A different experience. Not for serious immersive movie experience. This is more for casual, relaxed, feels like closer to home theater experience and you can order from an extensive menu. One of the best beer selections for dine-in theaters. My only gripe would be the tall tables. Kids can have trouble finding a comfortable angle to watch the movie. If for me, the table and my drinks on it block the view when you recline. Other than that, it's a clean, seamless fun experience.

Pretty cool bar and movie theater with a very welcoming vibe.. Sample local draft bar for free or just order one of your favorite selections.. There is a food menu available in the bar area, and they allow you to bring drinks from bar to the theater.. Food quality is really good and so are the drinks. Coming to this movie theater will not be a disappointment.. This movie has a very modern design with stadium seats that recline back, with tables built in the seat.. Try to arrive early to order your food and drinks before the movie starts.. Once you get to the theater you will have to pick your seat..

Took my fiance here for his birthday. It was highly recommended by a friend. We will for sure be back! The atmosphere is perfect! Exactly what you want, but rarely get, from a theater! Prices were better than my local basic theater. We each ordered a different burger after seating ourselves in a couple of super comfortable reclining seats accompanied by a table with lights underneath. Best burgers we ever had. Our server was helpful and quick. We liked the way they had things set up and they executed them with professional class. Movie was great. One of the best I've seen in a while. Also shared they huge cookie milkshake. Although it was sticky, it's was soooooooo good. Worth it! Well probably use this theater for all our movie nights. I could handle a 3 hour movie in this kind of setting. Not like the average theater. If you're thinking about it, do it! It was the best date night ever.

Small intimate theatre with great views of the screen. The seating is clean and comfortable with reclining seats. Great selection of food and drink delivered to your seat by friendly and efficient servers. You can also get a never-ending bowl of popcorn. I recommend getting tickets online ahead of time, good seats are often sold out. Process is easy although there is a small fee. Discounted tickets on Tuesday ($7). This place is a fun theatre and great way to take in a movie but food and drink is pretty pricey, just be prepared. I understand you pay for the experience and service but it caught us a bit off guard the first visit.

Normally we have a really great time when we go, but yesterday was not so great. My husband and I went to see a movie and we ordered two burgers. I ordered the breakfast club with a beyond patty and no bacon. When we got it it had come out without the cheese and fried egg, which I understand the mistake but we wanted both on. We pressed the button and flagged a waiter to get it fixed. My husband tried to explain the situation to him and he jotted some stuff down on his notepad and left rushed without saying anything. At this point we didn't know if it was going to get fixed. About fifteen minutes later we get a new burger with fried egg and cheese on it, I eat some of it and then realize there is bacon on it and a beef patty. I don't eat any more of it and then we get the tab for the food with three burgers, one comped but they charged us extra for the egg and cheese, although it already came with the burger on top of the beyond burger being $3 extra. We speak to them at the end of the movie and we get two burgers comped and the extra charges taken off. Which did make it right but it's frustrating that we spent probably about 30-40 minutes of the movie fussing over food and that we did not end up getting the correct burger. I love the Alamo but it kinda ruined the experience and I think next time we will just eat beforehand.

It was pretty nice. Not to crowded. 2 adult tickets and a pizza and 2 drinks was 60 bucks. Pretty pricey but still worth it. The waiters bring everything out to you. The only reason I gave the Alamo 4 stars and not 5 is because it took them 42 minutes to bring my drink out. I was pretty thirsty by the time I got my drink. The food was pretty good. Would return.

We ordered our tickets online and then showed up at our showtime. As soon as we arrived to our seats we were greeted and they explained the process of ordering food and drinks. Fair warning there is a 18% charge to every food item and drink you order, it is not a tip. I would say it's worth it,the food is high quality and the staff is kind and friendly! The movie was great as well and the audience was quiet and respectful.

Absolutely awesome experience! Movie, dinner, drinks, recliners, atmosphere - all very high quality. Service was fast & I really love not having to talk to/have awkward interactions with people. Only downside is the food is absurdly expensive (I guess everything is at the moment though) & includes a ~$3 service charge, which I would be happy to pay as an automatic tip for the servers but still tipped 20% because I'm not sure where that goes. Pricey, but a great time :)

A better experience than most theaters that you will find in the Midwest. However, this is certainly the weakest Alamo I have been to. It wasn’t always this way; my friends made this our local hangout for a long time. However, after the pandemic, there’s has been a lack of care that has existed. Food will be wrong or cold, the staff will be running from corner to corner (sometimes bumping into people) and the theming hasn’t been updated since it was first opened. In my small opinion, I think the staff are down to a skeleton crew. I’m sure these are issues where they are struggling because they are low priority. Totally understandable. Maybe I’m wrong. Regardless - this Alamo isn’t always what I see during the previews. And.. it just sucks.

This was the 1st time I've visited the movie theater since it changed hands. I'm not a fan of the food services they have in each movie theater. They got my order wrong 3 times. I was not happy. Not enough butter on my popcorn like I like it. They messed up my daughter-n-laws order also. Also, when they bring your order, they walk right in front of you, so you're being interrupted each time you do a refill on pop & popcorn or whatever you've ordered. The only part I liked about the food service people is you don't have to leave your seat to get your food & drink. I don't feel like you should be forced to pay an 18% for the food service. Especially when the food service is very poor. Let's not talk about the length of waiting for your refills. All in all, they only get 1 star on service. Total is 3 stars @ best. They have a lot of room to grow, that's for sure.

I cannot believe I hadn't been here yet! This is what a movie theater is supposed to be! Excellent seating with power reclining seats, full-service dinner and drinks, and I mean alcoholic drinks too! My wife took me out for Father's Day, and it was amazing! Staff are super friendly and chill, easy to talk to. I literally ate a burger and had a beer while watching Jurassic World: Dominion... I'll be honest, I think I enjoyed the atmosphere of the theater more than the movie. Great place for a date night, out with the boys or even a ladies night out. Kids are welcome, but I believe there is a sort-of curfew, as in no kids past a certain time. Earlier showings, however, being the whole family. Will definitely be going back!

I was slightly dubious of trying a place different than my traditional AMC movie experience. I shouldn't have worried! The Alamo Drafthouse provided a complete, and I mean complete, nerdy, and immersive experience. If you have never been - you place your order on a card, place the card in the holder, flip the red light switch in the middle on the top, and service will show up quickly. Popcorn was perfect - only one kernel in 2 bowls AND extra seasoning included. Prices were high but worth every penny for the experience and taste. Beyond the food - even the previews before the movie were carefully curated retro commercials and shows. The inside is modeled after 2001: A Space Odyssey. The service at your seat throughout the movie was quick and nondisruptive. Drop in for a great date night or to hang with friends.

Nice, clean, and modern theatre. The staff was all very friendly. I was a little confused as to what to do the first time I went. There was no one up front to greet us but someone eventually saw us standing there looking confused and came to the rescue. The “waiter” at our seats was helpful and prompt. The adult beverages we ordered were great. We only ordered popcorn and the loaded fries but those fries were the best loaded fries I’ve ever had. Didn’t even need the popcorn!! Overall great experience and will definitely go back. 10/10 would recommend!

I felt sorry for the two men that worked the counter. Sony system they used at that theatre was down and there wasn't any way to show the movie. The men at the counter, they were awesome, very professional, very sympathetic, and apologized profusely. They issued refunds to everyone. This was out of their control. Thanks again guys. You were great. The system Sony sucked.

I went with a few girls after work on a Friday night for my first trip to the Alamo. You find your seat and then they will come around and check tickets and take whatever food or drink order you may want. I like this a lot better than standing in a long giant line to get popcorn, drinks and snacks before finding a seat. Things just seemed to move smoother this way. If you want to add something else to your order, you just write it on a piece of paper provided and push the button to notify them. They come by quite quickly to take the order and minutes later a server is back with your food. Delicious food, friendly service and an all around great experience. I can't wait to bring the family here!

I love watching movies here. Staff is awesome, polite and helpful. 1. I been here two times so far, and they do serve delicious food. 2. My server was very hardworking girl, and she check on me if I need anything else in longer movie. 3. They give a small toys or candy to kids. 4. They have a nice bar & restaurants next to the reception which is great place to hangout with your family and friends. 5. Restrooms are very clean and well maintained.

Bar time was great. Movie was fantastic. Dinner in the theater ...terrible. I actually wrote down exactly what I wanted for a meal, and it came out absolutely wrong! My wife ordered loaded fries and there was so much spice and cilantro on it that it wasn't edible. How can you get an order wrong that was written by the customer exactly. The food was compt. But still... Get your act together.

It's fine, but I think there should either be a bigger bathroom or multiple bathroom areas. I had to wait 15 minutes just to piss, which I needed to go pretty bad. It was nice tho and I enjoyed the salty popcorn 😋

A unique twist to watching a movie. Food was pretty good, they add in a fee for bringing it out to you. I wish there was a way to turn off or hide the little lights on the table in front though. It was a little distracting. The drinks come out fast, they'll have a water waiting for you when you get there. The theater sizes are a little on the small size so if you're looking for a big screen you might try a different theater. Overall not a bad spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. Their parking lot was pretty full even on the week days.

I went to see The Hunger Games: "The Ballard of the Songbird and Snakes" at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. I was pleasantly surprised at how well maintained their building is and how amazingly clean their building is! Staff is very friendly--like they actually want to be at work! Not to mention, they have the fancy, comfy, recliner seats! Oh and did I mention that they have amazing (real) foods, good shakes and endless popcorn!!! I also love that their tickets are reasonably priced (comparative to another theater across town, that apparently thinks that everyone in Springfield drives Ferrari's). I ordered the tickets online, and it was very easy purchase tickets, plus you didn't have to take out a second mortgage in order to pay for the "convenience fee" when purchasing tickets online! Another plus is the Alamo Draftshouse participates in the Fair Wages Pact--allowing for their employees to be paid fair wages!!! I 10/10 would recommend the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, when looking "to go see a movie."

If your going to 'just see a movie', it's great! Seats are super comfy, sound system is ok, people are friendly. If you plan on eating and/or drinking, then expect to overpay, and not get your money's worth.

One of a kind experience! I recommend eating at the bar rather than in the theater though, simply because there's no extra service fee. The food is great! I had a sandwich and I can say I think it was the best sandwich I've ever had! Shakes are always AMAZING! They recently replaced their vanilla shake with a Mexican vanilla shake (vanilla with spices like cinnamon). Chef's kiss. I recommend the loaded fries as well. Always a go-to when I go to the theater. Food is a bit pricey, but in my opinion, worth it.

I'm an over the road trucker from Nashville and have seen 2 shows here months apart. The staff is kind and let me park my rig in their giant parking lot overnight. They have a full bar and restaurant plus they will serve you at your theater seat. Huge beer selection and I had a very tasty burger and shake. Theater seats recline with have a table. You can tell some movie lover made a personal dream come true with this place. Cheers!

I used to love this place but the prices have gotten nuts. For just two orders of loaded fries, an order of fried pickles and mozzarella sticks it ended up costing $70 and that doesn't include the tickets for the movie. In the future I'll be opting to get my meal elsewhere and just go to a regular theater. I'll get a way better meal for $70 and pay the same to see the movie.

The Alamo is always a hit. It's a great place to catch a movie. However, because it's a bit more up scale, they automatically place a tip on your bill. Plus, if you buy your tickets online to get the better seating... you have to pay another convenience fee. This can make your trip quite expensive, which can be out of reach for larger families and limit additional tipping opportunities for staff members. Otherwise, the environment is cool, movie offerings are unique and frequent, and seating is comfortable. The food is also...you guessed it expensive...but good. Be prepared to pay for your experience!

  • 4/5 Sena L. 10 months ago on Google
The seating is very nice. You can get a good view of the screen from most of the seats that's not the very front row. Food is tasty, but expensive, and honestly not worth especially with the extra service charge. I'd recommend just drink some water and get some food before or after the movie. Tickets are expensive if you buy them online because of the convenience fee making each tickets $2 extra. I would recommend looking up seats online, and buying the ticket in-person the next time you are out to save the most money.

Not happy with service or lack their of. My bestie and I treated or mothers for Mother's Day. Movie started late, took forever to get drinks popcorn, I can understand the food, constantly turning lights on both tables to ask for the same drink refills, ice for the water and popcorn! The tip should not be included in the bill because once you sign that paper, you never see the server again. I'm giving 2 stars because it was comfortable, my mom liked her chicken cordon bleu, what little popcorn we did get and the ice cream but probably not going back since it was definitely not worth the money!!!

The food is always very good and I’ve never had a complaint on any of the drinks I’ve had. Although, you can never go wrong with a draft beer :) The bar/lounge is a nice atmosphere and trivia they host is always a good time! As far as the movies, being able to pick my own seats is the best part for me! The added bonus is that the seats are comfy and they recline. There really isn’t a “bad” seat in the house! The theaters/bathrooms are also very clean and the service is next level! Will always pick the Alamo for my theater needs! It is almost like being at home with the level of comfort, but there are just some movies you HAVE to watch for the first time in the theater!

  • 5/5 Matthew K. 10 months ago on Google
Had a great time!! Very nice, environment is great. Love the reclining seats with the table for your food. The waitress service is awesome. Order your food before the movie and the bring it right to you. And it was only $20 for my son and I!!

This is my place! I’ve been here more times than I can count on my fingers and toes. The staff are always great and do a great job. The food is consistently good, pizzas and burgers are hard to beat but the wings are excellent too. They have a huge selection of draft beer, and a great bar selection. The seats recline, and they are sticklers about talking during a movie so it’s always a great experience. You don’t have to worry about kids or teens being a nuisance. I recently subscribed to the Alamo Pass which has been a great way to watch more movies at my favourite movie theatre. Alamo, please for all that’s holy being back the fried goat cheese salad!

  • 5/5 Lauren W. 1 year ago on Google
This place gets it!! First it’s fairly clean (sometimes bathrooms get behind when it’s super busy), the theatres are roomy and you don’t feel like you are on top of each other, and they show everything from new to old favorites! Personally I enjoy the old movies more than the new stuff! The menu is huge and they have rotating specials. Prices are reasonable (if you stay out of the alcohol but that selection is great too). I am also appreciative of their child policy and how they offer children’s movies! Would recommend for any family gathering!
