Fantastic lunch today! Excellent food, service and prices. I had the fried chorizo and my husband had the Bandeja Paisa. I would recommend giving La Fonda a try!

The best bang for your buck in Aruba. The food there is outstanding too.

They have an amazing $7 lunch special and a lot of options too outside of the lunch special. The mango / passion fruit flan was one of my favorites. The coffee, the perfect touch to end my meal. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Diana is a great waitress and made sure we had a fantastic experience. I loved the ambiance inside too.... I wish we a restaurant like this back in Michigan !

The best food we ate in Aruba so far! We took empanadas, steak and fish and they were all delicious. Big portions, good prices and nice people too.

Hands down a must eat when in Aruba! The food, the staff, the service and the owners are all fantastic! You should definitely try the ceviche, and the beef stew! Oh did I mention the absolute best mojitos made by William! Enjoy!

Great food. However, I take one star since my order was mess up since I ordered the red snapper. It suppose to come with 2 sides and rice and I only got one side. They charged me for the second side and never got the rice. The empanadas were great and the bandeja paisa was fantastic. The chicharrón was delicious and crispy. Flan and Tres leches is a must try. The owner was very friendly.

I've been coming to Aruba for 15 years. This island has a surprising amount of amazing food and La Fonda may quite honestly be one of my new favorites. For Colombian, it's as authentic as it gets. The owner, Rutledge, clearly cares about how his business is run and it directly reflects in the the quality of food, reasonable pricing and friendly staff. William and Mariana were our servers and they both went out of their way to make sure our visit was memorable. At the end of the night, I found my appetite more satisfied than usual at a fraction of what you would pay at a vast majority of the restaurants within in the vicinity (mostly over-priced mediocre food catering to Americans in the high-rise hotel area ). My only regret is having to wait another year for my annual trip back to Aruba to enjoy this food again. 5 Stars ALL Day

We found this local gem tucked away from the major tourist street. We're big fans of South American (Colombian) food, so were eager to try the mixed platter of meats, with a side of sweet maduros. Boy, did it not disappoint. Delicious and highly recommended particularly shared amongst others! Thanks so much.

The food was great! Well-portioned and affordable prices. We had their Special of The Day which is 17.50fl (about $10). It came with agua panela, frijoladas (bean stew) and a choice of chicharron or grilled chicken breast with rice, salad and plantain on the side. Everything was delicious!!! We had to order extra chicharron! So good. I do have to say that a small renovation would improve the restaurant's atmosphere. It feels a bit outdated and some of the corners of the walls are starting to look run-down. Other than that, the staff are accomodating and friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a nice Colombian meal that is affordable without sacrificing quality. Will definitely be coming back again!

Extremely delicious. In fact, so good we came here three times in 7 days. The wait staff is incredible and attentive. I would absolutely go back again in a heart beat when I'm in Aruba.

From the outside this place might not seem like much and you might miss it if you aren’t a local. It definitely is worth checking out as the prices are very fair and the food is absolutely delicious and probably my favorite. It’s the only restaurant we went to every single night!! The staff are also amazing and accommodating.

Ordered the colmbian mix grill, plenty of food for 3 people. Came out piping hot. Lots of different things to try. Came with 3 sauces with 3 heat levels. Great way to try Arabian fare. Also ordered empandas. pretty good.

La Fonda has DELICIOUS 😋 food and great service! The portions were perfect and the price was cost effective. We loved this place so much we had one meal here every day of our 10 day stay in Aruba. Cannot wait to return. The whole red snapper is my favorite followed by the chicharron. Definitely recommend this awesome restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

You MUST eat here. This restaurant offers more than just amazing food, the service is out of this world. Shout-out to the owners, our waiter William and the kitchen staff. From the moment we walked in, to when we left we had a fantastic experience. We even got up and danced some salsa. We enjoyed 2 amazing dinners here which we enjoyed so much we went back a third time for take-out lunch - our only regret we didn't order more. Everything is excellent, but you must try the ceviche, and the mixed meat platter & their hot salsa sauce is to die for.

The food is excellent! This is a little whole in the wall and not at all touristy! We found it because we like Colombian food! Not a glamorous place but clean and staff is very pleasant! Try the bandeja paisa, enough for 2! We have been there 3 times and plan a fourth in the last week here in Aruba!

It's a restaurant very visited. They gave us a table for 4 and we could enjoy a late lunch that date. My Children enjoyed their lunch. My hubby as meat lover enjoyed his dish, I ordered Ajiaco that was the only soup at the moment and I only wanted a soup. It was delicious. Environment is nice. Server were very Friendly

Went for supper with a group of twelve which can be a challenge for some restaurants and staff. The service and attention to detail was amazing with all the food being served together. The only thing better than the service was the food which was absolutely delicious with huge servings. The staff and owners were friendly and made you feel at home. Post meal karaoke was a ball, cant wait to go back.

The food (Patacones con carne) was really good, but the service was very basic. Take order, bring order, fill up water glass, no smile, no offer of dessert or coffee, just the bill - which wasn't right and had to be corrected.

Best dinner in Aruba half way into the trip! Authentic Colombian cuisine just 3-4 blocks from the hotel strip. Within walking distance from Hyatt and Holiday Inn. Great tasting and more affordable than the 5 other places we've tried so far. Try the bandeja paisa for authentic flavors. Foodie approved!

A great family owned and operated Columbian restaurant. The food and service was exceptional !!! A little off the main road but well worth it !! The SURF and Turf was excellent, and the TRES LECHES was the best I've ever had. A must eat place while on the Happy Island.

We ordered takeout on a Saturday afternoon. My husband got the whole red snapper and I got the Colombian mix grill. We also ordered 4 beef empanadas. Everything was fantastic! The fish was delicious, the meat was seasoned and so tasty. The empanadas were very good as well! I highly recommend a stop here for food. Much better than the touristy places closer to the beach.

Really nice place!

My friend and I chose la fonda because they were offering while red snapper for a reasonable price. We were very pleased. Everything was delicious. I got grouper. So tasty. We really liked the vibe. It was casual but very personable. The service was great! I was really impressed with the sauces they offered to put on your fish and fir a salad dressing. So fresh and tasty. We will likely eat there again before we go home.
