Heads up, a whole lot of the 5 star reviews are from the hotel owners friends and family. Just sayin!

The hotel is not on the main strip. There is no taxi nor bus line in the area. The hotel office closes at 5 pm. No way to contact anyone if there is a problem. If you want not to be found, this the hotel for you. Before Expedia rates hotels, they should go and visit then before they recommend the hotels in there package deals. Very disappointed. Check out early and paid the price at another hotel.

Nice place for the price. Good air conditioning, hot shower and quiet. I had a minor issue with housekeeping but it was taken care of. To get around you either need to rent a car, take a taxi, or public transportation, Arubus. The bus stop is a short walk from the hotel $2.60 USD and it will take you to beaches & tourist attractions. Free shuttle to the airport in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Need improvement it's isolated and not a good view

Very poor no hot water. Stay somewhere else, how can this possibly be a 3 star hotel? There is no way! Seriously how can none of the other reviews not even mention that they don't have hot water? It's not even offered at hotel!!!!! They were very nice to me to start, but then refused to give me all my money back. I pre paid thru priceline for 6 nights. And I needed out of this hotel, started feeling sick after staying there one night. I'm sure all the other reviews posted are friends and family of the owners. Just plain wrong that they would deceive and rip off tourist. Not a very welcoming country if they allow these business practices. Save your money for a better place, don't waste it here.

I will stay at Agua Clara Eco Suites on 31 dec 2021, 1 jan and 2 jan 2022 to open my new year at a nice place.

Awful place to stay. The owners are con artists! We were told we could have a late check out until 12 o'clock but at 11:45am the receptionists knocked at the door asking for $10 usd because we were late checking out after saying it was ok the day before! Also the return airport shuttle stops at 10:30am but there are no notifications regarding this. We had to pay $15 for a taxi. On leaving we had a big argument with the staff so be warned they are con artists out to make money. The rooms also stunk, the pool was filthy and the wifi was rubbish. The toilet was leaking for over two days and this was never fixed after I reported it. On the last day I had to lift the porcelain cover off and pull the lever to flush the toilet. This was supposed to be a holiday! There are many other places to stay on the island for the same price and better quality. It's very isolated to!

This is NOT a tourist spot. Nothing can be walked to. Dirty pool. 4 days between room cleanings. Avoid at all costs!

False advertising. Saw a duplex on website with couch, kitchen and inner staircase that accommodated 6 ppl and booked for 5 ppl. On arrival I was told I only booked for 3, since I revised my original booking after the other 2 members confirmed their airfare. So they gave us 2 separate rms and charged us more money for the other 2 ppl. The rms had No closets, No dresser, No toilet paper holder and only 1 roll, No soap dish in the shower (we used the window ledge) and No hooks in the bathroom to hook your clothes or towel while you shower. One rm had exposed wiring in the ceiling, the 'kitchen' faucet was loose. With a 24" area around the bed and the suitcases on the floor it was a hazard moving around. Instructions on entrance door said to leave the entrance door and bathroom window open if you will be cooking, Really? How did they ever get a Certificate of Occupancy? Booked for 11 days, left after 2 had to find other accommodations. Agua Clara only refunded 50%, so 2 nights in this Dump costed me $790. Like the other objective reviewers said, it's a ripoff do Not book this place. We were the only foreigners there, the other 2 renters looked like Locals. Their website pics doesn't show it, but the parking area in front of the office is not paved, just dirt! A clue when you arrive, this place is a work in progress. Stay away!
