Two of us just played 18 holes of golf today. The round, including rental clubs, green fees and balls (which are not provided with rental clubs) was just under $500.00. This supposedly reflects a discounted rate as the greens have just been aerated and we had to play the same nine twice. $500!!! The rental clubs are a joke; the driving range is pathetic; our first cart needed exchanged because the parking brake did not work and the second one had rips all though the seats. Now let’s get to the course….it’s a cow pasture. The tee barely kept the ball above the grass on the tee boxes. There are any hills everywhere. The fairways are pathetic. Again…$500. For this amount, you can play the best courses in the US. The Titleist Pro V1’s cost us $96. That’s $8 per ball. We finished and tried to return two sleeves and, as you might guess, they are non-refundable even when returned in the sleeve untouched. NEVER AGAIN. Beware.

Fantastic food, though some dishes are a bit pricey. The red snapper (catch of the day) was wonderful. I also had the truffle risotto, and it was amazing. The view overlooks the golf course, the north shore, and if you time it right, the sunset.

We will definitely play here again. The course was challenging with wind, but so much fun. Plus the beautiful view. One of the starter (older guy) was not too accommodating, but the pro shop manager took care of us. Rental clubs were in good shape, as well as the carts. Definitely a winner compared to divi links.

The personnel who work at Tierra del Sol are friendly and helpful. The Tierra del Sol golf course is a beautifully designed course. The problem with the golf course is that it has been neglected. The bunkers are not sand; they are filled with rocks or standing water. The tee boxes boxes are under maintained, as are the fairways,which are loaded with weeds.The golf cart had a a hole in the floor and the parking brake did not work. The wheels of the cart needed to be turned into the curb to prevent it from rolling. The clubs I rented were Titleist and were relatively new and were easy to play. The value was not there for the cost of the greens fee. When this course opened 20 plus years ago , it was much more enjoyable to play and was worth the cost to play it. Serious attention should be paid to upgrading this course to return it to its former condition. Excuses do not cut it anymore.

If this wasn’t the only 18 hole course on the island they wouldn’t be able to get 20 dollars for a greens fee yet they charge 70 just for someone to ride along. Course is in terrible condition don’t waste your money.

The greens are the only thing green on this course. We've been playing here for the last 13 years and it's sad to see how much this course has gone downhill. The golf cart brakes don't hold at all and they appear to be extremely old and beaten up. They still charge full premium price for a course that is in terrible condition. At best there should have been discounted fees for the condition of the course. The only positive on this golf play was seeing a Shoco owl near a sand bunker.

Absolutely loved it. Only 18 hole course on the island. I played, while my partner had a massage and exfoliating experience. She loved it. Great pool and pub area. Lenny was great as a bartender. The course I loved. Impressive effort to keep greens lush. Highly recommended.

Came here for the golf, as we are staying at the Ritz. Don’t come for the golf. The course is in horrible condition…..more brown than green in the fairways and greens….with lots of weeds. I’ve played better mini courses in Dallas. Total rip off for $145/round…..plus they charged me $20 just to have my wife ride in the cart. Are you kidding me???? If I were Robert Trent Jones, I’d have my name disassociated with this course…..it’s an embarrassment.

The golf course is totally burned out. I made an online reservation and arrived to see that there was hardly a green blade of grass on the course. The starter offered a 50% discount but I wouldn’t play for free. She was very nice and allowed me to cancel at no charge. I wasted $35 in taxi fares going out and back. Sad to see such a beautiful course fall into such blight.

Incredible golf experience! So much fun playing and seeing all the great views. Yes, the wind makes it quite challenging, but it was a great way to spend a day in Aruba.

Awesome place and very friendly and nice staff! ☺️ I booked a massage and spent the day by the swimming pool. The only negative aspect, the pool was full of kids, so relaxing wasn’t easy. Besides that, everything was excellent!

The restaurant is amazing! The food was exceptional and the staff was great. The views are gorgeous. I highly recommend.

Place was clean and beautiful..however,no smoke alarms..no gfci by kitchen faucet ...safety concern...!

I can't speak for the golf, but we had an amazing night at the restaurant here. This is a great break from the monotony of the beach restaurants where everything has the exact same view and all the food tastes like it comes from the same kitchen. The grounds here are stunning, the view is excellent, and the environment is very chill. The staff is super friendly, and so were the other diners - the relaxed environment led to many cross-table conversations and made for a unique experience. We had a few drinks at the bar during sunset (that is definitely the time to go) and then had a fantastic dinner. I highly recommend the linguine with white clam sauce.

We had our wedding at Tierra del Sol and it was perfect! It is definitely the most beautiful place to get married on the island. It’s a scenic resort and great golf course. The bridesmaids and groomsmen stayed a separate villas to get ready and those were so nice! We worked with Emilio and he made our wedding absolutely perfect. Our guests kept telling us how great the food was at our wedding and we had 80 guests. I definitely recommend Tierra del Sol as a wedding venue in Aruba

Although we did not stay at this resort, we chose to spend our 25th wedding anniversary here. Months in advance, I worked with Emilio Geerman to arrange tee time, pool time, spa appointment and romantic dinner...even though this really isn't his job! Mr. Geerman and the team covered every detail and what a level of service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. Leadership at Tierra del Sol should be very proud of the staff. This team defined hospitality. The course was gorgeous. The spa staff made us feel like stars. The bartender at the pool bar (Lenny) was sweet, kind and funny. The restaurant team - food, bar, service - beyond words. Thank you to the team for helping us celebrate this milestone!

This is the most beautiful subdivision in Aruba. I highly reccomend this place has a golf course great spa restaurant pool. Great service gated community what else do you want or need.

Played 3 times in October, 2022. Enjoyed each round tremendously. Different conditions each round. With wind course is extremely interesting and adds to fun factor. Very positive experience - friendly and professional staff. Ice cloth at end of round. Nice range Some of the reviews I read simply do not make sense. Are they talking about the same course? Definitely a 10 in my book!

If you want to golf there are not many choices in Aruba but the course should be in better shape. The tee boxes were horrible. Full of weeds - disappointing. The club rentals were also a mess. Terrible beat up clubs. Finally the staff should be more personable. For what they charge - the course was disappointing.

Great course, staff was amazing. Will definitely play again when I'm in Aruba also the grill at the turn on the course had amazing food definitely recommend at least a hot dog and the beers were so cold

Course was in great shape. Awesome views everywhere. Played from the Gold tees; 200+ yd par 3's and a 600 ys par 5. Playing into the wind was challenging and you will quickly find out you will use less club. The greens were VERY slow, but expected with heat and high winds....short would dry out and die! Overall I give this course an 8 out of 10.

We had the most amazing wedding we could have ever imagined and wished for, my now husband has been going to the island for the last 30 years; and there is not a more amazing, gorgeous place to do your wedding than Tierra del sol. We did research and went to every single venue on the island, and Tierra del sol is number 1. Since the first time that we met with Jorge and Emilio and all their staff were Beautiful, food is excellent, we’re picky eaters ! The day of the wedding everyone at Tierra del sol made our date perfect, everyone was excellent, customer service was 100% on point, food excellent, something really important for us is honesty, and that’s one of the biggest values for Tierra del sol! Ohhh well… The course layout is great! But the course is dry as hell, It is a Narrow Course! I played the blue tips and didn’t need the driver for a bit! You need to shape your shots because the ground is hard at most places… Restaurants are great and fairly priced!

I would give 5 stars but the food was not great. I enjoyed my room and proximity to the beach. I had the room at the farthest end. Very quiet, white sand and the perfect breeze. Amazing vacation

Amazing area in the north part of Aruba. Great pools, breathtaking views and an amazing restaurant. What more could you ask for?

Atteneded a wedding, the location at the club house was great, excellent renovations, the place is modern, attractive with great views from the patio.
