Awesome bar and lounge. Small and spacious all at the same time. Great drink menu. We all loved everything we ordered tonight. Had a host seat us that was really nice and our server/bartender was also really great. When we got here it was not crowded at all, us and maybe 2 other tables but at 10pm it got slammed with people from a game that just ended near by I'm pretty sure. Glad we got there when we did. We loved the more quiet vibe and the music was the perfect level of volume (not to mention a AMAZING selection of music too) The cheese curds were really tasty. Almost like a garlic bread/cheese curd hybrid it was damn good. And both of their wings were also good. Glad we stopped by. I recommend this bar for a good group of people to sit around and talk and drink with a bite to eat for several hours.

Although on the main street it feels like a hidden speakeasy as you go up the stairs to a bar/lounge area. The staff were lovely and the drinks were strong! Music was nostalgic and for the right crowd. We ordered the 3 Rim Repo (purple) and the Somewhere in Tulum (gold). I'd like to come here on a busy night and enjoy the vibe of the place.

My cousin discovered this cool place while we were staying in Orlando for a RE/MAX conference. We were looking for some special places to experience Orlando night life on our level - which of course means the best, small, intimate bars with an excellent mixologist. The bartenders took special interest in making sure our cocktails and appetizers were on par - and they hit the spot precisely. We highly recommend to any newcomers to the city! Go up a hidden stairwell and enter a special place of awesome art and ambiance! We will come back!

A very wide selection of low- and high-end liquors, from mezcal to scotch to cocktails and much more! The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. The interior is nicely decorated, the background and music are not overwhelmingly loud, and there's usually seating available.

Steven took really good care of us! Went out for a bit with some co-workers and we had a great time hanging out with him on a chill Monday night. He made us a super yummy improv shot of creme de mint and amarula cream. Highly recommend!

This place had a really cozy vibe to it. I came here with my friend after a long photoshoot and it was definitely the right choice. Our bartender was very kind and helped us right away. I had ordered cheese curds and they came out fairly quickly, and ofcourse they tasted great as well. It was a great compliment to the Snowflake Whispers cocktail that I ordered. I like drinks on the sweeter side so If you like sweet cocktails I definitely recommend Snowflake Whispers, it's pretty refreshing! Overall I had a great experience and I'm definitely coming back with more friends.

Solid for weekends slow during the week but solid if you want a chill spot. I started here and it was the best place I could've began my night

First time visiting this bar for a work occasion. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and upstairs esthetic's. It does have we're in the "woods" type of feel minus the tree's and nature but i did love the decor. Our bartender was awesome. He was able to make my type of drinks that weren't on the menu and they were strong! Just what i needed after a long day and brining in the weekend. They also have a food menu and weekly specials. They offer a 25% off discount for service workers as well.

Snowflake Whispers was incredibly well balanced. I could drink that again and again for $10. Happy hour is 25% from 5-8 pm. We were promptly greeted and served a glass of water. The staff frequently check in to make sure we were satisfied. The staff was burning incense. The place REEKED. If you are sensitive to smell this is not your bar.

Chris is the best bartender!! The cocktails are amazing and the food is great! Ambiance is amazing as well. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem!!

The place seemed cute, only about 5 people there. However, the bartender tonight (12/8/29) was rude. My friends & I went in for a drink but decided to go to the bathroom first & I admit we might’ve been a little loud considering it was such a quiet place but the bartender came up to us as we were leaving the bathroom & said “you guys keep it down or you can leave” which was extremely rude, had he said “hey you guys are being loud can you keep it down?” I would have been ok but the “or leave” was what bothered me. I thought that was extremely rude. We didn’t get to experience it any further. The guy at the front door was so sweet through! He was great. :)

Honestly, the best craft cocktails I have ever had. Both the menu options and the cocktails suggested by Morgan were FANTASTIC. We plan on coming here weekly. In addition, the service was incredible. Morgan was fun to talk to and Chris was very attentive. Their cheese curds are unlike any other and their mac and cheese bites were absolutely delicious. Awesome vibe. If you’re looking for great craft cocktails, good food, and a place to hang out... The Woods is your place :) 10/10

This place has some of the best cocktails in Orlando I was beyond impressed. had the loaded fries loved them didn't really care for the wings however they seemed a bit fatty and chared on the outside.

Super cool place, my friend and I happened to come across it after a concert at the Amway. It was a Sunday and they were getting ready to close at midnight but the bartenders made us feel very welcome and not at all rushed. I had their Woods old fashioned & my friend had a Cosmo. Super delicious, fresh drinks, very chill vibes. Love the decor and atmosphere, very laid back and nothing crazy or loud. Perfect place to relax. Wish I remembered the bartenders names, two guys, thank you for a great time!

Atmosphere is beautiful, bartenders are top notch, craft cocktail was delish I got a dark and stormy. They also had table top board game things which was fun. Music was beautiful. Such a relaxing, kickback space with quality drinks and staff, but there are stairs you have to walk up not sure if there was an elevator

When I’m down there’s only one place that can get me going, and that’s the Woods Orlando. Once you walk up those stairs you’re in the mood because of the sexy jungle tree house ambience. I’ll take an espresso tini or 3 hehe. The manager nick (has tattoos) made me put my shirt back on but I now understand it’s a classy joint. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been a The Woods customer for over five years. They have recently come under new ownership. I must admit that the place is now very well decorated, and the bar area is more organized than before. At about 8:30 PM on Saturday, I had two well-crafted Old Forester - Old Fashioned - $8 each. Bartender - Rachel was great and knows her craft well. The bar started quiet and relaxing, with maybe only six people. About 20 minutes later, a group of guys showed up, and the bar below (which I think is the same owner) was testing their sound system, so the bar went from quiet to loud, therefore the four stars vs five stars for Atmosphere. There was only one negative review item, which moved the Woods down the list of bar locations I would patronize in Downtown Orlando - I tend to tip between 15% to 40% depending on the service, and rarely do I tip at the 15% level. The Woods now has an "Automated Service Fee Gratuity “ - 20%. I tipped $3 additional but was told I could not "reduce the amount.” Was glad that the bartender also told me "Gratuity" was included. I understand the reason for Auto Gratuity for groups of people or maybe during Happy Hour, but I also believe that if a bartender pours me one $4 - $6 beer, a $1 tip is good, or that poor overall service should get my lowest tip %. What other Downtown Orlando Bars have implemented "Automatic Service Fee Gratuity"? If not for the gratuity issue, would have given The Woods - 5 stars for this review.

I love this place! They even do cocktail making classes on Saturdays (book in advance because they are usually booked out for a while). A group of 10 of us took the class and were completely blown away by how much we learned and how much fun we had. I don’t think any of us wanted to leave, but we had drank a ton so we definitely needed to. Jeff and Morgan were the absolute best. We are going back whenever we can.

One of the best spots downtown in my opinion. It's no smoking and has a full bar. It's also pretty low key It doesn't get too crazy on the weekends. If you like good whiskey and have a bit of a fancy taste you might find something you like here.

Great drinks, awesome atmosphere! Pricey but they do Happy Hour and on Wednesday they give you a fantastic piece of Applewood bacon that is delicious.
