We stopped by here after visiting the aquarium and it was a pleasant surprise. The price to get in was just ¥300 for adults. Plan on spending 30 minutes petting and feeding the animals.

Loved it here petting rabbits and feeding guinea pigs. Cat and dog area is a touch chaotic. Moving into 2nd and 3rd inner chamber was a different story. Sad and depressing vibe from kangaroos. Lama was shedding fur from stress? The smell was not good, not doodoo smell but more like the smell of animal helplessness, hopelessness? All of them should be brought to animal kingdom where it is a slight step up from this place. No I am sad to say but do not come here unless you want to experience sincere negative disturbing vibe from innocent cute creatures of god.

This place is located in the mall next to the aquarium, right next to the ferris wheel. The entrance fee was only about 600 yen. This is quite a small petting zoo, but it's quite worth it. There is a good variety of animals, from bunnies, to turtles and dogs. There's an alpaca in the big room as well.

I have such mixed feelings about this place. I’ve visited probably 4 times prior so this would be my 5th visit here. I had such fond memories of this place as I could see cute animals and they seemed to be well looked after. This visit was slightly different as there were no more kangaroos nor was there a tortoise and there was only 1 lonely capybara, which made me really sad thinking where the rest of them went. It felt like COVID must have really affected their business, with so many less animals living there. The workers I felt genuinely cared about the animals, especially in the cat and dog room. The staff in the capybara room encouraged us to purchase food for them. If there were too many visitors, the cats could at least escape to higher ground, where as the dogs were either lying there sleeping or chasing the other cats. I so wish to see this place do better in the future as I had loved this place so much! If you visited the Kaiyuukan, you can also have a small discount of the entry fee but the entrance fee is very reasonable anyway.

Good variety of animals to interact with and the entry is cheap. However the place is pretty cramped and staff are quite unfriendly. It's great that the staff love the animals and play a lot with them, but they repeatedly call over the dogs and cats while the customers are petting them. Several times have they called over dogs lying down quietly being petted, and cats resting on customers' shoulders. We're glad to have visited this place as the capybaras were a pleasant surprise. However it was not a great experience due to the staff.

like 600 yen entry not expensive but the animals in the dog and cat section look so depressed, this is kind of sad

I'm really nervous to be excited about any place that has such exotic animals in such a small space. There's nothing more worrisome than wondering if the alpaca, kangaroos, or capybara ever get to run on grass. There is a cute money in a cage that paced around the entire time I was in there. It's obvious the workers there love the animals, as just watching their interactions with them shows how much they care, but love only goes so far. That being said, oh man, I can't believe how cute the dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, monkey, and owls were! Capybaras have wiry fur, which is surprising and kangaroos are shockingly soft!

Stubbled upon this as we wondered around after the aquarium. Great little find especially for kids. Free for under 4s and ¥660 for adults if you do not have an aquarium or ferris wheel ticket, otherwise you get in for ¥600. There were no kangaroos, tortoises or alpacas. You can buy animal feed once you're inside and you get a 30 minute experience.

Went there for the capybaras mostly, but the other animals were super cute as well. Entrance fee is 600yen, so relatively cheap but the only bad thing I have to say is there were so many people :(. There is a limit of people who can go inside but honestly I felt like it was still a lotttt, too much. I think it would be better to charge a little bit more but set the people limit lower, just my take though. The cats and dogs weren’t really interested in anyone else than the workers and the few that were were already playing with other people since there were so many. Apart from that, a really cool experience, you get tax-free (10%) if you have a ticket or proof of ticket of the Ferris wheel right beside ^^. Would recommend it.

Some of the kids living in large cute might not had the chance to see animals or gets closer to animals. The building is full of activities for families and thus is one of them, week end iz crowded, the concept is right but the spave is rather small and rather than this it is a good paid activity for kids

Great for kids. Discount for aquarium visitors. Lockers available. There are fewer animals (most of the birds are gone) because of money loss during covid, but the remaining animals are fun to visit.

super horrible place… i can’t believe i gave my money to them my friends and i passed by and decided to go in because we thought it would be fun and we were wrong. space was small and cramped, with dozens of cats and dogs shoved into the same space that is smaller than my bedroom. animals didn’t have enough beds and resting areas - the big dog struggled to lay on the tiny bed that it was provided with. all animals were sleepy as if they had been drugged and looked traumatised and sick of everyone. the animals were mostly friendly but i think they just didn’t have the energy to fight back. smaller children were also quite aggressive with animals and workers didn’t do anything about it. the rabbit and guinea pig cages were tiny with no playing equipment, only some dried grass and a little wooden bowl to hide under. they seemed terrified too… there was a monkey that was given a tree branch, a hammock and two empty food bowls and that was it. it looked so desperate and sad, super lonely with nothing to do in its enclosure. snakes and iguanas were also provided with barely anything in the enclosures. the maras and the capybaras were placed on linoleum floors, no grass and natural habitats were barely attempted to be replicated. they all looked so terrified and the capybara did nothing but stare at the wall and chew on nothing. workers were pretty annoying as they kept calling over the animals as soon as you went over to pet them, especially the workers in the cat and dog area. animals looked either overfed or starved, and all of them looked super miserable and either slept or just followed the workers around hoping for food. such a horrible place, my friends and i walked out unhappy that we gave our money to them. if u like animals then this is definitely not a place to go to.
