I have to be honest. Started off slow when I told the front desk about my shower and the film around the base of the shower because the shower didn't drain correctly. Once that problem was solved my stay was impeccable. Great Staff and they are so friendly. When you leave a place and you feel sad and there's a sense of sadness from the Staff you know you made friends. The food and drinks were great. The free breakfast was unbelievable. Free parking, just need your ticket validated every time you leave. The price was right too. No noise from the airport. As a matter of fact you'd wouldn't have known you were at an airport location. Samantha- server Fatima-Front desk Christopher -Bar Celia-Bar Marjorie-Manager Angilea- conceiger All were great!!!! They made my stay pleasant. If you're looking for friendly Staff, great price, and comfort then book at this hotel 🏨

We got a day pass to hang out until our flight left when our friends had an early flight out. Great service, small but nice pool area, with restroom, outdoor shower, loungers, tables, bar. You can walk right out of the airport and the Hyatt is on the right, no need for a car to get there or from there to the airport as it is onsite. It would be a great place to grab a drink if waiting for friends to arrive.

The hotel was attractive but food service was unacceptable.  Other than a credit card scamming restaurant in France five years ago, the Hyatt's bar manager provided my worst restaurant experience ever.  The trouble started during “unhappy hour” at the restaurant.   Long story short — supervisor loudly berating the staff and utterly ignoring us.  Arrived at 6PM.  Ordered 2 beer specials.  Out of stock.  After much debate, other beers were substituted.  This wrangle took 20 minutes.  Beers a bit warm.  Drank them, ordered cocktails and food about 6:30.  After 30 minutes of waiting, our cocktail orders never arrived so we gave up and ordered beers five minutes before happy hour ended.  Nada.  When we asked again, we were told that yes, beers were eventually coming but at full price since it was now 7:20.  Food came about 7:45 after multiple requests. Neither the bar nor restaurant was crowded, mind you. But it took well over two hours and many, many, many requests to get two rounds of beer and a small bar meal. The front desk manager (?) did come by and try to help.  After she left, our requests for the check were repeatedly ignored. The bar supervisor was  deeply angry and slow — and not “laid back Caribbean slow.” Just mean spirited. How the staff tolerated her verbal abuse is beyond me. Had to go stand in front of the register to finally get the bill.  Would not return on principle.  Unfortunate, because the food was decent and rooms were clean, spacious, and well ventilated.  Beds and linens are excellent.  Proximity to the airport cannot be beat. If you must stay here, eat in the airport first.  Seriously.

The location and condition of the property is amazing! A very beautiful property! I was really excited to stay here! I was disappointed to find the service quite slow at the front desk, restaurant, and bar. I've stayed at a variety of Hyatt properties and this one operates quite differently. One morning, there was a line at the front desk and I needed to get my parking ticket validated to simply exit the building. With my parking ticket visibly in hand, why should I wait 15 minutes for 3 check-ins to take care of this? It's a simple scan, but the front desk agent made it painful. There's no room-key parking validation at all. There were other associates around to validate my parking, but none did. While I don't expect any staff to work stressed, I don't expect to wait 30 minutes at the bar before I receive a glass of water or 49 minutes for a salad at the restaurant. There's a lack of anticipation of guests' needs, multi-tasking and teamwork. I felt like I had to ask for every little thing with restaurant and bar service. I've worked in the hotel industry with less staff, so I can tell when a reasonably staffed crew is uninterested in delivering service. I hope this review is considered when improving service standards and the guest experience. I'd love to revisit!

We had breakfast here while waiting for our flight. The staff was very professional and awesome customer services skills. We were greeted with a smile and the staff was absolutely the best. The breakfast was delicious.

Very nice getaway and perfect for the price! Breakfast was included and was a good variety that changed up a little each day. Housekeeping was every other day but the shower had shampoo, conditioner and bodywash pumps that were a good quality. Literally NO NEED for airport transportation (the hotel is 150 steps away from the airport exit door). Free scheduled shuttles to downtown and the best beaches. Spacious rooms, the Customer Service is good, hotel is clean BUT lunch and dinner was better downtown! It’s a good choice for a short or long stay.

During my 30 years of traveling, I have seen many Hotels with inexperienced and unprofessional staff, but it is first time I experienced this at a Hyatt Hotel! Last night I made an order to the restaurant for my son at 20:43 o’clock but at 21:54 I give up and went back to our room without the food I ordered for my son, my wife called me and informed me that our son could not wait any longer and he slept hungry. Each time I asked the staff in the restaurant I received same answer “in 5 minutes” and as I could see I was not the only one which was waiting for the food. I asked the other staff member which was talking to another guest which did not receive what they ordered, and she did not have a clue what is going on either. No body has a name tag, I feel we choose wrong Hyatt for our vacation in Aruba. "A happy island" is not where a child sleep hungry because the hotel staff can not prepare a simple pasta.

The rooms are good sized and nice in general. The restaurant is quite bad, we tried eating there two times but the quality of the food is just disappointing, especially considering the price. The hotel is not well maintained or managed; for example 2 out of 3 treadmills in the gym were broken during our complete stay.

We came to stay for holiday. We scheduled the day before to take the take the shuttle downtown. You have to re heat this device the day before. We were ready to go and they came late at 930 when we requested the only early morning pick up time at 9am. When the driver arrived they often didn’t know what was going on and confused about who they should take on the shuttle. This day the driver asked us what time would we liked to be picked up and that he would pick us up anytime we requested. I asked the guy if he could get us at 130pm to prepare for our dinner reservations and he said that he would. Well my daughter and I were left stranded downtown at the drop off point and I kept trying to call the hotel they put me hold then hung up on me and did not answer the phone when I called back repeatedly. After 30 minutes of waiting it started to rain and we got soaked. Luckily I found a cab and I got cash out the ATM earlier because cabs in Aruba only take cash. (Taxis are very expensive there). When I got back to the hotel and asked what happened the front desk simply said “they forgot”. They do serve breakfast every morning, but if you don’t eat meat there are not many options for you so be prepared. Also, if you don’t t make it down right when breakfast starts the food is often cold. I do a mediation routine in the morning with incense and sage to cleanse my environment and they told me that it was not allowed. I would chose not to stay at this hotel again or any Hyatt in the future for that matter. Make plans elsewhere you will be glad that you did. -

Price-wise, this hotel plays in the upper league. As for everything else, unfortunately not at all. The rooms are not super clean, for example, there was a lack of soap in the shower. The expensive sold great airport view is covered by windows that have not been cleaned for years. And now to breakfast: if you play in this price league, you should also offer adequate food. The buffet is the worst I've had in two weeks in the Caribbean in terms of selection - the coffee is pure junk from a thermo-pump container. You get a truly better experience in much smaller and cheaper hotels. I can only recommend this hotel if you don't want to walk far to the terminal.

Top notch hotel with excellent Hyatt-level service. I stayed there for a 1 week trip to Aruba. The hotel is by the airport but offers a shuttle service to take you to the beaches. This location is especially great if you want to rent a car you are by all the rental companies. My advice take the shuttle down to the beach by the airport then you can walk downtown. Ask around for a minibus to take you back for like 2.00 versus 40.00 cab ride!

Cancelled flight at 11pm, walked over with the family with no notice. Staff was great even that late at night. Pool has a great vibe. Clean, spacious rooms. Can't really ask for much more from a hotel, and an airport hotel at that. Well done Hyatt!

Stay here was very unpleasant so I checked out early and now they want to charge me with an early termination fee! I was told I don’t have to don’t worry and only will be charged for 1 night stay. Tried to resolve via email and calls but they keep enforcing policies instead to make sure their customers are unhappy. They need to do better. Shame on Hyatt Aruba Place for treating customers like this.

Excellently located next to the airport and car rental agencies. Check in desk located on 3rd floor so as was my first time there was a bit lost on entering the ground floor. Rooms are large, spacious and comfortable. Super clean! Beds are comfortable and daily coffee is provided and my room had a fridge as well. Great place to stay for business travel. Breakfast is included and was glad that it started at 6am (work visit). Lobby bar serves decent food and there is a happy hour 5 to 7 pm. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff are warm, friendly and efficient.

Very bad experience staying there. The room was tiny and had a strong new furniture smell. There was no hot water for shower( only lukewarm) and it seems that we were not the only one had this issue. Swimming pool was very dirty. The front desk staff lacked efficiency and not very friendly. The worst dinner experience. Took 1hr or even longer for the simple food to arrive, and the waitress got our order wrong two times. When we were checking out, they tried to put someone else’s bar order to our tab… good we argued against it. The only good thing I could say is the breakfast was good. We do not recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel is quiet and walking distance to the airport which is great. My main issue with the hotel is the staff at check in! Absolutely terrible, what I witnessed during my stay was unprofessional service. 1. On check in no mention of having to book the shuttle in advance during certain times 2. Regarding the shuttle when I finally booked to go to Eagle Beach, no mention that the beach chairs, umbrella and towels there were only for hotel guests of that hotel and I’d have to sit on the floor 3. Very slow service in general, slow to resolve queries, the list is endless. I’d advise management to really take the time to train staff as they certainly bring down the Hyatt brand!

Hotel looks very nice, until you get up close. The room had a musty smell and had some damage from water in the bathroom (floor, baseboards, wallpaper peeling). The room was large and comfortable. The pool area was disappointing with a section of the pool falling apart with rusty metal exposed. The restaurant food was just ok and the service was extremely slow. We were the only four people there and it took nearly an hour to get our food. The "business area" had no businesses. It was completely empty with all the shops vacant. Very disappointing, as the city is too far of a walk. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. The location is very convenient though, just steps from the airport.

Walking distance from the airport which was great. The suite was spacious and clean. Staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast is a nice perk, unfortunately it was lacking throughout most of our stay. Syrup for the pancakes and waffles wasn’t available for a few days. The scrambled eggs had a greenish colour. They ran out of a few other things at times.

Our flight was canceled so we needed to cancel. They would not make any exceptions not even applying the penalty to book to new dates. They wouldn't help at all. This was out of everyone's control. Anything would have been helpful.

This hotel is the perfect experience for solo travelers. It is literally across the road from the airport, the staff were pleasant, the hotel has a modern look, COVID testing is available at the site, and the rooms were spacious. This hotel is for those who want low maintenance while traveling. I didn’t need housekeeping coming in twice a day, room service 24/7 or frequent entertainment. Just give me my towels, toiletries and I’m good. However, Apart from the pool, amenities are a few. The beach is walking distance or 10 min taxi ride depending on where you go. No close restaurants walking distance but the hotels call the taxis to charter you to locations which made traveling much safer. Aruba is a beautiful place and I’d recommend coming to this beautiful country. If you’re looking for a place to just relax for an affordable price, ai’d highly suggest this hotel.

Amazing stay for our last night in Aruba. Rooms were clean and staff was attentive and friendly. There's a covid test lab on the first floor and you can walk to the airport in 2 minutes. The hotel restaurant was also great, I was able to get warm milk for my toddler when needed which was a relief. Highly recommend, thank you!

Stayed at the Hyatt recently, to be honest I was underwhelmed. The room was ok, and the service was average. I would like to say Danilo at breakfast was an exception as were the Alfresco bar staff. The rest of the staff seemed uninterested in the guest experience. Not sure how this is a Amex Fine Hotel and Resort.

Proximity to airport and good connections to hotels. Attractive rates. Meeting facilities and food and beverage outlets very attractive priding.

Excessively and ridiculously expensive, the rooms are smelly, like you literally can breathe, even though the staff is willing to help, the first impression is not the best, has no water in the room, you have to pay for the water, they don't invoice if you pay through another agency. The breakfast is good enough has many options to chose, not good for vegans.

The staff are super friendly the hotel is next to the airport but there is a local bus you can take everywhere no need for a taxi if you don’t want too

Could not beany mote convenient to the airport. Rooms are actually a bit nicer than most Marriotts. Restaurant was just ok as long as you stick to burgers, but I would recommend finding a better restaurant with more of a local flair.

Overcharging credit card. Not responding to mails. Sofabed was a disgrace. Not suitable for 4 adults, due to size of beds. No free parking. Friendly local staff.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very nice and courteous. I specially would like to recognize Cecilia at the front desk, she was very friendly and willing to help with anything that we needed. She went out of her way to accommodate our needs. The location is very convenient as it is within a walking distance from the airport. If you rent a car it’s also very convenient as you can park in the rental place parking lot. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk experience could use significant improvement. Considering this hotel is merely a 2-minute walk from the airport and bears the reputable Hyatt brand name, one would expect it to be highly convenient and well-managed. However, I was quite disappointed. I'd like to address the Hyatt management directly and urge them to invest in training their staff to be more professional. During my stay, I had a question about ordering a taxi and was directed to the lobby, which, by the way, is located on the 3rd floor. After waiting in line, the front desk staff was rude and showed no empathy when assisting me. The following day, I tried to order food but faced another long line. When it was finally my turn, they didn't even apologize for the wait and simply asked if I was ordering or not. Given the hotel's proximity to the airport, such long lines and subpar customer service are unacceptable. I implore Hyatt management to hire more staff and ensure they are well-trained professionals to enhance the overall experience for guests.

One of nicest Hyatt place hotels I have stayed. Very new and modern hotel with an good breakfast. Small but nice pool. Located short walk to hotel from the airport and airport car rentals. Downside you will need a rental car or taxi to get to anywhere; the popular beach, downtown or restaurant. There is 6 large roaming dogs kept on local restaurant property next to the hotel that barks all night. If you are light sleeper ask for room facing airport.

Thank you so much for our two week stay. It was awesome. Great staff, Visa, Cecilia, Fatima and especially the general manager Marjorie. We will definitely consider staying there again. The Sorgiovanni family.

Very clean, very convenience Literally walking distance from the airport. Only 2 minute max from the airport front door. This place is literally IN THE AIRPORT. And when you are ready to leave Aruba, you just have to walk to the airport. Internet work very fast and you don't have to re-login every single day. The computer in the lobby also well maintained. Many choice of warm breakfast items to start your day. Room is very spacious and clean. The only thing it might need is water fountain. If you really need drinking water: just get it from the sink (desalinated municipal water), buy bottled water, or get some from the gym.

The rooms are generous. The staff are wonderful!!!! The rooms are cold so definitely bring slippers and a sweater. The manager gave my family and I extra blankets. It's very close to the airport which is actually across the street. You could literally skip to the airport, which is parallel to several car rental agencies. Downtown restaurants and scenery are 12-15 minutes away.

I would advise anyone booking a stay at this hotel to think twice. I book a stay at this hotel for May 11th to May16th. I was so excited because I felt burnt out and needed a break. My cousin who was travelling with me also needed a break. She has been battling cancer since 2013 and just wanted to get away and clear her mind for a few days. I felt sick on Sunday night which was the 8th and thought that it was something I ate so I didn't think much of it. Both my daughter and started getting worse. My daughter took a COVID test that Tuesday and it turned out she had COVID so I call to cancel the hotel after taking my test too. I have tried everything and they would not give me some of my money back. Expedia email them on my behalf, customer relation reached out to them on my behalf and they still didn't give me the refund. They kept $241 of my money for cancellation fees. Was I suppose to travel on a plane, be in the general population and stay at the hotel to spread COVID to everyone I come in contact with including the staff? Again please be mindful when you are going to book with them.

Very nice hotel. Directly next to airport. Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good. Pool area is very windy. Not close to many restaurants or activities. I would recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel for our family Christmas vacation due to its location, and it's a newer hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of the airport and car rental companies. However, you need a car to get around the island from the airport. The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was excellent. The hotel has a restaurant, which is a plus. The pool area was nice and comfortable. There is a parking garage on location at $10/day. The air conditioning in the hotel is on freeze. It's cold throughout the entire hotel. The thermostat in your room only allows you to control it a few degrees, and even that is still cold. You must call maintenance if you want a warmer room outside your limited control. Bring a robe, winter pajamas, and a hoody if you hate the cold. It sounds crazy to have those items on an island, but I hate being cold. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast with an excellent selection. However, the food was always cold. If you want to stay away from the hustling and bustling tourist area, this hotel is it. I highly recommend Hyatt Place Aruba Airport. Note: Click on my profile to read the reviews from this trip, and the cold breakfast did not affect my five-star rating.

Our KLM flight form september 16th was delayed and resceduled to september 17th. KLM arranged a hotel for us due to this delay. We stayed in Hyatt Place Aruba near the airport. We where told that everyting was arranged including food and drinks. But after ordering 2 coffee we had to pay for this. They said that it's not included in the KLM package. But the drinks at the dinner buffet are included told a waitress us. This buffet was very disappointing. See picture. Not Hyatt worthy. No appetizers. No desserts. We had expect much more variaty. Wooden cutlery. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine. After finishing this poor buffet we had to pay for the drinks. Alcohol was not included. This was not told earlier but no discussion possible. Very unfriendly service. Breakfast the next day also very poor. Wooden cutlery. See what happened with the fork. No Hyatt for us anymore.

The room is humid! We informed the front desk person who told us maintenance doesn’t have a key to open the door to retrieve a dehumidifier. I have a cough that I am certain has come from possible mold on the air conditioner vents.
