I
arrived
on
Aruba
on
Saturday,
April
15
2023
around
2PM
but
ended
up
waiting
about
three
or
four
hours
for
my
friends
to
arrive.
It
was
getting
late
after
going
to
the
market
and
checking
in.
Fortunately
or
unfortunately,
we
were
told
that
all
of
the
restaurants
at
the
resort
were
already
closed
so
we
headed
off-property.
As
we
were
walking,
we
quickly
came
upon
Iguana
Joe’s
in
the
Palm
Beach
area.
We
had
passed
it
on
the
ride
from
the
market
to
the
resort.
We
were
tired
and
hungry.
It
was
right
in
front
of
us,
so
we
went
in.
It
reminded
me
of
places
in
South
Florida.
There
is
a
bar,
tables
and
a
sand
pit.
We
chose
a
table
and
sat
down
to
order.
There
is
a
good
selection
of
appetizers
and
entrees
as
well
as
drinks
that
includes
island
brewed
beer.
We
ordered
patties
because
one
of
our
group
is
from
Jamaica.
I
ordered
a
cheeseburger
and
a
sangria.
One
person
ordered
Jamaican
Jerk
Chicken
and
both
ordered
Balashi
beers.
Except
for
the
wait
time,
in
an
almost
empty
restaurant,
we
were
not
disappointed.
The
patties
were
a
little
on
the
small
side
but
very
tasty.
The
burger
was
a
little
underdone
but
was
a
good-sized
burger
with
Swiss
cheese
and
well-seasoned.
It
was
very
good.
The
other
two
people
in
my
group
liked
their
entrees.
Other
than
the
wait
time
for
our
order,
the
food
was
very
good
with
good
portions.
My
friends
really
liked
the
Balashi
beers.
The
waitstaff
was
friendly
and
things
were
reasonably
priced,
especially
for
a
resort
area.
Yes,
I
would
eat
there
again
and
I
did
eat
at
the
Iguana
Joe’s
in
Oranjestad
a
few
days
later.
P.S.
I
like
to
try
different
foods
and
restaurants
as
I
travel.
I
was
a
little
disappointed
that
there
was
no
actual
iguana
on
the
menu.
I
have
had
alligator
in
the
past
and
was
hoping
to
compare
the
taste
of
iguana
and
alligator.
