved it so much that they planned another trip right away and we came with them this time. We are SO glad we did! We had THE best time and Aruba was by far the most beautiful place we've ever been.....we are already planning another trip (since I never wanted to leave lol)! Great food, super clean suite, and steps away from the most beautiful beach. What else could you possibly ask for? The weather was perfect and I am a big "beach bum" that always looks forward to spending time in the sun. The island's laid-back vibe and atmosphere were just what we were hoping for. We loved every minute of our time there! We also got to meet some really cool people from all over the world during our stay. Our bartenders were absolutely amazing! To Ricardo & Sergio; We already miss you both!! You guys went above and beyond for us. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the bar menu and gave us great recommendations. We looked forward to seeing you guys behind the bar every day! You made us feel so welcome and by the end of our trip we really felt like it was our "home away from home". Olivia really enjoyed "Sergio's Special Purple Drink " and Ricardo always making sure her Shirley Temples had the exact amount of cherries to make them perfect. You both made our trip perfect and we will miss talking to and seeing you every day! It was awesome getting to know you both and we look forward to seeing again.....hopefully very soon! And don't worry.....I "only cried a little". 😉 To Paradise Beach Villas; We had an amazing stay and we will definitely be returning. Take care of those two amazing men! They truly made our stay extra great. They deserve to be recognized for their exceptional service and kindness! We just left yesterday and already miss Aruba & our friends behind the bar at PBVillas. 🌴 Much love from Chicago, Melissa, Ross, Will, Teresa, & Olivia 💙

Do you not waste your money or time with this motel resort because of the scamming and lies about this place. Also this place feels more like a nursing home.. STAY AWAY.

The room we had had an older AC unit that required running a dehumidifier, and we needed to empty the dehumidifier quite frequently. The staff make you feel special but then again, almost like family. The beach is located right across the street, and most every car is careful to stop for pedestrians.

The staff acknowledged you with a smile and a hello no matter who the staff was. The rooms were really clean. The grounds are always kept up. It is right across the street from the beach. The bartenders were great too. I would recommend this place to stay during your visit to Aruba

Nice place, kind of dated, but still a nice place. The bathrooms in our room were great, freshly renovated and very well done. The same for the kitchen. The rest of the room needs a little love. The ceramic flooring hasn't been updated since the 80's. Not that it's in bad shape, just needs freshening up. Having a spiral staircase in our room was not the highlight of my wife's trip as she has had knee replacement surgery. The pools were nice and the lobby was great. The WIFI was good and the TV's had a bunch of channels. Just steps from eagle beach. I would definitely go again.

4th time we stayed here, 1st time having a suite that over looks the beach. The free WiFi was five bars. We were probably around 40% capacity. We were suppos to come past April, before everything shut down for Covid. My wife, who normally sleeps 5-6 hours, slept 10 hours the second night here. All in all, would do it all over again.

The typical 2 star resort. Be ready to bring your own "consumables" (i.e. shampoo, paper towels, salt and pepper, etc.). They are "scraping" for every last cent of profit. They do have laundry facilities on site, but 40% of the washers were out of order.

  • 3/5 Bottle B. 4 years ago on Google
Service is excellent. Spiral staircase is rough with fifty pound suitcases. No salt & pepper! No coffee or tea. Location is very good. Lots of eateries within walking distance. These wrist straps like the amusement parks use scratch when bathing. I don't like them and they are a deal breaker for future stays.
