I adore Aruba for the azure blue waters of the Caribbean. The water is so clear and calm. But my second favorite place in Aruba (2021 was the 31st year I showed up) is Super Foods. For a foodie like me, Super Foods is Disneyland. Aruba is a state of Holland, so the container arrives with all the delicacies of Europe. Plus the local contribution of fresh fish. The Dutch love coffee. This is the best place to buy coffee outside any coffee growing area. I burned off my vocal chords with too much bold coffee, so now I am relegated to drinking decaf. (Groan). I try to drown out the taste with cream to make it palatable. But Super Foods's house brand of decaf (Vrig is the Dutch word) is so bold I can drink it black and be in nirvana. My caffeinated friends can't even tell the difference. I now fill half my suitcase home with Super Foods house brand coffee beans. And their Gouda cheese? Worth the 12 hour flight. Gouda comes in three flavors depending how long it has been aged. I dream about the Gouda cheese I buy in huge hunks at Super Foods. I also explore the Dutch sauces. I don't speak the language so I guess from the package. I take home lots of stuff to experiment. One winner: Einige Echte. It's a soy-like sauce for beef. OMG. The restaurant is also a fav. This is an epicurean island. But one of my favorite places is the Super Foods cafe, Jack's. Good luck trying to get a seat at lunch time! The cafe often puts out pizzas to bake at home. If you can snag one, do it! Fruits and vegetables are imported, so they are expensive. And that is the one drawback of Super Foods. It is pricey. For me, the qualify and the experience are worth it.

This is a really nice super market and while the island is primarily owned or ran by the Dutch, it was pleasantly internationally friendly in regards to find your way around, understanding what is what, and knowing the price difference that you may be normally accustomed to. The facility was super clean and impressive, customers are required to wear masks and mandatorily washed their hands before entering, and the staff with their superior customer service was excellent. If you’re on this side of the island looking for a really descent super food plaza, this is the place to come.

Awesome grocery store with excellent products and lots a variety. Be careful it’s crazy expensive but if you are on holidays, go ahead and indulge. The bakery section is wonderful. European type breads, croissants and pastries. The cheeses are incredible, produce is way too pricey and you can find anything but everything in the grocery section, even gluten free and vegan. I shop for deals and found they had lots of things cheap like big bag of apples 3lbs for $4, fresh baked 675g loaf white bread for $2 and 450g rice for $1.Cashiers are incredibly friendly and speak perfect English. Visa and US cash accepted. Love this place !

Great supermarket with everything you may need during your stay in Aruba. Fresh produce, frozen foods, a huge variety of cheese and meats and much more. It also houses a little flower shop and a coffee shop. The pre-seasoned skewers are THE BEST!!! Honestly better than some food I had in restaurants. They also have a very well stocked liquor section.

I was honestly amazed to walk into this grocery store. It has literally everything for reasonable prices. I expected the island to be limited on supplies, but that’s certainly not the case at all - imported goods from Europe, Asia etc as well as local produce and products, you can get anything you need here.

This is the grocery store you want to go to. The most important thing to me when it comes to groceries stores is this. Fresh produce and great quality meats. This grocery store has both, and now add a wonderful carry out cafe and bakery. Plus this store is pack with with all sorts of specialty items. I can’t forget the prices was very reasonable.

'American Style' grocery store in Aruba. Always interesting to go here. They have an excellent selection for the various nationalities that shop here while visiting Aruba. They have a great bakery as well as an incredible selection of cheeses. Neither of those are surprising considering it is a Dutch Island. The meat department is great. Brazilian beef is super high quality and actually considerably less expensive than in the US right now.

Am I really writing a review of a supermarket? Yes! This place is amazing. They make fresh rolls and bread throughout the day which are so delicious. Then go to the meats section and get some fabulous cold cuts, prosciutto, capicola etc, some pate, some cheese..... It's all so fresh and delicious. Then there are many aisles of European groceries another tasty treats. They also have a large beer and wine selection. Luckily our hotel was only a 6-minute walk away as I went every morning for beer and fresh bread for lunch time sandwiches. Highly recommended!

Super Food is the best supermarket in Aruba. Beautiful, tidy, with a variety of fresh and quality products in an excellent location near Eagle Beach. It also has a restaurant, pharmacy and household utensyls store. It's worth going there.

No trip home is complete without the mandatory go to superfood with your dad and see how many friends/coworkers/acquaintances/family he can meet while I’m running around trying to find the best tomatoes or cereal and run back to the kart. It’s an adventure. In the Netherlands, jumbo and Albert Heijn are my favorite stores to go to so seeing the Jumbo house brand between my options makes me feel a little less homesick in Aruba and in Eindhoven. It’s a wonderful to bridge the gap of shopping in a new country where you don’t know the products when you can get them in your home country already. The store is always very organized, clean, bright and stocked nicely! lots of variety, the departments are well divided with a baker and the meat, dried goods, home goods, frozen, fresh produce ect. The plaza also has some restaurants, cafes, snackbar (didn’t try it but you can EEN KROKET UIT DE MUUR TREKKEN here!!!) Pharmacy, home goods ect. Lots of parking space, close to the hotel area.

Can't have a vacation without snacks! This Super Food Plaza has the largest grocery store in Aruba, plenty of snacks, and the varieties of chips are ridiculous! There are 'Sensations' Lay's chips that I've yet to see in Safeway, Fred Meyer, or QFC! And they tasted Goooood! Adds variety to our vacation. 😃 Things are more expensive than US supermarkets though... if you adjust your mind to Europe pricing paid in US currency; probably won't feel as bad about spending. 😅

Dec2023: 4⭐: I would recommend this store, but the location and the traffic congestion was horrible. The fact that this location was built with one major entrance/exit that meets near a traffic circle brings me to the thought that this traffic manager was either drinking on duty or drunk when he built the roadway surrounding this shopping center. I was able to get into the store parking lot with my small vehicle and family by getting through the enormous amount of traffic. I tried to make turns while in this parking area with all of the ground signs that were not capable of being understood nor legible from the small vehicle I was operating. I entered the front of the store and was a little bit confused about the flow of traffic so I went towards the bakery and began shopping. It appeared that the shelves were being constantly stopped by employees and there were equally a large amount of shoppers moving about the store purchasing items off these recently stocked shelves. It was good to see that the shells were being constantly replenished but this amount of activity added to the congestion up and down the aisles where shoppers were trying to grab and go as quickly as possible. This door appears to have a lot of popular items at reasonable prices. I did find that this store has small shopping baskets as well as shopping carts available for use. This store does not give out bags so you will have to bring your own. There were a number of workers standing by to bag your items as well as their work cashiers available for those picking up several smaller items. The store did have pre-made pizzas, sandwiches, lunch, meat, and the variety of things that visitors could use to prepare for a day on the beach. There were a multiple number of cashiers available when it came time to check out.

What we like about this place is that: 1. The fresh bread is AMAZING 2. The Cafe provides delicious food at reasonable prices. 3. The prices are also have prices in USD 4. Bring your own bags 5. Park along the side 6. Ask for a non-resident bonus card for added discounts. This is a very busy place that sometimes runs out of stock with items. Be patient; they stock the shelves daily, so arriving really early or just before they close is the best time to go. There are other supermarkets in the area but the convenience of the store and other store fronts in the same plaza make it your one stop shop for everything you need while visiting.

This is the place you want to go and stock up for your stay or your day at the beach! The place is well stocked with local and international options. The bakery is outstanding!! Lots of pastry, cakes, packaged baked goods to take home, and they even have stroopwafle made fresh right there. There's a food court inside, as well as a little coffee kiosk called Jack's. Keep in mind that goods are imported into the island so some of the things can be a bit pricey.

Very nice, clean, well stocked grocery store. Large bakery section with very large selection of freshly baked breads, croissants, muffins, cookies, cakes, tarts, donuts, bagels, etc. Large selection of beers, wines and other liquors on the shelf and refrigerated. Good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Large dairy section. Very few low-fat or non-fat items to be found throughout the store. Hot & cold prepared food bar and good meat department. Very good deli and cheese departments and selection. The employees were friendly and very helpful. The store was very crowded due to vacationers arriving to stock up for the week on the Saturday that we went.

Very busy food mart, but they do run out of popular items. They had no hot chickens or cases of water the one visit we made but it is super convenient and a 5 minute drive from where we were staying. There are a lot of smaller markets but this one is big.

It's a very nice grocery store with a lot of products. If you're coming from the U.S. get ready sticker shock. I know it's an island, and everything has to be shipped in, but idk how people that live there afford it.

Very nice place. Upstairs has furniture and home goods. Downstairs has grocery store and both local and international food. There is a cafe in this building. All inclusive shopping.

The prices seemed a bit high to us. But they are on the whole island. We always found what we needed. Store is clean. The cashiers are always nice. I give one less star because I came twice for pizza to their buffet (for lunch and in the evening) and they always refused me to come back another time. So i had a burger and waited for over 20 minutes and it was quite expensive compare to restaurants.

This is the place to do your shopping. The cheese selection is quite impressive, mostly because I wasn't expecting that much of Gouda variety (in case you are a Gouda cheese fan). As usual, do your own research while shopping but you can find pretty much everything here. Just don't expect your local price. Plenty of space to park.

Great supermarket with lots of variety. Imported goods from Europe, America, Asia etc as well as local produce and products. You can get almost anything you need here. They also have a very well stocked liquor section, pharmacy, and restaurant inside.

Pros: Very organized store. Best prices for groceries that I found on the island. They have good selection of liquors and beers as well. Cons: The parking lot is a pain with how it is laid out. Also do not come here for a COVID test. The sign on the door today said they’re no longer doing them here.

This is a really nice grocery store and you can pretty much find every and anything you need. Of course the price will make you blink twice, but the selection of items somewhat makes up for this. I saw snacks that I’ve never even seen in an American grocery store. I think my timing was great too because they gave everyone free t-shirts on the way out. I was a happy camper.

An amazing shopping experience for an American family like ours. It's like Ikea + Shop Right + CVS. It's truly an all-in-one spot for all your needs. I would be surprised if I turned down an isle to find an OBGYN & dentist. 😅

During my first visit to Aruba, I ventured out from the resort to get a few food items for my stay. I found Super Food Plaza, which was recommended by family who had been here before. This place has just about everything I was looking for and it was very easy to find. I like the cleanliness of the store, but I really like how friendly and helpful the employees were when I asked a question and when I checked out. Super Food Plaza was recommended to me and now I'm recommending them to you.
