Quaint, little Greek restaurant located in downtown Springfield, Missouri. Laid back, urban Mediterranean cottage themed interior. Seats about 30. Table, bar, and half table and booth seating available. Saw 1 outdoor table, but kind of cramped due to road construction off the main road and a narrow sidewalk. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. I ordered the short Hazy IPA, Falafel Platter and a baklava to go while my husband ordered the rice bowl with chicken. Everything was beyond delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Impressed with the Midas. Lamb was prepared excellently. Fries in the pita doesn’t do anything for it so not sure why they’re there. Baklava was fine, so was the dip. Would return.

Greek Belly is a staple with my household! Every menu item I have had is stellar! They offer a wide variety of Greek specialties from baklava to dolmades. Do yourself a favor, get the kraken pita with a side of feta fries, outstanding!! Also, make sure to try their falafel, some of the best in Springfield!

My son and I ate here for lunch yesterday and it was wonderful! The meats were full of flavor and delicious! My only issue was that I received my meal before my son, by at least 15 mins. However, they were incredibly busy and the staff was friendly, so they still received 5 stars.

Small downtown location that serves many and has amazing food. I've been twice now and am already looking forward to my next visit. If you like Greek food, and I do, you need to try Greek Belly downtown Springfield! I recommend the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), the villager or greek salad, a pork gyro with hummus, the gyro platter with pork, feta fries and baklava. Lots of flavor, thick and creamy tzatziki, tender meat, and flaky baklava that's just sweet enough.

It's a little hole in the wall. But it's clean and had a wonderful feel of being in Greece. We ordered spanakopita, a mixed grill platter, a Midas pita with lamb, baklava, ziki fries, marouli salad. And water. Everything was delicious. Wait staff friendly and helpful. I'll be coming back.

Lunch today did not disappoint except they’re always so busy so seating is hard to find. But for sure worth the wait. Always! Chicken gyro and feta fries are my go to. I forgot to order extra tzatziki sauce. I could eat that by itself. The other is a pork dish. I forgot the name of it but it looked great though and my friend was satisfied.

We visited Greek Belly (thanks for the image btw!) on the recommendation of my nephew who is from here (we’re from Connecticut). We’ve also eaten Greek food in Europe and was pleasantly surprised by how good the Greek food tasted here in MO. I had the sliced pork gyro wrap with a fresh salad, fries and Green Ghost IPA and my wife had the gyro plater. We both love the flavors of our meals and the friendliness of the restaurant staff. Five Stars!

This is a fantastic little gem! Always great to find some stellar greek food with good service and a cute atmosphere. One downside is that it's pretty small, but it added to the charm. What we got: Spanakopida: (pardon my spelling if it's wrong) 5/5 it was flakey and light! Super good! Feta fries: 5/5 SUPER flavorful. Still felt light, not greasy at all. The feta was light and not too strong. Perfectly seasoned with a salty lemony zest. Midas Pita: 5/5 This gyro was really good but if you aren't a fan of lamb, maybe not for you as it had a pretty strong lamb taste. The lamb was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. I asked for Tzatziki instead of the sauce it normal came with. You can tell they make their Tzatziki from scratch. Kraken Pita: My friend got this one she rates it 5/5. One thing she mentioned is that she would have preferred the Tzatziki to be drizzled on top vs all on the bottom. But also also super tasy! The fries in the pita are super interesting never seen that before. Loved this stop it is definitely a Springfield MO must stop for lunch! Oh and the drink options looked great! Just didn't grab any this time.

This place was awesome! We sat ourselves and were greated quickly. We just got food and ordered the Atlantis Pita and the Chicken Gyro platter. The food was phenomenal! Atlantis pita is a must have, perfect combinations of flavors! Chill atmosphere, cute decorations. Not alot of seating but wasn't to busy for a Friday night at 740p.

I was a bit sketchy at first because instead of lamb, the gyro offered here focused on chicken and pork. The speciality gyros also listed some interesting toppings. However, once I bite into it, all the questions went away. The minotaur pita just worked. Full of flavors, and I finished it fast. Side greek salad was just cabbage and carrots; not worth the $3 but probably better be wrapped in gyro too for more textures. The place was tiny but well designed. I liked the open concept kitchen. Food were honestly prepared in there as I watched from my table.

This is the best Greek food I've had outside of Europe in the many years I've lived in the US. The tzatziki was just like I had during my many trips to Cyprus, the Gyros was so good. The only complaint I have is the 4 hours it takes me to come here again. Thank you for providing a wonderful meal.

I throughly enjoyed this little unique and delectable place. The are staff are super helpful and friendly. If you are unfamiliar with Greek food, no need to worry. The staff are more than willing to give you a rundown of the menu. The menu covers all the typical greek eats. They even have baklava and other Greek sweets for dessert! Just don’t forget the TZATZIKI SAUCE!!!

This place is so freaking adorable!!!!!! The decor with the tables and umbrellas on the ceiling gives off a real feel of just sitting along a sidewalk enjoying your afternoon or evening. Love the ambiance! I ordered the fries with chicken and tahini sauce and it was pretty good as I had never had that combination on fries before and ordered the hummus with beef. I wasn't overly impressed with the hummus but the beef was seasoned and tender nicely and my friend said the Baklava was AMAZING!

We came here and ordered the Prometheus Feast for our family of 4 and it was barely enough for all of us (but we weren’t super hungry!) Not a complaint. It was a great choice! The food was so so good! I was not a fan of the pork souvlaki… it was very tough but everything else was quite delicious. It hasn’t been noted here… and I really DO like this restaurant but the floors are sticky and dirty… every crevice is covered in a film. It’s off putting. Even the window sills are layered in a nasty film of food dirt. I don’t know how such a nice restaurant is so dirty but it’s worth noting because it’s gross. OTHERWISE, I like the food here!

When you walk in the door, you immediately hear the Greek/Mediterranean music playing softly over the speakers. The ceiling is lined with colorful umbrellas and other decorations. We went for lunch, when they do counter service. (Evenings and weekends the have table service.) Since it is downtown and only a hop skip and a jump from campus, we reserved a table using Google Maps. The owner introduced himslef and explained that it is a "aunthentic" Greek restaurant therefore you won't find the Chicago originating lamb and beef gyro meet. I ordered the mixed platter with bifteka and sausage. My wife ordered the Kraken. And, my son ordered the bifteka. Everything was delicious, if not new to us. We also shared a cup of red pepper soup, a regular baklava and a pumkin spice baklava. Definitely worth a try.

Little restaurant, it is nice. We did found the menu a bit confusing and the girl that was helping us was no very helpful to bring more clarity. We decided to order and went with the flow and order what we think it was. The food was good and tasty.

Absolutely amazing! The flavor and the depth of everything shone through tremendously. I ordered the Minotaur Gyro, husband ordered the Midas Gyro, and we got the Spanakopita to share. You can tell everything is made with love from quality ingredients. We were just passing through town on our way to St Louis, and glad we made this stop.

Get this Greek in my belly! This is one of my new favorite places in springfield my family can’t stop visiting! The variety of flavors is amazing with the peach jam being a favorite! Some of the gyros can be meat heavy but still enjoyable. There are also some heavy on veggies so it can really go either way! I wish there was a plain french fry option as the seasoned fries can be a bit much in addition to all the other flavors in the meal. I wish there was more drink options! Coffee here is not very good, I would stick to the greek soda options.

Genuinely my favorite restaurant in Springfield, the food is delicious, fresh, and fairly priced. I always feel like I’m eating a home cooked meal when I come here. The staff are so kind and the vibe is homey. There are 800 restaurants in town but this one is the go to hands down.

Just a delightful little local treasure. The garlic dip is the most dramatic flavor I have ever tasted!!! Love Gyros and this is the place to find them. The Baklava is so sweet and delicious. Walk about downtown and stop in.

Maybe was an off night but the food was just meh. The pita platter was my selection. The fries were good. The slaw was okay bit was smothered in fresh black pepper and the slaw was irregularly chopped with huge pieces of cabbage and tiny pieces. The hummus was also smothered in black pepper and had an odd gritty texture. I couldn’t eat it. I asked to try the tyshekie instead and charged me $1.50 for a two tablespoons. I did enjoy the Zoe wine. The decor is fun.

My husband and I love Greek food and have had quite a bit of it. Greek Belly was some of the best we've ever had. The flavors in their meat alone were outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and chill. We will 100% be back here frequently! Thank you!!!
