We were on our honeymoon when a small cut my husband had became very infected overnight. We had a great experience here. In short, very clean, quick and professional. No wait when we arrived and no wait for service. Saw 2 doctors and a nurse. Received antibiotics and pain mediation there and got a prescription for 2 more antibiotics. Walk in price $150, then service fees on top of that. Our total trip was about $350, not bad considering. Pharmacy near superfood was also quick and easy- $30 for two prescriptions. We even lost our invoice and I called from home and the receptionist emailed me one right away. Plan to submit this through travel insurance to have it reimbursed. If you have a non life threatening problem go here!!! and get back on the beach asap!

I suspected I had pink eye while on my vacation. Took a cab to the urgent care around 7pm and was out in 20 minutes. The doctor was fantastic, thorough, pleasant, and super helpful. Yes the payment was $150 which I was able to charge to my credit card, but she said I could email her a .pdf from my insurance company when I returned to the States if I needed more info/signatures for a claim submission. Can't say enough good things about this clinic. State-of-the-art medical equipment as facility. 6 stars.

As a pilot, biker, sailor, off-roader, sky diver, scuba diver, stunt driver, world traveler, 8 language speaking, paranormal inestigator, mentor, coach, son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, teacher, student, dog trainer, equestrian, non-smoker, risk assessor, and...avid swimmer, I found that this urgent care is probably the best in the entire world. If you are having an emergency, and no one else can help...walk-in. Clean, proficient, friendly, and most importantly...effective. My swimmers ear was the worst they had ever seen today, and was treated and I was back to the dig site/base camp/headquarters within 2 hours

Soon after the visit, i felt to humiliated, but when i saw the reviews on google, it made it clear, this place is not only bad, but dangerous. Stay away from those crooks Specially Maria, the nasty mob collector. They are all about money, will do anything to quiz $$ from you buy forcing yo to take unnecessary tests. If you don't want to take the tests, they will not let you see or talk to a doctor. Ruthless cold-blooded that has nothing to do with medicine. Aruba DOH should close down this place. Going to register complain with Aruba authorities. Stay away from this dangerous bad place

We visited UC today after my husband thought he was on an episode of Survivor while on vacation. He cut his index finger over the knuckle (slant), which would not stop bleeding. The cut required three stitches. The staff was very nice, fast, and friendly. The facility was nice, clean, and very bright, which I loved. They don't accept USA insurance, so we had to pay out of pocket. The facility fee, physician fee, treatment, and TDAP were $550. They did not disappoint. Great job by all.

Quick and professional service. I had to wait for less then 10 mins to get looked at and I was out with a diagnostic and prescription in another 30 mins (ear infection for me). Cost was $150 USD for the doctor and the medical centre. They later emailed me a detailed report for insurance. I'll find out if the insurance company will pay for it but I suspect I'll have no problems. There is a pharmacy a quick walk down the road.

My favorite Dr in Aruba!! Hurt my back on June 4 before getting to Aruba, can I say it was a difficult trip from San Diego. I kept waiting for it to get better about the fourth day I went to Urgent Care Aruba and Dr. Isabel treated me. Helped me with the pain I was going through. Then I had to come back again, she changed my medication which helped me again. And then on the day before we left which was a 10 day trip she gave me a shot in my butt to get me home on that flight because it getting somewhat better but still not there. I think she’s the sweetest, with empathy doctor I-have ever visited. Efficient quick office. They take walk ins too. I wish she worked here in San Diego because she would be my doctor!! Thank you Dr Isabel.

Sadly i busted my knee 3 days into my stay in Aruba and was admitted here. I cannot begin to explain how helpful this facility and all their staff was. We were even able to take our Covid test their prior to leaving. Absolutely love them.

Urgent Care Aruba is expensive and the service is not top notch. They lack empathy. They mis-informed the public. They are not 24 hours open. If you need medical attention while in Aruba I recommend Dr. Habibe or Dr. Beke by calling 743-1300. These are well experienced doctors who have been practicing general medicine for years and for a fraction of what UCA charge. I have been visiting aruba for years and I have always used Dr. Habibe or Dr. Beke. If you need only a prescription it can be called in at the Pharmacy. At UCA they will charge you 150 USD just to be seen and make unnecessary additional tests at an additional cost and you still have to go to the Pharmacy and pay for the prescription. What a rip-off

We thought our daughter had fractured her foot, and got an X-ray here within 2 hours - a bit of a wait but way better than A&E in uk!! We paid $300 to see a doctor and for 3 X-rays of her foot. Thankfully she was ok and just badly bruised.

We had to visit Aruba Urgent Care during our vacation due to impaired hearing after getting water in the ears. We were hesitant to go because of the negative reviews we read online. We didn't have many other options so we decided to go and hope for the best. I am Pleased to report that our experience was wonderful. We were seen within a half hour of our arrival and had positive interactions with everyone we met. Best of all, the doctor scoped the ears, showed us on a screen, and clearly explained the issue, and immediately remedied the situation. He then prescribed an antibiotic and we walked to the pharmacy to purchase it. (Pharmacy was a 5 minute walk from this Urgent care location.) We were informed of the cost prior to being seen (150 dollar examination fee and 50 per ear to treat the issue). The facility was clean, despite being under construction. Overall we were very happy with the experience here and are so grateful they were able to help us! A scary situation ended up working out well thanks to the excellent care we received. It was a $9 cab ride from our resort. I wouldn't hesitate returning here again! Hopefully we won't have to but it's nice to know there are helpful professionals ready and willing to help.

I am From NY. I can't express how much I appreciate the help and care I received in this place. From the young lady at the front desk, the nurse and finally the doctor. Very clean, neat and professional facility. I went to the Urgent Care due to a pelvic pain that didn't go away after 2 days of my arrival in Aruba. I was there for exactly 1 hour and left with a prescription for my antibiotics and pain killers. Very reasonable price, too. They provided me with an invoice that I can submit to my insurance company to get reimbursed accordingly. Thank you, Urgent Care Aruba.

Being away from home is scary enough when your not feeling well… but I was so at ease with the staff, nurse, and Doctor. Thankfully it wasn’t a serious matter but did need antibiotics… the Doctor was kind, friendly and I felt very confident with the care I received. Highly recommend this doctor and urgent care facility.

For tourists: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE RUDE STAFF & DOCTORS TERRIBLE SERVICE! I am traveling from Canada here in Aruba for the week. I realized i was missing 2 doses of my prescribed medicine. I was told to go this medical clinic. HORRIBLE experience. The doctor was mean very rude had 0 empathy whatsoever. When she refused to precribe the 2 missing doses even with my prescription from my doctor in hands i asked her what i was supposed to do then? She told me just go to the hospital see if they can do anything for you. The staff was rude the receptionist was rude everyone at this clinic looked like they were fed-up. Very unfriendly. I was then told at the pharmacy to go to medcare clinic aruba where the doctor was a SWEETHEART she was empathetic the staff was very helpful. So if you are a tourist traveling to aruba and need to urgently see a doctor in aruba i highly suggest the **medcare clinic by Marriott** instead of the urgent care clinic HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I was in Aruba last week for 5 days. As soon as I arrived I discovered that I had a, shall we say, personal problem that needed treatment. I decided that I'd wake up early the next day and either go to the ER or the Urgent Care Center which I found using Google. Even though it was a lot further from my hotel on Eagle Beach than the hospital, I decided to head to the Urgent Care based on the good reviews. I arrived at 7:30am even though it didn't open until 8. They were nice enough to let me wait inside for the 30 minutes. I was called in at 5 after 8 and was seen by Dr. Stephanie Yagua. She was thorough, competent, and decisive - 3 things I look for in a practitioner. She offered to have blood work done to help with the diagnosis but I opted out since it wouldn't be covered by my insurance and was on a budget. So she wrote me a prescription for 2 different meds based on what what she believed the infection to probably be. The pharmacy was a stone's throw away and I was able to walk there in less than 2 minutes. I can't remember the name of it, but I should mention that the staff there was just as polite and accommodating as it was at the Urgent Care Center. Anyway, the cost of the visit was $150 plus the cost of the meds. Definitely wasn't how I was planning on starting my vacation, but everyone involved made the situation as pleasant as possible. I would strongly recommend.

This is a total rip off for foreigners. Everywhere else we've traveled it's been 1-2 hours for antigen. Here it's 8-12 hours or pay another $50 to "expedite it" so USD$100. Plan ahead or get ripped off. We planned with 5 hours for a 1 hour test but it wasn't enough.

Thank God for Urgent Care Aruba and Dr. Isabel! My daughter woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain the night before we were supposed to get on a plane and leave back home. We brought her at 8 AM as soon as they opened. When the Dr. Isabel looked in her ears I was able to also see what she was viewing on a screen and it was clear she had a very bulging eardrum! Dr. Isabel told us it was best for her not to fly yet otherwise we may risk a ruptured eardrum, she was very empathetic and understanding of our situation but she said this was best for our daughter. We were in an out in about 20 minutes with prescription in hand. She showed me where the Pharmacy was (which was right across the street!) and our prescription was filled five minutes later! We went in on Saturday for the initial visit and brought her back Monday for a recheck! Again I was able to see exactly what the doctor was seeing and her eardrum was completely shrunken down still red but we were given the green light to fly. They did not charge us for the follow up which was really amazing. If you are ever traveling to Aruba please do not be afraid to seek medical care especially at urgent care Aruba. They are fluent in English, Spanish and Dutch. The medical staff and the front desk were great the facility was State of the Art and extremely clean! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Grateful! As soon as I stepped off the plane in Aruba I knew I was in trouble. My sciatica was so bad I couldn't walk. Went for a massage, iced for two days, and took over the counter meds. No relief. So I researched places to go and found UCA. Within 30 minutes of arrival I had as diagnosis, 2 shots and prescriptions to fill. Top notch service. Friendly and compassionate. Reasonably priced. Thank you for taking such good care of me and all the patients!

We live here as USA pensioners and have utilized the UCC multiple times over the 3 years. We have found UCC to be efficient, professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced as compared to US. Excellent treatment. In & out in 45 min. The physicians are stellar.

If you have forgotten your meds at home or your need medication for minor illnesses go directly to the pharmacy. The pharmacist will put you in contact with a doctor. I have good experiences with doctor Habibe 743-1300 and doctor Beke 588-0539. You will pay a fraction of what you would pay at the urgent care. The fee at urgent care is $ 150 USD. Why pay more if you have a cheaper alternative.

This place finally decided to help my daughter get an IV for dehydration. At first they wanted her to go to ER. When we got here to be seen it was $200.00 US and then $400.00 US for the IV. This seems a little over priced. There are few options for healthcare here on the island.

I had to come here on my honeymoon twice for infections and the staff was so fabulous. Both doctors I met with were very helpful & gave more context than a typical doctor does for their prescriptions. We got right in both times in & out with prescriptions within an hour. $150 for the visit + meds at the pharmacy. Highly recommend if you need medical care while in Aruba.

UCA saved our vacation! My wife and I had sustained severely clogged ears from the ocean and were absolutely miserable. A local resident recommended UCA to us and the doctor and staff were amazing. We were triaged immediately and seen by the doctor in a very timely manner. He flushed both our ears until they were completely clean! What a difference he made for our entire trip. Thank you SO much to the staff at UCA!!

The doctor was amazing, she was very caring and made jokes to help me with pain. I had what turned out to be (pheew!) just a sprained ankle, but they quickly performed an x-ray to rule out broken bone and even ultrasound to make sure that I didn't tear a ligament. Great staff and facility!

Quick, clean, up to date, and super professional. Family had an what turned out to be a scarry sounding but relatively minor emergency. They effectively took history and we saw Doc Y immediately. She quickly came up with an idea and ordered a some tests. We had a diagnostic, scrip, instructions, and follow-up directions all in about an hour. Doc Y was super friendly and did just the right amount of scolding to get my mom to follow directions properly. She was super greatful and has a super positive view of the doc. Definitely have Doc Y on my contact list for any future visits to the island. They generally could not honour off island insurance for obvious reasons. The prices for tests and visit were not cheap but about what would be a reasonable expectation. They did provide a medical certificate with I go for GP follow-up and insurance purposes. As always, if you are traveling it's good to have a Visa or MasterCard specifically with travel insurance built in, and then there is nothing to worry about.

Came to Aruba for vacation and ended up tearing the bottom of my big toe REALLY badly on coral. Huge flap of skin where blood vessels were showing and huge chunks of muscle and fat on the flap. Went to the ER and they said it was gunna be 5 hour wait. Went here the next day at 8am and they had me checked in seeing a doctor within 10 minutes. The doctor did such an amazing job stitching me up. 7 stitches later and my toe was perfectly fine. Really can’t express how great she was. Highly recommend. And only paid 370 bucks for it.

Dr. Yagua was amazing, as were the other ladies at the front desk but I wasn’t able to catch their names. Intake for vitals was about an hour waiting time and the wait time to see the doctor was about 30 minutes. She saw me for a few minutes and was able to make a diagnosis cheerfully and she joked around with me (I prefer light health care like this), I got a shot and waited about 10 minutes for the prescription. Probably a total of 2 hours for the whole process, and then having to get the prescription filled was another story of course. Very thankful for the care that was provided for my horrible ear infection. Thanks guys! :)

I just returned from Aruba 2/1/19 and during my stay required the services of this urgent care. The facility was clean and service was quick, but the medical care did not meet USA standards. The MD that treated me did not ask what medications I was currently taking or any significant past medical history before treating me and prescribing medication. i am a nurse so I did feel safe taking the prescribed medication, but when I asked the doctor if this medication was similar to a medication in the USA, he just said "it's fine, it's fine." i requested a copy of my chart to bring home for insurance reimbursement and the nurse stated she would email to me in 48 hours. That was January 29, 2019. It is now Feb 3, 2019 and I still have not received it. I think I will seek care at the hospital's ED then this urgent care the next time I am in town if healthcare is needed.

1 start because I can’t give 0 stars!! Needed a doctor for an urgent procedure. Was told there was no doctor or medical staff working on a Friday at 1pm and I should go to the hospital or call in the morning to see if the doctor was in. You’re doctors didn’t want to work on a Friday afternoon why would they be at work on Saturday morning during Carnival? If it was an Emergency I would have gone to the hospital and not even bothered with your clinic. Why are you even open if your doctors and medical staff aren’t at work? Useless!!

  • 2/5 Donnie W. 6 years ago on Google
Walked in, daughter had pink eye. They wanted $150 just to be seen. Turns out, you can call a doctor, they call in a script, and for $35 you get your meds. Surely you cannot do this for all cases, but for the simple ones, save money and ask your resort for the Dr. they are affiliated with. They get 2 stars because the facility is new and modern, but 1 star because they didn't offer the cheaper alternative.

Unfortunately a few days into my stay in Aruba I felt it was necessary to seek medical treatment for an issue I had been dealing with since prior to leaving the states. The fact that everyone speaks perfect English gave me peace of mind. Within 30 minutes I was back in a room talking to the doctor. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed because this would never happen at the local hospital where I live and work. I am a nurse and can confidently say that all of staff are very well educated and know what they’re talking about. I only spent an average of $500 for all of the care I received which included lab test, medication, and ultrasound and seeing the doctor. If you need medical care while in Aruba I highly recommend this place. You can feel confident being treated without having to break the bank! I can’t say enough good things about this island!

I had a great experience here. I went swimming and found afterwards that I had a clogged right ear. I wasn’t sure if it was sand or wax but I couldn’t hear and needed it taken care of right away. The next morning I went to UCA and was seen within 20 minutes. Dr. Isabella was kind and checked my ears thoroughly. I found out that my left ear was almost blocked too. She showed me with her camera in my ear. She expertly cleaned out my ears and I was in and out of the appointment in ten minutes. Visit was a bit pricey but definitely less than what I would have paid in the US without insurance. All in all a good experience and I would recommend them.

I had to go here to have an ingrown hair cyst drained. The care and doctor was phenomenal (she was super cool too) and it was affordable compared to care in the US. (approx $250USD).If i recall the facility fee was only $25. They did a wonderful job and followed up with my Primary who also said they did great work. Highly recommend !

Website says this office opens at 11, but it opens at noon--sick and feverish people sitting outside in hot sum. Visit was efficient, but then you wait quite a while to "check out."" After 20 minutes I went back to the desk and was told 20 minutes more. I waited 20 minutes more and reminded the person at the desk that it had been 40 minutes since the visit ended. She said she still didn't have the paperwork. The doctor happened to walk by and said she had processed the paperwork. It took the two of them to find the paperwork in the already paid pile. After paying for the service we were told that there was only one pharmacy that was open on the whole island on this Sunday. They had a name, but no street address. It was a ways away. It's not fun to feel unwell on vacation, and the doctors were great, but the desk person, a disaster. Given a choice, would go elsewhere.

This is the worst medical care you will ever visit, avoid this place at all cost. We visited this place because it's right next to Caribbean Palm Village Resort and we needed a PCR test. They do everything to squeeze every dollar out of you have. We even got charged extra because we didn't have an appointment and it was a sunday. You might think well make an appointment next time, but the thing is we tried to make an appointment several times, but we where told you could just walk in. The hotel called for us, we even tried calling ourselves and visited the place the day before. The problem was that we supposedly talked to the wrong person within the same building :( If you can avoid this place and take your business elsewhere, we would have done this if we had known these people were such scammers.

We came here during vacation trip with our 18 month old who we suspected had an ear infection. We arrived and were discharged within the hour and given a prescription that we could easily fill right now the street. The staff and doctor were very friendly. We were impressed with how quickly we were seen given there was a line when we walked in. Overall, we had a very good experience!

The desk assistant tried to ignore us, so we had to wait to even state our reason for visit for 20 minutes. She was also rude. Plus waiting to be seen for a long time. The wait to pay is even longer and the “tourist charge” is absurd. The whole visit took about an hour for a five minute procedure.
