I’m writing this review as a cautionary tale to other potential diners. While locals recommended this restaurant for its budget-friendly and flavorful food, our experience was anything but satisfactory. Our starters and main courses fell short of our expectations. The Pan Bati Has Cu Keshi appetizer and our medium-rare sirloin steaks were poorly prepared. My son’s Land and Sea combo suffered from the same issue. Only my wife’s Red Snapper, the catch of the day, lived up to our expectations. Service was equally lackluster. We faced an unnecessarily long wait for our second round of drinks, an issue attributed to kitchen use of the mixer, which hardly seemed like a valid reason. What transpired after the meal was downright alarming. Soon after consuming a Piña Colada, I experienced severe health issues, including an intense headache and vision problems, none of which can be attributed to overconsumption of alcohol. I suspect the issue might have arisen from substandard alcohol, possibly methanol, or improper cleaning of the blender after kitchen use. The effects were so severe that I had to lay down across the street outside a smart convenient store while my family rushed to fetch medication. Given the severe health risks I encountered, I strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. This place is not a safe option for tourists or anyone looking for a quality, safe dining experience. Consider alternative eateries and stick to bottled beverages to avoid similar complications. The $220 bill was in no way justified by the concerning and traumatic experience.

Fresh and tasty caught of the day. Great service!! Good prices and it's not too far from the main tourist area. Sat outside on the main entrance with limited lighting and it was nice. Inside had beautiful ambiance and they seemed to have lots of local following as well.

If you're looking for a hidden gem to celebrate your special occasion, look no further than Pika's Corner. Our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. After being told of a 30-minute wait at the restaurant next door, we decided to venture into Pika's Corner to check their wait time. Little did we know that it would turn out to be our best decision of the night! As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by the most welcoming staff. Their warm smiles and friendly demeanor instantly made us feel at ease. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable evening. Feeling unsure about what to order, we asked Angie for her suggestions - and boy, was she on point! Every dish she recommended was an absolute delight. From appetizers to main courses, each bite was bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. Not only was the food outstanding, but the drinks were equally impressive. Whether you prefer a classic cocktail or something more unique, Pika's Corner has it all. And let's not forget about the prices - they were incredibly reasonable for such high-quality cuisine. Our 3-year anniversary dinner couldn't have been better anywhere else. Pika's Corner exceeded our expectations in every way possible. If you find yourself in need of an unforgettable dining experience, make sure to ask for Angie - she truly knows how to make your meal extraordinary.

Very good family owned restaurant. I went here on a Thursday night and it wasn't crowded at all. It did take a while for our food to be prepared (about 20 min) not bad considering what my friend and I ordered. I had the shrimp cocktail (16 Afl) as an appetizer which came with 7 jumbo peeled shrimp and a salad with the typical Aruban dressing. Shrimp was of the translucent previously frozen type. Still good. Looking for something interesting, I selected the grilled conch platter (35 Afl). I have had conch before, but only in frozen form and in soups. The conch had a firm yet yielding texture, much like of a abalone. It also had oddly, a light tempura like batter. The grilling seems to be have been done outside, with a pleasant smokiness to it. Along with it came with a nice salad consisting of romaine lettuce and carrots with the same aruban dressing (think of thousand island but not as tart). The sauce served on the side was of a garlic creamy consistency with some dill. My friend had the Picanha skewer (52 Afl). He had it medium rare, and it was done well as any steakhouse we had been too. The meat was smoky and juicy too. Plantains were good, kind of hard to screw them up. Also came with the same creamy garlic sauce. Now I not sure what I did eat here was local fare since most food is imported to the island, but the food was delicious and priced reasonably. It would be worth my time to visit this place again.

I would highly recommend! My wife and I was looking for authentic Aruban food and came across this place while driving back from Baby Beach. The food was amazing and my server was the best. She was extremely polite and helpful. She answered any questions I had and was extremely patient. For 2 adults and one 7 year old daughter the ordered a surf and turf. The bill including the tip was $119. 10.

I was here in December 2022 as I was looking for local Aruban food. I really enjoyed my meal and the server, Angie, was so kind and helpful. Their papaya hot sauce is my favourite! I look forward to visiting again and trying more local food from Pika’s!

The two ladies serving were really helpful and recommended the grouper, see pic. It was absolutely delicious. Although situated amongst the high-end hotels, their pricing was Florin and great value. A must for an authentic Aruban meal. Can't recommend enough.

This place has the best prices and top notch food quality. For example, I had the whole red snapper, 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, and the wife had the steak skewers. The food was GREAT and the price was only 70 something US dollars. Super affordable high quality option for those who are trying to enjoy the vibe of eating out without the vibe of killin yo wallet. The service was also amazing. We ate here 3 nights of our 7 night stay because we craved their food!

The plate is huge, definately enough for two meals. The price is more affordable than the restaurants by the resorts. The fish was delicious, pictured here the red snapper. It comes with macaroni salad rice and plaintains. I would've ordered dessert and beef soup but didn't have room in my tummy ☹️ Aparrently this is a place where the locals eat definately worth a visit to this mom and pop shop.

REALLY good local food! Service was okay but not very accommodating. They have a hamburger on the menu but when my nephew who is 18 years old ordered it we were told it’s “only for children” even though it doesn’t state that anywhere on the menu and it’s right in with all the rest of the entrees. The price was no different than any of the other entrées either so that was a bit strange. I ordered the barbecue rib platter which was absolutely delicious however when I asked if I could have yucca fries instead of the french fries I was told “no because it already had a side” I’m not really certain whether it was a language barrier issue or just a lack of flexibility on the restaurant’s part though honestly. When we finished our dinners which we were all very happy with we were brought the bill and never asked if we wanted dessert which again, I found strange. I would return to this restaurant because the food is really quite delicious and I much prefer local restaurants like this to the tourist traps near the high rise hotels.

I’m glad we found this place. The food was really good and the vibe was mom and pops. I love the fact that they know third customer by name. Everyone was super welcoming and it felt like you were at your aunties house.

We were told by many that this is a spot had some of the best food on the island. We were super excited to try it out and decided to spare no expense. We ordered their two most expensive dishes (steak skewers and Lobster) and both we very over cooked. We also ordered a pitcher of their sangria and it was not very good. Based upon the reviews, it seems like we possibly just caught this restaurant on a bad day but it is important to know a great meal is not guaranteed. After spending $60/person at a very casual spot in a not great location, we were hoping for much better.

For two years I drove by Pika's Corner and marveled at the packed parking lot and the crowd of people waiting to get in. Finally I carved out some time to find out why the locals love this restaurant. The reason: What's not to love? You get the best meal for the price on the island. The only negative is the place's popularity. You have to wait for a table. You have to wait for your food. We had to park on a side street because the parking lot was packed. Trust me, it's worth the wait. Why do you have to wait for the food? Because the chef makes everything to order. The entrees come out steaming. The cuisine is definitely authentic Aruban. Great fish entrees sauteed or fried. I ordered the whole red snapper. It arrived staring at me. The skin was perfectly fried to a crackly crisp. Inside the meat was pearly white, sweet and moist. You must order funchi, the cornmeal pancakey thing the Arubans love. The four slices were hot to the touch and fall apart moist. How can cornbread be so flavorful? Austin ordered the pork chops. The three chops were enough for 2 meals. They were tender and flavorful. Arubans love rice and French fries. All meals come with one or both. The fish also had cooked plantains on the plate, another local favorite. The banana flavor was a great compliment to the fish. The dining room is air conditioned. But most locals prefer the outside patio. Or take out. The restaurant does a huge take out business judging by the number of people picking up their food at the bar. Given the high food prices on the island, the entrees here are remarkably affordable. I feel in love with this place. Now I'm going to eat here once a week every time I'm in Aruba.

Incredible local spot - food was cooked with love, very clean inside, and they all make you feel like home from when you walk in until you're telling them I will be back tomorrow. We had the Land & Sea (6oz lobster and steak) and the catch of the day (barracuda), definitely recommend ordering both. Angie was very helpful in providing recommendations on the menu and where to experience the Arubian night life. We will for sure be back before heading stateside again, Angie told us to comeback during the day for oxtail stew!

You could try all kinds of fresh seafood in Aruba and the rest of cuisines are real local - Aruban cuisines! It’s really delicious :) The staff is super friendly/ helpful and I really enjoy the family vibes in the restaurant! It is good value for money. You could ask the staff for the seafood of the day, the restaurant got the fresh seafood everyday from the local fish man!

It was recommended to come here from our tour guide. This place is amazing!!! Definitely worth trying out here. The prices are in local currency so it is much cheaper. Quality and quantity are much better than all the stuff provided at the resort. If you want to try some fresh and great local food definitely come here. You cannot go wrong here. The customer service was perfect it was not too busy and the food was delicious

There were only two places in Aruba that we came back to on the same trip after already eating there, and this was one of them! Pika's Corner is a delicious assortment of Caribbean cuisine: seafood, Italian, Brazilian meats, etc. Our first time there, we shared a Picanha (Top Sirloin) skewer w/ salad and fried bananas with our group of 4, and my wife and I shared a garlic shrimp plate and a fresh guava juice. Everything was so flavorful and reasonably priced. :) The 2nd time we went, I got a mixed seafood alfredo linguine with shrimp, octopus, ceviche and scallops, and my wife got The Catch of the Day: Red Snapper. We also got virgin passionfruit and strawberry daiquiris. So freaking good and filling. If you come to Aruba make sure to give this place a go!

Had a wonderful dining experience here tonight. The staff are very courteous and just down right friendly! Angie was our server tonight. She knew the menu and specials from front to back. First night in Aruba. Wanted to eat where the locals eat. You will not be disappointed. We had the fish ceviche, snapper plate and barracuda fish plate. EVERYTHING was fresh, fresh and fresh! Give this place a try. Your tummy will thank you 😊.

Great place with good options. Earlier in the day, they have different sandwiches in front with Pastechis AND the skewers are great! NOTE: We did have a horrible grilled chicken the next day so I do recommend asking what the waiter recommends since she did us great. This skewer was either the first or second option, all I know is that is has more fat on each and it honestly makes it even more juicy and delicious even if you don’t eat the fat with it! Definitely recommend!

The best Aruba local food! I love it here so much. Food is so good steak is the best in town. Whole fried fish is so good so fresh. People here are so nice and friendly. I accidentally forgot my purse when I walked out of the restaurant the server ran to me to hand me my purse I’m so thankful for her. Thank you for being very nice and kind to your customers

We stumbled upon this location after the restaurant next door was closed. We ordered the fried cornmeal and cheese, shrimp and steak skewers, tres leches, and cheesecake. All were exceptional. The service was friendly and quick. Everything was reasonable priced. The shrimp skewers were deliciously marinated and the tres leches was among the best I ever had. Highly recommend as it’s been the best food we’ve had on the island thus far.

Eat here! The food is delicious and they have specials at local prices. The portions are very generous as well. I ordered the beef stew and it was excellent. Also I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff. After I accidentally left my wallet there, Harold tracked me down and even met me on Christmas Day to return it. I am so thankful.

Incredible food and the kindest waitress! This is the best local food you can get in Aruba... I still think about it. We brought our two dogs to the terrace and the kindest waitress got them some water and helped us choose our meals. We had the chicken stew, conch stew, and pan bati. Unreal and delicious!!

Food was good service was mediocre, finished drinks and they never asked if we wanted more. Would have preferred second round. Dropped off food never checked on us, had to go to counted to ask for papaya hot sauce. Asked about dessert told us what they had instead of bringing menus. We ordered flan and cashew cake got flan and cheese cake. Probably language barrier but I'd have pointed to the menu and avoided confusion of the opportunity was there. They ran out card in $US without asking and anyone who travels knows you always run it in currency of country your in Probably give them a 4.5 but lost a lot to poor service

Great local cuisine, not too far from the hotels and was recommended by a local. Try the groper fish - tastes like pickerel (a very tasty fish in the upper US and Canada. Main meal came with fish, small salad, rice, bread/pancake thing, tomatoes dipping sauce, and fried plantains. This was 25 Florians.

Local Aruban cuisine. Very tasty and reasonably priced. We got the pork chop and ordered a side of plantains. It came with French fries and rice. The plantains were very good! Pork chop was a little chewy. Sangria was good! They were busy with locals coming and going and picking up food to go. Try this restaurant, it's very good.
