I
have
been
a
The
Woods
customer
for
over
five
years.
They
have
recently
come
under
new
ownership.
I
must
admit
that
the
place
is
now
very
well
decorated,
and
the
bar
area
is
more
organized
than
before.
At
about
8:30
PM
on
Saturday,
I
had
two
well-crafted
Old
Forester
-
Old
Fashioned
-
$8
each.
Bartender
-
Rachel
was
great
and
knows
her
craft
well.
The
bar
started
quiet
and
relaxing,
with
maybe
only
six
people.
About
20
minutes
later,
a
group
of
guys
showed
up,
and
the
bar
below
(which
I
think
is
the
same
owner)
was
testing
their
sound
system,
so
the
bar
went
from
quiet
to
loud,
therefore
the
four
stars
vs
five
stars
for
Atmosphere.
There
was
only
one
negative
review
item,
which
moved
the
Woods
down
the
list
of
bar
locations
I
would
patronize
in
Downtown
Orlando
-
I
tend
to
tip
between
15%
to
40%
depending
on
the
service,
and
rarely
do
I
tip
at
the
15%
level.
The
Woods
now
has
an
"Automated
Service
Fee
Gratuity
“
-
20%.
I
tipped
$3
additional
but
was
told
I
could
not
"reduce
the
amount.”
Was
glad
that
the
bartender
also
told
me
"Gratuity"
was
included.
I
understand
the
reason
for
Auto
Gratuity
for
groups
of
people
or
maybe
during
Happy
Hour,
but
I
also
believe
that
if
a
bartender
pours
me
one
$4
-
$6
beer,
a
$1
tip
is
good,
or
that
poor
overall
service
should
get
my
lowest
tip
%.
What
other
Downtown
Orlando
Bars
have
implemented
"Automatic
Service
Fee
Gratuity"?
If
not
for
the
gratuity
issue,
would
have
given
The

-
5
stars
for
this
review.
