Took kids there to run off their energy before a long flight and ended staying for a few hours as they had so much fun. There’s a Starbucks and Lawson nearby so we could get food in between playing. The only downside was there were heaps of mosquitoes and we all got quite bitten.

I've traveled to numerous places around the world, and I must say, this playground is truly amazing. It's impeccably maintained, and it features a gigantic slide.

Quite an adventurous park for kids, but full of rust and no real shade

The kids had more fun here than at the castle. Lots of local and tourist kids to play with.

Wow. An amazing dining experience! The owner was extremely polite and accommodating even though we did not speak Japanese and there was an obvious communication barrier. Their patience was amazing. The unagi was fresh and grilled to perfection. We also had grilled oysters which they initially did not have but made an immense effort to have some fresh ones delivered to the restaurant. Simply out of this world! If I could give 6 stars…

Massive playground with a 3 storey slide. This is frequented by locals. Naturally the children form a queue to go down the slide. Worth a visit to let kids burn off some energy. One part of the playground is blocked off for safety reasons as of June 2023.

Located less den 200m away from morinomiya subway station, we brought our 3 year old there around 3plus on a weekday afternoon before walking the castle grounds. It was a windy day and climbing up the steps to take the giant roller slide was cold after a few rounds. However it was worth it as we have never tried this kind of slide in our lives, not to mention it’s free! There are vending machines on site, as well as a water cooler and some benches. There is also a paid facility enclosed for younger kids just beside it. Convenience store and a Starbucks is also visible.

Large metal playground at the entrance of Osaka castle. Seating at the edge with bathrooms and drink stations nearby. May not be suitable for children under 2.5 since the equipment designed for older children. Note: don't leave belongings unattended. There are massive crows and pigeons waiting to be fed. Lots of people have picnics in the parks

Huge and awesome play structure. Great place for kids to run off some energy and a roller slide that my kids couldn’t stop riding.

Visited in Dec 2019. By far one of the best playground in Osaka. Bring your kids to enjoy! There is also a paid playground “PLAYVILLE” next door. ¥800 for half an hour or ¥1700 for all day for kids age 6 to 12. Accompanying adult should pay ¥600. It’s a good venue!

Small but good distraction for kids (5-8) beside looking at Osaka Castle. Starbucks steps away for adults.

During a holiday we stopped by with our 5 year old to play here. Japan's playgrounds are typically a bit older in style than what we see now in Australia (with more interesting equipment and softer surfaces). This park was just okay, good for slightly older kids and definitely not for toddlers.
