Very disappointed. The room we stayed in looked nothing like the promotional photos they use. The kitchen is ridiculously tiny and barley functional. The bedroom is in the center of the unit and has no windows (meaning no beach view again unlike the promotional photos). The bed felt like plywood on springs, it kept me tossing and turning all night long. The A/C is ridiculously loud and right between the living room and the bedroom so good luck trying to get a good nights sleep. The WIFI at this place is a joke, you only get 2 access codes for your stay and they charge an extra $10 for each additional device you want to connect, however the ONLY spot in our entire unit I could connect was in the living room on the red chair next to the curtains. No WIFI on the couch, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, ANYWHERE! I also have no idea how they can call this place a 'beach resort' the place is across a major street from the beach, this place functions more like a motel in the US than a resort.

A member of their office staff - Ingrid - had a temper tantrum upon my check in .,, in front of other office staff and a time share owner. After 12 years of renting at this resort, despite the fact that many of my friends stay here, I Have no desire to stay here again. Even though I was here for 9 days, She could’ve made amends. She did not. She needs replaced. Luckily for her the rest of the office staff is extremely wonderful, including McQueesha, John and all the rest of the staff

We have been coming to Aruba almost every yr for the past 10 yrs or so. We usually use our timeshare but have also just booked our stay out of pocket once or twice. This yr and this place have combined to be the worst of our stays thus far from a pure accommodations stand point. First off the resort rooms are at best the quality of a cheap hotel. This yr they have started a new fee of charging a non refundable $30 dollars to force you to eat at their on-site restaurant. This is in addition to the one time weekly fee and the per day taxes. So much for the idea of using your timeshare to cover all your vacation accommodations cost. It has become increasingly more and more expensive to use your timeshare here with everyone adding additional fees and most only offering all inclusive at outrageous prices. May be time to find a new place to vacation for our family.

ABSOLUTELY A DUMP!!! We were supposed to be there a week and stayed one night. The two bedroom two bath was huge but extremely dated and falling apart. Plus the air conditioner wasn't working! There is nothing near the hotel but construction. A very sad, sorry sight for vacation. Thanking God our vacation exchange was able to move us to Marriott surf club! Much smaller room, but fantastic location! Stay away from LaQuinta!!!

Don't even think of staying here! Not a resort in any sense of the word. You have to risk your life crossing a very busy street to get to the beach. One small pool. We checked out the day we arrived and thank goodness found a quick alternative with the fabulous Marriot Ocean.

I am an owner and love staying here. I first stayed here in 2012. I own in phase 1 which is the smaller units in the front. Here are some of the pros and cons about La Quinta. Pros: place is small and quiet, the beach is the best beach and not too crowded like down in high rise section, pool bar has great food and drinks, maid service is nice and they come daily, grounds are well kept, pool and beach guys do a great job, front office and staff are friendly and accommodating. Cons: rooms are in the slow process of being updated so some are still outdated, wifi is spotty at times, if in the smaller building in front there is no elevator so stairs must be climbed and not a big deal but if older and have lots of heavy groceries it’s tough at times, small building rooms in phase 1 are small and lack storage especially in kitchen. Other than that it is a great place to stay and I’m glad to have become an owner as of 2019. La Quinta is my home away from home now.

The view from our balcony was fantastic, with the beach only a minute walk away! Eagle Beach just right across the street its breath taking and a beautiful sight to see! We were welcomed as if we were locals. Downtown night life was spectacular! High rise was a walk but amazing to see all the bigger hotels and many restaurants and shops. The Screaming Eagle restaurant which right on the grounds of the resort was So good! With 44% off bottles of wine on Mondays! Jolly Pirates was a amazing excursion! The crew was friendly and outgoing. The snorkeling spots were perfect for beginners and advanced snorkelers and everyone in between. Aqua Grill Restaurant downtown by the High rise was phenomenal! Iguana Joe’s downtown near the docks was perfect for lunch, a must try is their Grandma’s pinkLemonade (trust me it’s not pink lemonade) 😉 Queens jewelry store right across the street from Iguana Joe’s had amazing staff and great!! prices!!! La Quinta Resort was just one of kind and I cannot wait to come back!!!! This will be the only place I will stay when I come to Aruba!

Best location with uncrowded portion of Eagle Beach a few steps away across the street. Some space is limited for typical 1 week stays, especially in phase 1. I think management will be looking to improve that. Wish the Kini Kini bar stayed open passed 6pm I love to get the grouper salad. Housekeeping is phenomenal. They wash the dishes, make the beds, clean the floors and replace the linens each day. I wish I had that at home! LaQuinta is my Happy Place 😊.
