Best
choice
we
made
while
on
the
island!
Absolutely
beautifully
run
family-owned
(for
125
years!)
oasis
directly
on
the
water!
For
a
fraction
of
the
price
(place
next
door
was
charging
up
to
$3K/night),
we
had
a
unique
and
fantastic
stay.
Some
highlights:
A
room
where
if
you
sleepwalk,
you'll
end
up
in
the
ocean.
A
chef-cooked
breakfast
overlooking
the
water
each
morning.
Free
use
of
kayaks,
snorkeling
masks,
a
cooler,
towels
and
a
fridge/freezer.
Excellent
location
in
a
sleepier
part
of
the
island
that
feels
less
touristy.
Direct
access
via
a
5
minute
kayak
ride
to
Sea-Glass
Island
(yes,
the
entire
island
is
covered
in
beautiful
sea
glass).
Right
next
to/walkable
to
some
of
the
best
restaurants
on
the
island
(Zeerovers,
Old
Man
and
the
Sea,
Flying
Fishbone).
Also
a
short
drive
to
Baby
Beach
and
the
National
Park.
Friendly
dogs
(a
little
pug
named
Bubbles,
lovable
Bingo
and
forgetting
the
last
pups
name
who
greeted
us
daily),
lizards,
crabs,
and
a
natural
aquarium
of
fish
and
eels
that
get
fed
with
breakfast.
Beach
chairs,
hammocks,
various
sitting
areas
on
the
water.
Offer
to
have
a
privately
cooked
romantic
dinner
on
the
water.
Very
friendly
staff
who
make
you
feel
like
part
of
the
family.
This
is
not
a
"fancy"
place
and
rooms
are
simple
but
with
everything
you
could
need.
I
think
there
are
6
rooms
in
total,
so
at
times
it
feels
like
you
have
it
all
to
yourself.
If
we
are
lucky
enough
to
return
to
Aruba,
our
first
action
will
be
to
book
a
room
at
Serene
by
the
Sea.
