Must see if you're in Aruba. There's an $11 entrance fee if, but there's so much more to see in the Arokok National Park where the cave is located. Easy walk through the cave, but if you own a pair of hiking boots I'd bring them. Bats zip through the cave

If you’re a thrill seeker and ever in Aruba, then you must visit this cave. Once inside, the challenging part is to pass by the bats that swoops done towards you and there are more than a few that will fly around testing your nerves. The next challenging part is to keep your balance while maneuvering pass these bats on the uneven surface. Once you are passed the bat challenge, then you are rewarded with spectacular interior views of this amazing cave system. You are warned not to take pictures with flash prior to entering, but you don’t need it as the ambient lighting from the ceiling holes provide enough lighting giving amazing colors to walls of the cave. Upon your way back out, the views of the entrance with the ocean in the background becomes breathtaking. Have fun with and hope this review gave some insight.

Super cool experience. Very knowledgeable staff. Bats are cool; you may see some. Very careful with the ecology and the local wildlife - it's refreshing. Really enjoyed the visit, and it was great how the ranger there took a bunch of pictures for us.

A quick visit, as it’s not a deep cave. But there are two chambers that have beautiful openings to the sky that let in rays of sunshine. Worth the visit! And the park ranger showed me a snake perched in his gazebo!

This cave is spectacular! The fruit bats flying around and the beautiful sunlight through the ceiling. So cool! My family and I loved it! I highly recommend it 👌 👍

We came we saw we left...not expensive, but a waste of time, gas and takes about two minutes to see and leave. Big disappointment.

You have to climb some stairs to the entrance of the cave and tall people watch your head, the ceiling is very low. But it's a nice cave and you can walk to the back until the point where it's too low to walk. It is very hot inside but you don't have to take water with you, we were inside for about 15 minutes.

The entry to caves is part of the ticket you purchase for Arikok national park. The caves are well maintained.

Fabulous cave to check out, especially if it's your first one! The natural light coming in from above helps allay any fears you may have of the dark. Really awesome rocks and fun to investigate. A great stop in the Arikok National Park.

This is another must see when on the island. Cool cave, larger than Fontain, plus the park Ranger had us on a photo shoot!! Best ranger around!!!

Very neat cave system with several domes with overhead breaks allowing sunlight to come in. There are some bats in the cave, but they won't bother you as long as you stick to the center of the cave.

Biked here. Looks cool, but not worth the journey. I've seen better caves. When you look at the pictures you get the same experience as you do when here. The pictures are really good

Pretty interesting cave with some natural light in the center. Be aware that there are a lot of bats and low stalactites.

Probably the best cave in Arikok National Park. It a short walk up and the cave is very easy to walk in as there is plenty of natural light coming through two different openings above. Lots of Jeep Tours buses and ATVs buzzing around. The cave itself is peaceful and quiet. I saw a wonderful 80 year old woman climb the stairs with a cane and with her grandkids. Very impressive!

Very cool cave in the national park. There are several different chambers, so keep going further back to make sure you don't miss them. There are holes in the ceiling that let sunlight in for fantastic photos, and very colorful rocks.

When I have guests, I often skip the natural pool and make sure we make it to the caves before they are locked for the night; I think they are far more interesting. The Quadirkiri cave is tall enough to walk in and has two openings that let some light in (although you may still want your phone flashlight). If you get there at a time when no one else is around, you will likely see some fruit bats flying around as you make your way through the cave.

Amazing caves! Much better than the Fontein caves. You can actually walk all the way back and see deep inside about 300m or so.

Inside the national park, easy to access with your own vehicle. Climb up the scary steps, watch your head so you don't give yourself a concussion, and find the right spot for the perfect pictures!

Explored only a small part of the cave. The darker areas have bats living there and so was not advised to go further. Overall decent notbing extraordinary.

You can see the ❤️ inside the 2nd chamber. The park rangers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the this site. There are many drawings that the Arowak indians had drawn that can still be seen. Its a great site, overall.

Cool caves! And there’s an English & Spanish speaking guide. Makes for great photos. Some cool history here.

Really cool cave! You go from pitch blackness to a sunlit cavern thanks to the wholes in the cave roof. And one of them is heart shaped :)

  • 5/5 Kay D. 2 years ago on Google
Very cool, worth the visit. The road to get there was pretty smooth dirt, a car can totally do it (but wouldn't go further into the park than this with one).

  • 5/5 Travis M. 2 years ago on Google
A super fun cave full of twisty caverns and stalagmites. Included with admission to the park and as of 12/3/21 it was $11 per non resident. Lots of bats

So beautiful! A little stuffy but who cares? It's gorgeous. Don't go deep if you don't like bats.

Came here just based upon other reviews. The caves are of course, very dark, but if you go with a guide, you'll probably get a better lesson about what the caves hold than we did by going on our own. It's worth the stop and a pretty impressive cave system considering its location. No flash photography, and while some suggest taking flashlights, the guides the day we visited suggested not using lights (bats). Check the place out if you have time.

A great experience. Very dark in places with occasional shafts of light to lead the way. Plenty of wildlife in the caves including bats. Lots of great photo opportunities.

A beautiful limestone cave with many preserved coral fossils covering the walls. Our tour guide was fantastic and we clicked many great pictures. Please don’t leave any markings in the cave!

Never knew I could have so much fun in a cave! From the steep steps up, to the combination of light/dark, and the awesome pictures, it made for an exciting short stop! Definitely a must!

Quadirkiri Cave and its surroundings are perfect for the naturalist, as are others who enjoy the natural history of a landscape. Hollowed out of the coral raised from the sea bed millions of years ago, there are two easily accessed rooms with oculars in the ceiling - and the blue skies of the Caribbean. Bats inhabit the more distant chambers, which are closed to the public, protecting the bats. The surrounding landscape of this National Park is pure Aruba. It is dry, covered by organ pipe, barrel, and other cactus species, along with arid-loving brush vegetation. Take some time to explore the caves and the surrounding landscape.

Pretty neat little cave. Guides are very knowledgeable and the two chambers are very pretty. Make sure you go see the second one! It’s much prettier and if the lighting and winds are right you might get to see a dust twister

We did a guided tour of Arikok National Park and Quadirikiri cave & Fontein cave with DePalm Tours and our guide Ziggy was top notch!! Very personable, professional, funny and informative. Buy tickets and schedule in advance recommended.

I came to this cave in the morning and we were the only ones. I was lucky as I could see fee bats. There’s a part that was closed due to people that don’t respect nature and decide to draw and scratch the cave walls.

Meet our local bats, see some ancient indian drawings and explore one of Aruba's unique sights. It's magical.

Sehr sehenswert!

It is like a tunnel with couple of loops inside which take you to a height from where the main cave can be seen. I loved exploring all the tunnels till their ends.
