This dive shop was recommended to me by a local. Had a great time. I went out 2 days with them. They were very attentive and professional. They helped me through my first diving day with them when I had a bad case of motion sickness. Even offering to change my tank out for me after the first dive because they saw I was having a rough time. I would definitely dive with them again next time I'm in town.

Update: I’ve gone out with Aqua Windie’s several times since my first review and recommend them even more than before. Nora, Rosh, Nichole, Rob, and Valentino are an amazing crew that make every dive enjoyable. There is no other dive shop on the island that I would want to use! Fantastic family owned dive shop in Aruba. I dove here 6 times during my vacation and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Windie, Sjoerd and the rest of the crew were a delight to go through and dive with. They have a great sized boat for dives and give comprehensive briefings before every dive. If you’re looking for a great dive shop on the island, this is the spot!

Samantha was awesome in helping us pick out snorkeling gear. She also gave us 2 great places to snorkel. Will go back there if we need anything diving related!

This is a Family Owned/Operated dive shop with Windie, Rene & Sjoerd along with longtime, kind and caring employees like Rosh, Yvonne, Rob, Cptn Valentino who treat you like friends. If you are diving in Aruba, don't waste your time with other Dive Center and go straight to Aqua Windie's for the best experience.

Great facility- would have loved taking the open water course here. Compared to a local competitor this shop was awesome, great staff (Nathan and Valentino🙌), equipment was well maintained and in excellent repair. My wife and I will definitely recommend this dive shop to family and friends.

I give this place a five star because of how nice everyone who works here is. Today was my first ever dive and my instructor, Nathan, was the best person I could have had for this. Overall the dive was amazing we found so much cool stuff everywhere this was the best place I could have gone on my first dive.

Aqua Windie's is an amazing dive shop offering superior service!! I finished my open water dive certification with them in my time in Aruba and it was such a great experience! There dive instructors were professional, knowledgeable and treated me like family I learned so much from them, especially Rob and Nora! I spent 10 days in aruba and after my certification dives I bought another dive package with Aqua Windie's and dove with them every day while I was visiting! Amazing. Love this place. Lap swimming is like breathing to me so I needed to find a lap pool in Aruba. This one is a 40 min walk from my apartment. I got a 10 swim punch pass for $46US .Samantha at front desk was so sweet and helpful. Fluent in English, Spanish, Papiamento and Dutch, she explained everything and even booked all my swims in advance. She took the time to write all my booking down for me on a piece of paper. The pool has a variety of activities including scuba diving lessons. There is even a shop that sells scuba and swim gear. The lap pool although really cold is awesome. I swim in my own lane and everybody there is super friendly. After my swim I lounge in the pool side chairs to dry. These have been my best moments in Aruba. I am super happy I found this pool. Thank you Aqua Windie’s, you are top notch . ☺️👌

We only visited their little scuba-diving store due to a last minute need for swimming goggles. They have a decent selection of diving items, you can park on the street outside. The rest of the facility looked cozy and pleasant.

Ended up in Aruba on a last minute trip and searched everywhere for somewhere with an open slot to dive. Aqua Windie's not only scheduled me right away, but also has the BEST dive staff! Friendly, knowledgeable, fun and even took the time to learn the customers names. Nora and Ras really set a new standard for fun and professionalism. Definitely consider them as your next dive outfitter, and remember to tip! They deserve it!

The venue, organisation and team were great! Our scuba trip was very well planned and implemented. It was simple, clear, safe and supportive from start to finish. It was also a credit that the team were all so enthusiastic and clearly enjoy their job so much too, this made the diving all the more fun and exciting. Thank you for taking the time show and point out of the fascinating marine life like you did. They have wet suits available to borrow also which was great but a lot of these suits were a bit tired and it seemed like they were not being cleaned too thoroughly, so just be mindful if you have sensitive skin like me. Other than that they were really great and I would definitely recommend them!

I had a great experience with Aqua Windie's. I did two days of two tank dives on Fingers reef and the Antilla shipwreck. All of the staff and dive masters were professional, friendly, and entertaining.

Diving with all of you had been an amazing first-time-Aruba experience! I felt very welcome and guided through my PADI Advanced-, Wreck-, and Deep courses with calmness and expertise, which made me confident under water the guidance would be (and was) identical. I've had a blast seeing turtles, a nurse shark, an eagle ray, bloated pufferfish, lionfish, beautiful wrecks, and too many highlights to mention! Professional dive shop with friendly and experienced staff members! We went for two dives as beginners with Sjoerd and he is a great teacher - he paid great attention to us before, during, and after the dives to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Highly recommend this place to anybody (especially beginners).

Came to aqua windies as an open water diver to do some recreational dives and discovery dives with my boyfriend. Nora was an amazing instructor who made the dive amazing! She was great at being a teacher and a guide to show us aquatic life. Everyone at aqua windies is very friendly and welcoming. There is even a small cafe located at the shop called Eduardo's with great food and drinks. Whether you're a first time diver or experienced I'd recommend coming here while in aruba!

The shop is lovely to deal with. Purchased a full faced snorkel which has worked out great. Scheduled a private snorkel with Nora who took us to a local spot known for sea turtles. We saw 4 sea turtles and a couple of eels. It was incredible! Thanks for check marking a bucket list wish Nora 👍.

Best decision made by me. Taking swimming classes along side my physical therapy for my knee n legs problem. Fantastic coaching by our instructor noticing ever detail of our small group and targeting the needed physical problem individually. Thanks.

A wonderful experience taking the discover scuba diving with my 9 yo and 13 yo kids. The instructor Rosh was excellent and kept us safe at all times.

Great experience doing spinning in the pool for the first time. The instructor was very kind and helpful.

My Daughter and I went on your Discover dive today and we had a wonderful time. There were just three of us and Robert the instructor. Robert is a wonderful teacher and guide and made us feel safe the whole time. We have never done any diving and we’re able to learn how to operate the equipment and we’re taken on a 40 minute dive. It was the high point of our vacation. A great experience from beginning to end. I recommend Aqua Windie’s. Thanks !!

At Aqua Windies it's about the experience. With a professional and friendly staff. I've been diving with Aqua Windies on the boat and shore dives for years. There is a nice clear explanation about the diving locations on the boat and on the side. And we always look for beautiful underwater life together with the instructor or divemaster. The dives I've made are always long you really have enough time to enjoy underwater. They help where necessary and know how to say the right thing at the right time. They give you confidence whether it is about your gear or anxiety, they are there for you. For me it feels like coming home at Aqua Windies. I would definitely recommend them!

I went through aquawindies to get my dive certification. When you first walk in, a few people say hello and might offer you a coffee while seeing what program you are there for. The whole staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt very safe and engaged throughout my courses and supervised dives. The location itself is So colorful! They offer not just dive classes; but physical therpy exercise, regular exercise classes, and open lanes for swimming. If you go on the dives they shuttle you and your gear to their boat so you don't need to worry about parking. After each dive they are great company to relax and share a stroopwafel with. I had nothing but positive experiences here. It's easily one of my favorite places on the island

My wife and I took our Advanced Open Diver Classes with Nicole. She was fantastic. Super fun, knowledgeable and easy to be around. Her, Rash, Nora and the rest of the guys were great. Had so much fun diving with ALL of them. Valentino made our first boat dives a total non issue. He is always there when yo I need him and has a quick, funny joke pre loaded. Highly recommend Aqua Windies and Nicole especially for any sort of diving. Really good equipment and people that make you feel right at home!

I dove 7 times with AW over 4 days (2x3 boat, 1 shore refresher) and had a great time. Everyone at the shop, the dive masters, captains, etc were friendly, safety oriented, clearly communicated and ensured that everyone had good dives. I would certainly dive with them again the next time I return to Aruba!

I arrived and was turned away due to medical concerns. If you plan on going and have ongoing medical issues make sure you bring a doctors note. My short experience was very good and I felt valued and cared for. My partner had an amazing experience without me and ended up going two more times the next day. Great prices.
