Beautiful, quiet location. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Very fast internet. The full kitchen and fridge make it easy to prepare or warm meals. The two new owners are the most friendly, helpful, and accommodating people. I highly recommend a stay here.

Been going here for 40 years. If you want to be on the opposite side of the island from the casinos and enjoy a much more local time in Aruba this is your place. Love it!

That was an amazing experience to stay at Vistalmar. All is new, super clean and made with care and a good taste. Everything is there - from kitchen (fully equipped) to the bathroom and bedroom with comfortable bed! Esther and Angelique were so friendly and helpful, we felt like a family. We're so glad we chose to stay at Vistalmar. The views are fantastic, the apartment is clean and very comfortable with all the basic amenities, and it's in a quiet location yet not far from good restaurants and other attractions. The Fish House restaurant is a 2-minute walk and it's super good! The owner of Vistalmar was very responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for our week-long stay. Plus the resident dog is so sweet and friendly! We would 100% stay here again.

My husband and I spent a week at Vistalmar and loved it. We wanted to be in a secluded area, and we could not have found a more perfect place to stay. The apartment was close to the airport, but the planes did not disturb us. The furnishings were modern and the kitchen well equipped. Several evenings we went to the dock and watched the sunset. The grounds were immaculate, and we enjoyed every single moment of our stay. We rented a car and explored the island on our own. The Fish House Restaurant is right down the street and our meal was delicious and affordable. The rescue puppies were adorable. Angelique responded almost immediately to my messages, and she went above and beyond to answer all my questions. If you want a party scene with lots of action, this is not the place for you, but it was perfect for us!

Great setup. Apartments are very clean and conveniently located 5 min from airport. Full kitchen. Very quiet with nice breeze all day long. Great to watch the sunset from the dock across the street. There is a Marina in the front with restaurant and a few minutes away from very nice beaches and local restaurants on the water.

I stayed here for roughly a week and could not be happier. It is just a short drive from the biggest attractions on the island, but out of the way and secluded enough to actually relax and enjoy your vacation. I am so glad I chose Vistalmar over one of the large hotels or resorts. The room was updated and incredibly comfy, the private dock and available kayaks made for fantastic day and night activities. The pool is gorgeous and clean. Everything here has been recently updated and is incredibly well maintained. I will be using Vistalmar for all of my return trips from now on.

We had an amazing time here! The private sun deck was beautiful, and the rooms were very modern and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities this place provides, including Kayaks, pool floaties, and more. Additionally, management was easily accessible and any issues we had were resolved very quickly. The location was very proximal to the ocean, and was close to the airport and local beaches. Anything on the island is no more than 30 minutes away from here by car. Definitely recommend booking here!

we were there in Oct.21 and it was just brilliant. I know the Vistalmar since 1989, but this time was the best. Everything is brandnew including the redone boatdeck with the minibeach. If one is looking for oceanfront serenity it is the right place to go. I tend to say to have a car is advisible to get around to the busy beach aereas and (food)shopping. Also I like to mention the hosts Angelique and Esther. They are absolutely friendly and helpful and make the place beautiful with equiste taste. Thanks again and we will be back for sure.

Nice water view from pool. Sunsets were beautiful. Host very responsive. Excellent WI-FI. Kayaked to nearby shipwreck was cool. Coffee is fantastic. I’d stay here again for sure.

The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. Had a nice big terrace with table and chairs to relax outside. Property owner was kind and helpful. Location provides wonderful view of the sunset. Thank you.

I don't even know where to start regarding how wonderful our stay was at Vistalmar. My wife and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and her 40th birthday and wanted to go big so we decided on Aruba. We'd never left the country and were nervous. From my very first email to Angelique I knew we were in good hands. Regarding the hosts, beyond amazing, always available and even sweet and quite funny, which is a bonus. The unit was perfect. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of space, everything you need to dine and cook if you choose, we did a few times and had everything we needed. 2 split unit AC kept it very comfy on those hot days. There is unlimited laundry for 25usd per week which we happily took advantage of. We lived on the patio, there are 2 large tvs inside, I'm sure they work wonderfully but, we never turned them on because we spent every waking moment outside. The grounds were idyllic, lush fauna everywhere, beautifully lit at night, the pool is gorgeous although I only got in it once because the ocean is across the street and I always choose ocean over pool. We felt very very safe the entire stay, Aruba is a safe and lovely island. The dock. Oh that dock. It's like the photos, but it's real and if we weren't running around the island, I was floating in the Caribbean with that beautiful dock as a backdrop. The location. You'll need a car if you want to explore although taxis are flat rate and widely available. We rented a car and found everything we wanted to see was a 10 to 15 minute drive. It's a small island and you can get to all the action in under 20 minutes by car. Brush up on rotaries and roundabouts, there are many, but well organized. There is a restaurant, The Fishhouse, across the way that was DELICIOUS and within waking distance (2 minutes on foot) we ate there 3 times. I recommend everything. I'm hesitant to leave this review, because I'm greedy and want to keep it all to myself but everyone needs to experience this. If you are on the fence, don't be, BOOK IT. Thank you Angelique, Esther, Vistalmar staff and of course the house dog (rescue and the sweetest little girl on the island) for making this the best vacation we have ever had. We will choose you again and again!

It's absolutely incredible!!! We took our family there and had the best time. There is no better way to feel at home in Aruba. See you again in April!!

Great apartments, incredibly well run. Dock on the harbor is a great place to hang out...anytime. Nice for a paddle or swim to. You do hear the airplanes but it's not bad. Very residential but good to have a restaurant at the boatyard a 5 minute walk. Spent 2 weeks

Although it's very quiet and a nice view in a private little beach, it's behind the airport and you really need to have a car to get around

My stay at Vistalmar was excellent. Before my stay, the host Angelique reached out to me and sent me instructions for staying at the property as well as recommendations of services and activities around the area and on the island. The villa was as expected as shown on the website. Super clean and tidy, and the kitchen had enough tools to cook nice meals. There was also a coffee maker and toaster, as well as a kettle in case you wanted hot tea. The room and bathroom were pretty basic but with a modern simplistic design, which was nice because there was less to worry about breaking something (My husband is really clumsy). The pool is a nice size and the water was a good temperature, with a beautiful view of the water, where you can catch a beautiful sunset. The private pier/dock across the street was clean and comfortable, we were able to lay out and take in some sun as well as get into the water. Overall, the stay was perfect for us and had just enough charm and simplicity to get us through our 4-day stay.

Very cute modern setup! Has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is great, and makes it easy to prep your own meals. I highly recommend.

Vistalmar was beautiful, clean, and the perfect home away from home. We only spent a short weekend and we’re already thinking about going back. This home was located right behind the airport and off the beaten path so it’s the perfect spot for those looking to relax or the rest of the island is easily accessible by car or taxi to switch things up. Can’t wait to go back!

We were very satisfied with our stay. We enjoyed our family weekend away from home. The surrounding was peaceful, the room was clean and had everything we needed . The sheets were cripsy clean and I slept like a baby. We will certainly return.

I enjoyed my short stay at this resort. The place was clean and neat. It was the best bed I have slept on beside my own. The place was quiet. It was easy to get in touch with the owner. It was a little misleading with the lake and hammock. That part is not directly on the property. You have to go across the street. Overall it was a great place for a short stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a short stay. If you don't like dogs, I wouldn't recommend this place. Every night I was greeted with two to three stay dog on the property. This is not the property owner's fault. They are stray dogs but friendly.

Looking for a home away from home, look no further. Vistalmar Ocean Villas is the place to be. I had a wonderful two weeks here. Clean room, helpful and responsive host beautiful sunsets, it’s a short drive from the airport but also out of the way and secluded enough, the housekeeper was friendly, and I will definitely visit again. 💯
